Theme song:

Always picking up the slack

with everything in my backpack,

just to reach the bathroom all fine.

Leaping over laundry piles,

diapers you can smell from miles,

guys gotta do what he can to survive

With Murphy's law, With Murphy's law

Duck, dodge, push and dive.

This is how we stay alive

With Murphy's law, With Murphy's law

To make sure that nobody dies.

We're all living a crazy life.

Mur-Phy's Law! Murphy's Law!

(Poo-poo)

Lincoln was playing a vr game where you have to dodge zombies to win. Thankfully, Lincoln was good at dodging, or stepping to the side before things could hit him. He had done it everyday when dodging a safe, a toilet and a kite so he was pretty amazing at the game. He walked out of his room and into the hallway. He stepped to the left to dodge a zombie in game and coincidentally he dodged the twin's bedroom door which fell off it's hinges and to the floor. He eventually turned and walked forward before he heard the voice of his eldest sibling.

"Lincoln Murphy Loud!" Lori yelled as he took off his goggles to find that he was in her room, and she was giving him a stare that could scare the Grimm reaper to death. But Lincoln remained unfazed by this and still kept his smile.

"Hey Lori Murphy Loud." Lincoln said as Lori broke her angry glance and gave him a look of confusion.

"What? I thought we were using our full names" Lincoln said confused before Lori resumed her anger.

"Lincoln, what's the number one rule of this house?" Lori asked as she pinched the end of her nose in frustration.

"Whatever is broken must be fixed?" Lincoln asked.

"Okay you're right. That is the first rule. But the second rule is stay out of my room!" Lori said before she shoved Lincoln out of her room and slammed the door. Lincoln inhaled deeply before exhaling slowly, trying to vent out a bit of frustration.

"Whatever. Today is gonna be exceptional." Lincoln said as he put on his smile again as he went back to playing his game while going to the bathroom.

"Zombies don't need to see this" Lincoln said as he took off his goggles and put them on the bathroom sink. He was about to use it before he heard a knock on the door.

"Occupied" Lincoln said to whoever was on the other side of the door, but he was just greeted with louder knocking. Lincoln's smile faltered for a bit before he went to answer the door. He opened it to see that Lori was on her phone.

"Bobby, you'll never guess what Whitney said to me today" Lori said, not even noticing Lincoln.

"Lori!" Lincoln yelled, but Lori didn't pay attention to him as she shoved him out the bathroom door. Lincoln just sighed as he walked through the hallway and into his room. He then paused for a moment.

"Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something? Or right. My goggles" Lincoln said as he began to run out of his room before being stopped by Lola and Lana who were wearing sashes with badges on them and sunglasses.

"No running in the halls!" Lana said said. Lincoln just became deadpanned before answering.

"What?" he asked blankly.

"Lana, is this maggot giving you lip?" Lola asked as she proceeded to write something down on a sheet of paper.

"We're the new hall monitors in school, so we're practicing at home." Lana said before she stuck some of the gum she found during their adventure to Subterranus on the paper and Lola smacked it against Lincoln's head.

"If we catch you speeding again, you're going downtown. We already locked up Luan for telling bad jokes." Lola said as she pointed to their open room which still had the door off it's hinges and on the floor. Lincoln looked inside to reveal Luan inside a cardboard cage.

"Hey! Did you hear the one about the thief who stole the calendar? He got 12 months! Haha! Get it?" Luan said.

"That's 5 more minutes dirtbag!" Lola yelled at her.

"Okay I'll walk withing the speed limit." Lincoln said as he threw away the paper and walked very slowly to the bathroom. The paper flew out a window to which Lola would have called it out for littering, but Lana stopped her.

"Stand down soldier. For all we know that paper could end up in a recycling bin outside. We can't call that one" Lana said as Lola looked down in disappointment.

Lincoln walked into the bathroom to find that his gaming goggles had been destroyed cause the sink's pipes burst open and drenched it in water. Lincoln looked at it frozen in shock for a second before he became so mad that now he was the one with a look that could scare the Grimm Reaper.

"LORI! This is all her fault! If she hadn't shoved me out of the bathroom none of this would have happened!" Lincoln yelled, absolutely livid. All the other Loud siblings even peeked out of their rooms with wide eyes. It was not like Lincoln to get mad. Usually he could keep calm, a trait he gained from living with 10 sisters and Murphy's law most of his life, but for once...he struck fear into them. To see someone so calm be so angry now, it was like if Lucy decided to start wearing bright colors and show her eyes. It was just so unorthodox.

Lincoln walked back into his room in anger, not even bothering to acknowledge the fact that while he walked past everyone, the end of Luna's guitar broke off and one of Lisa's chemicals caught fire.

