A/N: Happy Thanksgiving!
I do not own Code Geass or Gundam Seed. Those are both works of Sunrise. And amazing works that are not mine.
Also, note that Schneizel has more forces than he did in canon at Mt. Fuji now, considering that it's just Lelouch, Suzaku, and Kallen vs. everyone else.
"It's 11:55 a.m. 5 minutes till the deadline." An officer reported as he watched the clock closely.
"Keep a close eye on that clock private. The second it turns noon, I want the F.L.E.I.J.A. to destroy the remains of the Tokyo Settlement and all the surrounding area. I will not be trifled with. I want Lelouch to know that I won't make any such exceptions for tardiness." Schneizel said as he sat on the throne of the Damocles. "And make sure that the first warhead is aimed toward the Black Knight flagship. Destroying their precious nation will certainly turn them against us, so I would prefer them to be destroyed immediately, one less annoyance in my mission."
"Yes, Your Highness!" The Private looked back toward the console and saw the time had now read 11:57. 3 minutes left.
As Schneizel looked out the observation window toward the landscape of Mt. Fuji and the storm raging, he couldn't help but smile at the forces he gathered. While the Britannian military has been pushed to its limit with the two Gundams, as well as him destroying the homeland and whipped out multiple military units, he still had a large fleet with him, including half a dozen float ships, along with his flagship the Avalon. All of them carrying over a hundred of the latest Knightmares, ready for deployment at a moment's notice.
Also, he had the Black Knights' full cooperation in destroying his brother in this battle, which his brother was kind enough to stack every sort of technological advantage for them, now was gonna be used to destroy him. It was sort of poetic if you think about it. A man being destroyed by the very thing he worked so hard to create. He couldn't think of a worse way for Lelouch to die.
Not only those two, but he also had the Damocles with him. The mighty superweapon which he stood on would be the instrument that would wipe Lelouch and Suzaku out. While they certainly had advanced weapons, those two machines were nothing compared to the might of the Damocles. Plus with Nunnally on board, he had a way to possibly distract Lelouch long enough to destroy him.
Plus, he had a surprise planned for Lelouch should he somehow be able to survive the fleet and F.L.E.I.J.A. warheads. A special surprise just for him.
Finally, Lelouch fought alone. While he did include Suzaku into his ranks, there was no way the two of them alone could destroy this fleet. Gundams or no Gundams. While those machines were indeed powerful, there were only two against both an empire that rules a third of the world, the most technological army ever created, and the most powerful battle fortress created.
They stood no chance…
… or so he thought.
"Sir!" the Private shouted. "We're picking up unknown signals coming from 5 miles out." Schneizel couldn't help but smile. He knew Lelouch couldn't resist the bait he left for him. "We have three total, yet it appears something is attached to two of them!"
Schneizel blinked in surprise. Three?! There should only have been two Gundams. And something attached to two of them. Did Lelouch have some sort of support gear for them now?
The observation screen zoomed in on the source of the signal. And indeed, there were not two, but three Gundams out there. In addition to the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice, a new machine stood in the middle of them a little behind. It was mostly blue and red, with wings attached to the sides. It packed both a large sword on it's back and a long cannon on its side.
And that wasn't the only difference. On the other two Gundams appeared to be some sort of heavily armed support units with two large thrusters and cannons attached to them.
Schneizel couldn't but growl in frustration. Lelouch had been busy with the time Schneizel had given him, and that was his first mistake. He should have just demanded Lelouch turn himself and the Gundams over immediately. Instead his brother, as always, had used every sort of advantage he could muster and use it. That was what was always so annoying and at the same time impressive about Lelouch. He was resourceful and he always was able to find a way with what he was given.
But no matter. Schneizel wouldn't let this stop him. He had a mission to accomplish, and Lelouch, along with Suzaku and, who he guessed were Kallen Kozuki piloting that new Gundam, were just simply in the way. So he would just have to eliminate them. Even though it might be slightly more troubling than he first expected.
So he turned on the intercom and spoke to his brother. "Hello, Lelouch. So happy you could accept my invitation. And I'm happy you've brought more guests with you."
Within the cockpit of the Strike Freedom, Lelouch couldn't but laugh slightly. "Well, when my brother goes to the trouble of destroying the homeland and threatening the lives of everyone on the planet if I don't show, how could I refuse. And how could I not invite my friend to join us."
"I must admit, I am surprised by your fancy little backpacks and that new toy you have Lelouch. Should I be honored that you brought the extra company to our meeting?" Schneizel asked rhetorically.
"I would advise against referring to our comrade as an extra. She hates it when she'd treated as if she's insignificant to things as a whole." Lelouch warned his brother. "Also, so you know, you shouldn't underestimate this machine with us, noir its pilot. She also hates it when you do that to her. Nor would it be wise to ignore the 'backpacks' we carry with us."
Schneizel merely shrugged on the other end, with not a care in the world. "Whatever you say, little brother. But I fear we are getting off-topic for why you are here." Schneizel said as he brought the focus back to the topic at hand. "I believe I already know your answer, but I will ask anyway: will you, Suzaku Kurururgi, and your new comrade, surrender unconditionally to us and turn over your Gundams to the Holy Britannian Empire?"
There was no response right away, only silence. Then, "What do you think?" Lelouch asked sarcastically.
Schneizel smiled. Of course, this would be bis brother's action. He was just too prideful and stubborn to bow before someone else. However, there was always one person who Lelouch may stop for. It failed once, but he was willing to try again. At least to throw Lelouch off his game.
"You may not listen to my words brother, but what about hers?" Schenizle asked as he connected the line to another part of the fortress.
"Lelouch?!" A girl's voice came through the comm, a voice the three Gundam pilots knew all too well. 'Nunnally?!' All three of them thought. Suzaku's face was one of shock that Nunnally herself was here. Kallen's face held rage, sage that this sweet and innocent girl was being used as a pawn to stop her brother.
But no one matched the expression that Lelouch had on his face. Again, Schneizel had to play his twisted mind games and make Lelouch suffer. And he had to use the people closest to Lelouch to do it. That made his blood boil and his mind filled with making Schneziel suffer.
But now was no time to lose his cool. He needed to focus. He couldn't let Schneizel's mind games confuse him any longer. He had to do this.
"Hello, Nunnally," Lelouch said as calmly as he possibly could.
"Lelouch, Suzaku, why are you doing this?!" Nunnally asked, clearly distressed, and that pained both Lelouch and Suzaku's hearts. "Why are you destroying cities and killing innocent people?! What purpose does this serve what you two want to accomplish?!"
