Agent Venom: Agent Venom reporting for duty! After raiding Nega's space station to save Weiss, that bastard got cocky to reveal my secret identity to her and my friends. He got ahold of the Chaos Emeralds and used his time machine to trap Sonic, Tails, and the Spider-Men in a void outside of time, leaving Silver and I to stop Nega before he resets the timeline! Mark my words, Nega! I WON'T let you get away with this!

Issue 17: Total Mayhem (Part 2)- Revenge of the Egg-emy

Solaris Prototype Chamber, Meteor Base Zone

BGM-Sonic: Before the Sequel OST-Ode to Shattered Illusions

"This is it, Eggman Nega! We won't let our friends' sacrifice be in vain!" declared Silver, as he and Agent Venom confront the massive Death Egg Robot-like mech, the Egg Chronos. In the viewing room above the chamber, Weiss is sealed within the room. Her weapon was confiscated, and her powers are shut off by the inhibitor collar. All she could do is watch her friends fight their best against Eggman Nega.

Silver flies upwards, as Venom tosses him several grenades to telekinetically throw at the Egg Chronos. "You are doing a pathetic job avenging them!" taunted Nega, wielding the Chronoblade and uses its time powers to freeze the grenades in midair, then effortlessly repel them back at Silver and Venom, "My Egg Chronos wields the Chronoblade! Its time powers are MINE to command! And in mere moments, my Solaris Prototype will reach full power, and I will rule over ALL OF TIME!" He proclaimed arrogantly.

"Meaning we must crush your clocks before you crush ours!" said Agent Venom, lunging to punch the glass on the mech's chest, damaging it.

"You won't be crushing anything if you can't break out of this time loop!" Nega fiercely swings his blade at Venom, smacking him to a wall. "Time out!" He points his blade as it glows with quantum energy, rewinding time on Venom and watches him repeatedly slam into the wall, much to the doctor's amusement as he laughs, "I could do this all day. But I have a schedule to keep."

"Good, 'cause we're DONE playing games!" retorts Silver, projecting a powerful blast of telekinetic energy that knocks back Nega, thus freeing Venom from his time-bending powers. The psychic hedgehog hovers while forming multiple psychic knives and relentlessly throws them at Nega, pinning him down, "Weiss! You gotta find a way to shut down his time machine, and free Sonic and the others from that temporal void!" He ordered her.

"How?! I'm not a tech wiz like Iron Man! And Eggman tech is notoriously weird!" Weiss retorted.

Agent Venom whips out his twin submachine guns and unload a bullet barrage at the Egg Chronos, while its distracting fending off Silver, "You're still the smartest and most beautiful woman in the world! I know you can do it!"

"Flattery will NOT excuse the earful that you're receiving after this!" retorts Weiss, still upset at Flash for hiding his double life as Venom while desperately interacting with the control panel that works the Solaris Prototype, trying to shut it off.

Egg Chronos launches an explosive gravity bomb at Venom, hurting him and knocking him down, "I know, and I deserve it! Just don't yell at me while I'm wearing the symbiote!"

"ALL of you are fools if you think you can stop my glorious invention!" mocks Nega, summoning missiles from across time and fires them at Venom.

"Don't underestimate us, Egghead!" quips Flash, swinging away from the missiles until he passes Silver, who effortlessly grabs the missiles and hurls them back at Nega's mech, nearly knocking it down.

"And you imbeciles shouldn't underestimate ME!" Nega unleashes a beam of powerful quantum energy from his chest, hitting Venom and severely wounds him. Silver flies around the mech and continues throwing psychic knives to damage it. In retaliation, Nega uses the Chronoblade to temporarily freeze the hedgehog in time. While he's immobilized, he creates a moving rift in time that sucks up Silver, who screams in pain from within the rift as it grows in strength. After a short time, the rift explodes, damaging and knocking down Silver, leaving him unconscious for a while.

BGM-Sonic X OST-Eggman Machine

Meanwhile with Weiss, she is pushing her brain to the limit while typing rigorously on the time machine's interface, "Can't seem to find the emergency shut down command." She exasperates, "Why does future technology have to be so darn complicated? Maybe I should take the Yang approach and tear everything apart." She then notices several suspicious equipment on several terminals next to her, which gives her an idea, "No no no, wait! These look like power cells! Pulling them out SHOULD shut it down, or more likely cause the entire base to explode." She sighs in frustration and annoyance.

"What's the hold up?!" said Flash, shouting at his girlfriend while charging towards Egg Chronos, who warps away from his Web Strike and counters with a vicious sword swing, smacking him into the ceiling.

"I'm working as fast as I can, or do you want the entire universe to explode?!" retorted Weiss.

"WORK FASTER!" Venom shouted, as he falls from the ceiling and Egg Chronos smacks him again towards a wall.

