Disney songs sung by Star Wars characters: (PURE GOOFY STUFF, BUT KINDA MAKES SENSE TOO)
Magic Carpet Ride: by Han Solo and Princess Leia
(Song from Aladdin)
"You want what?" the Princess snorted, folding her arms. "You woke me up in the middle of the night for this?"
Han Solo bowed gallantly and indicated the battered Correllian freighter behind him. "Princess, I only asked if you would like to go for a little ride. You mentioned you were getting stir-crazy on this big ol' ship, and I only want to help."
"Right," Leia rolled her eyes. "As if you don't have ulterior motives."
"Your highness," the smuggler entreated with real sincerity. "Imagine it: just us, the Falcon, and the stars. Endless possibilities. You'll be cheered up in no time, I promise. C'mon Princess, just give me a chance."
Leia narrowed her eyes at the handsome young man, gazing at her with his soul in his eyes. She could feel his sincerity. But there was something more. He wanted to share something profound with her. And she couldn't deny that the proposition was … tempting. She was feeling cooped up and stressed, since the Empire was chasing them across the galaxy after the Battle of Yavin. They still had to find a base where they could lie low, recover and regroup. As a leader of the Rebellion, so much fell on her shoulders. Surely it wasn't bad to want a little break.
"Well …" the Princess sighed reluctantly.
Han Solo jumped eagerly to her side and held out his arm in a shocking display of gallantry. She actually raised an eyebrow at the gesture. His first mate Chewbacca opened the Falcon's hatch and they waited expectantly for the Princess to make the first move.
"I promise I won't kidnap you, your worship," Han teased lightly, but under his teasing façade, Leia could sense that he was sincere, and excited to share his ship with her.
She shook her head, fighting a smile. "Whatever you say, you crazy pirate." Leia put out her hand and caught hold of the smuggler's elbow. He escorted her into the ship, Chewbacca roared a farewell, and closed the hatch behind them.
Leia sat in the Wookie's usual seat, which was the co-pilot's chair, and watched as Han Solo flipped switches and pushed buttons, starting up the Falcon's engines and preparing to fly off into space. A thrill of excitement coursed through her body which she tried uselessly to subdue.
But Han apparently sensed it. He turned to her with a boyish grin on his handsome face. "Here we go!" he cheered, and pulled back on the throttle. Chewbacca had opened the hangar bay's doors and the brilliant stars of outer space beckoned them. Smoothly, the Correllian ship slid out of the Home One and soared off into the stars.
Han turned to her with his trademark smirk twisting his face into a mischievous expression.
I can show you new worlds,
Shining, shimmering, splendid.
Tell me, Princess, when did you last
Let your heart decide?
Leia blinked in surprise, startled by his teasing question. "What do you mean?" she asked suspiciously.
"Just what I said, Princess," the smuggler smirked. "It's your call. What do you want? Where should we go? The Falcon is yours to command."
"Oh …" Leia started to retort, but her eyes strayed the magnificent view outside the cockpit. The stars sparkled like strewn diamonds and a magnificent nebula stretched across their sight like a twisted Neimodian rug.
"C'mon, your worship," Han Solo urged with a bit of mischief in his tone, "For once, decide with your heart, not your head."
The young princess frowned, about to order him to turn around and take her back to the Home One, but her gaze strayed once again to the sight outside the window. A sharp stab of longing and grief struck her soul. Her father loved blue, and the nebula draping itself around their position was streaked through with just the shade of his favorite jacket. Wordlessly, Leia pointed at the curtain of colorful gas.
Han grinned as he threw the ship into a twisting dive that made her heart leap into her throat.
I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways, and under
On a Millenium Falcon Ride!
"Whoaa!" Leia gasped as Han sent them into a dizzying corkscrew that drew a whoop of elation from his mouth.
Whole new worlds!
A new fantastic point of view
There's no one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming!
"What do you say, Princess, forget your troubles yet?" Han Solo had to yell over the scream of the engines as he flew through a complicated bunch of loops and turns.
