Title: Electricity

The newly graduates were sitting around a table eating and just talking about random topics before Harry coughed a bit. "Hey Pat, I'm moving into a new apartment for college. I was wondering if you'd move in with me, rent free."

Patrick was speechless for a second as Felicia chimes in. "He'll love to.", she said speaking for her boyfriend

"Awesome, it won't be ready for a few weeks. But once it is, we'll have a house party to celebrate.", Harry said as Eddie looked at him.

"Ah c'mon what about me?", Eddie said jokingly as Harry just snickered a bit. As they talked, they failed to notice Felicia looking at Patrick with a devious grin on her face.

The next morning, Max Dillon was getting ready for work in his tiny apartment. He smiled as he had a The Spider poster on his wall, he desperately wanted to be noticed, except for him. After being saved from him, he grew a genuine love and respect for what he does. "Today's my birthday.", he said with an exhale... though he knew no one would really care. So he just walked out his home and to Oscorp

-

Patrick had made it to Oscorp to pick up Harry so they could go and do something. Though he had some trouble getting in considering he broke in the first time, but through convincing, he got in. Both he and Max entered the same elevator. "Haven't seen you around before, you new?", Max asked him.

"Nah, just here to pick up a friend.", Patrick said as Max nodded. They turned their attention to the small screen of a news reporter being known as J.Jonah Jameson, who was prattling on and on about how The Spider is a menace.

"I don't get people like him, The Spider obviously is doing good for New York. You don't see the Avengers going out and stop a mugging or anything like that, my guy is goin out everyday to help the little guy.", Max said as Patrick just sighed.

"It's best to leave people like him to themselves, maybe one day their throat would give out.", Patrick snickered as Max chuckled. "Oh, I'm Patrick."

"Max.", the two shook hands as Patrick arrived at his floor, and left the elevator

He waited outside the lab for a bit before recognizing a very familiar face, Felicia. He watched as she snuck through a lab door as the last person left.

Felicia went though a bunch of file cabinets, muttering to herself as she was searching for something. She turned but jumped back in fright as Patrick, now dressed as the The Spider was hanging from the ceiling. "Hey babe, what're you doin here?"

Felicia smacked him lightly. "Asshole, could've at least made some noise or something.", she said as Patrick flipped down and landed in front of her.

"Answer the question.", The Spider said as he noticed a folder in the cabinet labeled in bold lettering PARKER. "What the fuck...", he moved Felicia out the way as he opened the file, seeing a picture of his aunt and uncle along with pages and pages of blacked out information.

"Im guessing you and I are looking for the same thing.", Felicia said as Patrick looked at her and cocked his head. "I'm looking for information about my dad, he was called the Cat Burglar-", she covered Crimson's mouth. "Don't. A few months ago he had a job to steal something from Oscorp... so this is why I'm here.", she said as she hugged him tightly. "Maybe... we can help each other?"

The Spider paused before hugging her back. "Sure..."

-

Somewhere else in the building, Max walked to the lab so he could meet up with the scientist he was interning with. His name being Morgan Micheals, tall, pale skinned man with neck length black hair, wearing a dark red shirt, black jeans and a white lab coat. "Sorry I'm late.", he apologize as he turned to him.

"No need to apologize, being late is gonna be the end of the world." Morgan said with a friendly smile. "Come, we have much to do.", he said, by his eyes Max could tell he was passionate about science.

Through the next few hours, Max had done everything Morgan had asked him to do. And unintentionally, Morgan walked over him, not out of spite yet Max felt as if it was. Morgan was typing into a computer to keep tabs on data. "Hey, can you check on the filter on The Tank?"

"Uh. Sure.", Max said as he turned and walked off. Walking into a room with a massive tank filled with electric eel, and a sludge like compound that enhanced their electric potential. Morgan told him that Oscorp was using this to experiment on a new form of clean energy.

"The poor soul who fell in here.", Max said jokingly as he unscrews some things in order to check on the filter, in which he did and noticed it needed to be replaced. He pulled out his phone and dialed someone, in which they answered. "Hi there's a filter that needs to be replaced-"

[Do it yourself]

Max was taken aback as the 'professional' just blew him off. He sighed as he looked on in slight fear, before walking up and carefully pulls out the filter. However a massive amount of electricity surged through him, launching him back and sending him into the tank and with the eels.

Max screamed in pain as the sludge from the tank, along with eels and the deadly power surge filled his lungs and veins with electricity. His skin began to crackle with energy, becoming blue as he lost his hair, his sclera had turned black as his normally brown irises turned a bright blue.

Alarms began to blare as he slowly stands up, covered in head to toe in electricity. In an act of fear and panic, he sends out a bolt of electricity and began causing massive damage to the labs around him. Max looked around in terror as he saw the electrical signatures of not only the power lines in the walls but people and other living things."

