Chapter 18

Two weeks later.

The final goodbyes for the perfect bond.

Tyi wasn't up to sorting out funeral arrangements…it was all too much for him, losing both his parents on the same night those two weeks ago. This was obvious because of his age…he understood death but the preparation for it was well over his head.

Enid, Elodie and Trace all helped him…though it was a difficult decisions planning a funeral, let alone for two people, he picked from the booklets what caskets he wanted and left the flower arrangement to Elodie.

KO was not a religious person, though he was opened minded…and Fink definitely wasn't, since she was a villain that caused all sorts of sins…so Tyi decided to have the funeral at his Grandma's dojo…and Elodie was to speak, taking the role of a reverent. Tyi felt he wanted to say something…but the thought of it would break him down, and though he had the support of others, he still felt alone. Enid explained to him that he wasn't force to do anything that made him uncomfortable…and yet, Tyi felt he should speak.

Tyi was staying round Trace's house…this was easier for him as he could talk to Jess whenever he felt like it…but sometimes he just wanted to be alone.

The only thing that kept him going was what Jess said…

JESS: My mom says that, the ones we lose are never far away, their never gone. They are watching you…

This memory of Jess's saying kept running through his mind…and it was something he believed in. For a child to be in the situation he was, he was very much involved…he knew he'd never see his parents again…but he wanted them to have the best send off. That's all that matter now.

He was sat on the bed, a spare room that Trace gave him…and he was wearing a white shirt and a personalised tie, which was half blue and half light green. The colours represented his parents. Blue being KO's, as his work uniform and Fink for having a unique and beautiful silk fur. He stared at a piece of paper…he was his speech, something he didn't have to do…but the list had loads of lines crossed out…and what appeared to be droplet smudges from when he was crying previously.

It was the day to say goodbye.

There was a soft knock on the door…but Tyi didn't react. Trace popped her head through the door…

TRACE: Tyi…? (Tyi started to shake) It's time. (Tyi nodded but didn't speak. Trace understood) Take your time, okay…I'll tell the drivers to wait…

TYI: No, I'm coming…I just…I just need a minute…

TRACE: Okay…

Jess walked past her mom, letting herself in. She was wearing a simple black dress. Jess sat next to Tyi…she was again lost for words. Tyi was still shaking.

TYI: Do…d-do you think they are watching now? Mom and dad, do you think they are watching.

JESS: Yes, they are…

TYI: (Sniffs) I…I just want to hear their voices again…

JESS: I know.

TYI: I…I just want to hear that…e-everything will be alright…a-and wherever they are, t-their happy…

JESS: I'm sure they are…

TYI: Then…w-why can't I accept that…?

JESS: Because…you haven't been given closure. (Holds Tyi's hands) And…today is when you can do that…

Tyi looks at Jess, she looks back…almost crying from seeing Tyi being so sad. Tyi started to quiver.

TYI: I…I don't think I can…

Tyi bursts out crying and cries into Jess's shoulder, she wraps her arms around him, comforting the best she could. But whatever she did, it didn't seem to be enough.

It was a while before Tyi came out of the room and head for the main car for him to sit in, which was behind the two hearses and an extra car at the back. There was a crowd of people outside…a lot of people. He looked around and was taken back by it all. The crowd was sombre and only one wearing hats, took them off as a mark of respect. Tyi couldn't tell but it seemed like the crowd of people went on for miles…for now, he just wanted to get in the car. Elodie and Enid were waiting for him. Both wearing black. Enid's uniform was slightly unique as she made her dress from her witches' uniform…and it looked good, despite her standing with crutches but it was better than being in a wheelchair. Elodie's uniform was pretty much the same as her POINT clothes, only with black and white pattern flowers on the skirt of the dress. Her hands were bandage but she could still use them. It looked like she was wearing fingerless gloves.

Tyi turned to see two hearses, one each containing the body and casket of his parents. The casket were surrounded with flowers and some in written form. "Kaio" and "Daddy" could be easily seen from the long hearses windows…and the second hearses had "Fink", "Mommy" and a beautiful arrangement of flowers of a control pad from her days of video gaming.

Tyi tried to smile…he knew Elodie would do a good job sorting that part out. He turned to look at her and nodded and whispered "Thank you" to her. Elodie nodded back in respect…she opened the car door for Tyi and he stepped him. Jess sighed as she watch him get in the car alone…she was about to walk to the other vehicle but Enid stopped her.

ENID: Where are you going…?

JESS: I…I was just…

ENID: (Softy) You need to sit in the main car. Tyi needs you. Me, Elodie and your mother will sit in the second car.

JESS: Oh…o-okay.

Jess turned to walk to the first black car…Elodie courteously let her in and gently closed the door.

As Jess climbed on the back, seat making herself comfortable, she saw Tyi looking out the window.

TYI: I can't believe there's a crowd…

JESS: You should do. Mr KO and Ms Fink were famous.

