"Are you sure you're ready for this?" asked Poppy as she, Bridget, and Vee stood outside their school. It was the first day back after the break and the three were running late.
"I have to be," said Vee before walking into the school. The three headed straight to their homeroom where everyone else had already gathered.
"Morning," said Vee as she opened the door. The other students just stared at her as she and the other two walked in.
"You three are late," said Edgar as he walked away from a small group of boys.
"We had an emergency check in at the Scare BNB, and they waited on me even though I told them to go ahead," said Vee.
"It was the Scare Girls, we had to say hello to them, and we had to come with Vee in case she got nervous," said Poppy.
"No way, the Scare Girls are here, are they holding a concert here in the city," said Chandler as he stood up from his seat.
"Yeah, and they told us to invite some friends, are you interested?" asked Vee.
"Of course I'm interested, I love the Scare Girls," said Chandler. Suddenly, he transformed into Franken Stacy.
"Um, Chandler," said a stunned Poppy.
"Did I just?" asked Chandler as he looked at his hands before turning back to normal.
"You just fully transformed," said Vee.
"The cufflet dad left me really works, he left a note that said it would let me have full use of my changeling powers but I haven't tried it yet," said Chandler as he looked at a cufflet on his right sleeve.
"Wait, you're a monster too?" asked a student.
"Half, my dad's side of the family is changelings, my mom is human though," said Chandler.
"Just how many of us are monsters?" asked a boy.
"Technically we're half monsters as well," said Edgar as he stood with Poppy.
"Our dad's a Weather Fairy," said Poppy.
"Cool, can you two control the weather then?" asked a couple of girls as they ran over to them.
"Sorry, we haven't discovered any powers," said Poppy.
"Too bad, you could have stopped bad weather on the way to school and home," said another girl.
"That would be cool," said Poppy.
"Think of the scenes I could do for movies," said Edgar.
"Hey Vee, could we come to that concert, we loved the songs that you lent us," said a girl as she and a couple of boys came up to her.
"Sure thing," said Vee with a smile.