The three of them looked in surprise. "Destroy cities? Nunnally, what are you talking about?!" Suzaku asked. "We haven't killed any innocent people or destroyed any sort of city?"
"I'm talking about Pendragon!" Nunnally shouted, shocking the three of them. What was she talking about? "Why would you destroy it?! Lelouch, why would you destroy our home?! I know you hated it, but that doesn't make it right to destroy the whole city, along with everyone in it?! Are you so blinded by hatred and anger that you don't even feel remorse for all the lives you killed Lelouch?!"
As Suzaku and Kallen remained silent over the statement, they both paid a glance toward the Strike Freedom. Inside the cockpit, Lelouch did nothing. He wasn't trembling or shaking, or even moving at all, one might assume he was dead. Then after a moment, he clenched the controls of the Gundam hard.
"Do you believe that Nunnally?" Lelouch asked in a low voice, the ice in his tone sent shivers down everyone's spines. "Do you honestly believe that I could have caused something like that? And even if I did, not feel remorse or regret for it?!" Lelouch exploded.
Nunnally began to fumble with her words as she tried and failed to react properly to her brother's rage. "I-I… big brother Schneizel said-"
"Schneizel was the one to destroy Pendragon Nunnally!" Lelouch cut her off violently. "He told you lies to have you turn against me and have me doubt myself! I gave you a pass the first time because that's just who Schneizel is. But now! After everything we've been through, you still believe him when he says it was me who killed innocent people!?"
As he heard Nunnally begin to stutter, to try and find a way to refute his claims. "You think I'm probably blinded by anger and hate, but for the first time in my life for a long time, I can finally see clearly! I know what I have to do to change the world! And I'm willing to do it, no matter who stands in my way! Even you!"
As Lelouch took deep breaths in and out, feeling slightly exhausted, he was surprised by what he felt. He thought he would feel guilty and ashamed for the words and tone he used against Nunnally like he always did when something like this happened, which it rarely did. But instead, he felt light, free, like some dark pit in his stomach was finally lifted.
That's when he realized. While he did love and care about Nunnally, as he always will, he now came to realize that he didn't need her as an excuse to live anymore. He didn't need her to be his anchor to life as she had been before. He had already forged his own anchor in his mission to change the world not only for her but for everyone that wanted a future.
He'd finally had moved on from needing Nunnally.
As he calmed down some more, Nunnally spoke back into the comm. "Then I have no choice as well," Nunnally said in a somber tone as Lelouch looked back up in surprise to see it was her that was holding the trigger to launch a F.L.E.I.J.A. warhead. "To bring to pass the world I want, I have no choice but to stop you here and now Lelouch."
She expected Lelouch to be angry or disappointed, but instead, he looked almost pleased. "I'm glad Nunnally." his words shocked all those listening in. "I'm glad, not that your my enemy, or that you wish to kill me, but rather, you have the will to. You truly have grown up faster than I could have thought. And as your big brother, I can't help but be proud of you. Goodbye Nunnally. I hope you understand why I'm doing this."
He then closed down the comms and took a shaky deep breath. That was hard but necessary. He had to first break with the past if he was going to change the world. And that meant breaking whatever it was that stopped him from going against Nunnally.
But that doesn't mean he wasn't furious. Though it wasn't entirely aimed at Nunnally. More toward Schneizel than anything else. Again, he had used his sister as a way to stop him or weaken him. But the only thing Schneizel succeeded with such action was making Lelouch very angry!
He then decided right then and there that he was going to kill Schneizel.
"Well, I must admit that I didn't see that coming," Schneizel confessed as he took a deep breath. He thought by having Nunnally here and threaten to kill him was finally going to be the thing that stopped Lelouch. But again the boy surprised him. Maybe he truly has changed after all?
Regardless, nothing changed in terms of this moment. He then turned on the intercom to the whole fleet.
"Attention soldiers of Britannia and the Black Knights! The pilots of the Gundams have refused to give into us and instead only wish to cause more chaos and destruction. And so we shall gift them their own destruction. All units, launch intercepting missiles, and deploy all Knightmares immediately!"
(Meteor by T.M. Revolution)
The orders were carried out and immediately all the compartments on the float ships opened up and launched a barrage of missiles aimed straight toward the three Gundams. As Knightmares began to pour out of the ships, some of them even began to fire off missiles of their own.
"Suzaku!"
"Right!"
Immediately, the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice blasted forward to meet the missiles, the Strike Freedom also deploying it's eight DRAGOON pods from their holders. They then brought up their Multi-Lock-on targeting computer and began aiming at the hundreds of missiles coming their way.
Then, when the computer finished locking on, the two Gundams brought up the METEORs beam cannons, opened up the missile compartments, and fired in full burst mode at the incoming missiles.
The beams and missiles connected with the incoming explosives and destroyed them. It managed to score a hit on numerous Knightmares that had fired and were preparing to fire, along with the missile launchers from the float ships that fired on them. Float ships and Knightmares attempted to maneuver out of the way of the blasts, while most were lucky, some were not. One float ship went down because too many beams made contact with it.
However, the Avalon and the Damocles, thanks to it's Blaze Luminous system, was able to deflect the beams and protect themselves. And the Ikaruga stayed strong with its own shielding. Though the power behind the attack did do a number on the shield's power levels.
Inside the Damocles, the structure shook violently. Schneizle merely braced him himself by holding tight to his throne as he waited for the shaking to eventually stop, which thankfully it did. When he composed himself he then asked for a status update.
"We've lost one float ship! 60% of missile launchers on our remaining ships have either been badly damaged or destroyed. A majority of our long-range Knightmares have also been destroyed or neutralized."
'He's been busy.' Schneizel thought to himself. 'No matter.'
"Have our knightmares forces switch to close-quarters combat. These machines excel at long range, so we must close the gap and put them in a corner." Schneizel ordered the crew began to carry his order out.
"Looks like they're not gonna wait around to get shot at anymore!" Suzaku commented as he saw the army of Knightmares closing in on them.
"Well we're not gonna just gonna wait here for them to come to us now are we?" Kallen asked, smirking as she looked toward the Strike Freedom.
Inside its cockpit, Lelocuh couldn't help but smirk in agreement. "No, we are not. Let's meet them first!" Lelocuh declared as he blasted off to meet the army of Knightmares with the Infinite Justice and the Destiny, having activated its "Voiture Luminaire'' propulsion system, following closely behind.
"Have our units get in close! There's no way those two Gundams can take close-quarters combat with those machines attached!" Ohgi ordered.
