Chapter 9

"What is on your mind my dear?" Question Shikamaru as he pulled her into his arm as they left their children's bedroom.

Naruto looked into his eyes. "I am exhausted from all those bastards hunting after me. I am just burning out. I need to just leave me be and leave Kurama alone." She said with frustration lacing her voice.

Shikamaru pulled her into him tighter and kissed her forehead. "I know. If there was anything, I could do for you. I would do it. I would give you the world and stop those bastards for you." He told her resting his forehead against hers.

"I know." Said Naruto as she wrapped her fist into his shirt. "Let's get some sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a long day and I don't think Kakashi-sensei is going to babysit for us again or anymore." She said with a small giggle.

"Yeah. The kids have done a number on your old sensei." Said Shikamaru with a chuck.

Elsewhere

Pein sits in his dark room looking around. 'I shall be God and bring back my best friend.' A dark smile graces his lips as he closes his eyes. 'Madara will not get this wish he wants. I will take that wish for myself.' He just chucks to himself.

The next day in the village

Naruto sat in the kitchen. She was sipping on her tea as she had finish making breakfast for everyone as everyone was still sleeping. "It is peaceful this early in the morning.

"That is it kit. But the kits are getting up soon and your mate is already up." Said Kurama with a smirk on his muzzle.

"Yeah, I can hear him moving around upstairs." Said Naruto with a small smile on her face.

"So do you think your mate is strong enough for what is to come?" Question Kurama a question he has asked one to many times. But he only asks for he worries for his kit and the little kits.

'I believe he is. He has already became a Sannin of the Stag at a young age. Something not even Jiraiya and Tsunade couldn't do.' Said Naruto with a soft smile on her face.

"True. I just hope he can do it." Said Kurama as he yawns to take another nap as he could feel Shikamaru enter the kitchen now as they could hear little feet rushing around upstairs.

"Good morning." Said Shikamaru as he kisses Naruto on the cheek.

"Morning." Said Naruto with a soft smile on her face as she leans into him.

Just then three little kits ran into the kitchen taking their seats as Naruto stood up and served them their breakfast. "Morning my kits." She told her little ones.

"Morning momma kitsune." All three said with a giggle.

Shikamaru arched a brow at this. For it was the first time he had heard his children call his future wife that. He glanced over at her and she just winked at him and he just rolled his eyes at her with a sly smirk on his face.

"Well my troublesome little kits you will be going and spending the day with grandma and grandpa today. For momma and daddy have to go back to work today." Said Shikamaru with a sigh.

All three looked at their parent's with shock on their little faces. "Really?" They asked as one.

"Yes. My little kits. We have to go back onto active duty. But mommy has been telling you this for a while now and I know you love spending time with grandma and grandpa and Granny Tsunade and Kakashi-sensei." Said Naruto with a soft smile on her face.

"We know." Said Ryoko with a pout on her face.

Her two brothers began giggling. "We know mommy. We love spending time with them, and we will hang out with them while your away mommy and daddy." The boys said as one.

Naruto smiled at her children and Shikamaru just chuckled at his little ones. "They are just like their mother." He said with another chuckle.

There was a knock at the door. Naruto let out a sigh. "It appears ANBU are here to drag me to see Granny." She said standing up and kissing each of her little one on the cheek.

Naruto slowly walked to the front door as she didn't want to deal with Granny Tsunade and whatever unlucky ANBU that was standing at her door. Just then there was more knocking at her door.

"KEEP YOUR DIAPERS ON! MOMMY COMING TO THE DOOR!" Yelled Ryoko from the kitchen.

Naruto couldn't help from laughing. Full blown laughter as the knocking stopped at what her little girl had yelled. 'Yeah, Ryoko was a mini me.' She thought to herself.

"You're telling me brat and if I have to be resealed. I want to be sealed in her." Said Kurama with a chuckle.

'Yeah, yeah I know she is your favorite out of all the kits.' She said with a chuckle as she open the door to look at the Neko masked ANBU standing there before her.

"Hello Neko." Said Naruto with a smile.

"Hello Naru-chan." Said Neko with a smile from under her mask. "Was that your little Ryoko that was yelling from behind you?" She question.

"Yes, that was my cute little Ryoko-chan who is a mini me." Said Naruto with a giggle. "So, Granny Tsunade wants to see me?" She asked Neko.

"Yes, Lady Tsunade would like to see you this morning." Said Neko with a smile from under her mask. "Now allow me to take us to see Lady Tsunade." She said as she placed her hand on the girl's shoulder.

Just then they vanished in a swirl of leaves and appeared in the Hokage's office. Tsunade was sitting behind her desk looking at a scroll with a frown on her face. 'What am I going to do?' She whispered to herself. But she looked up from the scroll as she saw the girl, she called for standing before her.

"So, Granny what do you need?" Question Naruto as she dropped onto the chair before Tsunade's desk.

"Brat….How many times have I told you not to call me that?" Hissed out Tsunade making a fist getting ready to punch the girl before her.

Naruto just smirked. "But it's true. I made you and Jiraiya grandparents." She said with a smug grin on her face.

Tsunade froze in her chair blinking looking at the blonde sitting across from her. "Damn brat." She growled out as she let out a sigh. "Where are my little angels?" She asked with a soft smile on her face.

"They are with their dad finished breakfast and heading to the Nara Estate after he gets them ready or after they get themselves ready for the day and give him his third bath for the day." Said Naruto with a smile on her face.

Tsunade smiled. "I'll go and visit them later." She said. "But I have a pressing mission for you." She told Naruto with a sigh.

"So what is the mission?" Question Naruto as she was now serious and sitting up straight.

"I got a mission for you and the team you put together….the girl that held a…..." Tsunade couldn't finish it.

"The girl was kidnapped, and you need me to go save her and who I pick for the team. Will be putting our lives on the line. So it will be best I do not have Shikamaru on the team for if something happens to me. The kits will still have one parent. As well Kurama has said he will return to the village and wants to be sealed within Ryoko." Said Naruto with a frown on her face.

Tsunade let out a sigh. "Yes." She said.

"Alright. Let me see a list of all the shinobi in the village." Said Naruto as she held out her hand.

Next time the recuse mission of Fu. Who will make it and who will die?
