Astoria Delivers The Ransom Note
Astoria finally made it to the castle and she was trying to find a way to get inside. She saw a chimney, which had smoke coming out of it, so she decided to go for it. She made it into the kitchen and saw Molly cooking something. When she made it to the table, she saw a dead duck lying on it. When she saw Molly reading a cookbook and coming towards her, she laid on the duck. Without noticing, Molly grabbed Astoria and started plucking her feathers off.
Molly: Okay. Next, we pluck the duck. Add a pinch of basil. A pinch of… Fennel. Yummy.
While she was plucking the feathers off Astoria, Draco came in to ask her something about Harry.
Draco: Molly, have you seen Harry?
Molly: Not since he and Ron left in the carriage.
That got him thinking about that and began to worry when Molly then tried to calm him.
Molly: I hope you find them soon. I'm making your favorite.
Draco wasn't even paying attention and left to find Harry again which really puzzled Molly.
Molly: It used to be his favorite.
With Molly's attention to the doorway that Draco left from, Astoria grabbed the pepper shaker and shook in front of Molly's face. Once Molly sneezed, Astoria grabbed the dead duck and gave it to her.
Molly: I mean, that's a good looking duck.
Astoria flew out of the kitchen and into the dining hall to put the note in one of the bowls so Draco could see it. She then hid behind one of the chairs when she heard Draco's voice calling Harry's name.
Draco: Harry?
When he went inside the dining hall, he noticed the note, picked it up and read it. Once he read it he began to panic and ran off.
Draco: No!
Once Draco was gone, Astoria came out of hiding and was going to fly out but she didn't see a broken floorboard right in front of her and tripped. When she tripped, she noticed that her foot got stuck. Back with Draco, he ran to the room that held the chest with Voldemort's notes inside. When he looked in, he saw that it was gone and began running to the stables to get his horse.
Draco: No!
When he got to the stables, he began riding his horse without noticing Blaise, who was nearby. He was wondering what was wrong with Draco when Ron came running towards him, calling his name frantically.
Ron: Blaise! Blaise! Something terrible has happened!
Blaise: What happened, Ron? What is going on?
Ron: It's Harry and Pansy! They fell into a ravine, but before they got to the bottom, a green ball of fire picked them up and floated them away!
Blaise: Don't worry, Ron. Draco will find them and bring them home.
Ron: I hope that you're right.
Blaise: I am right. Now, come on. Let's get some food and some rest.
Ron: Okay.
They then went inside the castle to get something to eat and get some rest.
