Bellon
Cheer Bear vanished and we stayed put on our search for Eddie. For one thing, Elliot was getting calmer, but I was beginning to worry about him. I noticed that slowly, he began to grow agitated over something. And that terrified me. Don't get me wrong. Elliot is a good friend, but when he gets mad, he GETS MAD. Ronnie stood by his side like a sweet little sister, hoping to soothe the beast. Abraham knew better not to make Elliot mad either.
"Where could that creep keep your brother anyway?" asked Abraham.
"Someplace dark, I'm sure." I said.
"If we knew where he would be, things would be easier for us all." said Elliot.
Ronnie was about to speak until we all heard some fighting. "It's coming from that bar." I said.
"Let's stay away. Sounds like something bad is going on." said Ronnie.
"Techno City. The place where drunk people really get drunk." said Abraham.
"No kidding." said Elliot. As we walked into the busy street, we found ourselves in a rather filthy and tough looking neighborhood. "What is this place?" I asked.
"We are in Roughsville. A district well known for it's fights." said Abraham.
"I don't like this place. Gives me the creeps." said Ronnie.
But there is a train that can take us to the rich center of Techno City. And if this town is truly run by No Heart, I bet your sweet dollar we'll find your brother there." said Abraham.
"I hope so." I said, trying not to get my hopes all the way up.
Just then, a series of events took place. There was a shooting going on in the plaza of the street! Two rival gangs were fighting over a territory and their gun fire was flying like crazy, hitting innocent people who were in the wrong place in the wrong time!
"Run!" I cried to the others.
The four of us ran as the fighting continued and more people joined in on the fight, shooting and throwing grenades and tear gas! We didn't know where to run. We hid in an alley with scared people also trying to take shelter from the chaos outside. Just then, the sickest things began to happen. Being this a chaotic scene, a lot of people started to enter in stores and loot what they could find. Vegetables, fruits, and even expensive looking devices. An older woman was hugging her crying grandchild in her tent while looters were making waste to her merchandise.
"Stop. Please stop." whispered Elliot.
Ronnied squeezed his shoulder and I held his hand tightly. Abraham looked at Elliot then saw the scenes happening outside. During all this, Elliot's eyes began to go black. He was disgusted with the scene outside. The violence made him angry.
"Elliot. Please... don't." pleaded Ronnie, crying.
"STOP! STOP!" cried Elliot as he stormed out of the alley. He quickly threw out his arms, and deep dark branches emerged, with spikes. Abraham quickly threw the word STOP in front of the angry Elliot.
"Control yourself friend!" cried Abraham.
To our horror, we watched both Elliot and Abraham out in the open and the guns were firing. The Gangsters saw them and they wanted to destroy them on the spot. But Abraham summoned the word "W A L L " from his book and the letters formed an invisible brick looking wall that blocked the bullets. And even that wasn't enough. Abraham's wall was beginning to crumble.
"NO!" I cried. I ran out of my hiding place and then... something amazing happened! My heart... it began beat ever so fast, and smooth, and a powerful light beam was released, pushing the men against a building, dropping their guns. The beam then disappeared and I didn't know what to say.
"Elliot!" cried Ronnie. Elliot's eyes were still black with hatred and I did what any friend would do. I went over and gave Elliot a hug. The branches from his hands disappered and the men he killed fell on the floor like rag dolls.
Elliot blinked a few times and he began to cry. "I did this. I was going to lose control." he began to sob.
"Let's get the heck out of here." cried Abraham.
"I know where... to Kimberly." said Ronnie.
"Who?" I asked.
"A friend. We can hide there for the time being." said Ronnie.
