AN- The final chapter! Thank you so much for reading and I hope you liked reading my story as much as I liked writing it. I truly appreciate everyone who ready this story and all the follows, favorites, and reviews from those that liked it. Thank you.

The reception was starting to wind down. The gods, or at least most of them, had moved their party to Mount Olympus despite the demigods remaining at Camp. Most of the demigods had broken off into smaller celebrations or to do their own thing but a few remained behind to celebrate the happy occasion. Most of the dryads and nymphs had left as well, because it was so late. Even Grover had returned to be with Juniper. But before he left to go home to the forest, the satyr teased his friends about their marriage because he was just happy for his best friends. Bobby and Matthew Chase eagerly joined some demigods their age after being invited to hang out. The sixteen-year-old half-bloods were eager to have fun with mortals and the mortals were just happy to be included in any 'camp stuff'. Piper and Calypso were trying desperately to keep a drunk Leo from lighting himself on fire because they all knew alcohol and fire certainly don't mix. If they were being honest, demigods and alcohol didn't mix; fire user or not. Leo kept insisting he'd have more control than they thought but the two young women definitely didn't trust his slurred words. Mr. D sadistically promised the boy that in the morning he'd be blessed with the worst hangover ever, but of course the son of Hephaestus just took the threats as another challenge. Estelle had long since fallen asleep from the day's excitement, so Sally and Paul put her to bed in the Big House. Mrs. O'Leary romped around happily, eating everybody's table scraps. Frank and Hazel were laughing together as Nico and Thalia were swapping bets about the newlyweds.

But as the happy couple looked around at the empty tables, they couldn't help feeling twinges of sadness. Percy kissed Annabeth's temple as she leaned into him. "Tired?" Percy asked as she nodded.

"Been a long day" Annabeth answered as he grinned.

"Been a long week." he corrected before laughing "Totally worth it though." She nodded, taking his hand in hers "Ready for tomorrow? In the morning, it's you and me, off to Athens and Poseidonopolis to celebrate our honeymoon." He grinned as she laughed. "Today was amazing."

"It was" she agreed, squeezing his hand. "Can you believe everyone who came?"

He smirked "I know! All the gods... Plus our parents both came and there was no bloodbath. No war. Always a plus." he joked as she let her head rest against his chest. "But when Travis and Connor tried that stupid stunt with the apples…"

"Oh I was so ready to murder them" Annabeth replied "in my wedding dress or not."

Percy laughed, kissing her hair as she nestled herself into his arms. "Only at a demigod wedding…"

"The toasts were…unique..." Annabeth was thoughtful. "Overall, I think Ella's was probably my favorite. Well, Ella's and Grover's are tied."

"Hers was basically a dictionary definition of marriage and weddings though." Percy noted as his wife laughed.

"It was sweet," Annabeth defended. "But Grover's was great, too." The best man's toast had been fantastic and full of inside jokes and shared memories with the couple.

"Pretty sure there'll be another wedding soon." Percy suggested as she glanced towards him.

"Tyson and Ella?" His wife asked. But he laughed, shaking his head at her expression.

"Probably eventually... but I'm pretty sure Frank will propose next." Percy added simply.

"What did you guys talk about in your cabin while you were getting ready?" Annabeth joked as he laughed. "Between Tyson's missing bowtie and Grover had one bigger than his head…" she laughed, seeing Tyson and Ella sitting together. "How did you even have time for talking about who is going to get married when?"

"Nothing official... just speculation based on observation" he confirmed.

"Wow, big words for you" her playful teasing as he rolled his eyes. A quick kiss just to silence her ended up extended as she leaned into him. Once he was satisfied the gentle mocking would stop, Percy reluctantly pulled away. He saw the longing look in her eyes until they remembered they weren't alone just yet. While there weren't many people still in the Dining Pavilion, the bride and groom still had some demigod guests around them. Annabeth laughed as he grinned, not letting her go.

"But I was surprised by Mr. D's speech. Can you believe he actually possibly cares about us?" Percy joked, nodding towards where the god was hanging around the bar. His immortal wife was laughing as she stood beside Dionysus. Ariadne wanted to spend as much time as she would be permitted with him. The newlyweds noticed how the god seemed to keep one eye on the drunk Hispanic man and the two women beside him. Piper and Calypso didn't seem too successful in their efforts to slow Leo's alcohol consumption. The god's other purple eye was locked on the wine and other bottles in his son's hand as Pollux kept pouring for the other demigods standing around him. Pollux seemed to know exactly what the god was thinking as he shook his head to his father with a smirk.

"Maybe we just amuse him" Annabeth said, flatly. "Or annoy him, like in Leo's current state."

