"So he doesn't then, maybe I should give him a ring then" Liam smirked
"Don't you dare!" She points to him
Lilli comes running back in in her pjs
"Hi darling, go and pick a film" she smiles
Carla finishes cleaning up as Lilli chooses the film she wants with Liam
She takes a deep breath, leaning on the side before making the hot chocolates
Together Lilli and Liam pick The Greatest Showman
Carla brings the hot chocolates over, giving one to Liam and one to Lilli thats coated in cream and marshmallows
They all sit down and watch the film as Carla sings along to the songs
Halfway through the film her phone rings
"Never enoughhhh" Carla sings as Liam and Lilli watch on and Liam laughs whilst Lilli watches smiling
She hears her phone, getting up and taking it out of her jacket pocket she walks in the bedroom and answers it
"Mrs Connor speaking!" she smiles
"Hey! I needed to hear your voice" Peter said
"Peter!" She laughs
"I know it's kinda only been two hours but I really need to see you" he smiles
"I already told you" she points out
Liam walks in
"I've got to go I'll call you back later" she hangs up
"Carla!" He shouts
"Who was that?" Liam asks
"Oh just Sarah about the factory" she smiles
"Oh so you still got the ol' place?" He asks
"Yeah course!" She laughs "can't forget the ol' place"
Liam laughed
The song The Other Side comes on the tv
"Don't you Wanna get away from the same ol' part you gotta play!" Carla sings before dancing along to it
Liam joined in "Cause I got what you need so come with me and take the ride!"
They both sang and danced together "to the other side!"
As the song finished Liam watched on as Carla sang the last line
"We're going to the other sideeee!" She smiles at him "what!?"
"You're a big kid aren't ya" he laughs
"What can I say, I got moves" she smirks
"And don't I know it!" He smirks too
"Hey you!" She pushes him gently
"It's one of the reasons I love you!" He laughs
"You what.." she looks up at him and stops
"Uh.." he rubs the back of his neck
She pulls his over and kisses him deeply as he kisses her back, running his hands up her back
She slaps his hands off and pulls away
She groans
"I shouldn't have done that.." She runs her hands over her face before walking out of the house
"Carla!" Liam shouted after
She got in her car and drove off
"Where's mummy going?" Lilli asked
"I don't know.. come on let's go get you ready for bed" he puts his hand out to which Lilli takes
Liam get Lilli ready for bed and Carla parks outside the Rovers, walking in
"Large glass of red please Johnny" she looked stressed
"Everything alright?" He asked as he poured a glass of red
"Everything's fine" she looks at the glass Johnny places in front of her and Peter walks in
She suddenly breaks down in tears as Peter comes over and cuddles her much to the shock of the congregation in the pub
He takes her outside and sits her down
"Whats happened?" He whispers softly
She wipes her eyes
"I think I'm pregnant" she looks at him
"With your baby.." she cries
He just sits there in shock for a minute
"How..?" He asks
"I don't know.." She looks down
Tears stream down Carla's face
He cuddles her tight
"It's okay it's okay" he rubs her back
"We'll sort it" he rubs her arm
She cries into him
"I've messed up" she says softly
"No you haven't" he kisses her head
"This is finally a chance for me and you to have the baby we never had" he smiles warmly
She half smiles back, stopping herself from telling him she kissed Liam as she knows it would break his heart
He cuddled her tight as she zoned out before he put his hand on her stomach as she began to zone back in
"How many weeks?" He asks
She shrugs a little "I don't know.. 8, maybe 9?"
"We'll get you a scan booked to find out" he kisses her stomach
She looks down at him
He was infatuated with her and the baby, what was she meant to do
"I kissed Liam!" She blurted out, she couldn't keep something like this in, not since past mistakes
"What.." he looked at her and his face dropped
"I kissed Liam.. I'm sorry, it was only for like a second.." she looked in his eyes as her tear ducts began to fill
"You.. you kissed Liam..? I don't understand, I thought you were with me?" He raises an eyebrow
"I was! I mean I am! I love you Peter, nobody else.. please believe me" she puts her hands on his cheeks
"I.." he moves her hands and walks off
"Peter!" She cries out
Michelle walks in
"Woah, hey what's happened.." she comes and cuddles Carla, rubbing her back
Michelle and Robert had been away for a few weeks, unaware of all the recent events
She cried into her best friends chest, letting everything sink out as she explained what had happened since she'd come back
Michelle looked down at her
"Where's Liam?" She asked
"Back at the holiday house" Carla began to wipe her tears
"Ok, why don't you come back with me and Robert and I can pour you a glass of orange juice and we'll just talk about anything?" She asked
Carla slowly nodded and Michelle took her back to hers
When arriving Carla sat down on the couch, Robert poured her a glass of orange juice and gave it to her
"Thanks.." she said as she took it, sipping a little
"So where's Peter gone?" Robert asked
Michelle shook her head gently at him as if to say don't talk about that
Robert nodded "I'm just gonna pop out for a minute" he rubbed Carla's shoulder gently before leaving
Michelle sat down next to Carla and put her arm around her
"It's all gonna work out, Peter will come to his senses" She assured Carla, stroking her hair
"What if it doesn't tho Chelle.. what if I've messed it up this time" tears stream down her face
"You haven't.." She cuddled Carla
Are Carla and Peter going to be okay or is their relationship doomed for disaster?
