Chapter 8
Hari was excited. Today the boys were going to meet their new teammates. He was so proud of them for making it this far. He also hoped that they would indeed end up on the same team. He cheerfully prepared the boys' lunches. He made sure to make something they both especially liked as a little congratulations. Just as he finished boxing the food Naruto ran down the stairs with Sasuke hot in his heels. "Give it back Naruto!" Sasuke growled angrily. Naruto just held the item, a headband, away from Sasuke. Hari noticed the cloth was coming off. "I told you, you're doing it wrong. If you're not careful you will rip the cloth." Sasuke glared. "That's my problem." He made another leap for the headband, which Naruto easily evaded. "like hell I'll let you ruin your first hitai-ate."
As they continued to squabble over the head band Hari's smile saddened. 'They have grown up so much. It seems like only yesterday that they were little children. Now they are teens and genin, recognized as adults in the shinobi world.' His eyes misted over, overwhelming emotion coming over him. It was when the boys stared at him that he realized he was crying. He ran over to them and threw his arms around them both. He dragged them with him to the floor as he sobbed. He felt their arms tighten around him and cried harder. After a few minutes he calmed down. "I'm so proud. I'm so proud of you both. I'm honored to be your guardian." After that statement they sat there in silence. A few minutes later, Harry gave a final squeezing hug before reluctantly letting go. "Well then we don't want you to be late to your team assignment." Naruto nodded, picking up Sasuke's headband which had fallen to the floor.
He went over to Hari and placed a hand on his soft hair. Surprised, Hari looked up at him with his bright green eyes. "Thank you Kaa-chan. You don't need to worry; we will do our best." "Yeah." Sasuke quipped. "You can count on us." Hari gave a watery smile. "Yes, you will."
Soon he was waving goodbye at them as they made their way to the academy. Once thy were far away enough Hari went back inside to tidy up before he went to work. He was so happy even the thoughts of that place didn't bother him. Besides, today was the day he could finally put his privileges as a worker to good use. As did happened every year an inventory of old books would be taken. If the books were out of use, they would be either given to the staff or thrown out. Hari was excited because there were a couple of books in storage that dealt with old sealing techniques. Sealing was a hobby that Hari loved because it was the best thing that brought out his power; magic. Magic was a type of jutsu that made use of spiritual energy more than physical energy. Magic was a kekkei genkai that the Peverelle had mastered. No one in the elemental nations knew about it because the Peverelle are not from there.
He could not easily draw on magic because there was no ambient magic around, but seals were much like runes and could provide a stable channel for his magic. He had read most of the books his parents had given him in a pouch along with other items. He mastered most of them but did not use it often. He now had been fiddling with the idea of creating a wand like his ancestors but it was much too risky to carry around something he could lose. Since wandless magic was still out of his reach, it would be better to carve the seals on his body. The very thought made him cringe as phantom pain prickled his skin.
So far he had been using a minimum amount of energy to do simple chores around the house. Kakashi and the kids did not mind, but the Sandaime probably knew about the small feats he accomplished. Magic could do much more than that however. Though he had never been properly trained, he had knowledge of both offensive and defensive magic. Now it would be crucial more than ever. Naruto and Sasuke would be shinobi and thus would gather some enemies. This would be necessary to protect both himself and them. He would be damned if he couldn't protect the boys again. He was getting close to discovering a proper algorithm to channel his magic. It was a very complex set of seals that if didn't work right would probably at the very least bind his magic forever. Only a few pieces were missing, and they were embedded in the pages of those old scrolls that the manager had the gall to order should be thrown out.