"Maybe" Percy considered, glancing towards her, seeing her smirk. "What?" He laughed, recognizing her expression.

"Honestly… I kind of expected a monster or two to show up...you know...make things interesting."

"What? Like 'congrats on your marriage. Prepare to die'? Yeah, okay." Percy snorted. "Though if you really want, I'm sure a monster attack can be arranged?" he teased as she rolled her eyes.

"No thank you!" Annabeth retorted, squeezing his hand. She smiled, hearing the rings clink as they touch. Annabeth thought it was the best sound she'd ever heard. Percy laughed, seeing the look in her eyes.

"But I think most surprising of everything today was our officiant. That she would willingly do that for us?" Percy added, seeing Annabeth scowl at the mention of Hera.

Annabeth snorted as she thought about it "I know! I was fully expecting her to do something closer to revenge than an offering of peace." Percy squeezed her hand; glad he wasn't alone in his fears from earlier in the day. No matter how ridiculous it might have seemed to Paul or Leo or Frank or even Grover. He knew Annabeth would always understand the concerns he had about Hera.

"Today… during the ceremony...we didn't actually get to say 'I do'..." Percy realized, in horror. "Wisegirl, we're actually married, right? The wedding was legit, right? You and me. We're official? Wisegirl?"

"Oh Gods, I hope so," Annabeth whispered as he looked towards her for reassurance. But the truth was, she had absolutely no idea. "I really hope so. I love you but I'm not doing this again. One wedding was enough. It was more than enough. We'll have to ask Chiron… tomorrow. He'll know. He'll know." She said as much to herself as to her husband. She knew right now Chiron had his hands full trying to corral his cousins and keep them from completely destroying Camp with their Party Pony antics. "Gods… I really hope we're married."

"Everyone who came. We were lucky…" Percy said softly and she recognized the wistful look in his eyes as looked around. She followed his gaze around to all the empty tables and chairs as the party wound down.

"Percy?" She asked. He always said she knew him better than he knows himself. And she felt he was the same with her. So, she knew something was on his mind.

"Yeah?" He asked, absentmindedly stroking the spot between her thumb and forefinger with his thumb.

"What's wrong?" She studied him and he shook his head. She gave him a look.

"Nothing!" He laughed, seeing how she studied him "Just thinking…"

"Uh oh, then I'm in trouble," she teased as he kissed her to silence her again. But they both laughed quietly at his words and her playful banter. "What about?"

"About everyone that was able to be here...and those that should be here...but aren't." He said softly as she snuggled into him with a quiet sigh.

"I know, Perce. Me too" she admitted as he pulled her close. "Like Magnus…"

"Magnus." He agreed, squeezing her hand. He knew how badly she wanted her cousin to be able to stay for their wedding; not just the limited time they had with him. But it had to have been enough. Luckily Percy knew they'd be able to see Magnus again soon. "Or Beckendorf and Silena" Annabeth smiled sadly at the mention of her friends. "Nico says they've adjusted well to Elysium…" he reported happily as she squealed happily for their fallen friends.

"Really?" She smiled "They deserve it…" Gods, they deserved so much more.

Percy nodded and smiled. "They're together in paradise, at least. But I can't help feeling…" he sighed, taking her hand "They should be here… so should Bob."

"Booooobbbb" Annabeth said longingly as she curled into Percy's embrace. The pair glanced towards the starry sky and he wiped her eyes. "He would be so happy for us…" She whispered as she smiled. "He'd be thrilled to be here..." Her voice was breaking.

Nico looked over to see the couple clink their empty glasses in a private toast. Pollux, from behind the bar, fills their glasses up with more champagne from across the pavilion. He recognized the look in their eyes and while he doesn't know who they're toasting, he figured they could use another drink. The bride and groom know there would be no wedding without Bob. There wouldn't even be Percy or Annabeth without his sacrifice. "All hail Bob the Titan!" Annabeth and Percy quietly announce to the stars and moon. They received a few curious looks from the other demigods, all of whom had heard the toast, but nobody wants to disturb the newlyweds now. They're smiling and laughing now, just lost in their own little world. They're talking to the stars about all their plans for their future.

"Bob should definitely be here…" Annabeth whispered as Percy took her hand. She watched the stars and smiled; tonight, was perfect. Or at least, almost perfect. Percy glanced towards her, knowingly. She recognized the constellations she'd learned long ago. Percy squeezed her hand as she whispered some of their names. She smiled seeing a friend among the stars. "Zoe, Zoe and Bianca. I think they'd be happy to be here with the other Hunters… even if it was for a wedding. I think most of the Hunters had a good time. I probably would have liked Bianca...based on everything I've been told about her." He nodded at her words, seeing Nico out of the corner of his eye as the two Children of Death were laughing and teasing their respective boyfriends.

