Chapter 8: The War with Bowser
The next day had arrived in Cyberville. About ten wyvern riders were flying over the city's newly named Cyberville Revolution Army, which was to be led by Katelyn and her tiger Stripes. However, for an odd reason again, Katelyn was mounted on Stripes' back. She flowed back her pony tail, brandished her silver sword, packed a vulnerary, and held on to Stripes tightly. Then, Ike showed up with Marth, Mario, and Byleth. One of the wyvern riders then flew down to Katelyn and the gang.
"They have come, Lady Katelyn." The wyvern rider said. "The Koopa Army has far too many critters and shapeshifters on their side. We may not be able to make it, but we will try to win this war. Are we right about that?"
"Probably." Katelyn said. "Stripes, you agree?" Stripes did not pay any attention to her beloved tiger-loving owner. He had other things on his mind. Particularly, it was Professor Paws on his mind.
"Sorry. I just had Professor Paws on my mind, Katelyn. Nothing too special." Stripes said.
Back with Bowser's army, all hell broke loose. Bowser had a number of feral ones on his side as well as a number of mythical and legendary beasts, phantom soldiers, evilly trained Pokémon, and many more on his army. Still, it was a lot that even a young girl like Katelyn couldn't handle. Then, Bowser said a simple quote.
"For my territory… for all of evil… for all of the depression I have had throughout my life… All of Cyberville will die!" Bowser said. He then charged at Katelyn's army. Then, before she charged, Katelyn said a simple quote.
"For Greil… for Charizard… For all who have suffered from evil beings in Cyberville… We will win!" Katelyn said. She then charged at Bowser's army. About one hundred of each type of soldier charged at Bowser. From armored lords and ladies to cavalry soldiers and pegasus knights and other soldiers on beasts, Katelyn prayed that she was going to win. Then, Rhea, who was watching from Garreg Mach Monastery, transformed into a giant white dragon that was called "The Immaculate One". She then roared at the entire army Bowser was controlling.
"Uh, what's that thing, King Bowser?" Miklan asked.
"I don't know, but it's best that we get the heck outta here before something bad happens!" Bowser said. "Miklan! Give me that lance!" Bowser later said as he took the Heroes' relic known as the Lance of Ruin.
"What the heck is Bowser doing?!" Stripes asked.
"No… he's got the Lance of Ruin…" Byleth said to himself. "I have to get Sylvain and warn him about this!"
"Byleth, stop!" Katelyn said as she stopped her friend. "Look!" As everyone stopped in the middle of the battlefield, both Bowser and Miklan were covered in black mass. As the mass hardened over time in Miklan's case, Miklan transformed into a hideous Black Beast while Bowser transformed into the horrific Giga Bowser from the black mass due to his species type. Soon after, all hell was about to break again.
"What happened to Bowser?" Ike asked.
"I don't know... but you know what? We're taking him and that hideous beast down!" Mario exclaimed. "But wait, one second thought, Ike… what exactly did happen?" Mario later asked Ike.
"I… I don't know." Ike said. "But maybe Byleth knows."
"He went back to get someone important, Ike." Katelyn said. "But you are on the right track. But I think I know what happened. I may not have a knowledge of those hideous beasts and Heroes' Relics, but I think I can explain well."
"What is it, Katelyn?" Mario and his green-shirted brother Luigi asked.
"Heroes' Relics are special artifacts of Fódlan." Katelyn started to explain. "If a Crestless person like Miklan tried to wield one of those relics, the person, just like Miklan, would turn into a creature called a demonic beast." She later explained as Byleth heard it all with Sylvain and Cloud Strife.
"Wait, are you saying that my brother, Miklan Gautier, turned into a Black Beast when he touched the Lance of Ruin?!" Sylvain asked angerly. "Oh, darn you, Miklan!" When Bowser heard Sylvain through a microphone, he decided to speak out to the Cyberville Revolution Army
"You miserable, pathetic maggots will regret what you have done to Greil and Charizard!" Bowser said. "I am your king of Cyberville now! Salute to me or you will meet your end!" Then, a mysterious voice called out to Cyberville. The mysterious voice happened to be Sephiroth, the one-winged angel.
"All of Smash Bros. and all of Cyberville will now suffer from great despair. Mario, you will meet your end today!" Sephiroth said.
"Sephiroth…" Cloud thought. "I gotta go, guys. You take care of yourselves." he later said.
"Everyone, we have to flee now!" Katelyn said. "I know how Sephiroth is! He as the one-winged angel is too powerful for us to handle!"
"But we can handle him together, Katelyn!" Byleth said. "I know we can!" With a smile on her face, Katelyn shook Byleth's hand and took hold of the silver sword that was on the ground. Then, a roar was heard in the distance. Both Greil and Charizard were resurrected by Cyberville's goddess of resurrection!
"No… I thought I killed that wicked goddess too!" Bowser thought. Then, a bunch of Master Hands and Galeem came to the rescue, wanting to help the Cyberville Revolution Army win the war
"I will destroy Galeem! I will also destroy the Master Hands he controls!" Bowser said to himself. Then, with powerful blasts of light from all the Master Hands and Galeem, Bowser fell to the ground, shaking all of Cyberville in the process. However, structures remained damaged from Bowser's fall and The Immaculate One's fighting.
Then, nothing was over yet. Even though Bowser had fainted from the light, there was still the one-winged angel left to deal with. However, the time called for strategy. As Katelyn and Stripes walked back to Garreg Mach Monastery with some of the Smash fighters, they decided to have some of them help with the strategy on how to defeat Sephiroth. However, Bangle, having an idea, decided to present it to Professor Byleth himself.
"So, if we easily have The Immaculate One and Saint Macuil the Wind Caller team up together to defeat Sephiroth, we can easily save Cyberville, Professor." Bangle explained. "Right? Do you get it? Hello?!" Byleth was not paying attention.
"Oh, sorry, Bangle. I was just thinking about something. But, that's a wonderful strategy." Byleth said. "I must thank you for that."
"You're welcome." Bangle said.
"Alright, that's enough, you two. Now, it seems like we have the time on our hands and arms to go to bed. It's dusk outside. And foggy, too." Katelyn said.
"Yeah, Katelyn's right." Mario said. "We must get some sleep so that we are ready to fight Sephiroth tomorrow. Hopefully we can win this."
"I hope so too, Mario." Katelyn said. Then, everyone went straight off to bed, already to battle Sephiroth, the one-winged angel, the very next day of the year.