TYI: I know but…I didn't know many people would…come…

JESS: It shows how respected and loved your parents were…

Tyi nods and turns to Jess.

TYI: I'm glad you're sitting with me…

JESS: So am I…

Despite the situation and what's to come, they kissed each other, just a quick kiss…but it was enough to help Tyi get through this…and though this wasn't the time, Jess blushed…as did Tyi.

Elodie was talking to an undertaker…and gave the go ahead to reach the next destination. Carol's dojo shrine.

The hearses slowly paraded down the streets of Neutral zone…and Tyi couldn't believe the amount of people that stood in line, it was crowed and packed. Lots of people of all different species were chucking roses onto the front two hearses. Somehow…this was cheering Tyi up. Jess was gobsmacked with the amount of flowers being chucked at them…it truly was a mark of respect for the fallen hero and villain. Tyi didn't recognized most of the people in the crowd and yet somehow…it felt like he did. KO and Fink were hero's…and even some of Fink's fans turned up…with posters, showing how they feel. A lot of them were about her gaming…and truly missed solely in the entertainment industry.

In fact there were so many people, that even the police got involved but only for crowd control and some on motorcycles veered next to the hearses and other cars involved. Luckily, no trouble was caused…

It only occurred to Tyi, that the roads were closed, just for this occasion…something he didn't think would happen…nor did he actually want it to, in retrospect.

The journey was slow and long…it felt like they'd been on the road for hours. It was always best to take things slow, especially on days like this…

The hearses and cars arrived at Carol's dojo…it was a massive place and perfect for funeral. Tyi's heart was racing…his nerves getting the best of him.

TYI: I…I don't think I can do this…

JESS: You can…

TYI: (Shakes his head) No…I…I can't! I can't do it. I…I just can't! I can't!

JESS: (Sighs sadly) When…when my dad died…I was devastated, like you are right now. When the day came to say my goodbyes, I didn't want to…I just couldn't. I was…what my mum called grieving denial, I just didn't want to go through with it…I didn't want to say my goodbyes…I wanted to see him again, I wanted to have more memories with him…and…and that's what made it easier…

TYI: (Sniffs) How…?

JESS: That I had more great moments with my dad, than I did with sad ones. My happy memories helped me through it. (She smiles at Tyi) Think of all the good times you had with them…it will help, I promise…

TYI: Okay…(Nods) Okay…

Tyi's memories were vivid at first…but he quickly thought of some happy moments…some that only he will know, something he can keep to himself. He closed his eyes…

His first steps: Fink jumping with joy and KO taking pictures.

Practising fighting techniques with his parents.

Fink and KO joking around…and having food fights in the house.

Celebrating birthdays and Christmases, together as one…

The teachings of life itself…the love of KO and Fink absorbed into him. Loving parents that cared for their child and would always be there for him…whenever he was upset, angry and sad…but they always managed to put a smile on him in the end.

Fink and KO Singing lullaby's when falling asleep.

Tyi started to smile…his heart was still beating through unwanted adrenaline but it was controllable. He took deep breaths…he wasn't such how long he could keep up with being calm…but the memories were helping.

There was a gentle tap on the blackout window…then the door opened. Elodie was standing there.

ELODIE: Are you ready, you two…?

Tyi slowly opened his eyes…and turned to Elodie. He had a weak smile on his face and he nodded.

TYI: Yes, I'm ready…

There was still a huge crowd surrounding the dojo…as Tyi looked around he could see people crying or just simply showing their respects. He noticed that there were a mixed of hero's and villains, joined together in what is a sad moment. This cheered him up a little, as diversity seemed to be joined as one.

Tyi and the rest followed the two caskets into the dojo…as he didn't stray his eyes off the one nearest to him, the one in front of him…it was Fink's coffin. Enid and Elodie carried the wreaths like they weren't injured or struggling…they were selfless and put any pain they were experiencing behind them. Trace carried the rest. The crowd nearest to the doors, which were fenced off were still throwing roses at both the coffins. The ground was covered with them. Tyi carefully tried not to tread on any that didn't land on the coffins.

As they entered the room the big room where Carol used to do her dojo classes…and it looked absolutely beautiful…aside from pictures of fallen ones like Carol and Laserblast, with a few hinted pictures of Venomous…it was now mostly covered with pictures of KO and Fink, both when they were young and the pictures showed them gradually growing up…and then pictures of them together and with tie, which lead to the front. Flowers of all sorts matched the opposite of each other…and Carol's statue shown at the back, it seemed to light up the room. The undertakers gently put the coffins down respectively onto clothed tables. Enid and Elodie put the fonted wreaths on top of the coffins and Trace laid the rest of the flowers around the tables. Everyone had their eye on Tyi…the continuation of KO and Fink in him. He didn't look back, instead he looked at the floor after being awe by the beautiful decorations…and tried to hold it together.