"Daedalus" Percy answered, seeing his giant hellhound, finally curled up under the bridal table as she slept. He smiled, considering the swordsman "I wonder what Quintus would have to say about all of this?" Annabeth was thinking about the son of Athena and his last stand and she would be forever grateful for his sacrifice. "What would he say to your Mother about one of her children marrying the son of her rival?" Though in Percy's mind, that rivalry ended beneath the Erechtheion when they were teenagers. But he figured the two Olympians might not agree. Though, Percy was glad at least they were civil for their children's sake.

"He visited the cabin a few times…" she admitted. She laughed, remembering the first time. She remembered how confused she and Malcolm had both been the first day he walked in and announced extra sword-fighting practice only for Cabin Six every single morning before sunup. "He always pushed us a little harder than the others… like he knew what was coming for the children of Athena."

"We needed him" Percy agreed "Him and his skills… he turned the tides… if not for him, we might have lost more campers…" he sighed softly. "Definitely would have lost more campers. Everyone from that battle… Gods, everyone who died in that entire war…Everyone who died for us. Lee Fletcher. Michael Yew." Annabeth sighed softly as Percy continued. He glanced towards the bar where Pollux was all too happy to play bartender to an intoxicated Leo. "Castor…" Percy whispered, glancing towards his bride.

"Mr. D's son." Annabeth added, remembering. She hadn't really known the older boy personally, but she did remember how the twin sons had managed to sneak a bottle of cheap Chardonnay into Camp one October when she was a little girl. Of course, their father had been furious, but Luke had told her it was more that they managed to do it without him noticing and that he couldn't confiscate the smuggled wine. She smiled at the memory before looking at the man behind the bar, mixing drinks for everyone but his father. The man found this hilarious, much to Mr. D's displeasure. "So many people from the Battle… from the whole War."

"Far too many to count… they should all be here..." Percy whispered.

Percy sighed, thinking of Dakota and Bobby and many of his friends from Camp Jupiter. As though reading his thoughts, Annabeth glanced towards where Thalia and Piper were talking quietly. The daughter of Athena nodded, absentmindedly. Percy followed her gaze.

"Jason... Jason should definitely be here. He should be laughing with Frank and Nico… teasing his sister and making Piper cry with some stupid speech about how even the Fates or Hera can't keep us apart." Annabeth laughed softly as he spoke. She could easily picture it. She smiled as she thought of Jason before seeing her husband's face. She knew he wasn't thinking of Jason now. He was thinking of another sacrifice made to end a different war.

"Perce?"

"Luke…" his voice sounded almost hollow and Annabeth shook her head stubbornly. She gripped his hand a little tighter.

"Percy…" she started but he just looked at her. Annabeth kissed his cheek before he squeezed her hand. The meaning behind her words were very clear and he loved her for it. "Don't…okay? Not tonight?" That had been what she talked about with Thalia, Piper, and Hazel. On what was the happiest day of her life, Annabeth was still thinking about all those 'we almost didn't make it out alive' situations. Her friends had helped her see that as long as she had Percy that she'd be okay. No matter what. They would always have one another, and nothing could ever change that.

"Today would have been very different if any of them were here… they should all be here… but they're not."

"Percy...hey, look at me." Annabeth said to her husband. "I know" she whispered to him, as he pulled her onto his lap. She knew there was no point in reminding him any of those deaths were not his fault or that's what it meant to be a demigod. Making those impossible choices so someone else could survive. "Trust me… I know." She kissed him softly and they both relaxed, after talking out loud. That had something they discovered after coming home: just sharing their fears or nightmares aloud to one another helped. They understood one another in ways anyone else could only dream of. "I miss them too." They were the only ones who could calm the other when those thoughts kept creeping in. "There's no use thinking about what ifs because we can't change the past. We can only focus on the future, Seaweed Brain. Our future." Her grey eyes were sparkling, and he knew she finally had her something permanent.

"That is why you're perfect, Wisegirl." he answered as she laughed. "You always know the right thing to say."

"Only because you do too" Annabeth smiled. He was her safe place and one of the only people she could fully be herself with. She laid her head in his chest as he kissed her curls. "Thank you" she murmured softly as he chuckled.

"Tomorrow. Tomorrow our greatest adventure begins." He said as she laughed. "Tomorrow is the start of our new life together."

"Husband and wife. Seaweed Brain and Wisegirl" she smiled happily. Her grey eyes were shining as she slipped her fingers into his. He kissed her again just because he could. He knew together they could do anything. If a son of Poseidon and a daughter of Athena could end up falling in love, then anyone could accomplish anything. Gods, Titans, or monsters be damned.
