Here's the next chapter of my Rizzles coming of age story. Enjoy!

"I think I broke a new record of getting into trouble," Jane sighed, sitting on the bleachers next to Frost after school while they waited for Admiral Frost to pick them up. "Coach Korsak said I can't be on the baseball team until I work on my anger, and that shit sucks. I'm always angry when it comes to Joey that fuck face," Jane crossed her arms.

"I think Maura liked you all tough and shit. You're probably her hero, that's worth it, right?" he gave her a nudge.

"Really, you think I'm her hero?"

"Well you protected her she says, she's smitten Jane, like a lot." Frost smiled, "If you have a girl like Maura, you shouldn't be so angry."

"I guess you're right, but it's still pretty complicated," Jane sighed, running a hand through her hair, she looked down at her phone as it pinged, it was Maura asking if she was still at school because her ride was delayed for picking her up. She told Maura she was at the bleachers by the track with Frost. Maura didn't respond but she was there in under a minute's time, giving Jane the tightest hug.

"Jane I hope that you didn't get into too much trouble in the office."

"I have to work on my anger issues, it's sort of a mandatory thing so I don't end up getting arrested in the future. That's the last thing I want actually."

"I would prefer you not getting arrested either, my parents would be more than willing to bail you out."

"I couldn't ask them to do that for me."

"Well you wouldn't be the one doing the asking," Maura smiled glancing over at Frost. "Would it be rude of me to ask if you could give Jane and I some privacy."

Frost shook his head getting up from the bleachers, "Not at all. I'll let you know when my dad gets here Jane," he went to walk away only a little bit in the distance he would be their lookout.

Maura grabbed Jane by the hand and led her to underneath the bleachers out of every visible sight. "I was doing some research about normal public high school activities people take part in. You know so I can get the whole experience," she told Jane, playing with the collar of her shirt.

"Of course you'd do some research, and what does this research state?" Jane looked down at her girlfriend.

"The optimum place to make out with a boyfriend, or in this case my girlfriend, seems to be hidden beneath the bleachers, somewhere no one can see, or almost not see," Maura explained as she planted soft kisses along Jane's strong jaw.

"Mhm, is this going to be our usual make out spot?" she rubbed her hands on Maura's arms.

"I mean until my girlfriend gets a car, there's always a make out spot in those movies you know they go see a view but instead of enjoying the romantic atmosphere they try to have a quickie in the car."

"I can't believe you just used the term quickie. You must have done a lot of research. I do have one question though."

"Yeah? You can ask me anything." Maura looked up at Jane, her eyes shining brightly.

"When does the whole making out underneath the bleachers thing begin?" Jane wiggled her eyebrows causing Maura to smirk, before placing her hand on the back of Jane's neck before kissing her with every ounce of passion she could muster.

Jane tangled her hand in Maura's hair, letting their tongues meet as they deepened their kiss, Maura pressed Jane against the closest post, resting her hand on Jane's hip. Jane moaned softly into Maura's mouth, feeling excited and slightly aroused. Before Jane could follow through with her plan to have Maura's hand rest on her crotch she heard Frost shout that their ride was here. Jane pulled back panting hard, licking her lips.

"I really don't want to leave, are you sure your ride is coming?" Jane asked, fixing the other girl's hair.

Maura nodded, "I'll be fine. Tomorrow morning, same place?"

Jane couldn't help but giggle at Maura, "I think this is going to be quite the public school experience for you. I'll text you later," she winked pressing her lips on Maura's one last time before slipping away. Maura rested her hand over her racing heart, trying to calm down realizing that she was more than smitten with Jane. Maura Isles was in love with Jane Rizzoli.

When Jane got dropped off at her house she seen her mother sitting on the front porch, she didn't look very happy. Jane noticed that her dad's car wasn't there. She waved goodbye to the Frost's before walking up to her mother.