They made their way to the front of the dojo. Chairs were lined up neatly and in rows…as people were making their way to their seats. Tyi sat down, with Jess next to him…and Elodie and Enid followed. Trace sat behind them but made sure to be nearer to Tyi and Jess. Music was humming quietly in the background…making it very humbler.

Elodie looked around…and the room was filling up quickly, she figured she'd stand on the podium to begin the funeral. Enid smiled weakly at her. As Elodie stood on the podium, she was sorting her papers out…a speech she had prepared.

Enid turned to Tyi, who was looking down the floor.

ENID: Tyi…? (Tyi looks up) Will you be saying something…?

TYI: (Looks away) I…I don't know…

ENID: (Softy) Well, whatever you decide, we'll support you, okay. It's up to you, okay.

TYI: (Nods) I know…

Enid could only imagine what the young lad was going through…but at the same time, Enid had lost her friend. It was sad for everyone.

The dojo was getting packed. Elodie hadn't realise the amount of people that would turn up, but then again, she wasn't that much surprised. It got to the point where the door was getting blocked, as the last of the people stepped in and the doors closed. Lots of people standing up.

The music slowly died down…and Elodie was ready to start the service.

ELODIE: Firstly. I want to thank everyone here that has turned up…it's not surprising that the two who have fallen were respected by you, the people and many, many friends. I know that not everybody can be here…but if KO and Fink were here, they'd been blessed by you all. (Intake of breathe) We here today to celebrate the life of Kaio Kincaid and Ms Fink…although both were taken so soon, they had already lead incredible lives…together. KO was brought up by his single mother Carol to be a respected, kind, gentle soul, who later in his life dedicated to help those around him. (Slight pause) Ms Fink, although a villain in her early years was also kind, humble and extremely fierce…her attitude made her what we now know, grew and love. (Slight pause) And…it was love that brought these two opposites together. But before they saw love in each other's eyes…they both saved the world, while they were just children…something that many of us could not do. Their determination, their willingness and their strength, helped defeat pure evil…so all of us, could live in peace. And for a brief period, they went their separate ways…and later acknowledging truth…and lies. But…we go back to the word "love" again…they-

Just then the doors opened up…knocking a few people out of the way. Elodie was interrupted and looked towards the doors, as did everyone else, they all turned in unison and murmurs amongst themselves who this figure was. He was just a shadow at first, but was large with the upper part of his body…a silhouette of a man, as he walked forward. The crowd murmured louder with a few gasps. Enid couldn't believe what she was seeing…she stood, almost wobbling with her feet but quickly used her crutches to hold her.

It was Mr Gar.

Mr Gar had aged, with his moustache greyer than ever, a few wrinkles on his face but other than that, he hadn't changed. He was still wearing his famous glasses. His upper body was still muscular but in an act of respect, he wore a black waistcoat…and a black tie. The room stayed silent, as they all followed his pacing towards the front. Elodie wasn't sure what to say but rather wait until Mr Gar finished what he was going.

Mr Gar was in between the coffins…he leaned towards KO's coffin first and spoke.

Mr GAR: KO…I'm extremely proud of you. I'm…I'm sorry I never got to see you again. (Sighs) Please, look after your mother in heaven. (Turns to Fink's coffin) Ms Fink…thank you for keeping this hero happy. (He then sighs) Heaven has two new angels now.

It seemed awkward but really it was sweet of Mr Gar to say his words. He turned to Enid, who was now shaking. Mr Gar didn't say anything…but walk towards her…the closer he got, the quicker Enid's eyes teared up. Mr Gar quickly hugged Enid, before she fell…and embraced each other's loss of their friends. Mr Gar kept it together, even though a tear rolled down his check. Enid was happy to see Gar again…they had acknowledged each other long enough, as Mr Gar spoke to Elodie.

Mr GAR: I'm sorry for interrupting, Ms Elodie. Please…carry on.

Mr Gar made his way to a spare chair that was next to Trace, they smiled at each other, even though they didn't know each other. Elodie nodded…and she was happy for Gar to make an appearance as well.

ELODIE: Thank you, Eugene. Thank you for those kind words. (Looks at her notes to see where she had stopped at) As I was saying, we go back to the word "Love"…such a word is powerful by all means and can be used in all context…but true love, has its meaning here. KO and Fink were in love of each other, they should that, to wherever they went…a hero and a villain together…something that seemed impossible and they both overcame that. Their love stopped discrimination, their loved showed that no matter who you were…there was always someone for you. Their love created a bond that we could all wish to have…and that same love, that same bond, created a child. KO and Fink had Tyi…who they loved dearly, who they would protect at any cost…and more importantly…be there for him. (Sighs sadly) But sadly…some bonds end. Now…we must say goodbye to our friends. Our memories of these two will live on forever and ever and will certainly be passed to the next generation of hero's…and villains. (To the coffins) KO…Fink…may you rest in peace. Together. Sleep tight.

Elodie climbed down from the podium…a lot of the funeral audience agreed to what she said. Enid stood up to hug her girlfriend, who's emotion was just about to get the best of her.

