(Tobias' POV)

"Trying to study her?" says Christina.

"What do you mean study her?" I say angrily.

"As I said... she is the only one who survived the death serum," says Matthew.

"But-," I get interrupted by alarms.

Alarms start blaring all around us for about ten seconds then a voice says, "Stay in the room your in, if you are not in a room run to the closest room, lock all doors, don't open them for anything, don't open them for anything at all, this is not a drill... I repeat this is not a drill stay in the room your in, if you are not in a room run to the closest room, lock all doors, don't open them for anything, don't open them for anything at all."

"What's happening?" Christina, and I shout, as the alarms continue blaring loudly.

"I don't know!" shouts Matthew.

Matthew runs to the door, he shuts the door and locks it with a click. Then he runs to his computer and taps different keys, "Every room in this building has a lockdown room! They are not on because the people who can put them into lockdown don't do it because they don't want to lock - someone who is trying to hide or run - out of the room!" he shouts, the alarm is still blaring, "I can put this room into lockdown! Do you think I should?!"

"Yes!" Christina, and I shout.

"Alright!" Matthew says while clicking a button on his keyboard.

The door of the room starts vibrating, then there is a loud click, "There," says Matthew, "what happens when a room is lockdown, is that a slab of titanium that was inside the door moves up and connects to a wall which holds the door in place!"

"Okay, but why is there a lockdown?!" I shout.

"I don't know," shouts Matthew.

Then we hear gunshots, we all freeze. We hear loud footsteps outside the room.

"Who are we searching for again sir?!" shouts a voice.

"We are searching for Tobias Eaton!" says another voice. The voice sound familiar.

"Marcus," I whisper.

When the voices, and footsteps stop Christina shouts, "What did you say?!"

I don't say anything for a while and then say, "That was my father."

Then there are more gunshots, there are multiple footsteps outside the room, it sounds like people are running, then there are even more gunshots, then it sounds like someone fell on the ground. I put my hand on the side of my waist, and pull a gun out.

"You had a gun?!" shout Christina and Matthew.

"Open the door!" I say ignoring their question.

"No!" shouts Matthew.

"I have to help them open the door!" I demand.

"Your going to help who? Your father, or us?!" asks Matthew.

"I am going to help -,"

"Why are the alarms still blaring?!" shouts Christina, interrupting me.

I ignore her, and shout, "I am going to help us!"

Matthew doesn't do anything so I run to his computer, and try to remember the button he clicked. I click it. The door vibrates and then stops. I turned off the lockdown of this room.

I go to open the door when Matthew shouts, "Stop! You can get hurt!"

"I won't," I say and open the door, I leave the room and slam the door close behind me.

The people who are with us are shooting at Marcus' little crew. I shoot at Marcus' crew, also while they attempt to shoot us.

"Tobias!" shouts Marcus.

I shoot at him. He puts his shield up blocking my shot. Marcus' whole group have shields and bulletproof vests.

"Go back in your room," shouts a soldier at me who is trying to fight Marcus.

"No, he won't," shouts Marcus, and pulls me to his side.

I kick Marcus in the leg, he holds me tighter. I punch him in the face and kick him in the leg. He falls to the ground. I keep punching him. Then, someone who is helping Marcus shoots me in the back. I groan and fall to the side.

Then, Christina and Matthew come out of the room, with a gun in their hand. They shoot Marcus' team. Two of them fall to the ground. Christina takes a weapon that was held by the waistband of her jeans out. It looks like a taser. She shoots Marcus with it.

I force myself up. I groan loudly and fall back to the ground.

Christina comes and pulls me toward the door of the room. She shoots at another person from Marcus' side. He blocks it with his shield. Then he shoots Christina in her shoulder, she moans, "Damn it" and shoots again, but misses again. A soldier who was helping us comes, and shoots the person who shot Christina. The soldiers start pushing the people on Marcus' side back, they shoot what sounds like a million shots.

The soldiers start tasing the remaining people who were on Marcus' side. When they tase everyone on Marcus' side they come, and pick up Christina - who moans again in pain - and me, I groan, and they take us to the infirmary, with Matthew following.