However, he was soon proven wrong as suddenly the Infinite Justice ignited a large beam saber from one of the cannons on the METEOR and used it to slice a row of Knightmares apart in one sweep.
Ohgi could only look in shock at the power behind those machines before gritting his teeth in frustration.
Lelouch followed Suzaku's attack by igniting his own beam swords on the METEOR's cannons. He then used them to slice apart sections of a float ship and cause it to fall to the ground below.
Across the battlefield, Kallen came across a squadron of Black Knight Knightmares, their weapons trained on her as they began firing. Thanks to the performance of the Destiny, and Kallen's piloting skills, she easily dodged all the attacks and closed the distance between her and them. Kallen had to admit, while the Guren was always an amazing machine, this Gundam was something else.
She pulled out the beam sword and used the blade to cut several Knightmares down, some she sliced right down the middle, both vertical and horizontal. It was like a knife through hot butter, even an MVS could never cut a Knightmare this easily.
A Knightmare then flew down and tried to get a surprise attack on her, but Kallen had already grabbed the attacking Knightmare by the head. She then activated the Destiny's hand cannon and just like with the Guren's radiant wave surger the machine burst out in a brilliant explosion.
Kallen looked down. These were people who she had fought and struggled with for years against the oppressive forces of Britannia, and she had just killed them without a hint of hesitation. While she did feel slight guilt about the actions, she wouldn't let it stop her from helping Lelouch and Suzaku change the world.
So she reactivated the Wings of Light and blasted off to meet more enemy Knightmares.
Meanwhile, the Infinite Justice flew in close to a float ship and activated the METEOR's beam sword, and dragged the blade across the flying ship. Explosions were following his cut line as Suzaku continued down the ship. He pulled the deactivate the beam and blasted off out of range of the float ship as it ignited into a glorious explosion.
A warning signal went off in their cockpits as they turned to see a few dozen more Knightmares approaching. Among the flock of machines were an upgraded model of the Tristian, the Tristian Divider, the Mordred, the Zanguetsu, and the Akatsuki model Ciba piloted. The Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice were about to engage when the Destiny flew in front of them.
"You two take care of the float ships and mooks. I'll handle these guys!" Kallen declared as she pulled out her beam rifle.
"Are you sure Kallen?" Lelouch asked, concerned for her safety.
In response, the Destiny looked back at the Strike Freedom and appeared as if it was challenging it. "Who do you take me for Lelouch?! Do you think I can't handle them on my own?! Because I'm a newbie at piloting a Gundam?! Or is it because I'm a girl?!"
Lelouch began frantically stuttering to try and save himself from her accusations. However, in the cockpit of the Destiny, Kallen smiled softly. "But still, it means a lot that you care. Thank you, Lelouch." She said with a warm smile. She then gave a devious smirk. "Besides, I've been wanting to kick Gino's tailpipe for a long time!"
Lelouch could only look to the Gundam in bewilderment before he smiled as well. "Give Em trouble Kallen!" Lelouch declared as he and Suzaku blasted off to meet more Knightmares. Kallen turned the Destiny back to the four Knightmare aces and activated the Wings of Light and blasted off to meet her targets.
"I wouldn't worry too much about her. She can handle herself in a Knightmare just fine. So I wouldn't be afraid of her in a Gundam. Trust me, I know." Suzaku assured Lelouch.
"You're telling me?!" Lelouch said with a chuckle. "I actually almost feel bad for anyone who goes up against her. Almost."
"It's the Gundams! The Strike Freedom and the Infinite Justice! They're closing in on the Ikaruga! Cornol Tohdoh is following behind."
Ohgi gritted his teeth in frustration. "Get our shields up at full power. And rearrange the Knightmare squadrons to act as a defense for the Ikaruga!" Ohgi ordered. They moved to carry out his orders when he turned to the radar chief. "Where's the third Gundam?"
"It's currently engaged with Captain Chiba, along with the Knights of Three and Six."
Ohgi looked toward the battle between the new Gundam and the four aces. This battle could go any way. On one hand, this Gundam was never seen before, so that meant that the pilot was a newbie and therefore had trouble controlling and piloting it. On the other hand, the fact that it was never seen before meant they didn't know the full capabilities of the machine nor could they find an effective way to counter it. And judging by what he's seen so far, it seems that the pilot of that machine was no rookie in terms of piloting a mech in of itself.
He then turned toward their resident Knightmare specialist. "Are you sure the upgrades you made will be able to take down those machines?" He asked.
The Indian woman turned toward the Commander with her signature pipe hanging from her mouth. "I never said that they would destroy the machines." Rakashta corrected. "I said that by applying the Galahad's Excalibur class MVS to the Tristian, it would be able to affect that fancy armor of the Gundams. Whether if the Gundam is destroyed or not depends on the pilot that uses them."
Ohgi turned away from the engineer back toward the battlefield, specifically toward the Strike Freedom. As he saw that machine destroy another Knightmare squadron, he couldn't stop the white-hot fury he had as he glared at that machine and its pilot.
He was willing to let the boy be. So long as he never bothered the Black Knights again nor tried to stop them, he was willing to just let the boy go. But no, he had to take Kallen away from them. She was foolish enough to believe in him and that got her captured. Once this little resistance he put up was done with, he would personally beat Lelouch into telling him what he did to Kallen.
And then he'd kill him. With his bare hands.
As the Mordred fired off multiple hadron beams towards the Destiny, it simply avoided the beams and brought up its beam shield to block the ones it couldn't dodge. Anya then brought the four hadron cannons together to form the Stark Hadron Cannon. After a moment of charging up the beam, she fired a massive streak of red energy toward the Destiny. In response, the red and blue Gundam brought up its beam cannon, aimed, and fired the beam. The two beams met together and canceled each other out in a brilliant flash of light. The resulting explosion caused the area to be enveloped with smoke that blinded the Mordred and its sensors.
Anya tried to back away from the smoke, but her Knightmare's warning signals went off. Out from the smoke emerged the Destiny, brandishing it's beam sword high and bringing it down with the intent to cut the Mordred in two. Anya responded by activating the Blaze Luminous system and blocked the sword strike. However, the power and strength behind the blade were too strong, after moments of struggling, the beam sword broke through the shielding. Thanks to her piloting skills, Anya was able to avoid getting bisected. However, the sword strike did leave its share of damage as was evident by the large cut on her Knightmare frame's chest rendering the Stark Hadron Cannon and the Blaze Luminous system useless.