"You have NO RIGHT to rush me after lying to me for days!" She retorted angrily.

"Hope it's not too late for me to say sorry…" Flash quips weakly while cratered into the wall. He then jumps off the wall, charging towards Egg Chronos.

"Time's up, Agent Venom!" said Nega, commanding his mech to grab the soldier and crushes him into the wall with one hand. With the hand wielding the Chronoblade, he raises it into the air and manipulates its power to emits a sound frequency that specifically hurts Venom, causing him to roar out in pain and forcing him to retract his mask, revealing his real face.

"FLASH!" Weiss shouted in distress for her boyfriend, watching as he is about to be killed by Eggman Nega.

"I'll crush you, Thompson! This is the END for you and the Venom legacy!" mocks Eggman Nega, as he is just moments away from killing the symbiote soldier.

While screaming, Flash endures the extremely painful loud noise while struggling to push himself out of Egg Chronos' grip, "YOU AIN'T TAKING ME DOWN! SPIDER-MAN WOULD NEVER GIVE UP, AND NEITHER WILL IIIIIIIII…!"

BGM-Sonic X OST-Sonic's Fight

Responding to his willpower and strength, the symbiote willingly becomes one with its host, morphing Flash into his Monstrous Form as he burst out of Egg Chronos' hand and lands on the ground, confronting the mech with a death glare. "WHAAAAT?! Where did this power come from?! He's somehow resisting the noise!" questioned Nega, as he is caught off-guard by Venom's explosive strength.

"You bet I am! And that blade doesn't belong to you!" declares Venom, temporarily growing to immense size to match the Egg Chronos and disarm it of the Chronoblade by slashing down the arm that was wielding it.

"NOOOOO! THE CHRONOBLADE!" Nega shouted in distress.

Agent Venom shrinks down to his normal size and picks up the large Chronoblade, as the nanotech in its design shrinks to be properly wielded by the symbiote soldier. He stares deeply at the OOPArt as if he is speaking to it, understanding it, "Yes, I understand…The Chronoblade is telling me what to do. Silver!" He uses the blade to create a predestination paradox to rapidly heal the psychic hedgehog.

Silver gasps, as he slowly stands on his feet and looks at himself in confusion, "Huh? I'm healed?"

"Keep Nega busy! Weiss!" Flash then looks up at his girlfriend, "Take out the power cell on your right!"

"If you say so." said Weiss, quickly taking out the chosen power cell, as she instantly prepares herself for an explosion, which didn't happen, much to her relief.

'Warning: Power down initiated.' said the base's computer, as the time machine shuts down. 'Time shifts detected. Do you wish to intervene?' It says, projecting a holographic interface for Weiss to interact.

Weiss smiles, "I think the proper term is 'meddle'."

"What do you think you're doing?! The Solaris Prototype was at a very delicate stage!" shouted Nega, worrying as his grand plan is falling apart.

"Too bad for you!" quips Weiss, reversing the damage Nega has wrought on the planet. All the time distortions that were plaguing the world are wiped from existence. Dinosaurs, pirates, old war planes among other time-displaced items are sent back to their respective times. And all the Iblis Monsters were also erased from the world, stopping their monstrous rampage.

Inside the chamber, Sonic, Tails, and the Spider-Men were free from their temporal prison as they fall down from the machine in top of the room. "Boy, do I feel dizzy…" Tails says groggily.

"Hey! We're not stuck in limbo anymore!" Sonic notices with a smile.

"Thank goodness you guys are okay." said Agent Venom, approaching his rescued friends and surprising them of his savage appearance.

"Whoa! Flash? You still in there?" Peter asks worriedly.

"Of course I'm here. Where would I be?" Venom replied casually, surprising and impressingly Peter that he's in complete control of the symbiote.

Quickly, the reunited heroes notice Egg Chronos firing an energy beam from its remaining hand and quickly dodge it. "Not being blasted by a killer clock robot!" Miles quipped.

Eggman Nega growls angrily at his enemies, "Curse you all! You're ruining everything!"

"That's the idea!" quips Flash, unleashing a powerful blast from the Chronoblade to wound the mech.

Sonic and Tails launch their own Spin Dashes at the mech, disorienting it to give Silver the chance to paralyze it. Miles zips to the air and webstrikes the head key, badly stunning the mech while Peter latches webbing on its remaining arm, "Let me give you a hand!" and rips it off. Agent Venom lunges forward to impale the robot through the chest, which blasts him down and scares away the other heroes with missiles as retaliation.

"It's not over yet! I can still regain control of the Solaris Prototype! Just give me a moment…!" proclaims Nega, while desperately trying to regain control of his time machine.

