17. Jessica (Post canon~New York)

Jessica decided to go to New York when she heard about Harvey and the ethics hearing. However, she wasnt able to fly in right away and it took her days to do so. Even though Harvey told her she doesnt have to, she decided to visit still. Once she arrived, she went to Harvey's condo since she knows how to get in there.

Harvey's currently home preparing dinner for him and Donna.

When he heard the door, he thought it was Donna. "Dinner's ready in 10 minutes" he said but only to see Jessica appear from the hallway instead of Donna.

"Preparing dinner for a woman now I see" Jessica teased.

"Jessica! I should change my locks" He teased. "Who the unlucky woman?" She asks.

"It's for Donna" he said smiling, hoping Jessica would pick up what he means, that he and Donna are finally together. But she didnt. She thought it's just a casual dinner that Harvey prepared for Donna. They're as close as two people can be without being that, she thought. Harvey has to literally say "we're together" to Jessica.

"In your dreams Specter" Jessica replied, not really believing that they are actually together.

Donna got home also surprised to see Jessica.

"Jessica!" She hugged Jessica and the latter hugged her back.

Harvey then kissed Donna just to prove Jessica that they're together.

"She doesnt believe me" he said to Donna.

"I do now. Are you sure about this Donna?" Jessica said smirking.

"Unfortunatey I dont think they accept returns for something you've had for 12 years. The free returns and exchange had passed a long time ago" Donna joked.

"You both are not eating dinner" Harvey warned jokingly.

They spent the night catching up with everything that's happened over dinner at the dining table. Even with the current situation at the firm, Harvey still feels blessed to have the two women in his life.

One his mentor, and one his forever.

They moved the conversation to the kitchen counter. Jessica eyes what she thinks is their dessert for the night.

"Strawberries and whip cream? Really Harvey that's the only dessert you can think of?!" Jessica chuckled.

Harvey and Donna just stared at each other trying to hold their Donna bought ice cream before going home, which she intentionally bought for another purpose.

After dessert, Jessica left for the night but promised to stop by the firm tomorrow.

"You bought the ice cream for something else did you?!" Harvey teased her once they're finally alone.

"Shut up my ice cream just saved your dessert" she rolled her eyes.

"Next time" Harvey whispered to her ears.

They were already in bed, Donna's already asleep when Harvey got a text message from Jessica.

Harvey got up and called Jessica instead. He went to the living room so as not to disturb Donna.

"I'm a lawyer, afterall" Jessica says, when she joked about needing a proof that they're actually together.

"Well I hope the kiss did that" Harvey replied.

"You know it's not what made me believe the two of you are together"

"It's not?!" Harvey asked.

"Well it helped! I never saw you as happy as you are now, especially when she walked in. Even with what's happening at your firm."

"I really am happy Jessica"

'Goodnight Harvey. I really am happy for you. And Harvey... your face always lit up when you talk about her. I could just imagine how you look right now" she laughed.

"Told you, she's someone special"

"Well glad to see you do something about it. I'll wait for my invitation in the mail?!"

He chuckled. "See you tomorrow Jessica"

"Oh! And please, stop watching Oprah!" She quipped. Donna must've told her!