The Destiny was preparing to follow up the attack when the Tristian Divider came and blocked the beam sword with its own two new Excalibur class MVS swords. The two machines struggled as Gino opened up a comm channel with his comrade. "You okay there Anya?" He asked.
"My Knightmare's sustained heavy damage. The Blaze Luminous and Stark Hadron Cannon are offline. But I'm okay. Just a little surprised." Anya reported with a small smile on her face, grateful for Gino's concern.
"Tell me about it!" Gino said excitedly as he turned back to face the Gundam he locked swords with. "This Gundam is awesome! But I won't let it beat me that easy!" He declared as he somehow managed to push the Gundam back and charge as the Destiny pulled out a physical shield.
The Gundam and Knightmare clashed their blades against each other, striking and blocking each other's strikes with their swords (and shield and in the Destiny's case). At a couple of points, the Tristian managed to deliver a couple of strikes on the Gundam's hull. While it didn't sever any limbs, it did leave noticeable cuts in the armored hull.
"Ha! Maybe you're not as good as I thought you were!" Gino mocked as he then charged the Gundam again. However, the Destiny then cut its engines and dropped to avoid the attack. Gino was shocked by the sudden maneuver that he was unprepared for the Destiny to deliver a roundhouse kick from below and knocked him back to the side. Maybe he began to underestimate how skilled this pilot was.
The Destiny was about to charge when several missiles launched from the Akatsuki model. Using the CWIS on its head, it was able to make quick work of the missiles. However, that was the opening the Akatsuki needed to get in close and attack with her revolving blade sword. But the Destiny was able to bring it's shield up and block the attack.
The two machines were locked and both refused to give.
"I don't know who you are and I don't care!" Chiba declared as she put more power into her attack. "But your standing in the way of Japan's freedom, so I will do what it takes to make sure you and your master, that treacherous Lelouch, dies!"
She didn't expect the pilot to respond to her, nor did she expect the voice on the other end. "'Japan's freedom' to be honest, I'm tired of that excuse."
Chiba gasped at the voice on the other line. No! It couldn't be! "Ka-Kallen?"
"Hello, Chiba." Kallen greeted coldly.
"Wh-what are you doing here?! Are you under Lelouch's spell of Geass?"
Kallen shook her head. "No my choice is and it has always been, my own."
Chiba didn't quite buy that, however, her shock quickly turning into anger. "Are you betraying us?! All that you've fought and suffered for?! FOR HIM?!" She demanded.
Kallen was silent for a long moment before she answered., "Yes."
"Why?!" Chiba demanded to know as she broke the lock and continued to slash wildly with her blade. "Why are you doing this, after all, he's done to us! Do you know what kind of man he really is?!"
"I know exactly who he is!" Kallen declared as she continued to block her attacks with ease. "He's the man who had given me hope when I thought it left me! He's the one that taught me the importance of my family when I was ready to abandon them. He's the one who gave me my life back!" With her statement, she knocked away the Akatsuki model.
"So from now on," Kallen began, "I… I will live my life for the man I love!" She then brandished her beam sword and held it strong. "This betrayal is love!"
Chiba just looked in shock as she heard the words come from her mouth. Did she hear that right? Kallen was… in love? With him?!
"Your willing to take that demon's side?!" Chiba asked in shock.
"That's right!" Kallen declared as she readied her beam sword and activated The Destiny's Wings of Light.
Chiba just gripped the controls of her Knightmare tightly in anger. "Well, then I have no choice but to stop you and then kill him." Chiba declared as she charged after the Gundam. She brought her sword up.
But what was one the Destiny was now a veil of thin air as she slashed down? She looked in shock. How could that be, the Destiny was right here?! She turned around to see the Destiny, (or Destinys?) flying in an erratic pattern. She brought up her wrist radiant missiles and tried to get a lock on the Gundam, however, the multiple Gundams kept her from getting a lock on the real one.
This was due to the Destiny's Mirage Colloid System that left multiple after images when Kallen deployed the Wings of Light. Chiba gritted her teeth in frustration that she couldn't get a proper lock on the Gundam, so she just decided to fire away.
However, the missiles never made it to their target, and Chiba gasped as she was suddenly caught off guard when the Destiny appeared right in front of her. It then placed it's open palm just a meter away from her Akatsuki's chest and activated the Hand Cannon. The chest of the Knightmare exploded and fell to the ground below.
Though Kallen was slightly relieved that she didn't kill Chiba. While she was angered at what the older woman said both about her being a traitor and Lelouch, she still was her long time ally, and she was also someone who fought for love, she could tell.
She was pulled out of her thoughts when the Mordred fired off its missiles at full salvo toward the Destiny. However, reactivating the Wings of Light, Kallen was able to easily dodge the attack and leave a trail of mirages that confused the Knight of Round's targeting system, or what was left of it. She put away the beam sword and then reached across her shoulders and gripped the beam boomerangs on the Gundam's shoulders and threw them toward the red Knightmare. The beam weapons sliced off the Mordred's metallic arms before coming back around and slicing off the legs. Now limbless, the Mordred was defenseless when the Destiny came in and delivered a hard kick to the frame that knocked back.
The Tristian Divider then came in and slashed at the Destiny, but the Gundam merely avoid the slash leaving behind an afterimage the Tristian slashed at. The Knightmare kept slashing but was continually met with the after-images as it kept turning and rotating to try and get a good hit on the Knightmare. Then suddenly, the Destiny vanished.
Gino looked around the area to try and find it, but it disappeared. "Where'd it go?!" Gino asked frantically as he looked around.
"Behind you." Came Kallen's voice.
In response, Gino turned…
… Only to have the Tristian Divider be divided in two as the Destiny slashed the midsection of the Knightmare separating its upper body from the lower half. Kallen watched as the Tristian struggled to remain in the air after that. Though she would have liked to maybe kill him for his obnoxious attempts to woo her, he did keep her moderately safe when she was a prisoner of Britannia, so the least she could do it pay him back for that. So long as he didn't attempt to flirt with her again.
She then turned the Destiny toward the battle that was still raging and then blasted off to join it.
Ohgi's blood was cold. It couldn't be true, it just couldn't be true. But with the report from Chiba in the audio file she sent over, there was no denying it.
Kallen was alive. She was here. And she was fighting them. For him.
He tried to come up with a reason. She was under Geass. He was threatening her. She was conning him for a chance to betray him. Something! But no matter what the reason he made up, he couldn't find an explanation that felt true or just stuck with him.
Kallen was now an enemy of the Black Knights and the UFN. And he had to treat her like one.