Sonic then looks at the wall containers containing the Chaos Emeralds and gets an idea. Smiling, he jumps and uses his Homing Attacks to quickly smash through the containers and nab all seven Chaos Emeralds. "Your time has run out, Nega!" The hedgehog taunts the scientist.

"No, BRING THEM BACK!" Nega yells in horror and despair.

Grasping on two Chaos Emeralds in midair, Sonic's hands glow while surrounding his entire body with immense chaos energy. With a loud battle cry, Sonic pierces through the back of the Egg Chronos, causing the terrified Nega to scream, "AAAAAAAAH!" Sonic rapidly blasts through the Egg Chronos before smashing him into the main reactor containing Iblis.

"Oh no! I gotta get outta here! YOU'LL REGRET THIS!" Eggman Nega flies out of his mech on his Egg Mobile, as the Egg Chronos explodes. The explosion also causes Nega to accidently drop the Sol Vessel, the ancient container that contained Iblis for centuries.

"Is that…?" Tails spots the Sol Vessel on the ground, running towards it to pick it up for safekeeping, and future research.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog 4 OST-Bomber Barbara (Part 2)

Agent Venom regresses back to his normal form while watching Eggman Nega fleeing from his space station, as the whole base starts collapsing and exploding from the ruptured reactor, "Nega's escaping!"

Meanwhile, Peter kicks through the glass of the viewing room to rescue Weiss, grabbing and holding her like a princess. "Forget about him! This entire space station is falling apart! We needed to move like YESTERDAY!" shouted Peter, as the heroes are quick to run out of the exploding chamber.

"Tails, can you call in the jet for a quick pick up?!" Sonic asked while running through the exploding base.

"I can't! Electro's group must've recovered and escaped on it!" retorts Tails holding his handheld, unable to call in the SHIELD jet as it has been hijacked by the Lethal Legion.

As they pass the hanger, Silver was quick to spot a large spaceship inside, "In here! We can escape in that ship!"

"TAILS, get this thing up and outta here!" shouts Peter, as the heroes desperately rush into the Egg Jet as intense flames erupt explosively around them.

Tails hurries to the pilot seat and hacks into the controls, activating the rocket ship. The Egg Jet ascends into the air as the hanger continues exploding in flames, "HOLD ON!" Tails shouted, propelling the ship forward through a runway, then flies out of an asteroid, just as the entire Meteor Base, and the asteroid belt, gets consumed in a massive explosion.

Miles watches the Meteor Base get completely destroyed in the explosion and lets out a big sigh of relief, believing that the threat has ended, "We just barely made it outta there."

"Is everyone alright? Talk about cutting it close." asks Tails, flying the spaceship towards Mobiant Earth.

"We're fine, little bro. Just fly us back home safe and sound." replied Sonic, sitting and leaning next to a wall to relax on after narrowly escaping death.

Meanwhile, Agent Venom struggles to rip the inhibitor collar off of Weiss' neck, "Just give me 'nother second…" He says as he successfully rips off the inhibitor collar with a grunt, "There you go. Your powers should be coming back at any moment." And then, unsurprisingly, Weiss slaps him, "Of course, you never needed them for that." He joked.

"I can't believe you! All this time, you've been leading this double life. LYING to me. Risking your life by being BONDED to a SYMBIOTE! How long?!" said Weiss, angry and upset at her boyfriend for lying to her these past few days.

"I-It was after bowling night. Nick Fury visited my apartment and offered me to join a program called Project Rebirth 2.0." Flash answered, albeit with slight nervousness.

"Fury offered you to become the next Captain America, using VENOM?! And you ACCEPTED?! You know how dangerous symbiotes are! You know what they can do to you! You know how they can CHANGE you!" Weiss retorted.

Flash tries to argue, "I know that, but-?"

"But WHAT, Eugene?!" Weiss fiercely cuts him off with a stern glare directed at him, "It wasn't that long ago you lost your legs, but now you're willing to sacrifice your humanity to this parasite? What if you lost control, and I was forced to fight you, without knowing it was YOU wearing that thing until it was too late? Do you know how I would feel? Because you weren't brave enough to tell me the truth earlier? Just what exactly are you trying to prove that doesn't involve being selfish?!" She asks him an upfront question.

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Chip's Memories

Flash stares at the floor depressingly, "That…" He pauses, retracting his mask to confront his girlfriend with his true face, "I'm a changed man." He answered, staring at the eyes of his girl with a serious demeanor.

"Huh?" questioned Weiss, looking a little confused and curious.