ENID: That was beautiful, Elodie.

Elodie wiped some tears. Tyi bit his lip and stood up himself, he quickly walked to the podium. Jess was surprised how quickly he moved. Tyi climbed up…and moved the microphone to his level. The crowd started to murmur again…some had never seen Tyi before, the son of the famous KO and Fink. They stared with interest. Tyi looked at the crowd, his eyes darting to random people sitting down…he started to shake.

TYI: Uh…u-um…(Pulls out his notes)…I…uh…(Near to tears) My…uh, m-mom and dad…t-they…

Enid hobbled to the podium. If anything, she wanted Tyi to say a few words…it may have been a traumatic experiences, but his intelligence and maturity were out of this world…in her heart, she knew he could do this.

ENID: Tyi…speak from the heart. Just like your parents taught you.

Tyi smiled weakly as a droplet dripped down his face. Enid moved away…as her legs were starting to ache. She sat down. The room became silent. Tyi screw up his piece of paper and chucked it.

TYI: I…I just…I just can't believe the amount of people that turned up today…to show their final respects to my mom and dad. I…I don't know you, any of you…and the fact that my parents made an impact towards your lives...means so much to me that…I…I feel I do know you…and the fact we have something in common…and that's…that's love for my mom and dad. What I see in this room…are…hero's and villains in the same room…hero's and villains sitting next to each other…hero's and villains at peace with each other….and…a-and that's something that my parents achieved, without probably knowing it. They saved the world…they defeated evil when our peace was…disturbed…but amongst all that…they…they brought us together, even if it…(Closes his eyes, tears drip down his face)…even if it's just to say our goodbyes. I…I am very lucky to have parents like them, who showed me the way, who loved me and they never thought of themselves. (A few sniffles could be heard) I…I just wish I…could've known them for much longer and add new memories. (Most people break down crying)…but the memories I have, I will always treasure. (Looks up) I know you're watching me right now…and I just want you to know…I love you both, mom and dad…I l-loove- (Tyi starts sobbing. Elodie stands next to him for support…but the young lad carries on)…I love you so much…and…a-and I'll miss you. (To the crowd) Let's try…not be sad…let's celebrate their life, because I know I will. (A little sob) The bond of good and evil. Forever and Always.

Just then the crowd stands up, in almost perfect unison and starts clapping, the sound echoing through the room…and Tyi was amazed by the response…which made him cry more…but with smile. Jess ran up to him and hugged him.

JESS: Well done, Tyi…that was wonderful.

ENID: Yes, your parents would be very proud of you.

ELODIE: I couldn't have said it better myself…

TRACE: They will be watching you, Tyi…and they would be extremely proud and honoured, to what you said.

It was starting to get overwhelming for Tyi…it seemed that the praising was pushing him to cry some more. He cried into Jess's arms…as they all hugged him. The funeral audience were still clapping, some cheering, most crying…but could all agree that KO and Fink touched their lives.

The service went on for another twenty minutes. As the doors reopened again for the crowd to disperse, some laid roses on the coffins, walking around them and slowly exciting the dojo, some cried throughout.

Tyi was still sat down…staring at the floor. Trace and Jess had already left, meeting Tyi for the next part. As the crowd was dying down, a bunch of undertakers came in, ready to take away the coffins. Enid was limping with her crutches, while Elodie sat down next to Tyi.

ELODIE: Tyi. It's time to bury them now…

TYI: I…just want a minute. Could you tell the undertakers to stop, just for a little while…?

ELODIE: (Nods) Of course…but Tyi, things like this are always hard, Tyi. But…it'll be over soon.

Tyi looks at Elodie with soaked cheeks but smiles weakly.

TYI: No. Death is just the beginning. It's…just another journey…

Elodie found this disturbing deep coming from a child…his understanding was incredible. Elodie sighed and stroked the young hybrids hair. Elodie spoke to the undertakers and they fully understood…they all left and closed the doors. The place was completely empty, indicated by the echoing of the closed doors. Tyi looked around and smiled…he wiped his eyes. He slid of the chair…and slowly walked towards the back row of chairs. He smiled…and spoke to…someone…

TYI: It's true, isn't it? Death is just another journey…

A few moments ago.

The doors opened and the crowd slowly stood up to leave…but two figures seemed to be the odd ones out, as if…they weren't there. One…was a muscular man, who has tan skin and brown-coloured eyes. He has dark brown jagged hair that is somewhat in the shape of a square at the top and is held together with a red headband and was wearing a low-cut white tank-top with a blue sleeveless jacket, which was similar to Gar's Bodega's standard uniform, and dark blue shorts. He also wears red wristbands…and the other person next to him, a female humanoid rat…she has lime green fur and long messy mint green hair. She has small ears and a long tail coming out of her blue shorts. Her sclera are light red, and she has two eyelashes on each eye. She also has a notable sharp, snaggle tooth on the right side of her mouth. She was wearing a armless lab coat…her figure was hour-shaped and a massive bust.