"One minute I'm dodging zombies left and right and the next...I can't believe this!" Lincoln told Clyde who was now in his bedroom. Lincoln called him over to talk about the situation and when Clyde got there he was surprised to see everyone silently watching Lincoln's room with wide eyes before they all slowly went back into their rooms.

"Don't you think you're being a little hard on you sister?" Clyde asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No! If she hadn't shoved me out of the room I wouldn't have lost my game goggles and they wouldn't have gotten soaked in water! I hope she got soaked in water too!" Lincoln said before holding his chin.

"I never thought I would have to do this" Lincoln said as he pulled out a paper from his backpack and showed Clyde.

"Why blank is the worst sister?" Clyde asked in confusion.

"Yeah. I made this a long time ago in case I ever found out which sister I despised the most. Thankfully..." Lincoln said as he proceeded to take out a red sharpie of of his backpack and write "LORI" in the blank spot.

"She made my decision very easy" Lincoln said with an evil glare in his eyes. He then took out noise cancelling headphones from his backpack and handed them to Clyde.

"You're gonna wanna put these on" Lincoln said as Clyde took them. Lincoln then took out his phone from his backpack and proceeded to dial Lori's number. It went to voicemail with Lori's voice.

"Hey this is Lori. You know what to do" the voicemail said, followed by a beep, starting the message.

"Hey Lori. This is you dear brother Lincoln. I just wanna say you are-" Lincoln started as Clyde quickly put on the noise cancelling headphones. He then watched as Lincoln proceeded to read the paper while screaming into his phone. After a few seconds, Lincoln took a deep breath and signaled Clyde that it was okay to take the headphones off, to which Clyde did so.

"And that is why you are the worst sister ever" Lincoln said before hanging up. AS he hanged up, Lori entered the room, not even bothering to knock.

"Hey. I just wanted to say I got you a new pair of those goggles you like. I know not many things go your way cause of Murphy's Law, and Murphy's law broke the goggles. So I felt bad and got you new ones." Lori said as she handed Lincoln a box with the gaming goggles in them. Lincoln just stood there wide eyed as his brain wasn't even responding to what she had just said. Lori looked at him with a look of confusion before shrugging it off and walking off.

"Clyde! What have I done?! I can't let her know I called her all that stuff! What am I gonna do?!" Lincoln yelled getting stressed.

"Whoa, calm down buddy. We just have to delete the message from Lori's phone before she hears it." Clyde said.

"Yeah. I just need a plan" Lincoln said as began to come up with one.

They both peaked out of the door to see that Lori had walked downstairs from her room. "Okay, Lori's phone is still charging since she isn't using it. I just have to get in there and delete the message. Clyde, I need you be lookout" Lincoln said as Clyde saluted him army style.

"You got it" He said with determination. Lincoln then spotted Lana and Lola inspecting poop on the floor.

"Drat! The po-po! I'm gonna have to go over!" Lincoln said as he leaped to a door fame. Lana and Lola came over to inspect said door frame only not see Lincoln. It turns out Lincoln was above them in the door frame. He then took out some hamster food and tossed it in his pet hamster Geo's direction. Geo then ran after it and the twins took notice.

"Hey! No speeding! Get back here!" Lana said as they both chased after him. Lincoln then climbed into a vent and pulled out his radio for Clyde.

"I'm in the vents" Lincoln said before Murphy's law caused Lincoln to fall through the vents and into Lori's room. Lincoln got up before talking to Clyde again.

"Never mind, I'm in Lori's room." Lincoln said.

"Task failed successfully" Clyde said jokingly on the radio before Lincoln heard a loud thud. He ignored it and walked over to Lori's phone which was charging on a stand. Before he could grabbed it, the legs of the desk Lori's phone was on snapped and caused the phone to fly across the room. It then landed on Leni's Sewing machine, hitting a switch that activated it. The phone then landed on the fabric that was being sewed, slowly bringing the phone into the sewing machine. Lincoln quickly bolted for the phone and grabbed it before breathing a sigh of relief. Seconds later, the phone exploded. Lincoln instantly gained a horrified expression. Lori's phone was very important in this house and if her phone was ever broken, there was a chance Lori would actually turn someone into a human pretzel. As fate would have it, Lori walked in seconds later to see her room destroyed and Lincoln as the cause of the destruction.

"LINCOLN! SIBLING MEETING!" Lori yelled at the top of her lungs.

All of the siblings gathered in Lori's now destroyed room. It turns out, Clyde failed to see Lori cause a clock fell on him, knocking him out. Lori held an angry expression while everyone else had a terrified expression. To be in the same room of Lori while she was absolutely mad was one of the sibling's worst nightmares.

