"this will be a 2 on 2 gym battle "yelled the referee.

'Jasmine told me that the mahogany gym leader specializes in ice types and seeing the stadium it seems so'ash thought and released charizard.Gary and leaf were shocked that ash was using charizard.'He is really taking it seriously'both thought.

then dewgong used ice beam but charizard dodged and finished with flamethrower.

'man,what happened with ash he is totally serious today'thought gary and leaf also thought the same.

Then charizard used blast burn while mamoswime used earthquake.Then mamoswime used ice beam and charizard countered with flamethrower.Flamethrower over powered ice beam and hit mamoswime.Then charizard finished with overheat.

"mamoswime is unable to battle,the challenger wins the match"the referee yelled.

Pryce returned his mamoswime with a smile.

"Well,ash you deserve this"said pryce giving him the glacier badge.

"thanks"ash replied.Then leaf and gary also congratulated him.

After leaving the gym,Gary asked"Hey Ash what happened with you?" then leaf said"yeah you never used charizard against an opponent if it is not at least elite level".

"Actually,pryce is a former elite four member of johto"ash replied and both were stunned.

"That is why I decided not to hold back"said ash and they both nodded.

Then they meet up with Lance and help him capture a group of team rocket members in the radio tower.While they capture other members the trio escapes but they do not worry about them.

"So ash how many badges have you collected till now?"asked lance.

"well I need one more badge and that is the rising badge"ash replied showing his badges.

"That means you will be going to blackthorn gym,huh,but be careful my cousin is a tough one"lance said and went away.

"so the blackthorn gym leader is lance's cousin,hmm"mumbled ash.

Then ash and his friends continued in their journey.

On their way they find a lake that heals electric type pokemon.They also save zapdos and the crystals from team rocket.

Then they continue on their journey.

They go to maroon town where professor Oak is invited by DJ Mary.But James of team rocket disguises himself as professor Oak and goes there.He tries to steal the pokemon and also gives wrong answers to the people's question causing them to attack him.he runs away and jessie and meowth also come out of hiding and follow him.Ash and his friends see jessie and meowth and chase them.They finally catch them and send them flying.Then they try to make the people understand but are having a hard time in it.Then real professor arrives and answer correctly to their questions and the people calm down.
