Hi again. I just want to say that I'm very happy to see that this story now has 16 reviews, 1 favorite, and 2 followers. This truly is a Christmas Miracle. I want to thank I. M. Rally, MasterClass60, and TU4QU0I53T4IAN6L3 for making it possible. TU4QU0I53T4IAN6L3 asked me a question that I'd be happy to explain. He wondered how the Techno's were able to make technology at the beginning of time and didn't decide to make more when the Normals came in. Well, it's because they wanted to see the Normals figuring out how to make technology on their own. He also didn't think Country's would be in Africa. You see, the reason was that idea just came to me, and I just thought it was a good idea since it has a desert. So, without being said, let's get started with the Musicals in WWI and WWII.

Chapter 17: World War I/World War II

On June 28, 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, who was in line to be king of Austria-Hungary, was assassinated. Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, a month after his assassination. When that happened, it caused the other countries from Europe to choose sides. They were divided into 2 groups called Allied Powers and Central Powers. The Allied Powers were Serbia, France, Belgium, Russia, and Great Britain. The Central Powers were Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire. Most of the fighting took place in Belgium and France, with Germany doing most of the work for Central Powers. Soldiers fought in trenches. They suffered from Trench Foot, PTSD or Shell-Shock, and diseases spread by rats. The Musicals fought in WWI too, but they didn't suffer Trench Foot or diseases from the trenches. It was bigger than any war that came before it because it used a lot of new technology like airplanes, submarines, machine guns, heavy artillery, and poison gas. It caused 9 million soldiers dead, and 23 million soldiers wounded. The Techno's were familiar with the new technology, but something unexpected happened. When the Central Powers realized that Musicals can't be killed with regular bullets, they found a special type of metal called Music-Steel. It was the only metal that can kill a Musical. They started making bullets made of Music-Steel which caused many casualties for the Musicals. But that's not even the worst part. Since the poison gas killed many Normal Soldiers who weren't wearing Gas Masks, and Musical Soldiers weren't killed by the gas, they rediscovered the Melody Mallows and used them as a poison gas for the Musicals. On November 11, 1918, the Germans agreed to a truce. After the Treaty of Versailles was signed, it made Germany accept blame for starting the war, and had to pay the Allies $33 billion in war reparations.

In 1938, Adolf Hitler sent troops into Austria, which gave up without a fight. A few months later, he took over part of Czechoslovakia. He was also demanding for part of Poland that Germany had given up after World War I. On September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland. Two days after that, Britain and France declared war on Germany. The Soviet Union was on Germany's side back then, so they divided Poland between them. Germany defeated Denmark, Norway, and Luxembourg. Over six weeks in 1940, they invaded the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. Germany began to expand its alliances by signing the Tripartite Pact with both Japan and Italy. The Holocaust began when the Nazis started arresting, deporting, and killing Jews. Six million Jews of both Normals and Musicals were killed. In 1941, Germany broke its treaty with the Soviet Union and launched an invasion of its former ally. However, it proved to be a big mistake, since many Germans started to suffer huge losses from fighting both the massive Soviet Army and the harsh cold of Russia. They were forced to retreat and the Soviet Union joined the fight against them. On December 7, 1941, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, in Hawaii. After that, the United States joined the Allies and sent troops to three theaters of war. On June 6, 1944, 175,000 men of both Normals and Musicals stormed into the beaches of Normandy, in France. In Omaha Beach, US soldiers suffered a lot of problems. They boarded transport ships on waves up to 6 feet tall. Bad weather conditions forced the landing craft to disembark troops farther from the beach than planned. They had to jump into water that was over their heads. Soldiers who didn't drown had to make great efforts to reach the beach, fighting with big waves, while wearing heavy equipment. Most of them were too exhausted to go through those obstacles. Most Techno's managed to go through the obstacles with no problem, since they can breathe underwater, and can fight against big waves. But Germany had Musical-steel bullets in their guns. 2,000-5,000 soldiers were killed, wounded, or missing. Many Musicals were also killed and wounded from D-Day, but not missing. Germany was trapped between Europe in the West and the Soviet Union in the East. On May 7, 1945, Germany surrendered, ending World War II.

It looks like World War I was the first war Musicals got killed. Techno's seemed to have the advantage on Omaha Beach, but not with the Music-Steel bullets fired. I've learned about the Holocaust in 7th grade when we were learning about Anne Frank, it's a shame that she died when she was still young, along with those other Jews. Back then, nobody knew what PTSD was or even called it that name. Today is also Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year, in which we get less daylight. I'll be posting the final chapter on Christmas day. Please Review.
