Anger Management

Chapter Eight

Gibbs had walked out of Taft's office to take the elevator downstairs for which he needed to catch a cab with McGee heading back to NCIS. Calling for a cab was not what he was used to when his truck was sitting at work. But instead taking the Yellow cab arriving ten minutes later at the main emergency room entrance.

He had told the older driver in his forties with black hair and tattoos. Gibbs asked him to take him to his address. Right away the driver moving out of the driveway to move onto the main road trying to dodge the vehicles making Gibbs even cringe with his driving skills.

However his mind was either on Alex Roberts or Loreile. As for Alex Roberts, his team was going to get involved with searching for the killer. Since Gibbs was going to be home soon. Bishop and Nick Torres went to the address for when it came to the other Marine recruiter Leo Brock in Washington, D..C. He was working at the fifth Avenue main recruiting office a few blocks away from the White House.

This recruiting office was mostly popular with the percentage success rate with with recruitments was 85% with mostly whites, blacks and hispanics joining the Marines.

Bishop and Torres had parked across the street from the recruiting office. When all of a sudden there is another explosion destroying the office entirely. It was lucky that only one or two workers besides the recruiter was inside and injuring only a few of those walking by.

Eyewitnesses calling for 911, POLICE and ambulances along with the fire department to keep the fire from spreading.

Torres pulling out his cell phone to call Director Leon Vance in his office to advise him of the situation. He dialed the number to contact him directly to his cell phone in the office. He had just gotten back from talking with Lt. Brown with three more cold cases to work on with Doctor Mallard and Doctor Palmer finding further evidence...

Leon answered his phone from his coat pocket. "Vance what's going on agent Torres?" He had to asked with knowing Torres doesn't usually call him.

"Sir I am sorry to say the Washington, D.C. Marine recruiting office with Leo Brock just blew up with Alex Roberts handy work all over it. Metro police are arriving now as we speak with Bishop and I just arrived across the street when it blew." Nick will say with his direct calmness.

"You and Bishop were lucky this time. No doubt Roberts was after the marine recruiter John Martin. No doubt now he's going to try and finish the job with Special Agent Gibbs." Vance made mention with his assumption.

"I will agree. Any further orders Director Vance?"

"Talk with the police and no doubt the local Washington, D.C. coroner will be taking over with any bodies found in the explosion. Please advise Bishop of this while I inform Gibbs as well. Hopefully by now he's home from the hospital?"

"Me to. I would hate to think just what is on Loreile's mind?" Torres stated with conjunction.

Bishop had spoke with the Captain in charge of the detectives investigating the explosion. "Captain Lewis are you able to send NCIS any information on the explosion nor who might of done this?" Bishop had to asked with the coroner was coming out of the building with a stretcher and one body of Marine recruiter Leo Brock getting the most of the damage. Otherwise the other two burnt to a crisp. It was going to take time to figure it out just who they were.

"I certainly will be able to help with the case. By the way say hello to Special Agent Gibbs for me Agent Bishop." He requested since knowing the agent a long time and former fishing buddy...

"I will Captain Lewis." Bishop said with a smile even though her stomach was flipping slightly.

Meanwhile Nick Torres had spoke with the coroner Doctor Errol Flynns with his experience of 30 years.

Baskins aka Mrs. Gibbs was sitting outback of the yard. She was currently working on one of her stories that keeps her busy at times. Now that she was getting closer to her due date with the baby. But not quick enough for her.

She heard a car out front. But she didn't know on whether it was Gibbs truck. However he walked into the back with the cab driver dropping his fare off in front of the house.

"I had to take a cab home leaving the grey truck at NCIS with McGee dropping me off at the hospital to be checked out by the doctor. Doctor Cyril Taft is now a happy chump now that he had seen his patient and keeping me out of work for a week." He stated with the start of his lie.

"What are you up to Loreile?" Kissing her the back of her neck to give her a slight chill and than touching her belly with the baby inside...

"Writing fanfiction to finish for my publishers. She had been after me for weeks now Jethro. By the way are you hungry I can always order Chinese food?"

"Chinese food will do my dear wife while I go inside to change. It's getting a bit chilly outside with the wind picking up." Gibbs said with Loreile stopping him for a minute with her arm.

"Do you mind telling me what the hell is going on with you, Jethro?" She asked with vengeance in her tone and persona. She wasn't going to let him get away with his nonsense and lies.

"Jesus Loreile nothing is going on. What makes you think so with the question?"

"Because I know better that your back is not bothering you all that much. If this was the case you would be staying in the hospital in contraction or even home staying in bed."

"Look Loreile I can't go into now and it's for your own protection. Please now I am going to change. Or do you want me to make that call for the food?" His anger was building once again and he didn't wish to take it out on her...

"I will make the call Jethro." She closes down her laptop to head inside following at a slower pace...