Flash explains himself, "Most of my life I was a bully. Unleashing my anger in torturing guys like 'puny' Peter Parker." He said, unknowingly making Spider-Man flinch while he continues talking, "But it wasn't anger. It was fear. A fear of being powerless. That's what I got from growing up under an abusive dad. It's why I looked up to guys like Spider-Man. Guys like him, they're ALWAYS in control. Never scared. It was that admiration, that borderline hero worship, that set me on the straight and narrow. That's why I WILLINGLY volunteered for service instead of being conscripted, and it's the same reason why I WILLINGLY signed up to be Agent Venom, because I want to help others, no matter the cost. I knew bonding with the symbiote was risky, that's why I didn't tell you. But I also didn't tell you that I've been…feeling guilty taking you for granted lately."

"Feeling guilty?" Weiss questioned with a sadden look.

"Ever since I lost my legs, you've always been there for me. Taking care of me, and I appreciate that. But there are times when I feel like I've been taking too MUCH of your time, away from your friends and your jobs. And if we want this relationship to stick, I needed to pull my weight again." Flash explains his reasons.

"And you thought bonding with an evil symbiote would help you pull the weight and help people?" Weiss quipped.

Fury sheepishly rubs the back of his head, "Fury DID make me an offer that I couldn't refuse. Honestly, I was THAT desperate to help people, and a little excited when I was told I'd be a military-grade Spider-Man." He said, unknowingly getting a little smile from his girlfriend, "I just wanted to be a hero like all of you guys, but I've come to realized that being a superhero…ISN'T as glamorous as I thought."

"No it's not. I came to that realization a long time ago." said Weiss, somberly recalling a life-changing talk she had with the members of Team RWBY during their first mission at Mountain Glenn years ago, "At the end of the day, as heroes or huntsmen, it's a job to protect the people. And whatever we want comes next." She said calmly.

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-No Reason

"Y'know…" speaks Sonic, getting the attention of the couple, "For a rookie hero, Flash, I say you're a cut above the rest. You helped us find the Chaos Emeralds, stop the time rifts, and defeat Eggman Nega before he conquered all of time. You were pretty cool today, and it's not just me being bias as your name reminds me of me." He smiles while throwing a thumbs up at the rookie hero.

"We would've been stuck in limbo if it wasn't for you." Tails smiled at Flash.

"You were coming to our rescue when me and Spidey were captured by Nega." Miles stated.

"You helped us stop those villains at Toy Kingdom, Morgan le Fay, Carnage. And you must've been the same one that saved us from Doctor Doom. You were watching our backs the entire time." said Silver, cheering up the symbiote soldier.

Peter walks towards his biggest fan, "AND as an expert in all things symbiote, you were showing some impressive control over yours. Though we're still getting it removed because I hate evil alien slime, and Fury needs a SERIOUS chewing out, you're the best Venom this world has seen yet! We were lucky to have you on this mission." He pats his friend's shoulder to compliment his good deeds today.

Flash nods with a smile from all the praise, "Thanks Spidey. All of you. That means a lot."

Weiss shrugs with a warm smile, "Well, I guess I CAN forgive you for being a reckless idiot. Helping to save the world is a good start to get on my good side again." She blushes, sharing a kiss with her boyfriend as an act of forgiveness.

But when they break apart, Weiss' tone and expression changes to a serious and stern one, "But don't EVER lie to me again!" She said, causing Flash to grin nerviously before they hug again.

Peter chuckles at the couple's little antics before turning to Tails, "Alright Tails. Take us back to New Vale so we can-."

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-My Perfect Plan

Suddenly, Peter, alongside Miles, senses something mysterious and powerful nearby. It's a flaming meteor made from the debris of destroyed Meteor Base, and it's flying past the ship at worrisome speeds towards Mobiant Earth. "It didn't hit us. So why is my Spider-Sense still tingling? Is it going to crash into a city?" wonders Peter, staring at the mysterious meteor heading for his planet.

Tails checks the ship's interface for confirmation, "Unlikely. According to my sensors, that meteor will harmlessly crash into the river next to the Mystic Ruins."

"Could that've been Eggman Nega?" Sonic wondered.

"Or could it have been…Iblis?" Peter questions while tapping his muzzle, getting more worried. With a stern look on his face, Peter says, "Tails. Hurry and take us to the Mystic Ruins. Dunno why, but I'm getting a bad feeling that the world is still in grave danger." Tails acknowledges his request and flies the ship faster towards the planet to confront this latest threat to the planet.

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-2-Player Select

KFX Here: The finale to Total Mayhem is next, ladies and gentlemen! Eggman Nega is seemingly defeated, so what is this new threat? Most of you should already know the answer, so I'll leave the rest of you in suspense. I promise you won't wait long. This story is concluding this week!

Note: At the time this chapter was published, I am aware that the Fanfiction website is on the fritz and most of you are unable to read my latest uploads. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to fix this as it's the website's problem. I can recommend you the Fanfiction App on your phone since that's working fine. Dragen slayer: They only dated briefly, maybe because Anti-Venom tried to destroy the Toxin Symbiote under the belief it was corrupting her.