It…it couldn't be, could it…?

It was.

KO and Fink stood in the corner, watching the ceremony. Fink was crying, while KO had his arms around her.

FINK: This is sick…

KO: I know…but…but at least people said nice things about us…

FINK: It's not that, KO…its Tyi. Oh God, my poor son…he's all alone. I feel so…helpless.

KO: I…I know…

KO was lost for words…

FINK: This is a curse, isn't it? These…powers! We die…and we have to watch our son suffer…

KO: Well, look…w-we've been practising haven't we? We've been practising to touch adnominal objects. And we're getting close…

FINK: Oh, KO…I…I just want…I just want to let Tyi know we're still here. I just want to tell him, where ever he goes, we'll be there…

KO: We will. Just…be thankful that one day we can. It'll take time but…we will…

FINK: I…I don't think I can wait that long.

KO: Then it's more determination to practice, isn't it…?

FINK: (Sniffs) Yeah…

KO: The fact you're crying…means there's a bit of life in us afteral, right…?

FINK: I…I never noticed that before…

The crowd in no time, had disperse and the undertakers walked in to take the coffins. But Tyi was talking to Elodie about something.

FINK: What do you think he's saying…?

KO: You know we can get closer, right? No one can see us.

FINK: True…but…I'd rather not go near those coffins knowing our actual bodies are in them…

KO: Fair enough.

They watched as Elodie nodded and the undertakers didn't seem to pick up the coffins.

FINK: What's…going on…?

They all left and closed the doors. The place was completely empty, indicated by the echoing of the closed doors. Tyi looked around and smiled…he wiped his eyes. He slid of the chair…and slowly walked towards the back row of chairs. KO and Fink hugged each other, just watching their boy handle such difficult things…but something was odd with him.

TYI: It's true, isn't it? Death is just another journey…

Fink and KO gasped, or in a version they could and looked at each other…then quickly back at Tyi.

FINK: Wait…? You can…FUCKING SEE US?!

KO: FINK?!

FINK: What?

KO: Don't swear in front of him!

TYI: It's okay. I know it's a naughty word…

Fink and KO looked at each other again.

FINK: HOLY SHIT!

TYI: Hi mommy…Hi daddy…

The two parents couldn't believe what was happening…and in a sense, never could Tyi. Fink started to cry and kneeled down to give her son a hug…Tyi accepted the other, he ran towards here but…he just went through her, as she rippled like water and Tyi fell over.

FINK: Oh,…oh, Tyi…

Tyi quickly stood up and dusted himself.

TYI: It's…it's okay, I…I should've known…

KO: So you can really see us…a-and hear us…?

TYI: Yeah…

KO: I…I don't understand. How can you see us but…no one else can…?

TYI: (Shrugs) I dunno. Um…a-are…are you ghosts…?

The couple looked at each other…they weren't sure themselves.

FINK: We…don't know, sweetheart.

TYI: But…you're dead…

KO: That's more than likely, yes…

TYI: So, I can't hug you…or…feel your warmth…

KO: No…

FINK: But…we've been practicing trying to touch things in the real world, even if it's just tapping things, we've been trying to become…a reality again…

TYI: How…?

FINK: Well, you're father has a theory…

Tyi looks at his father.

KO: Right, um…w-we think when we died, our souls didn't die, only our bodies. But then we remembered that…a long, long time ago, when your grandfather was alive, he…drank the same formula that he did, all those years ago…the power wasn't turbo, he…he discovered a second chance at life…but when he died, he never had a soul because it was consumed from this evil alter ego…after all, his alter ego was technically living…so when he died, his alter ego lived on. With us…we're just souls in our pure form. Practically ghosts…

TYI: But…you've died before, didn't you? I…I remember giving you light when…I was unborn…(*Read: The Bond of Good and Evil 2)

FINK: We…may have seemed like we died…but our hearts kept beating, despite our last breaths. If our heart carried on, then eventually the body would try to…I dunno, jump start, I guess…

TYI: It's…all too confusing. It doesn't make sense…

FINK: Oh, believe me, honey, we know…we know…

TYI: So…a-are you going away…again…?

KO: No.

FINK: No, sweetie. We're not going anywhere.

TYI: (Starts crying) I wish…I could hug you…

FINK: Oh, so do I, sweetheart.

TYI: I missed you…

KO: So did we. We had to come today…

TYI: But why didn't you…(Sniffs)…see me earlier…

FINK: Honey, we just died…despite being souls, ghosts or whatever…it…was a traumatic experience for us…we didn't know what to do…

TYI: I didn't know what to do…I was alone…

FINK: Oh, Tyi…I'm so sorry…

TYI: (Wipes his tears) But…but it's okay, because you're here now…and I know you're okay. And you'll never leave me again…?

KO: No, son. We're staying put.

After wiping away a few tears, a light bulb appeared…Tyi had an idea.