He entered the library, waving in greeting at Mayo-san. As usual she gave him a scathing look then pointedly ignored him. The other staff weren't as rude, greeting him happily. It was some time before work officially started for the day so he sat around with everyone as they talked among themselves for the next fifteen minutes. Soon, Abaneko-san came in to usher everyone to do their duties. The man addressed Hari as they were alone in the room. "Peverelle-san, I remember your post is in the basement today." Hari nodded enthusiastically. "Yes. I'm doing an inventory of the old books." "And I'm sure you're excited about them, as usual." Abaneko smiled. "However, Rei-san will take over your post this time." Hari's smile fell. "W-what? But it's my job every year, why change now?" "Why, Peverelle-san, I thought you had complained that there is too much on your plate. I am only relieving you of some of that burden." Hari shook his head, eyes pleading. "No. Please, I can do it, I swear. I-I need some of those books"
Fingers found their way to his chin, raising his bowed head so his eyes met Abaneko's. Hari flinched but did not move. "I see. You're afraid I'll take away your privilege if someone else does the job. You're right of course. Let's make a deal Peverelle-san." The man said, a sinister grin crossing his face. "Spend a night with me and you will get the benefit without the job." Harry's eyes widened. "There's no need for that. I-I'm sure I can do the job Abaneko-san. I'm willing to work just like any other employee." "I'm afraid Rei-san has already accepted the job. She will be throwing out ALL the books we don't need. I can give you access to those books if you grant me this wish."
Hari scowled and wrenched his face from the man's grip. "No. I will not partake in such heinous acts Abaneko-san. I am your employee and deserve your respect as such." Abaneko frowned. "I respect you Hari-san. It is the only reason I haven't fired you yet. You don't want me to be forced to do so, do you?" Hari glared. "I have been a fierce and loyal employee, there is absolutely no reason for you to take my job away." "I'm sure I can think of something. Not to mention that the fact that you are associated kindly with that demon brat you call your own would give the employee office ample reason to cancel your employment." Hari hissed. "Naruto is not a 'demon brat'. He is a wonderful child and would grow up to be a better man than you can aspire to be. So withdraw that statement immediately, you vile man!"
A slap echoed within the room and Hari found himself sprawled on the floor. He brought a trembling hand to his cheek. Abaneko was looking down at him, eyes alight with fury. "You never speak to me in such a manner again, got it? You will address me with the proper respect or I'll throw you into the streets." Hari stared at the man with fear in his eyes, the larger man looming over him threateningly. As the man took a step towards him he quickly scrambled back, eyes darting around the room for anything to protect himself with. Abaneko stopped, staring at Hari with a mournful face. "Look at what you have turned me into Hari-kun. I've become a monster in your eyes." He shook his head sadly then extended his hand. Hari flinched away from it until he realized the man wanted to help him up. The bearer frowned in confusion, still refusing to touch his employer. Abaneko sighed. "I guess I'm expecting too much of your trust."
He bent down and grabbed Hari's chin again, fast enough that Hari couldn't react on time. He forced Hari to look him in the eyes. They were cold and filled with lust as they roved over his delicate features. "I really do want you Hari-kun. Ever since you stepped into my office with your job application I knew we were just meant for each other. Stop fooling around and become mine, already. I don't want to force my hand on you." Hari's whole body shook, and his voice trembled. "Y-you're insane." The man's face grew disappointed. "Insane, you say." He brought his face close to Hari's. "No, I'm devoted." He crushed his lips onto Hari's. The bearer was so shocked he froze. 'This is not happening. It's just a nightmare.' He felt a tongue slip into his cavern and snapped back. He bit the appendage as hard as he could. Abaneko screamed as he let go of him in favor of checking if he still had his tongue. Seeing the chance and ignoring the coppery taste of blood he dashed for the closed door. Before he could make it far, a hand grabbed his hair by the fistful. He hissed and yelped in pain as he was dragged to the adjacent office. He was thrown in and the door locked. Regaining his wits he scuttled backwards.
Abaneko painted a frightening picture, eyes filled with rage with blood and spit dripping from his mouth. "You're going to pay for that." He advanced on the cowering man with the intent to harm. He grabbed Hari's hair again and slammed his head on the wall behind him. The intense pain caused Hari to grab his head as a ringing echoed in his ears. The motion was repeated a couple of times until Hari passed out.