"Jane Rizzoli, I had a not so lovely phone call with your principal. I was disappointed to hear about how you punched Joey Grant... and he suggested that we have you go to anger management classes again. It's either that or Joey Grant's family might file a harassment lawsuit on you," Angela spoke in a monotone voice. "And that's not something we can afford. I can't have my daughter ending up in jail. That's not the kind of life I want for you."

"Does Pop know about it?"

Angela shook her head, "He hasn't been home yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't know what happened. I know you get your anger from your father, he's not always the most pleasant man sometimes and I don't want to say anything else negative about him to you. Just know I'm here for you, okay? You don't have to hide anything from me."

"Are you insinuating that I'm hiding something from you?"

Angela gave Jane a knowing look, "I know Jane."

"You know what?" Jane crossed her arms, not liking where this was going.

"I know about Maura..."

Jane froze looking at her mother, "What do you mean? I told you I met her in Paris on the trip."

"Someone seen you at the aquarium, someone in my book club. They went with their kids and seen my daughter in quite a position if you will. Jane you were in a public place openly kissing..." she stopped herself. "Children go there and they don't need to see... you know what I mean."

"No I don't know what you mean... are you upset that I'm displaying my affections on someone openly, or is it the who I'm displaying with?"

"It's sort of both, honey you know I support you in anything you do. I don't completely know the joys or what have you of being with the same gender... well there was this one time, me and your father were broken up for a bit. His friend, a girl of his, an ex girlfriend it was odd she comforted me and..."

Jane looked at her mother in disbelief, "Wait? You're telling me that... you and another woman? Ma, why didn't you tell me this before? I spent years and years denying who I was because..." Jane felt the tears build up in her eyes. "And all this time? I can't believe this Ma..."

"I'm not saying I approve of your choices but... just please don't let your father know. He won't take it lightly. He seen me and his ex in a compromising position... and he got angry. I told him it was nothing, I had to calm him down. We don't ever speak of that incident. I seen a different side to your father that day. And that's how I started to, you know, go to church more, hearing how being with a woman is a sin for me and it just kind of stuck with me," Angela explained. "Then Frank and I got married in the church and that's when you came around. You'll always be my daughter and I will always love you no matter what. Well I mean unless you end up in jail..."

Jane was overwhelmed by what her mother just admitted, Angela stood up and pulled her daughter into a hug. "I love you so much Ma. I'm definitely going to try to do better. I think that's why I'm so angry all the time, I couldn't be honest with myself, with you about who I am."

"It'll be our little secret," Angela kissed her daughter's cheek, Jane rubbed at her cheek.

"Must you kiss me Ma, that's so embarrassing."

"Come on, let's go inside, as your punishment you have to help me make dinner. Maybe one day I can meet this Maura girl. She's very special to you isn't she?"

Jane nodded, "She's the most important person to me Ma, but I don't think us having dinner is a good idea. Pop will find out and I don't want him to. Can you really keep this secret from him?"

"If he can keep secrets then so can I."

"What kind of secrets?" Jane asked.

"I'm not at liberty to say," Angela told Jane. "Plus I really rather not concern you."

"Well consider me concerned."

"Don't worry about it. I promise everything is okay." Angela smiled to reassure her daughter. "Since your brothers are at the park and your father isn't home yet, why don't you tell me more about Maura? Just leave out those intimate details."

"Well Ma that's just common sense, why would I tell you the really personal stuff? If it puts your mind at ease, we haven't done anything besides kiss."

"Whatever you do in private it's fine, it's when you do things in public that concern me."

Jane nodded, started to help her mother fix dinner, telling her about things between her and Maura. For the first time Jane didn't feel stressed, or angry, she could actually talk to her mother, something she never realized that she could do. She'd have to tell Maura the good news later. Jane trusted her mother to keep her secret, and she knew she would have to be more discreet in person if she never wanted her father to find out.

I know these chapters are short but I like them short sometimes to give you guys an update. I'll probably time jump quite a bit during Rizzles' senior year of high school though, because who cares about high school anymore right? lol