TYI: Wait…i-if you're just souls…then, all you need is a vessel…? (KO and Fink looked at each other, probably knowing where this was going) Yeah, that's it! A vessel…m-maybe Dendy can help with that!

FINK: Dendy has done more than enough!

KO: (Quickly whispers) Shall we tell him, we saw her…?

FINK: (Whispers also) No…at least not now. Because I still don't understand how she could see us, either…

TYI: But she can-

KO: Tyi, the reason we're this way is because of Dendy.

TYI: But…but she…she can make amends…

Fink and KO looked at each other again, they both sighed.

FINK: Look, sweetie…we're tired. We've had our fun…it's been a long journey and for us to be flesh again is…well, we just want to be like this…

TYI: But you said-

KO: Tyi, whatever we are now…we can be whole again. Eventually. It make takes days, months, maybe even years. We're starting off slow…but we hope…(Looks at Fink)…we can be a family again.

TYI: Really…?

FINK: We've suffered so much, Tyi…and these last few weeks for you, is something…in some way…good. I know that sounds awful…but, I'm glad you've experienced it. Life is hard. But you are special, extremely special and I'm sooo proud of you. But…we need to figure this out on our own. And one day…we'll hug again.

Tyi was mixed with all sorts of emotions…he wiped his eyes once again. He wanted to be angry…but he just simply couldn't. He smiled at his mom and dad…

TYI: At least…you'll be here when I can finally hug you again.

FINK: Like I said…we're not going anywhere.

KO: And when you and Jess, get older, start kissing, get married maybe-

TYI: (Chuckles) DAD?!

KO: (Chuckles himself) We'll be out of your way.

TYI: Hmph. Thanks daddy…

KO: We love you, son.

FINK: With all our heart and soul…

It was becoming overwhelming…just then the doors gently opened…and Elodie poked her head through.

ELODIE: Tyi…are you okay…?

TYI: (Smiles at his parents) Yeah…yeah, I really am.

ELODIE: Uh, okay. Who were you talking you…?

TYI: My parents.

ELODIE: Oh?

TYI: Yeah. Because they're here, with me…

ELODIE: Oh, Tyi. Of course they are…

The undertakers came in to get the coffins. Tyi smiled once more at his parents, who waved back. The couple watched the undertakers lift up their coffins.

KO: Wanna watch the burial…?

FINK: That is fucked up! (Nods) Sure.

Just then…they turned into a pool of green and blue liquid respectively. The same thing that happened to Shadowy Figure. They didn't have the heart to tell Tyi that part…though still ghostly souls.

In the middle of a plaza was a giant statue made of gold. It was of KO and Fink, they were in a pose. KO looked like he was doing an uppercut, but his face had a wide opened mouth smile on it…a fist bump into the air. Fink was in a more seductive pose, with a hand on her hip and the other doing a peace sign, winking and sticking her tongue out. The likeness was uncanny and incredible. Between the two was a massive red heart, which had the engraving "Forever and Always"…and around the concrete stand the statues were on…had a gold plaque at the front, which read:

"Kaio Kincaid and Fink

The True Bond of Good and Evil

Now loving asleep together.

Rest In Peace."

It was beautiful, and to be made within two weeks is nothing sort of a miracle. Below the statues was a stairwell…that lead to the graves of the fallen hero and villain. Their wooden caskets put in concreate coffins. Again the crowd, started crying. Rad was in denial over this, but he kept the shop open, as that what KO would've wanted and was giving free drinks away to everyone who wanted one, especially to the ones waiting for a long time…he had his cry but wanted to be strong, through this.

A crane was lowering a massive bullet proof-glass box, which surround the statute, so it was never to be vandalized. Though no one would dare to…not even future generations to come. The statue was sealed, with a little opening that only lead to the stair-well…and the statue couldn't be touched.

It was weird for Tyi to say his goodbyes, even though his parents were a few yards away from him. It was strange…but it was like a new beginning. Jess was standing next to Tyi.

JESS: Do you think they would like it…?

TYI: (Smiles) Yes. I know they would.

Jess smiles at Tyi and then rests her head on Tyi's shoulder. He puts his arm around her.

Fink and KO looked at the statue.

KO: I must admit…they got my figure right.

FINK: They made my tits and ass big.

KO: Looks good to me…

Fink rolled her eyes and then noticed something going on in KO's pants.

FINK: Wait…?

KO: W-What…?

FINK: (Points) Are you…getting an erection?

KO: (Looks down) I, uh…I…well, the statue of you…has made you look…b-busty…

FINK: Is that even fucking possible?

KO: Um…(Shrugs)…

FINK: Huh. (Bits her lip) I wonder what soul sex is like…?

KO: Really, Fink…? At this time…

FINK: Hey, don't blame me, Mr Bulge! I'm not the one getting excited. (And yet, somehow…Fink felt a twinge) Ooo…

KO: Uh, you okay…?

FINK: Holy shit. I…I think my pussy tingled…

KO: How is this-?