He woke up to the filling of something heavy draped over him. He groaned at the pain in his skull and brought his hands up, trying to push whatever was over him off. The movement was sluggish with little energy to speak of. His hands were grabbed and placed somewhere above his head. Whatever was over him was moving, and he could feel something hard pressed against his thigh. It took him a moment to gather himself enough to realize that there was something wrong with the situation. He heard a moaning groan right next to his ear and tensed. 'What happened? What is going on?' He tried to move his arms again but realized his hands were pinned over his head. His limbs felt so heavy. His vision still had dark spots but he could see a large figure moving over him. He shook his head, trying to remember what was going on. "Ah, bitch." The person above him said. As his vision cleared, so did his mind and the memories came crushing back.
Realizing that it was Abaneko above him, dry-humping on his thigh, he started trembling and shook his head in denial. He tried to move, eliciting a deep groan from the man above him as he shuddered in what Hari could only interpret as intense pleasure. He thrust a couple more times before tensing up with another shudder and a long moan. A sob tore itself from Hari's throat. Abaneko looked up at him, eyes misted. He grinned. "Oh, don't cry Hari-kun. We will both have such fun if you just do as I say. You're so beautiful, all mine." "G-get off me. Please." "Now, now. We only just got started. I was going to wait until you woke up but you were so hot I couldn't help myself. I was so hard, it was driving me insane. Look now, I'm all hard again, even if I just had the best orgasm of my life. Just think about it is making my cock leak again." He pushed his hard-on against the bearer's thigh. "Feel how hard you're making me, Hari-kun. Every night I spill all over my hand just thinking about you. I have waited for so long."
The tears rolled down Hari's face as the man undid his pants. He stroked himself a few times. "Oh, Kami. I can't wait to make you mine. Ah." His eyes rolled in his head. Hari moved his arms again, trying to break free from the hold. "Don't bother. I gave you a strong drug that will put you down for a while. We don't want you escaping after all, do we?" "Abaneko-san, please let me go. I did nothing to deserve this." He tried to move again, slow as if his body refused to obey. "Not until I'm done. Then you will see how good we are together, how perfect we are for each other. You will beg for me Hari-kun." As if to prove his point, the man grabbed the waistband of his jeans and began to pull off the clothing.
Hari's breath quickened. This was not happening. It couldn't be. Tears rolled down his face, heart pounding in his chest and mind whirling frantically. He couldn't force his body to move. He was scared, so scared. He screwed his eyes shut. 'Please stop.' He wanted it to end. He wanted everything to stop. He wanted to forget he even woke up this morning. 'Stop!'
He felt a large surge of power inside himself, the energy crackling across his whole body. The pressure built up within himself until it became too much. A strangled gasp escaped his body as his magic welled up inside himself, responding to his intense fear and panic. With no safe outlet, it burst out of his body carelessly. "What the-" was all Abaneko had the chance to say before he was splattered across the walls. Hari passed out a second time.
A loud banging sound was what woke Hari up again. He sat up slowly, noting how sticky everything felt. Red assaulted his senses. Everything was covered in the crimson substance. He lifted his hand up to stare at it. It was covered in the red substance too with small bits of chunk. Then everything hit him. He was frozen in shock once again, staring at his hand. The door caved in on itself. Gasps were heard from the doorway. Hari slowly turned to face the shinobi as well as the library workers that were now crowding the door. When the situation registered in the shinobi's minds they were quick to pull out their kunai. Hari knew right then that he looked bad. Covered from head to toe in someone's blood and unharmed himself, he didn't look like a victim. Rather, it looked like he had murdered Abaneko. 'I guess I did.' Hari couldn't help the giggle that left his mouth. This turned into outright laughter. All this was so bizarre. Never in a thousand years did he think he would be caught up in this situation. Never did he think he would kill someone by mistake. He didn't know if to continue laughing or start crying. What Abaneko had tried to do was not right, but he didn't deserve death. Before he could decide whether to start crying he was knocked out cold.
AN: I hurt mine own feeling again. Me, Myself and I are sad.
Chapter 9 will be long in coming. Pairing suggestions please, but remember: Hari is NOT in any pairings. Not negotiable. I'm open to mpreg though, as well as conception methods.
