Chapter 10: Intervention: Part One
Ron was dodging the ninja stars that Sensei was throwing at him. His training consisted of jogging 20 kilometers, meditating and practicing katas. Sensei had imposed on him more rigorous training than usual that any Yamanuchi student has ever been through. He wanted to make sure Ron was up to the challenge.
"Ah, wow" said Ron ducking his head to avoid a shuriken.
"Stoppable-san you shouldn't fear them but be one with them" Sensei said as he threw the other one that cut Ron's hair a bit.
Ron ended up falling backwards to the ground.
"I think it would be nice if we took a break." Sensei sighed.
"Good idea." Ron said touching his hair. "Because actually I'm really tired and so is Rufus"
Ron said pointing to Rufus who was lying on the ground showing his exhaustion.
"I have seen that you have come a long way, Stoppable-San; more than you think." Sensei said.
"If you say so." Ron replied.
"I'm serious, what's more, we have already done this exercise with non-lethal objects, and you have overcome them without problems." Sensei said. "However, I see that you are very distracted."
"Yeah well, a lot of things have happened that I've been thinking a lot about."
"I know it's hard to leave behind everything you've been through lately, but you can learn to leave those prejudices behind."
"How?"
"I know you have learned to be stealthy and master melee combat, but you need to learn a discipline that every ninja must master completely: Sheishien Kyoyo, spiritual refinement."
"And when am I going to start that?"
"Tomorrow." Sensei replied. "Tomorrow you will begin to train your mind, you will meditate for three days so that you can seek enlightenment that a master cannot teach his disciple. Here in this dojo you will meditate so that you can discover what you are looking for. "
"But Sensei, what am I looking for?" Ron asked.
"Only you know what you are looking for." It was what Sensei said. "I have faith that you will become one with your environment, and with yourself."
"Hai Sensei." Ron bowed.
"Alright, now let's get back to training."
Ron braced himself to dodge the shuriken this time.
"Just remember, Unstoppable-San." Sensei said out of nowhere. "We choose what stops us, and what moves us forward."

Kim was lying on her bed, she was miserable and she looked miserable, she had been like this since meeting 'The Fiend' Kim. She couldn't stop thinking about what 'The Fiend' Kim had told her.
"Are you there Kimberly Ann?" Nana's voice was heard from the other side of the door.
Kim went to her door to open it for her grandmother. When Nana entered, she noticed how her granddaughter was.
"I see you haven't slept very well." Nana said.
"Yes, there were bad nights and bad nights."
"I could say the same for your dad, he and your mom haven't been well since the Ronald incident."
"None of us who abandoned it have been well."
"Have you talked to him lately?"
"Not after I try to talk to him."
"You must give him time"
"I know, but what if he wants to try again, how can I show him that he can still trust me, I've hurt him so much and I don't know what to do." Kim lowered her head.
Nana approached her granddaughter and touched her shoulder with her hand. "You have to start with the hardest thing to do, forgive yourself." She said. "I believe in you Kimberly Ann, you are a good person and I know you will find a way to remedy this ... in time." Nana said before leaving.
"I hope so." thought Kim

Ron lay stretched out on his bed, it was almost two in the morning and he couldn't sleep. He walked over to his nightstand and saw a picture frame on the floor with a picture of him with Wade, Kim, his parents and his brothers; the glass protecting the photo was broken, he knew he had caused that.
Flashback
Ron had come out of his second day of rehab but still required the use of crutches. He was on his way to his room, when suddenly he heard a voice calling him.
"Ron."
Ron turned to see Kim's parents, Wade and Felix.
"Oh hi guys." Ron said in a neutral tone.
"How have you been Ronald?" James Possible asked.
"Well, there I take it."
"Can we do something?" Ann Possible said wondering.
"I think you guys did enough."
"Seriously Ron, we want to help." Felix said.
"Help?" Ron said in a sarcastic tone. "That sounds good, but how do you plan to do that, perhaps creating a time machine so that I can help prevent Drakken from taking full control of the world since you indirectly contributed to all this happening." He said raising his voice.
"We are only trying to remedy what we did to you." Wade said.
"Well, yes, whatever they do, they can regain my trust and my friendship, they can save their help and their pity."
"Ron, I'm serious." James pleaded.
"I don't need your help, and I don't want your help." Ron said before leaving.
Ron rushed to his room, once inside he found a photo of him with Wade, Kim, his parents and his brothers; he took the photo and threw it on the nearest wall.
"We don't need your help." Ron told himself
End Flashback
That had been a few weeks ago, but only now was he wondering if he was right to vent the way he did, although it was true that he was angry at them, especially at Kim; but he also knew that he did not hate them. Maybe they deserved what he told them, but the fact of yelling at them like he had done, did not give him the right to do so.
A part of him wanted to give them one last chance, but what happened next? While it was true that they made a big mistake, probably the biggest one in their entire lives when they did not believe her about Diablo toys, especially Kim when she chose Eric over him; But she had spent so many unforgettable moments with the others and Kim had been her friend since pre-K, they had saved the world together, they survived the battle against super villains together. But it only took one night for them to lose their trust. Is a mistake what it takes to end a lifelong friendship? Won't you forgive them the next time they let you down?
He thought about how Sensei had talked about us choosing what stops us. And in that moment, Ron felt that was it. She thought of the words he had said to Felix, Wade, and Mr and Mrs P. Ron was embarrassed. He knew what he had to do tomorrow, he had to learn to forgive Kim for abandoning him for a pretty boy; Wade, Felix, James and Ann for abandoning him when he needed it most; and to his parents for abandoning him from the beginning and that now they were making an effort to repair his mistake.
It wasn't going to be easy, but Ron had to start with that.