FINK: Don't care! (Pulls KO) Let's go back to the cabin!

KO: What about Tyi…?

FINK: He's proved to us that he can take on anything.

KO: Okay. (Still being pulled) You know, we could just…you know, right here. Nobody can see us!

FINK: Tyi can! Plus, I don't wanna take that risk of being exposed while riding your dick!

KO: Oh, s-sure…

With that, Fink and KO formed into puddles…and disappeared to leave for the cabin. Tyi could knew what they were doing, even if he didn't fully understand it himself.

The crowd was still in awe with the statue…and loads were still mourning. The ceremony was just perfect. Trace tugged at Tyi's hand.

JESS: Mom's made some food back home. We're going now, if you'd like.

TYI: I…I am a little hungry…

TRACE: (Overhearing) I made enough for Ms Elodie and Ms Enid to join us.

ELODIE: I…I can't come. I have a lot to do at POINT.

ENID: Maybe today's the today to forget about that. It's what KO and Fink would've wanted.

ELODIE: Well, I guess you're-…(Spots something) No…

ENID: What…?

ELODIE: (Points) Her!

Everyone turns to where Elodie was pointing…and it was at Dendy. Dendy was wearing a black dress, almost like the others…in fact she actually looked better in a dress. Dendy tried to stay away…but it was hard not to show her respects. Dendy saw that Elodie was pissed at her…the kappa looked away. Dendy figured this was a bad idea.

ELODIE: (Walking towards Dendy) You have some NERVE, YOU CRAZY KAPPA!

Though Enid was using crutches, she was still quick and pulled Elodie back, as did Trace. Dendy looked away…but Elodie pushed through her friends, who were trying their best to hold her back. All Dendy wanted to do was show up without being seen…but failed that simple mission.

ENID: Elodie! Stop it!

ELODIE: NOT TILL I KICK THE SHIT OUT OF HER!

Tyi then ran in front of Dendy, who was surprised. As were the others!

TYI: Stop it! (Spreads his arm out)

ELODIE: Tyi…? (Shakes her head) No, Tyi, get out of the way, she needs to suffer the consequences!

TYI: She already has!

ELODIE: Has she bollocks!

TYI: She has! I want you to leave her alone! My…my parents would not want this…

ELODIE: (Sighs) Tyi, if your parents were here-

TYI: Then they would forgive her! Please, Ms Elodie…this isn't about you, or Ms Dendy…this is about my mom and dad.

ELODIE: (Calms down) You're…y-you're right…I'm…sorry…

TYI: (Almost crying) Despite what's happened…I've forgiven Ms Dendy! And…and if I can forgive her, then so can you.

Elodie looks at Dendy, who was still full of guilt and remorse.

ELODIE: Maybe in the future, I'll forgive you…(Shakes her head)…but not right now…

Elodie walks off in a slight huff. Enid sighs…and indicates that she'll follow her girlfriend, but not before looking at Dendy.

ENID: You should thank Tyi for forgiving you.

DENDY: I do…

ENID: (Sighs) If…Tyi can forgive you, then so can I. (Turns around) Good to see you again, Dendy. Good luck…you'll need it.

With that, Enid follows Elodie. Dendy looks at the floor. Trace and Jess felt awkward…that wanted to cue their leave.

TRACE: Um, Tyi…we'll be in the car, okay…?

TYI: Thank you.

JESS: I'll see you soon.

Tyi smiles back at Jess, as she follows her mother. Dendy was shaking.

DENDY: You didn't have to do that…

TYI: I had to. Despite what's happened…you've done more for my parents than I can imagine. And…and I know you didn't want it this way. How could've you known…it'd end up this way.

DENDY: (Cries a little) You're so forgiving. Just like KO…and Fink…

TYI: (Shrugs) I…I just know that they are happy…

DENDY: (Gasps a little) You saw them, didn't you…?

Tyi looks up and frowns, a bit surprised by this…

TYI: Uh, y-yeah…

DENDY: I knew you would…

TYI: Wait, what…? How do you know…?

DENDY: Because I saw them too…

TYI: H-How…?

DENDY: Love, Tyi, love…

TYI: I don't understand…

DENDY: I used to love your father, in my eyes he wasn't just my friend…but, it was never meant to be…but still, it never stopped me for having feelings for him…and your mother too. I wanted what they both had.

TYI: Which was…

DENDY: Each other.

TYI: (Blinks and looks confused) You loved both my parents.

DENDY: Yes.

TYI: But…but if that's the case, how come nobody else saw them…?

DENDY: Well, my theory is…that my love was because of true feelings and your love, was that they were your parents. Anybody else doesn't see them in that light. Yes, there is love…but our love was much, much more…in different aspects.

TYI: Wow…

DENDY: And they did forgive me. They…came to me. Of course, they were angry…but when they realised the power they had after death, they forgave me. It's why they came to their own funeral…to see if you could see them.

