QC: Woah. This is new.
HEX: You bet it is!
CAS: Uh, Sylvia? Who are these guys?
Sylvia looks concerned.
SYLVIA: UHH, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!
CAS: OK then...
QC: Now, where were we?
HEX: You left off on me about to save them.
Cinos looks to where Cas, Ky, and AD are, and then back to Hex, but everyone appears to have disappeared.
QC: Wha-
SONIC: Right behind you.
The Renegades knock Cinos out. Aria is a little shaken up.
ARIA: Uh, guys? Think we went a little too far?
JACE: No.
NEIL: Not really.
All of a sudden, a portal opens up. A hand steals the unconscious Cinos and drags her in. Before anyone can follow the hand inside, the portal closes.
TAILS: What was that?
CAS: Oh no... don't tell me... Sonic, can you get us out of here?!
SONIC: I'll try.
The cage holding Cas, Ky, and AD captive appears to be held up by never-ending chains. Sonic jumps up to the top and spins rapidly to cut the chains. He is successful, and the cage falls, breaking open.
AD: Rough landing...
CAS & KY: For sure...
They look at each other.
CAS & KY: Jinx! Haha!
They smile.
HEX: You two look adorable. What the heck happened to me?
Aria can't help but laugh a small bit.
CAS: Uh.. somebody please tell the 3 of us who these people are.
SYLVIA: Oh! Cas, Ky, AD. We call ourselves The Renegades, a stealth group here in Inverted City. This is the leader, Neil. This is Jace. This is Hex-
HEX: Actually, now that you know I am female, you can call my by my real name.
SYLVIA: Which is...
MAI: ...Mai.
SYLVIA: Alright! This is Mai. And this is the youngest, and smallest, of the group, Aria!
Aria gets mad.
ARIA: I am not small...
MAI: You also can't forget she is also my favorite!
Mai hugs her and Aria blushes.
CAS: Are you sisters?
ARIA: No, but we do have an extremely deep bond for one another.
KY: I can't help but say that now you two look adorable.
Aria and Mai look at each other.
MAI: How do we respond to this?
ARIA: I... don't know.
CAS: Let's get back to the big picture here; how do we get out of here?
SONIC: Um... Tails, any ideas?
Tails looks concerned.
SONIC: What's wrong?
TAILS: We need to leave RIGHT NOW.
AD: What's happening?
TAILS: The City Above, which is what we are on, is about to blow up! We need to get to the teleporter to go to the regular city!
Everyone begins to rush to the teleporter, as The City Above begins to explode around them. They manage to make it to the teleporter at the last second, and once they make it to the regular city, they look up and see a completely decimated city above them. None of the pieces fall to the bottom because The City Above has it's own gravity.
AD: Now that is traumatizing.
SONIC: Well, I hate to say it, but it's time that we have to leave.
TAILS: Yeah, I think it's for the best. Well, Sonic. Cas, Ky, and AD can come back to our universe.
Sylvia looks around for a minute and appears to have a flashback to when she was younger, and it deeply affects her.
SYLVIA: I'm going back to my universe too.
SONIC: What? But I thought you said that this place brought back memories!
SYLVIA: Bad memories.
TAILS: Oh. Well, I guess we'll see you some other time then?
SYLVIA: Yeah, I hope so...
JACE: Sylvia, wait.
SYLVIA: Yeah?
Jace rushes to her and hugs her. She starts tearing up.
JACE: Think we can talk later?
SYLVIA: Uh... yeah. Sure.
JACE: Alright, I'll see ya.
SYLVIA: Well, see you guys!
Sylvia departs back to her universe on the other side of the city.
NEIL: Renegades, we best be heading back to the base.
Neil leaves.
JACE: Yeah.
Jace leaves.
MAI: Shall we be leaving now?
ARIA: You know it, love... MAI! I MEAN MAI!
MAI: Aaaalright then...
The two leave, holding hands.
SONIC: Alright, guys. Let's go.
The Sonic group heads back to their universe.

Cinos wakes up inside of a glass case.
CINOS: Hello?
Out of the shadows, ? walks out of a small room.
CINOS: Why am I here?!
?: One reason... for improvement.
CINOS: Improveme-
? pulls up a lever and it begins "improving" Cinos.