"I must be dreaming," Leia muttered to herself, hanging on for dear life as the crazy pilot brought them nearer to the glowing nebula in a series of death-defying twists and loops, going faster than she had ever gone in her life. "Either that, or I went completely insane when I let this pirate talk me onto this hurtling death-trap!"
"What's that, your highest-ness?" Han asked, easing up on the engines and turning the ship so she could have a better view of the nebula they were pursuing.
Leia didn't hear his question, suddenly entranced by the beauty of the magnificent nebula. Han noticed her awe and slowed even more, leaning back and shaking his head in appreciation of the sight.
"Sure is somethin', ain't it?" he murmured. "It's a whole new universe when you just fly for no reason but flyin'."
Leia nodded, unable to hold back a few tears. Her heart seemed to unclench and her icy mask cracked just a little. She almost forgot that the man sitting beside her was the most exasperating human beings she had ever met.
Whole new worlds
Dazzling places I never knew
Now that I'm way up here
It's crystal clear
That now I'm in a new galaxy with you …
Han really smiled this time. Not an arrogant smirk or a teasing grin. It was a smile of pure elation and boyish excitement.
Now I'm in a new galaxy with you!
Leia turned to him and gave him a smile of her own. Not the frigid smile of false politeness she used on people she despised, or the shy little smile she gave Luke or her other friends, or the mocking one she reserved especially for Han Solo. It was a smile of happiness, and a bit of excitement as well.
Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feelings
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky
Han Solo dove the Millenium Falcon into the swirling nebula, surrounding them with colored gas and flushing the ship's cockpit with beautiful light. Both of them were smiling from ear to ear. When Han gave Leia a questioning look, she only laughed, and he recklessly threw his ship into a complicated twisting loop and a stomach-clenching corkscrew. Han whooped, and Leia shrieked, but it was the same yell of joy that she gave as a little girl before leaping into a swimming pool.
Whole new worlds!
"Don't you dare close your eyes!" Han laughed.
A hundred thousand things to see!
Han Solo gave the Princess his trademark smirk. "Hold your breath, it gets better!"
I'm like a shooting star
I've come so far
I can't go back to how I used to be!
The Falcon jerked and spun wildly in the maelstrom of color, and Leia laughed as hard as she ever had, with Han laughing along with her. She couldn't remember the last time she had been so carelessly, deliriously happy. She felt so free, tumbling wildly through the brilliant streaks of the nebula.
Whole new worlds, Han sang.
Evert turn a surprise, Leia added through her laughter.
With new horizons to pursue, Han grinned and even managed to wink with all the crazy maneuvers he was pulling off.
Every moment red-letter, Leia sang over him, enraptured with joy. The smuggler and the Princess were so wrapped in their happiness that they hardly noticed how they were acting toward each other now. They only knew that they were free, they were happy, and they were singing with all their hearts.
I'll chase them anywhere,
There's time to spare
Let me share this galaxy with you!
Han Solo gradually slowed the Millenium Falcon, both of them still giggling like a couple of younglings. They leaned back in their chairs, catching their breath after the wild ride.
A whole new world, Han murmured, casting a shy smile at the Princess.
A whole new world, Leia repeated softly.
It's where we'll be, Han added, only the tiniest bit of teasing in his voice. He snaked his hand over to where Leia's hand lay innocently on his dashboard.
It's where we'll be, Leia threw the smuggler a little grin of her own. She did not resist when Han's fingers closed hesitantly over her own. His hands were calloused and warm and a little sweaty from gripping the steering yoke.
A thrilling chase, Han Solo barely got the words out of his suddenly dry mouth.
A wondrous place, Leia replied, gazing out at the gently swirling nebula drifting around them.
Then she turned and found the smuggler's eyes on her face and she froze. She felt a sudden fluttering in her chest that wasn't entirely unpleasant. They both finished their song with the same words.
For you and me.

And that's it for now! I have some ideas floating around, like Jolly Holiday sung by Anakin and Padme, How Far I'll Go sung by Luke Skywalker, and At Last I See the Light by Rey and Kylo ... Let me know if any of you have ideas!