As the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice flew throughout the battlefield, they were met with much resistance, but with the two pilots working together, they had everything under control. But that didn't necessarily make it any easier than it was. They had just finished off a couple of dozen Knightmare when they saw two familiar Knightmares approach them.
The Lancelot Albion and the Zangetsu.
"Suzaku Kurururgi! Lelouch Lamperouge!" Knight of Nine Nonnette Enneagram announced to the two Gundam pilots. "You will not go any further!" She declared as the Lancelot drew the Super V.A.R.I.S. rifles.
Lelouch gritted his teeth but was surprised when the Infinite Justice got in front of him and detached itself from the METEOR. "Suzaku?! What are you doing?!" He asked.
"You go on ahead, I'll take care of this!" Suzaku declared as he brought his beam sabers together and formed a double-bladed beam saber and activated his shield. "Besides," He then glanced toward the Zangetsu. "I have a feeling Sensi wants to talk with me."
Lelouch was hesitant for a moment but then decided that this fight was personal for Suzaku. He was going up against both his former teacher and the former machine he piloted when he was a soldier of Britannia. It was almost like he was burning both parts of his past so he could move forward. Good for him.
"Very well. I'll leave it to you then." Lelouch declared as he maneuvered around Suzaku and flew off to get to the Damocles. The Lancelot Albion tried to aim at him but a beam boomerang in the shape of a shield flew toward her forcing her to dodge. She turned and saw the shield return to the owner.
"Your fight's with me!" Suzaku declared as he blasted off to meet his opponents. The Lancelot Albion fired all of it's slash harkens toward the Gundam, but the Infinite Justice separated the Fatum flyer unit to dodge half of the harkens. The Fatum then flew to meet the Lancelot with its wing beam blades activated. The Lancelot was able to dodge the attack but the blades managed to slice across the armor, leaving a noticeable cut. Nonnette groaned and flew to engage the flyer.
Meanwhile, the Infinite Justice's beam saber clashed with the Zangetsu's brake sword repeatedly. The two warriors came to a blade lock, with neither side showing signs of giving in. The Zangetsu made the first move but fired it's shoulder-mounted turrets at the Gundam, forcing it to back away as the bullets came raining down. The Infinite Justice was able to counter using its head and chest CIWS and was able to destroy the Zangetsu's turrets.
"I must admit you baffle me Suzaku," Tohdoh said as He maneuvered around the bullets from the Gundam's head and chest CIWS. "You've spent the past year and ore trying to eliminate Lelouch from this world and change Britannia. And now here you stand, fighting bedside him against Britannia. Have you forgotten and forgiven him for what he did to our people and Euphemia?!"
In response, the Infinite Justice ceased firing and moved to close the distance between it and the Zangetsu. When it got close, it performed a spinning kick with the beam blades activated on its legs. The Zangetsu was able to bring up its Radiant Wave Shielding, but force and power behind the kick were able to knock the Knightmare back, leaving a visible slash on the hull. Tohdoh was able to regain his balance, only for him to barely block the Infinite Justice's vertical slash with both its beam sabers with a horizontal block.
"I haven't forgotten what happened, not have I forgiven him for what he did!" Suzaku declared as he pushed down harder on the controls while clenching his fists. But then, his grip and features softened. "But now I know the truth behind the incident. I now know truly what happened that day, and why he had to kill Euphie. Do I agree with what he did, absolutely not! But I also can't hate him completely since he already hates himself for it, too much. And besides, there's a greater evil in this world and a more important matter than what happened between me and Lelouch. So I'll fight with him, and against any forces, that stand in our way. Even you!"
With that, he broke the lock and slashed at the Zangetsu, but the Knightmare was able to dash out of the slash, however, the beam saber did slash off a large chunk of the red hair-like attachment. The Infinite Justice then combined its beam sabers, activated a beam shield on its left arm, and charged the black Knightmare.
All the while, Tohdoh couldn't help but look slightly hesitant to continue this fight with his former student and former leader. While he did still hold much contempt for both betrayals, he couldn't help but agree with his student over certain aspects. Such as this great evil that those two claim to be fighting. He had sensed it for a while now, and he had a pretty good idea of who this evil was. But he had to be certain before he moved against this threat, or he could be eliminating the only alley they had against Lelouch and Suzaku.
As he flew around the armies and float ships, Lelouch had picked up three new signals approaching him. Three familiar signals. Lelouch couldn't help but groan as he rubbed his hand down his face. "Oh no! Not these three again." He groaned.
He looked up to see three familiar Knightmare frames: the Duel, the Buster, and the Blitz, piloted by the Knights of two, five, and eight respectively.
"Bet you didn't expect to see us again, didn't you?!" Yzak taunted from inside his Knightmare.
Lelouch pinched the bridge of his nose as he signed in frustration. "I don't have time for this." He muttered under his breath as he gripped the controls again.
Yzak heard that and it set him off. "What was that!" He declared as he drew his duel MVS and charged the Gundam, forgetting what happened in his last two encounters with the machine.
However, before he could reach the machine, a pair of blue energy daggers flew in his path stopping him in his tracks. "What the-!" He shouted before turning to the source.
There was the Knightmare frame that he confronted in the E.U., the Alexander. However, this Knightmare had an addition to it, a set of blue energy wings, similar to the Lancelot Albion, and the Guren S.E.T.I.N. Eight Elements energy wings. Behind it, approaching the battlefield was several float ships, all with the E.U. 's signature colors.
Lelouch was surprised to see the E.U. here. The pilot opened a comm channel to the Strike Freedom that Lelouch accepted.
"Lelouch Lamperouge, pilot of the Strike Freedom Gundam," The pilot began, "This is Major Akito Hyuga, pilot of the Alexander Freedom. As of this moment, the E.U. is assisting you and your comrades in dealing with the Britannian Empire and the Black Knights. Consider us even for helping you out now."
Lelouch was shocked to see the E.U. come to his aid. But he sure wasn't going to complain. "I thank you for the help, Major Hyuga. And if we win this battle, we shall be even with one another." Lelouch said.
"Excellent! Now, go continue with your objective!" Akito ordered as he then turned to face the three rounds before him. "I'll handle these three. Besides," his eyes narrowed as he glared at the three, "I owe them some payback for what happened in Europe."
Lelouch chuckled. "Very well. I'll leaven them to you, Major!" Lelouch declared as he then flew past them and continued toward the Damocles.
"Oh no, you don't!" Dearka declared as he aimed the Busters long-range rifle at the back of the Strike Freedom. However, he was stopped when more blue daggers flew his way, forcing him to barely dodge. He looked over to see the Alexander Freedom charging at him.