TYI: Wow…I…I wish they explained that to me…

DENDY: It's…too much for you to process. When you're older, I'm sure they'll explain. To us, they are not dead…but I reckon one day, their souls will be…alive.

TYI: I…didn't think you believed in that sort of thing…

DENDY: (Smiles weakly) I believe in what I see…with results, or my eyes.

TYI: (Smiles) I…I guess this is a new chapter for both of us…

DENDY: All of us, Tyi. All of us.

As time went on…people slowly got back to their lives.

Tyi and Jess were still training at POINT, with Elodie and Enid still teaching them. Tyi and Jess would still live at POINT for the week, until the weekend, where Tyi lived with Trace and Jess. And Tyi…finally found the courage to say this:

TYI: Um…J-Jess…?

JESS: Yes, Tyi…

TYI: Uh…(Blushing) Will…w-will you be my…uh, boyfriend, NO! I m-mean…G-Girlfriend…? (Jess looked at him shockingly and gasped) Oh no! I…I'm sorry…I was j-just…

JESS: Yes!

TYI: Oh man, I…(Realises) Uh, w-what…?

JESS: Yes. (Smiles and blushes) I will be your girlfriend.

TYI: Uh…(Smiles wildly) Uh, cool, cool! (Fist pumps the air) YES!

Jess giggles and gives him a pick on the cheek…she could've sworn she saw love hearts in his eyes.

Aside from spending time with Jess…Tyi would sometimes go to his old home, the cabin in the forest, since his parents still took residents, always practising to touch things through their power of their souls…

Mr Gar returned to his shop…and took up KO's employment of Judy. Her and Rad became wonderful employees. Every day, he'd go to KO and Fink's statute monument and visit Carols, afterwards.

Dendy still worked at the POW industry…but she destroyed all her experiments or cloning. Now, she only invented things for hospitals…while still updating POW cards. It took her a long time…but she finally managed to move on.

As for our hero and villain…well, despite being souls, that could turn into liquid form. They kept their promise by being with Tyi, where ever he went…and sometimes they would have their alone time…

They could now move objects, with their fingertips…

Their second life…was becoming fulfilling.

KO and Fink were on a hill top. Fink was on top of KO…his cock still proving it's worth, even in the form they were in. They were coming to the end…as Fink bounced on his cock and could feel some sort of release…as she arched her back…and screamed in pleasure, as did KO.

Fink leaned forward and kissed her ghostly wetish partner…she panted.

FINK: Ooooh fuck~…even as souls, you still make me cum…I can't fucking believe that's possible.

KO: (Panting) Me neither…

Fink climbed off KO, and snuggled next to him…both naked but they didn't care, nobody could see them.

FINK: I'm…happy. We're finally at peace…

KO: Yeah…imagine the look on everyone's face if they could see us...if our souls become flesh…

FINK: That'd be fucking fucked up…considering they mourn for us. (Giggles) That's evil. I love it~

KO: I love you~

FINK: Oh, I love you too~

They kissed…even as souls, their touching was real. They both sighed happily…and watch the sun go down, still feeling each other's naked bodies. They both smiled, as they still had each other.

The sun disappeared bring and brings an end to another day…and an end to their adventures.

Together. Forever and Always.

The Bond of Good and Evil.

THE END.

Finally. It's the end of what's been a fantastic writing experience.

And I guess you have some questions…

Why did I kill off KO and Fink?

I mean, I wanted to end the series. I brought them back as sort of ghosts but to me they are still dead. I've written six stories and I could easily write another six…but I don't want to, its material that'll eventually go stale and I didn't want that…I'm lucky to write six and six is a nice number to finish on. Plus I like killing off characters that I love. That's just my thing. It's…kinda like my signature thing.

Will I do anymore stories?

I mean…I've changed my mind before but I'm quite serious that I won't do anymore. However, fact that you guys like Tyi and Jess is remarkable, considering Jess was only meant to have a small part…and some of you have said in reviews and PM that you'd like a spin-off of them two…we'll see. Nothing's planned yet. But as for Fink and KO…there journey has ended. Also, I don't do prequels, at least not anymore...it's why I use flashbacks.

You didn't have to kill KO and Fink though…

I like killing off characters that I love. That's just my thing. It's…kinda like my signature thing.

This was confusing…

I blame 2020…

NOTES: Well, that's it. An end of an era. Over a year doing six stories and actually chuffed I finished it before the New Year. It has been an experience but more importantly fun. I've loved writing all these stories. Fink and KO is definitely my favourite ship and I only do sequels if I'm confident with the characters themselves. Six…? Fuck me. Then again, I did six stories for FNAF…but that was a sell-out period. It may not be the end you wanted…but for me, it is.

I just want to thank:

You guys have been great, honest and quite frankly patience with me. Your reviews mean so much to me (And yes, I've said this all the time when I finish a story) but it's true. I really can't thank you guys enough.

But, it ends here. No cryptic clues and no teasers.

Guys, it's been an honour. Take care and stay safe.
