As Jacob and Renesmee ate their scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, tomato and beans that Edward had made them me and Edward walked into Edward's study. I stood next to the wall and I rested myself against it and watched as he sat down at his piano; I loved watching him play the piano. It was so soothing and profound to see him get lost into it; and I had spent a lot of times watching Edward play and I would never get sick of it. However I knew why he was playing at the moment - when there was something really on his mind he would play to help clear his mind and calm him down.

As Edward's study started to fill with a slow piece of music that Edward was playing as I looked up at the ceiling as I began to think about the turmoil that was currently engulfing my family. However as the music continued I looked down and over to my husband to see his blank expression as he got lost into the music; I then pushed up and walked up to him. When I got near his stool I knelt my left leg onto it as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and rested my head against his. A few seconds later he snuggled his head into mine as he stopped playing and rested his left hand onto of my left, that was rested on my right elbow. We then just stood in silence, this is what I loved about being married to Edward. He wasn't just my husband, he was my best friend, soul mate and one true love. We didn't have to do anything at all and it still would be prefect - even at a time like this.

I didn't know how long we were like this; but when we heard a knock on the door we then pulled apart and threw a confused a look at each other. I then watched as Edward's face dropped as he realised who it was; and I heard the door open as we both stood up straight.

"Aunty Alice" I heard Renesmee sang as me and Edward quickly walked into the living room, to see Jacob still sat eating at the long glass dining table.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I watched Renesmee close the door behind Alice.

"I've had another vision" she advised. "Does Bella know?" she directed to Edward as Renesmee sat in her seat next to Jake.

"Yes" Edward answered; and out the corner of my eye both Jake and Renesmee both pulled a confused at the three of us. "But-" he stated as he slightly nodded over to Jacob and Renesmee.

"I see" she noted and I watched as Jake threw me a stern look.

"So-" I asked breaking the silence. "What is this new vision?" I asked for us all.

"Jane-" Alice began. "Inside Jacob's house" she advised.

"What?" Jacob exclaimed. "When?" he urged.

"Tonight" Alice announced.

"Over my dead body" he snarled as he quickly stood up.

"Jacob your food" Renesmee reminded him.

"Sorry Ness" he apologised as he walked around the dining table. "I need to go, I need to get home" he told us all as he looked around us all. "Tell the packs" he muttered. "If that bloodsucker thinks she's getting into my house" he growled as he bawled his fists up.

"Jacob" Edward stated.

"Sorry" he quickly apologised again.

"It's ok" Alice interjected. "We know you don't mean us" she smiled meekly.

"No" he confirmed. "You are my family now" he offered happily and we all shared a quick smile. "Tell Carlisle that we will meet at the border of our pack at 2100" he explained. "Does that give us time Alice?" he enquired.

"Yes" she nodded. "It was in the dead of night when I saw Jane" she added.

"Ok" he nodded back at this. "Bye Ness" he advised as he looked over to her.

"Bye" she meekly smiled back and I watched them both throw a loving look at each other. We all then watched as Jacob quickly turned and quickly walked out of the cottage, quietly closing the door behind him.

"I'm going to head back" Alice stated.

"Ok" me and Edward muttered together.

"We will let Renesmee finish her lunch then we will meet you there" I added.

"Ok" she answered, and she turn and quickly left our home, so me, my husband and daughter could share a few private moments before we returned back into the madness that was currently our lives.

"Mom!" Renesmee called after she closed our cottage door behind us. "Dad!" she quickly added as she followed us up the garden path.

"Yes?" we said together as we looked over to her.

"I know you two are hiding something" she stated bluntly, which caused me and Edward to quickly look at each other before looking back at her. "I knew it!" she exclaimed. "What's wrong?" she implored.

"Nothing you need to worry about" Edward advised, and I watched as her face dropped at this.

"I hate it when you do this!" she sighed. "I'm not a little girl any more" she stressed.

"We know dear" I advised. "It's just-" I started.

"You are trying to protect me!" she exclaimed cutting me off. "I get that. but you don't need to" she stressed. "Please tell me?" she pleaded, causing me and Edward to look at each other.

"It's up to you" he shrugged, before he looked down to the floor and the three of us then fell into silence. I then began to think about whether it was a good idea to tell her about Alice's vision; but as I looked at the determined look in her eyes I come to a decision.

"Ok" I nodded. "There is one vision that we haven't told you or Jacob about-" I started to explain. "I honestly don't think it is going to be a big deal, as I'm not going to be anywhere near Caius for it to happen" I continued slowly.

"Caius?" she repeated slowly. "Where does he come into this?" she enquired as she stepped in front of me and Edward.

"Alice's was-" I gulped. "Of me with blackened eyes" I continued as she pulled one brow up in confusion. "With his head in my hands" I admitted.

"What?" she gasped. "That means a fight is coming" she urged.

"Maybe" I muttered. "Or maybe not, you know that things can change" I told her.

"But I don't want you near him either" she said as she pulled me into a hug.

"Don't worry" I said over her left shoulder. "We won't be" I advised, hoping to reassure her - even though I wasn't even reassuring myself.

"But you can't really promise that can you?" she questioned as she pulled away and looked up sadly at me.

"Not really" I confessed. "But let's not fixate on this, we need to get to the others" I stated hoping to move this conversation on. "We need to plan" I stated.

"I'm coming!" she exclaimed.

"Ok" I nodded.

"I don't think we could stop you" Edward chuckled.

"Especially as Jake will be there" I stated as we broke apart and she slid her right hand into my left.

"Yes" she answered happily and lovingly and I knew by the look on her face she was now thinking about Jacob. We all then started to slowly walk towards the rest of our family, with me thinking about the conversation that I had just had with my not so little daughter. As an afterthought I was glad that I had told her, I knew that she would tell Jacob and I was strangely ok with this. I wanted to protect the pair of them, by using the excuse that I needed time to think about it. I guess I was still struggling with the fact that I didn't need to protect my daughter as much now, but given the world that we were in - I was always going to struggle with this, just as Edward did at times.