"Your fight's with me!" Akito declared as his eyes herald red iris around them.
"I must say, I'm quite proud of what I accomplished with the Alexander Freedom." Lloyd Aspune declared as he looked from the view screen on the bridge of the command float ship he and Cecile were on. "That Knightmare is equipped with the perfected energy wing system, and while I would have wanted to apply such a thing to my Lancelot, I'm happy that this machine came to my grasp."
"Well, we're grateful that you agreed to give us such technology anyway Earl Aspune," Leila said as looked toward the energetic Knightmare engineer and his assistant that showed up on the E.U. 's doorstep about a month ago.
"Well we're just grateful that you let us join," Cecile said gratefully as she bowed again in thanks. "After all we've done to you, we couldn't be more grateful that you agreed to help us."
"Well…" Lloyd began with a devious smile on his face. "A way how you could show your gratitude to us for upgrading your Knightmares would be allowing me to dig into any little secrets you may be developing. Hehehe!" He chuckled like a little child only for Cecile to smack him on the backside of the head.
Schneizel frowned at this. The E.U. was getting in the way. He hadn't expected this outcome. He thought by placing a target on Lelouch's back, that would mean the whole world would turn against him. But it seems he underestimated Lelouch's ability to inspire loyalty, even without Geass.
No matter, he would just have to play his cards a little bit sooner. He flipped on a comm channel that connected to the castle on top of the Damocles where Nunnally was. "Nunnally, prepare to open fire."
"Yes, brother Schneizel." Came Nunnally's reply.
"Have, the F.L.E.I.J.A. cannon be ready to fire, aim toward those E.U. float ships," Schneizel ordered the targeting officer.
"Yes, Your Highness!" The officer said as he imported the coordinates into the targeting computer.
Schneizel then turned back toward the battle, or more specifically, the machine that his brother was currently piloting. Schneizel couldn't help smile at the irony of this situation. Lelouch spent so long fighting for Nunnally, and it is by her hand that he'll fall.
The warning sensors on the Strike Freedom went off, forcing Lelouch to put the brakes on the Gundam as he looked toward the source. The Damocles opened up it's shielding on the lower side and a cannon was currently being aimed toward the E.U. 's float ships.
A pit formed in Lelouch's stomach as he knew what was coming. He then quickly established contact with the E.U. flagship. "General Malcal! Get out of there! Schneizel's firing a F.L.E.I.J.A. warhead!"
"With this, I'll whip the sins of my brother from this world," Nunnally said as she pushed the button.
Below, a warhead fired and was aimed directly at the E.U. flagship.
Leila's eyes widened as he heard the words from the Gundam pilot's mouth and saw the warhead approaching. "Evasive maneuvers! Everyone brace!" She ordered as she herself went to grip something to keep her steady as the ship started shaking violently as it tried to avoid the incoming warhead.
The warhead passed them and continued, but then exploded in a ball of pink energy.
"Full power to thrusters! Get us out of here!" Leila ordered. The float ship hauled to get out of range of the ever-expanding ball of energy. The sphere was quickly gaining on them, just on their tail. Leila closed her eyes and sent a silent prayer to make it out of this.
Finally, the sphere of energy dissipated and the float ship was safely out of its range. Leila sighed n relief and thanked the man upstairs for the help. "Report! What is our status!?" She asked.
"We've lost about two of our cruisers General. Our forces are down 30 percent. However, the flagship is holding up, however, that maneuver did do a number on our engines, we can't pull something like that again."
Leila gritted her teeth. If Schneizel decided to fire another F.L.E.I.J.A. they were finished. "Lamperouge!" She contacted the Gundam pilot. "We can't take another hit like that, you must eliminate the cannon!"
"Easier said than done!" Lelouch muttered as he dodged another direct attack and used the METEORs beam sword to slice the Knightmare in half. The attack by the Damocles seems to have bolstered morale with the Britannians, they were becoming bolder and furious in their attacks. They believed that if they had the F.L.E.I.J.A. they were invincible. So they needed to shatter that myth. But that meant-
His comm flared on and through the other end came Suzaku and Kallen. "You know what we have to do Lelouch." Suzaku said.
Yes. he did know what he had to do. That doesn't mean he was willing to risk it. "We don't even know if it's gonna work," Lelouch argued. "We could very well be sending Kallen off to her death!"
"Lelouch, her being in this fight is practically sending her off to her death." Suzaku countered. "We don't have a choice if we want to stop the advantage Schneizel has."
Lelouch looked down as if contemplating. What Suzaku said was right, they needed to eliminate the advantage of F.L.E.I.J.A. that Schneizel has, and Kallen in the Destiny was the best chance at that. But could he do it? Could he send another person he loved off to her death? Could he even survive it?
His thoughts were interrupted when Kallen spoke up. "Lelouch," she began, her voice soft. He looked up to gaze at her. Her eyes were pleading. "Trust me!" She begged.
As Lelouch heard her plea and her voice, he couldn't help but look down and sigh. "Of course," He began as he looked back up at her with a smile, "I trust you." She and Suzaku both smiled. His eyes then burned with determination as he looked back toward the Damocles. "Now let's get Schenizel's attention!"
"What are our losses from the F.L.E.I.J.A. explosion?" Ohgi asked.
"We've lost about two squadrons of Knightmares from the resulting explosion."
Ohgi gritted his teeth. While he was glad Schneizel was contributing in this fight, he could have provided a little warning before firing a warhead. If they were gonna work together, he had to work with them, not over them.
"Update! The Freedom is making its way toward the Damocles!" Ohgi looked toward the battlefield to indeed see the blue-winged Gundam making it's way through the battlefield toward the Damocles, blasting and slicing through Knightmare after Knightmare. And it was flying very close to the Ikaruga.
"The Damocles is moving its cannon to target the Gundam!" Ohgi looked in shock. If Schneizel fired now with the Strike Freedom that close.
He then activated the comm connecting to the Damocles. "Prince Schenizel! Hold your fire!" Ohgi called into the comm. "If you fire now, you'll not only destroy Lelouch but us as well as your own forces!"
No response.
"Schneizel! Answer me!" Ohgi demanded, only to be met with silence. "Schneizel!"
"Schneizel! Hold your fire! Answer me!" Ohgi's voice came from the speaker located on Schneizel's chair. He merely let him rant for a few more seconds before he cut the line.
Of course, he knew what he was doing, and that was the point. By firing now, he would be able to eliminate both his brother and the command of the Black Knights. Making his victory in this battle assured.