Wade was in the shelter lab, he was still trying to fix the flaws in Kim's battle suit.
"Hey, Wade." Jim Possible said when he and his twin Tim entered the lab.
"Oh, hey guys." Wade replied.
"Are you still stuck in the battle suit flaw?" Tim asked.
"Yes, if I want to make more battle suits I have to fix the first one I made."
"If you want we can help you." Jim said.
"Alright guys." Wade agreed.
"But first, we need the battle suit blueprints." Jim said.

It was 6 in the morning, Ron entered the shelter dojo, everything was clear.
He didn't know where to start, so he supposed he should meditate. Ron sat down on the floor and settled into the lotus position, closed his eyes and began to meditate.
Suddenly, the world changed again when he was thrown into the janitor's closet. It was the same one that Kim left him for the entire weekend. It wasn't until the janitor returned for his mop that he was finally able to get out. And the whole time that Kim didn't come to help him, she was just with Josh Mankey for the whole weekend.
His parents had punished him for not coming home after the dance, and he was angry at Kim for leaving him locked in the janitor's closet, but when he went to confront her about it, he couldn't find the strength to do so.
When Kim opened the door to her house, Ron found a smile on Kim's face, all the anger inside him receded as she smiled at him. It was then that he realized that as long as she was happy he could bear the pain.
"I couldn't blame her for that." Ron said softly when he remembered her face as she told him about her date with Mankey, she was so happy and he was happy just to see her happy.
"How can you not blame her?" Said a voice to Ron, a very familiar voice.
Ron turned to confirm, and yes, he found a very familiar face, only with blue skin, a black suit with a 'Z' on the chest, and red glasses.
"You." Ron said.
"That's right, me." Zorpox replied. "But back to the question: How can you not blame her after she locked you in the janitor's closet?"
"It was an accident."
"That's right, but you called her on the Kimmunicator and she didn't answer you, instead she left you in the waiting box and didn't even bother to know where you were."
"I don't care, I care about her and I" Ron stopped in the middle of his sentence, he didn't have the strength to say those words "... and I would do anything to see her happy, that was enough for me. "
"And what about you?" Zorpox asked. "Don't you deserve to be happy?"
Ron didn't answer right away. He thought for a moment, but couldn't find an excuse why he shouldn't be happy.
"You sacrificed a lot for Kim, and for what? She ends up overshadowed by the first golden boy who crosses her path." Zorpox continuous. "But come on, it's not the first time that happens."
Now the stage changed to what looked like a movie theater. Ron and Zorpox turned to see a 12-year-old Ron Stoppable seeing a 12-year-old Kim Possible in an awkward situation.
"Remember this?" Zorpox asked. "It was the time you went to see the live action movie of Zombie Mayhem, you wanted Kim to accompany you to see the movie but she told you that she could not go with you since she was very busy. So she suggested that you go see the movie only while she was going on a date with Walter Nelson, since watching a movie like Zombie Mayhem: The Movie is for immature and childish people. But Walter took her to see Zombie Mayhem: The Movie, so she was able to bear to see that movie as long as she had that date, but she didn't realize that you were going to see the movie in the same room as them. But going to the important point, in a certain part of the movie you went to refill your soda until you saw that Kim was there, and your heart broke when you discovered that she had gone to see the movie with Walter Nelson, and when you saw Kim kissing Walter was the last nail in the coffin. " Zorpox shook her head. "Who would say that Kimberly Ann would do the same years later, but this time with your Halloween tradition, but come on, I guess she would do immature and childish things if a pretty boy does too."
Ron remembered that day, he had felt abandoned by Kim.
"And let's not forget this." Zorpox said when the scene changed. Now the two of them were in downtown Middleton. There were many people in the room, they were celebrating.
Now Ron understood, it was the day that Kim would receive the key to the city, in addition to the monument in her honor from the mayor. The mayor had only invited Kim and her family.
"That is what happens every day." Zorpox said. "They remind her of her, they celebrate her, they cheer her on, and they forget you, they leave you behind. And that's what happened on Diablo Night."
Ron's face fell at Zorpox's words.
"That's what always happens, they abandoned us, she abandoned us."
"What do you mean by 'us'?" Ron asked.
"You don't see it, we are the same." Zorpox continuous. "I am the evil and the hatred that lives inside you, the side that you repress every day. Every insult, every bad day, every dark thought and every moment of hatred that you have ever experienced in your life, that is me, I am the monument of your hatred. "
Zorpox approached Ron. "You can no longer trust them or anyone else, only me." Zorpox extended his hand to Ron. "Join me, Ron Stoppable, make our bonds permanent and everything you ever wanted will be ours."
Ron thought for a moment about Zorpox's proposal, there was a point there, it didn't make sense to live in a society where everyone makes fun of him and leaves him behind.
Ron was about to shake his hand with Zorpox's, but he felt a hand touch his shoulder.
"Do not do it." Said a voice.
Ron turned when he saw who was talking to him, and was surprised.
N/A: Well, here is the new chapter, I hope you liked it. Sorry for the delay, but I've been busy with school and my schedule is tight. I was only able to move forward with the story because they have suspended classes due to heavy rains in the state where I live. Thank God in the neighborhood where I live, the rains have not caused floods but in the neighborhoods closer to the center of the city there have been floods.
