"Next up in the ring is Vegeta of universe 7 vs Emperor Vegeta of universe 13!" the Announcer yelled into his microphone, which elicited another round of excited cries. As Vegeta of universe 7 prepared to enter the ring, his old friend Goku walked up to him, telling him that this one supposedly had ssj3, and maybe this could be another way of obtaining that form. Vegeta scoffed at the idea, noting that his counterpart wasn't even close to him in strength. Emperor Vegeta on the other hand was worried, as that universe seemed to be much stronger than others, not counting universe 1. Nappa wished him some luck, hoping his leader could come out alive, against his other self.
"So, you have also abandoned your title, and instead went for a family?" Vegeta of universe 13 asked himself from universe 7 as they rose to the ring. "Yes, it really does make a difference in the calm moments of your life. And with my race forever gone, it seems my old, primal, self has finally faded away." Emperor Vegeta smiled in response, a definite change from the sadistic smirk he usually had, an almost sad look on his face, knowing that other universes had what he didn't. They both began by transforming into Super Saiyan 2, fists flying as the fighters raced across the ring, with universe 7 vegeta holding himself back, in order to at least have some fun with his 'younger self'. Emperor Vegeta fired a Galick Flash at His counterpart, who simply evaded to the right, returning fire with a Galick Gun, which the emperor barely evades, an explosion ringing behind him.
As the smoke faded, Emperor Vegeta fired a Big Bang Attack, hoping to catch the other him off guard, but was shocked when another Big Bang Attack clashed against his, before the two blasts faded. Vegeta of universe 7 suddenly appeared behind him, and planted a single ki blast, which immediately grew in size to be far bigger than himself, in his back before firing. The emperor transformed into Super Saiyan 3, and discharged the blast, before rushing his counterpart, who seemed impressed at the strength he showed. Kicking straight at him, he managed to break through his guard and punched him repeatedly, before kicking him into the ring, that was the planet.
Emperor Vegeta wasted no time preparing a Final Galick Flash, hoping to finish off his other before he could power up, but something weird happened. his counterpart rose out of the crater, his hair beginning to turn red, his aura joining it, slowly going from an outline around him, to a true flame, burning brightly a foot away from his body. Everyone on the asteroid looked at Vegeta in shock, not knowing what this form was yet. "What in god's name is that?" Goku of universe 18 asked, as his Vegeta looked on in utter shock, faintly recognizing what the form was. "C-could it be? No, it was only a story, a false one at that." He said, not believing it to be true. Goku then asked him what he meant.
"The story, the one around the original super saiyan, told of a higher power, one only obtained through five righteous Saiyans giving their energy to the Super Saiyan, raising his power further and further, until he achieved godhood. But how? Is this the Super Saiyan God?" he asked himself, as the emperor, hearing that, began to sweat even further than he already was, his level three was burning through his energy, and he couldn't even sense the other vegeta's energy. "As the other explained, this is Super Saiyan god, a form only achieved through ritual. Both me and Kakarot achieved this form, by fighting against the being known as Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction."
Elder Kai of universe 9 began screaming in fear of what that meant, this man has fought Beerus, the very man who helped XXI seal him inside that damned sword. "If they have fought Beerus, what does that make of the me from their world? Am I dead? Have I been finished off by him?" Many more thoughts like these clouded the Elder Kai's brain, as he tried to figure out an answer. "Hey, you okay, gramps?" Yamcha of Universe 9 asked, as he had obviously noticed the horror of the old kai. "Beerus is a terrifying foe, much more horrifying than that Majin Buu. Even him uttering the words destroy would kill you, no, not even kill you. You would simply cease to exist, no form of you remaining." Those words shocked and scared the people in the stands, and in the universes.
"Are you ready? Cause this form is on an entirely different level compared to Super Saiyan 3." Vegeta of Universe 7 asked, his counterpart shaking in his boots. 'So this is the power father talked about? This is insane, and it was achieved by Ritual, and not the natural way of the Saiyan, true combat?' Emperor Vegeta refused to let the fight end like this, he would fight until he couldn't anymore. He gathered as much Ki as he could. And raised it to its limits, and somehow going beyond, letting his energy consume him. He began a horrendous scream, one more terrifying than Kakarot's, as his tail began to regrow. Vegeta of universe 7 could feel it, a new form being achieved, and he smiled, knowing what was coming. Super Saiyan 4 had been achieved, and by the Emperor of universe 13. His power began to eclipse Vegeta's, and so, Vegeta began raising his own energy and power, excited by how this fight was turning out.
"This is what it means to be Saiyan!" Emperor Vegeta roared at his other self, as his energy continued to climb. In an instant, all of time seemed to freeze, the only two being unaffected, Vegeta and the Emperor. Their battle began in earnest, with a heavy blow from the Emperor, into Vegeta's face. With Blood beginning to drip down his face, Vegeta grabbed him by his tail, and spun him around, and threw him towards the floor. Both Vegetas landed on the floor, sporting Sadistic grins, which shocked, and amazed many spectators, and even frightened others. They then launched back into combat, Each blow landed caused a huge earthquake on the asteroid, with everything beginning to break. The energy shield began to dim, as the clash sent energy into it, causing it to malfunction.
Emperor Vegeta was launched into the remains of the ring, and immediately got back up, his pride, and honor, unshaken. He began to gather energy in both hands, with the energy itself cracking apart the arena, as Vegeta himself prepared his final attack. It became eerily calm on the asteroid, as everyone held their breaths in anticipation. And in the calm, came the storm. "FINAL ATOMIC SHINE!" "GAMMA BURST FLASH!" Two massive beams raced towards each other, neither one having any advantage over the other, the ground giving away without any resistance, almost as if in respect of the two fighters. With the center of the two attacks growing with every second, people began panicking, this was even worse than the last fights, at least they still had protection from it then, there was nothing protecting them now.
A massive explosion rang out, only blocked by the energy shield put up by multiple universes. In the ring, Emperor Vegeta collapsed unconscious, Royal armor destroyed. Vegeta of universe 7 slowly landed on the ring, blood coating his face, his armor blown away, not even his gloves remaining. "And Vegeta of universe 7 is the winner!" This proceeded one of the most joyous cheers from the crowd, as everyone in the universes below cheered for him as well. Emperor vegeta was brought down from the ring by Nappa, who was amazed by his honor, as he didn't run, he didn't fight dirty, he fought him head on.