"Once the target is locked, fire a F.L.E.I.J.A. warhead. We'll eliminate our enemies in one stroke." Schneizel said as he held a wicked grin on his face.
The Strike Freedom brought up its DRAGOONS, the METEORs beam cannons, opened it's missile cartridges, and fired in full burst mode, effectively disabling dozens upon dozens of Knightmares. When the beams died down, the Knightmares fell to the ocean below.
That had to be enough to get Schneizel's attention. And he was proven right.
The warning lights went off and he saw the lower part of the shielding open up to reveal the F.L.E.I.J.A. cannon aimed directly at him. "This is it! Everyone brace!" Lelouch ordered through the whole battlefield as he then blasted toward the Damocles.
Schneizel smiled humorously at his brother's reckless action. What had he hoped to do, get close enough so that the explosion would also take out the Damocles as well as himself? While bold thinking and possibly effective it was also foolish.
"Fire now!" Schneizel order and in her sanctuary up in the castle, Nunnally pressed the trigger, knowing it had to be done to cleanse the world of Lelouch's wrongdoings.
A warhead shot out of the Damocles and was on a direct course for the Strike Freedom.
"KALLEN NOW!" Lelouch yelled as he hit the brakes on the Strike Freedom and it pulled back as the Destiny, vaulted over it. Activating it's wings of light, it charged the warhead at full speed!
"WHAT IS SHE DOING?!" Ohgi screamed in shock as he saw the machine caring Kallen make a direct course for the warhead that destroyed the Tokyo Settlement. He clenched his fist in anger as, in his mind's eye, that Lelouch was sacrificing her.
The Destiny reached back across its shoulder and grabbed a Beam Boomerang. However, this boomerang was unlike any other as instead of the familiar purple glow of a handheld beam weapon, it was glowing red.
Kallen hit the brakes on the Destiny as she then threw the specialized beam boomerang toward the warhead! As the boomerang was about to make contact, the Strike Freedom appeared in front of the Destiny from below it and held its hands out wide as if to shield it.
The beam boomerang made contact and the warhead exploded. Lelouch and Kallen closed their eyes, expecting the worst to happen. However, the explosion only grew a few meters before it started collapsing on itself and then disappeared entirely!
"Do it now Kallen!" Lelouch yelled. Wasting no time, Kallen pulled up the Destiny's beam rifle, aimed, and fired through the opening in the Blaze Luminous shield and hit the F.L.E.I.J.A. cannon dead on. The cannon erupted in a brilliant explosion that shook the Damocles.
"It worked!" Lelouch let out a laugh as he turned back to Kallen. 'You did it!" Kallen smiled at Lelouch's praise of her.
Nina let out a breath she had no idea she was holding as she put her hand to her still fast-beating heart. 'It worked! Thank goodness, Princess Euphemia.'
"Damage report! How bad are we?!" Schneizel demanded to know.
"We've sustained minimal damage to the Damocles as a whole and the Blaze Luminous shielding is still as maximum output. However, we've lost the F.L.E.I.J.A. cannon, we cannot fire a F.L.E.I.J.A. warhead."
Schneizel gritted his teeth. 'Well played Lelouch.' He thought to himself as he glared at the Strike Freedom with contempt. 'You knew you would stand little to no chance against this armada and the F.L.E.I.J.A., so you made sure to have a card up your sleeve. I should have killed that Einstein girl when I was done with her. Well played indeed.'
"Prince Schneizel!" An officer stood up and looked toward the Second Prince. "Engineering just reported! They've finished putting the final touches on Project Legend!"
Schenziel couldn't help but turn his frown upside down when he heard the news. While Lelouch had a card or two up his sleeve from time to time, Schenizel always made sure to have his own surprises waiting for Lelouch.
"Excellent news!" Schneizel declared as he rose from his throne seat and made his way out of the throne room. It was time to take a page out of Lelouch's playbook: If a king doesn't lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow.
"The enemy's morale is breaking apart! Press the attack!" Leila ordered.
"Yes ma'am!" Akito said as he pressed his attack on the three rounds before him, his Geass shining brighter.
"Dang! This Eleven scum is just getting better!" Yzak complained as he tried to dodge in the Duel, but the Alexander Freedom was just too fast and ended up slicing off an arm with it's Katana.
The Buster fired a Hadron beam toward the Knightmare, but it brought up its blue energy wings and blocked the attack. It then fired off multiple daggers from its wings that pierced the armor and ended up destroying the main cannon.
The Blitz dropped it's cloaking and fired its large claw harken towards the Alexander. But the Knightmare avoided the attack and sliced off the line before rushing in and delivering a kick toward the stomach of the frame, knocking it back.
"I don't care if we can't use the F.L.E.I.J.A. anymore. I still won't let you win!" Nonnette declared as she charged the Infinite Justice with both it's MVS. However, she was knocked off course by a familiar black Knightmare frame with a red hairlike fabric.
"Sensi?!" Suzaku said in shock to see the teacher he was fighting only a second ago come to his aid.
"I do not know the full story Suzaku." Tohdoh began. "But I know that if Kozuki hadn't stopped that warhead, a majority of the Black Knights would have died with her and Lelouch. While I am no fan of Lelouch, I see that you and he are working together to stop a truly evil source. And so, I will fight with you to stop it. Now go and join Lelouch and Kozuki to stop him."
Suzaku held a grateful smile in his face. "Thank you, Sensi. But what about you, can you handle this on your own?" Suzaku asked with concern.
Tohdoh merely smirked. "Do not fret my former pupil. While Lady Enneagram is an impressive Knightmare pilot, she certainly isn't you." He said as he clashed his blade with the Lancelot Albion's.
Kallen and Lelouch fought back to back against a swarm of Knightmares surrounding them, yet they were so many that Lelouch couldn't take them all out without accidentally hitting Kallen.
Then, Knightmare bullets rained down upon the frames surrounding them, destroying them. Lelouch and Kallen looked up to see a familiar Knightmare leading the charge against the enemy frames, and it surprised Lelouch greatly.
"Cornelia?" Lelouch asked as he opened a channel toward the leading frame. The Knightmare stopped in front of the Gundam.
"Hello, Lelouch." The former Witch of Britannia greeted as the battle raged around them.
"What are you doing here?!" Lelouch asked.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to stop Schneizel from insinuating his insane plan. Same as you." She told her little brother, before glaring. "Just know that I haven't forgiven you for what you did. But I am willing to work with you to stop our insane brother and rescue Nunnally from his lies. Agreed?"
Lelouch contemplated for a small second before saying. "Agreed!" They then went off to engage more enemy frames.
