This was it . This was the end.
Just as I was about to except my demise a something hit the beast on the back of the head with a roar the beast turned around and reverted his attention from us and to the mangey street rat that was throwing rotten fruit at the foul thing
Howling the beast charged at her
I'd like to say that I had yelled no and taken it down with my bare hands and finished it of with a strike of lightning. But alas as you already know that did not happen. Instead I groaned out a pathetic
"Nnnghhhhho"
And the foolishly brave girl attacked with two twin blades. I couldn't help but gape at the fighting style it was and ancient Rome technique and was hard to master. Perhaps this girl isn't a street rat as I'd previously presumed.
There were two options either help the girl or save myself and Hermes.
Option number two seemed safer so naturally I picked that.
That child attacked from all sides her blades glinting in the sun. Vines sprouted from the ground and wrapped themselves around the monsters legs.
Yep definitely a child of Demeter.
Sadly it escaped the vines and I had no choice but to intervene the daughter of Demeter stood no chance.
Hastily sitting Hermes down somewhere safe I went to the dumpster and rammed it into the monster completely catching him by surprise.
Unfortunately, my poorly thought plan resulted in a rather painful collision with the cyclops.
I couldn't help but hiss when my ribs made contact how do you mortals handle being in such weak bodies?
I tried not to gag at the horrible cyclops stench and briefly, heard Hermes's cry of alarm.
The girl rolled her eyes at my heroic attempt of bravery
How Dare she that insolent child clearly had a death wish
But I generously agreed to let it go seeing as she aided us.
The last few moments of battle were a bit of a blur but ended with us standing alone. The cyclops had fled.
Which was strange but Cyclopes weren't the smartest monsters
"Well that was a 'great' plan dummy names Meg McCaffery"
No one who valued their life spoke to me with such blatant disrespect.
I scowled and opened my mouth to reply but the mortal interrupted
"Hey don't you want to get that kid over there"
I'd completely forgotten about him that just proves how much of a bad parent I am.
After making my way towards him I hoist him up by his armpits and place him on my hip
"Dad that was so cool" he told me his blue eyes glinting with mischief.
"Hush" I said I did not have time for this parenting nonsense their were much more important matters to discuss like for starters
What in the name of the fates happened to my immortality.
"As a token of gratitude for aiding us mortal you shall come with us to Camp Half blood" I declared
Meg cocked her head to the side " What's a camp half blood?"
Great she does not know I do not have time for this
" It is a place for people like you" I sighed.
Her eyebrows furrowed "What do you mean people like me"
Exasperated I said "You'll find out soon enough.
Shrugging she began to hum to herself and skip
Ugh mortals

Okay, okay relax maybe it's all just a simple misunderstanding my powers will be restored soon.
But that insolent girl interrupted my thoughts by saying " So smart guy how are we going to get to this camp of yours"
Hmm she did have a point I dug around in my pocket using my free hand and pulled out three drachmas
I said in ancient Greek stop chariot of damnation a few minutes later a taxi appeared out of thin air and the three of us hopped in.
"Where to?" said one of the grey sisters
"Camp Half blood long island" I said and leaned back.
Of to Camp Half blood we go

Hades POV
After my conversation with mother I felt much more refreshed but then the old hag Demeter had to come in
"Come brother we are leaving the plans have changed" she said rather smugly.
Something was definitely wrong
After biding mother farewell we were shortly joined by Poseidon
I don't know what happened but I felt a tug on my gut and all of a sudden I felt a lot weaker.
"Now Boys I'll teleport you to Camp so that you can collect your seedlings"
"Demeter wouldn't it be easier if we teleport ourselves" Poseidon reasoned.
Demeter laughed "Nonsense brother it will be much faster if I do it now grab a hold of my arms".
When we got their I felt nausea rise up my throat but I willed it back down unlike Poseidon who ran towards one of the bins and emptied his stomach
this was also strange gods don't vomit.
Once Poseidon was finished he walked towards me
Demeter had left shortly after teleporting us
"How do you fare brother" I asked because believe it or not I do care for my brothers.
"I am well brother come let's make our way to the Big House"
Once there we were greeted by our sort of half brother Chiron who led us out again
His expression was grave
"I fear there were some complications with the children my lords"
Me and Poseidon exchanged worried looks before we could ask what had happened
We noticed two.. no three figures making their way towards Thalia's pine tree.
There was a scruffy looking girl and a man with a child who was no doubt Zeus.
Yelling his name we ran to meet him.
Zeus looked messy as if he'd been in a fight and his expression was pained
"Brothers I have something to tell you" he panted
Whatever it was it couldn't have been good