Before Felicia could roll his mask up, The Spider's spider sense alerted him, time slowing down for him as an explosion occurred. "Get out of here, now!", he yelled at Felicia who nodded as she ran out the building.

The Spider had no clue who or what did this, but he knew he had to help them, he needed to make sure nobody ends up like his father. He ran through the lab as he punched through a blockage of rubble, letting the people out. The Spider pulled people out of the fire and getting them out of the building as quickly and safely as possible.

He slid under a gap and picked up rubble and looked at the two people trapped under. "Go! Go! Go!", he yelled out as they ran off, the spider themed hero leapt away and ran off to help others.

The Spider finally managed to get everyone out safe, perched on a water tower as he got a call.

[Spider, we got some eye witness accounts about some guy made of electricity did all of this]

"Made of electricity... well that's a first.", The Spider chuckled in which Yuri ended the call. "Gotta find this Electro guy so he doesn't do anymore damage.", he said as he leapt off and swung away.

Somewhere else, Max was looking at his hands, pulsating with electricity. Hyperventilating and panicking, not knowing what to do or how to fix it... that's when he looked up, seeing The Spider swinging away after saving them. A massive smile grew on Max's face, the electricity coursing through his blood began to dwindle, more and more as he returned to his normal self. With only a small scar to show anything had happened.

Patrick was looking at recordings sent to him by Yuri, watching as Electro shot lightening bolts from his hands. "Huh...", he scrap these his chin as he needed to counter this. "Maybe I should update the suit? Eh why get rid of an old favorite.", he thought to himself with a chuckle.

He put on his mask and shoved his phone in his Fanny pack and swung away. Running on walls and leaping away.

{{The steady increase in the sightings of the The Spider has sparked a national debate over the roll of vigilantism in American crime fighting}}

A young dark skinned young boy, around Peter's age holding a science project as he ran into a fence after being chased by the school bullies. They pushed him and smacked his science project into the ground, they turned around as The Spider was waving at them, in which they ran away.

The Spider walked over and looked at his project. "This is a wind turbine. You made this?!", he said with a genuinely impressed tone and a smile under his mask, the child nodded as he examined it. "This is amazing.", he said as he webbed the turbine together and spun it. "Good as new, I'll walk you home.", he said as he handed him it and the two walked out the alleyway. "What's your name kid?"

"Miles.", the now named Miles said as the taller man patted his head.

{{"I don't feel like my kids are safe out there! Step out of the way and let the police do their job, and that goes for those 'Avengers'}}

The Spider swung in and saved a girl from being ran over. While later he took off his suit and tossed it aside and went to sleep to do another day of superhero-ing.

{{I'd love to know who's behind that mask}}

A series of Patrick opening and closing his closet happened within the span of a week, his costume being soaked, covered in mush, feathers and even one where he carries a mackerel.

{{"So you thought you could beat the Crimson Spider with a..."

"C'mon man don't make me said it again..."

"I only need it for the report sir. What did you use?"

"... a big wheel."

{{Lemme tell you this, that wall crawling freak is a masked menace! He causes the damage and doesn't stay and fix it at least for god sakes!}}

"Like the costume.", a woman dressed as the Statue of Liberty said as Crimson Spider nodded before walking into the street and grabbing onto a passing car

A while later he was seen taking off his soaking wet costume with seaweed attached to it, sneezing violently as it happened. "Ah great.", he said as he flipped to his bed.

A corner store cashier was being threatened by a man with a gun, before he was dragged to the back and webbed up by Crimson Spider wearing a beanie. "How much?", he asked with a stuffed nose and put cold medicine on the counter.

"You're that Spider-Guy!", the cashier quickly scanned his items.

"I'm-", Crimson Spider paused before sneezing into his mask, coughing a little bit. "I'm The Spider.", he said as he grabbed his bag of medicine as he web swung away.

Patrick was sitting on a roof with a box of pizza from a place called Leo's, texting Felicia about how they'd go about infiltrating Oscorp, with her sending sketches of a body suit as an upgrade to Patrick's rather homemade suit.

He looked up to see a burning building, slipped on his mask and swung to the building, before webbing the last piece of pizza towards him and gobbling it up.

"Hey Harry, know any map softwares? I wanna keep track of the stations you've got.", Patrick said with his phone pressed between his ear and shoulder.

[Uuhhh, I forgot the name but I'll send it to you in a second. Oh and the Stations are going well, think you can check em out?]

"Sure thing.", Patrick said as he begun the construction of his new suit. "Say, how's it going anyways?"

[Eh it's been decent recently, the place is almost ready. Cant wait to get out of here]

"Alright, see you then buddy.", Patrick hung up as he continued on with his new suit, smiling as he thinks Felicia's idea of compression based clothing would do nicely.