"Lincoln, can you explain to me what you were doing in my room? And can you explain to me WHY MY PHONE IS COMPLETELY DESTROYED?!" Lori yelled angrily. Lincoln breathed a sigh of defeat before he answered.

"Lori. I sent you a message saying how you were the worst sister ever." Lincoln said sadly as everyone gasped.

"Dude, what's been going on with you today?" Luna asked worringly.

"Yeah. You were super angry this morning" Luan added.

"And how could you do that?" Lana asked.

"And more importantly, Why did you do that?!" Lori asked.

"Because I was mad at you. When I found my goggles broken I just lost it. I know I'm usually calm about things, but there's a limit to that you know?" Lincoln told everyone as he continued.

"It's just that I don't get many things to go my way because of Murphy's Law and I like the little things I do get to go my way. And I guess when I saw my goggles destroyed I blamed it on you." Lincoln said sadly.

"Lincoln, I get why you're mad but that doesn't mean you can just let loose" Lori said with a not so angry tone.

"Well yeah, but it's not just that. Sometimes it feels like you don't care about us." Lincoln said as Lori just scoffed.

"What? That's literally ridiculous. Right girls?" Lori asked to which she was met with everyone looking away at something else awkwardly. Lori gained a hurt expression form this.

"Do I really act like that?" Lori asked.

Every sister looked down in sadness before they all said "Yeah. A little bit" in unison. Lori felt hurt, but then she realized that it was understandable given whenever she was put in charge she would treat them like they were in military.

"Wow. I had no idea." Lori said sadly. She looked to see the sad looks of every sister, even Lily, to which her heart melted. She sighed before continuing.

"Look, how about next time I'm put in charge, I'll try to be a little less strict about the things you guys do?" Lori asked as everyone came to the agreement. Everyone Minus Lincoln and Lori left the room. They were the only left, which means they could have a more personal conversation.

"Lincoln, tell me the truth. Do you really think I'm the worst sister ever? Do you really think that about me?" Lori asked with true guilt in her eyes as she keeled down to Lincoln's eye level.

"No. I don't think that. I was just super mad. I got so mad about Murphy's Law and then I blamed it on you. So no, I don't think you're the worst. I don't think you're the best, but I wouldn't trade you for the world" Lincoln said with a smile. Lori hugged him as he returned the hug. After a few seconds she stood up.

"I'm really sorry about today. I lost my cool today and as a result, I heart your feelings." Lincoln said sadly.

"Hey. It's okay. Just next time, don't go so over the top to hate me. Just talk to me about it. I mean you do know where my room is. But make sure you knock first" Lori said sincerely as she ruffled Lincoln's white hair. Lincoln then gasped before he looked in his backpack for something.

"Oh! Here's a new phone by the way. You know how I pack spares of everything" Lincoln said as he handed a near exact replica of Lori's phone. She then took it and thanked him.

"Thanks Lincoln!" Lori said before she became serious.

"Now get out of my room" Lori said sternly as Lincoln shrugged before walking out.

Meanwhile with 2 people at a pistachio cart.

"Well that was an eventful day. I'd say our mission was successful" Cavendish said as a truck came towards them. Dakota leaped forward and pushed Cavendish out of the way, before the truck smashed into the Pistachio cart.

"I almost died" Cavendish said in shock.

"Yeah, you almost died" Dakota said sarcastically. The driver then got out of the truck with paper and gum stuck to his face, covering his eyes, which caused the crash.

"Curse this piece of paper!" The driver said as he threw it to the floor and walked away. Cavendish and Dakota then walked over to the paper and picked it up.

"A hall monitor's note for Lincoln Murphy Loud?" Cavendish said, reading the paper.

"Loud? That's a weird last name." Dakota said with a raised eyebrow. They both stood there blankly before Dakota spoke again.

"Wanna go get some food?" Dakota asked.

"Sure."

"IN THE LOUD HOUSE!"

So for this episode I wanted to do one thing: I wanted to show how Lincoln doesn't have just Milo's Personality, he also has his own. It's a mix of both. If you notice, Milo almost if not never ever breaks his "Happy about everything" vibe. Meanwhile Lincoln can get mad about some things somewhat easily. So if his personality is a mix of both, that means while he can stay calm about Murphy's law, eventually things can and will get under his skin. Eventually. Also, I wanted to address a certain issue regarding Clyde. I hate his crush on Lori. I always cringed whenever he would faint from just the sight of her. I also found it very creepy because of the very obvious age gap. So no, Clyde will not have a crush on Lori in this story (Hey! That rhymed!) The next episode will be "The note". Have a great day.
