In this one Ember and Ani are 25, so Calvin is away at college or something.
"Ember?" A man asked her. She looked up. He looked familiar, but she couldn't quite place him
"Do I know you?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowed in thought.
"It's Brian Monaghan. I worked with your family for a couple years when I was younger" He explained
"Oh!" Ember exclaimed "It's good to see you Bri That's Bry, not Bree."
"You too. So you are still doing this?"
"Yeah. I guess I've always had a passion for this kind of stuff. What have you been up to?"
"I'm an engineer. I live about 20 miles from here, but I'm visiting an aunt." He said.
"That's cool. Ani will be back soon if you want to see her." Ember said "She mostly works here, but she also teaches Auto Repair at the High School."
"Cool." They made small talk for a couple more minute until Anilla burst in.
"Honey, I'm home!" She yelled, then looking around she said "Oh, hi Brian"
"How'd you recognize me?"
"You have the specific way you furrow your eyebrow." She replied "What are you doing here?"
"I was in town, and I noticed this place, and wondered if any of you all were here."
They talked and laughed for a while, and then Brian got up to go.
"Brian, wait!" Ember called
"What?" She pulled out a business card and handed it to him.
"For if you ever want to get in touch. You just need to call" She said, her cheeks slightly pink
"Okay. I will" and he really would.
Okay, so lately my brain had been writing Roxanne Weasley from Harry Potter into this story, so if anybody is interested in reading that let me know. If I put her in, she would mostly just be a normal character, and you wouldn't really need to know Harry Potter.
