The Sesame Street Rodeo
It was 10:00 in the morning on the Sunday of the Sesame Street Rodeo. Greil was still shocked that he and Jeralt were going to be involved in cattle roping. However, minutes after he and his mercenaries walked out the front door with Byleth and Jeralt, the Flame Emperor showed up again.
"So, you attended the Concert of the Furry Felines, I see." The Flame Emperor said.
"Shut up!" Greil shouted. "How did you even know we entered the theater in the first place, Mr. Flame Emperor?" he later asked.
"I literally saw you walk into the theater yesterday evening, and I was jealous. In fact, you were the ones who made me that way." The Flame Emperor said.
"How did we even make you jealous?" Greil asked.
"I was not allowed in the theater." The Flame Emperor said. Suddenly, a person, possibly the cowboy in charge of the Sesame Street Rodeo, came to get Greil and Jeralt.
"Greil, Jeralt, come with me." The cowboy said.
"Oh, okay." Greil said.
"You will regret your actions, Flame Emperor." Jeralt said. The Flame Emperor disappeared after trying to test Greil when the rodeo started.
"So, the Flame Emperor wants to test Jeralt and Greil at the rodeo?" Titania asked herself.
"Apparently." Soren responded to the question Titania had. Then, the group followed Greil and Jeralt to the ranch where the rodeo would take place.
It was 12:00 PM. The rodeo was about to start. The same cowboy that saw Greil and Jeralt, now identified as a man named Dennis, started to introduce the rodeo.
"Welcome, Sesame Street residents and vacationers!" Dennis introduced. "Ladies and gentlemen, I am your cowboy of the open sesame ceremonies, Cowboy Dennis. And now, I give to you, The Great Cattle Roping of the Sesame Street Rodeo!"
And the event began. However, little did everyone know that the Flame Emperor was down there on a black horse with maroon horsehair. The red armor and the symbols on the saddlebags represented the Adrestian Empire in Fódlan. In the audience, an orange-haired student of the Officers Academy named Ferdinand von Aegir asked someone if the Flame Emperor was connected to Adrestia in anyway.
"Hm… I am not so sure, Ferdinand." The woman next to Ferdinand said.
"Oh. Okay, I guess we'll find out who loses then. The Flame Emperor, or Jeralt of the Knights of Seiros."
As the audience threw popcorn and other foods at the Flame Emperor, Greil, who had the lasso in his hand, ended up roping the Flame Emperor. When the Flame Emperor was dragged across the sand, his mask came off. It was revealed that the Flame Emperor was in fact Edelgard. Everyone gasped.
"Is this… is this even real right now?!" Dimitri asked himself.
"So, the Flame Emperor… was… Edelgard?!" Claude asked himself as he was shocked. Rhea, being head of the Church of Seiros, decided to take the microphone from the higher box of the stadium.
"I am very disappointed in you, Edelgard." Rhea said through the microphone. "I can't believe that you of House Hresvelg would dare betray us." Then, not knowing that a police officer was in the audience, he came down to the stadium section, and arrested Edelgard. However, along with Edelgard, Miklan was about to be arrested too.
"Alright, you birds. Put your hands behind your back." The officer said. "And Miklan, put down the Lance of Ruin!" Sylvain, being in the audience next to a blonde-haired woman named Ingrid, was shocked when Miklan had the Lance of Ruin.
That is House Gautier's Heroes' Relic, Miklan!" Sylvain exclaimed. "Put it down!" However, it was too late. Miklan was covered in black mass due to him holding the Lance of Ruin and lacking a Crest. He was later turned into a Black Beast.
"No!" the officer said. "I gotta run!"
"Grarrrrrgh!" the Black Beast roared as he reared and stomped around the stadium, scaring the audience. Soon, Greil roped the beast's front horn. However, that did not work. He later dismounted from the horse he was riding, and fled with Jeralt, his mercenaries, and Byleth.
"Come on!" Greil said to his company and friends. "We have to flee now!" Everyone later fled to Sesame Street for safety. But the Black Beast insisted on following them. The final battle was about to begin.