Ohgi was clenching his fist in anger at the developments. Tohdoh had turned on them and was fighting with Lelouch, other Black knights were following his example and fighting the Britannians while others were undecided about what to do.
It made Ohgi's blood boil to see that the most loyal to the Black Knights suddenly betrayed them, betrayed him. To go join that monster Lelouch, who had stolen Kallen away from him!
'What's wrong with all of them?!' Ohgi screamed in his mind. 'Why are they doing this?! DON'T THEY SEE THAT I'M DOING THIS FOR THE GOOD OF JAPAN?!'
After changing into a pilot suit, a white and gold one, Schneizle sat in the cockpit of his new machine. He was rather pleased with the outcome of this machine. As he had personally seen over the creation of it, deciding what to include and what to focus on. After all, this was meant to be his, and he was going to use it to destroy Lelouch and his precious Gundam.
"Our collision is now unavoidable Lelouch," Schneizel said to himself as he then finished activating all the systems to the machine. The lights in the specialized hangar glow green for launch.
He smiled wickedly as he then declared. "Schneizel el Britannia. Legend. Launching!"
ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam
As the first Gundam developed and manufactured by the Holy Britannian Empire, the ZGMF-X666S Legend Gundam is outfitted with the most advanced technology currently developed. Developed using schematics stolen from the Strike Freedom, the Legend was specifically built to destroy the Strike Freedom. It has its own DRAGOON system that has been enhanced from the Strike Freedom's design, it now puts less strain on the pilot's mental energy, allowing them to control it and the Gundam itself more fluidly. However, it lacks the Strike Freedom's superior speed, yet makes up for it in more armor.
Design
Classification: Custom Assult Type Humanoid Mech
Module Number: ZGMF-X666S
Height: 5.2 meters
Weight: 8.6 tons
Power Source: F.L.E.I.J.A. Reactor
Armor Material: Variable Phase Shift Armor
Operating System: Generation Unsubdued Nuclear-Sakuradite Drive Assult Mode Complex
Crew: Pilot only (in the cockpit in torso)
Armaments
DRAGOON System (DRAGOONs): Like the Strike Freedom, the main armament of the Legend is the DRAGOON System. Legend's DRAGOON System is an enhanced version of that used by the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom, causing less of a mental strain to be put onto the pilot due to the use of an improved quantum communication system among other modifications made by Britannia's R&D, and is now enhanced with easier controls. The Legend has 10 DRAGOON pods mounted on its backpack and waist, with a total of 26 beam guns. The backpack can swivel up and down, while the DRAGOON pods mounted on it can swivel front and back, all these allows the DRAGOON Pods to concentrate their firepower in various directions without disconnecting.
GDU-X7 Mobile Beam Assault Cannon (Large DRAGOON Pods): The large DRAGOON pods mounted on the top of the backpack. Each GDU-X7 mobile beam assault cannon is armed with four beam spikes and five beam guns.
GDU-X5 Mobile Beam Assault Cannon (Small DRAGOON Pods): The small DRAGOON pods mounted on the backpack and waist. Each GDU-X5 mobile beam assault cannon has two beam guns.
MA-BAR78F High-Energy Beam Rifle (Beam Rifle): A hand-held beam rifle. It has a high power level and rate of fire thanks to its F.L.E.I.J.A. Reactor Engine. The beam rifle can be mounted on the backpack when not in use.
MMI-GAU26 17.5mm CIWS (CIWS): Mounted in the head, the pair of CIWS are unable to damage PS armor, but are suitable for anti-personnel use and to intercept missiles, enemy units, etc.
MA-M80S "Defiant Kai" Beam Javelins (Beam Javelins): For close combat, the Legend has two MA-M80S "Defiant Kai" beam javelins, which are similar in function and appearance to beam sabers. Each leg stores one javelin in the outer side and the two can be combined to form a double-bladed weapon.
MX2351 "Solidus Fulgor" Beam Shield Generator (Beam Shield) Like the Destiny Gundam, the Legend Gundam is equipped with two MX2351 "Solidus Fulgor" beam shield generators, with one generator on the back of each hand. These generators generate powerful beam shields that can block both physical and beam attacks.
Special Systems and Features
F.L.E.I.J.A. Reactor Engine: The Legend is powered by a F.L.E.I.J.A. engine, a hybrid of a nuclear reactor with Sakuradite mixed in it. This meant that the suit is nuclear powered.
Operating System: The Legend uses the Generation Unsubdued Nuclear-Sakuradite Drive Assult Mode Complex as the operating system.
Variable Phase Shift Armor: The VPS armor is capable of automatically changing its strength, as well as color and power consumption in the field, although this must be programmed beforehand.
A/N: Sorry it took so long. I've been busy with school and reading other people's fanfiction (I enjoy reading as much as writing). Hope you all enjoyed the battle! I certainly did enjoy writing it. But the next chapter is the chapter I've been waiting to write for a long time.
Also, I named the upgrade for the Alexander, the Alexander Freedom because I thought in a way it could honor the Strike Freedom for saving their lives in Chapter 2. What do you think? And yes Lloyd and Cecile went to the E.U. for shelter. Mainly because that was the place where another advanced Knightmare was and I wanted to give Akito an upgrade.
I'm so excited about this story, I got three chapters left in this story. So far Code Gundam: Meister of the Rebellion is in the lead in the polls for the next story I'm going to work on, my selection titled 'Another Story' is in second while Code Gundam Unicorn of the Rebellion and Trials of the Bat are tied for third. So if any of you want to see Trials of the Bat (My Rise of the Bat Sequel), Code Gundam: Unicorn of the Rebellion (My Unicorn Gundam take on this story), or another story.
The other story I'm planning on working on is a Max Steel and Code Geass crossover. Mainly Lelouch and Steel team up, and it will start from the beginning of Code Geass than from a certain point as my other stories did. I won't give any more details than that. I'm planning on working with another author named 'brave kid'. I'm personally thinking of calling it Code Steel: Lelouch of the Rebellion, I think that's a good title, or maybe something similar. If you want that story or any of my other selections, then let me know in the polls on my profile page, I won't accept votes posted in the review section unless their by 'Guest' that don't have their own profiles.
Next chapter: Lelouch and Schneizel engage in a heated, no-holds-barred, one-on-one battle while Kallen and Suzaku break into the Damocles. However, a tragic loss is in store for our heroes that will change their lives forever!
Stay safe out there and Happy Thanksgiving.
Also as part of this challenge from my church, I would like to give thanks for supporting me and my stories, as well for your ideas and positive reviews. Thank you! #givethanks
