A/N: I'm sorry, you guys. I meant to write this yesterday, but some unforeseen circumstances threw me off.
Anyway, I'm back with some FLUFF for once! I found a new depressing song, though!
Because of Lewis Cappaldi? Capaldi? Capaldi. Okay. XD
So, here we go! Hope this makes up for at least a little of the angst.
Rex glanced up at his vode, even though he knew none of them had moved. And even though they should all have been in bed, he couldn't bring himself to make them do it.
They'd usually be with Ahsoka right now.
She'd play sabacc with Fives and Hardcase, sort medical supplies with Kix, and she'd even have time for Rex personally after they were all passed out in each other's bunks.
But not now.
They were all surprised by Anakin standing in the doorway.
"General Skywalker." Rex said formally, jumping down from his bunk.
"At ease, men." he replied, looking at each of them in turn. "We've received some news on Commander Tano."
Rex was about to ask what they'd found when he stepped aside to reveal a small figure in the doorway.
"Ahsoka!" Fives yelled excitedly.
"Where were ya, kid?"
"You had us all worried."
"Can't let you out of our sight, can we, Commander?"
Ahsoka laughed at the crowding clones, hugging as many as she could at one time.
"She wouldn't go to bed until she knew you boys were all okay." Anakin said, smiling contentedly at the pile of clones that had washed over his padawan.
"Huh. You'd make a good medic, kid." Kix commented.
"Would I?" she asked sleepily, curling up to Rex. The rest shifted to keep her warm.
"You can sleep now, Ahsoka." Rex whispered into her montrals.
She looked up at him.
"We won't let you go this time."
A/N: Yay! I wrote something HAPPY! And now I'm proud of myself. That's gonna disappear next chapter, though. More depression. I CAN'T HELP IT!
I randomly heard THE SONG on the radio. I had made up my mind NOT to listen to it, but that went down the drain...
So yeah. Hope you enjoyed this! Because I will probably get yelled at in the next few chapters...
