Chapter 10
Regina groans starting to wake up feeling warm sunshine on her face. She cracks open one eye closing as soon as she open it feeling sharp pain go through her head. She turns around towards the wall opening her eyes again meeting darkness over her face instead of straight sunlight. She moves sitting up realizing she on top of the bed and still in her clothes. She puts a hand to her head holding it closing her eyes tight feeling sharp pains go through her skull. Her bedroom door opens and she feels someone sit on the bed with her.Emma smirks seeing her sister "well it looks like your hangover is winning " she said.
Regina cracks open an eye at her "ohh...hangover? What happened last night and why am I hungover?"
"Huh you don't remember?" Emma question seeing Regina give her a 'does it look like I remember ' look. "Well, you got drunk on bourbon at the wet bar in the study downstairs"
Regina looks at her confused before nodding her memories coming back "I was drinking and we were talking and..." she trails off looking at Emma.
Emma smiles handing her pain meds "Don't worry it's still just between us" she said softly handing her a water bottle also. Regina nods taking it, taking the pills quickly.
Emma watchs her humming "so if you are remembering then you must remember what we said we are going to start doing".
She drinks the water swallowing looking at emma with both eyes open "yeah...I don't think so. I was vulnerable, and drunk. My emotions were everywhere with me finally saying things out aloud but I can't. " she said softly "I was...I was just talking out of my head and I didn't...Emma doing it..."
Emma looks at her grabbing her hand "your scared. I get it, its understandable. You two been divorce then arguing and hitting low blows and now the truth out you don't want to try and fix something that could blow up in your face and crush your heart" she said softly "but I want you to think about it at least the first part. You know getting his attention back on you and only you".
Regina smiles her sister. She loves that she can count on her sister for anything and be there for her. She leans her head on her shoulder '"that I can do. He will think I'm trying to attract other men attention " she says looking up at her ignoring the fear in the back of her head about this whole idea.
"See already got a plan. Now I need to go wake your daughter up for breakfast " she said getting up. Regina furrow her brows confused before looking back at the bed seeing ryn nowhere near her. "When...where...?" She question.
"Last night when you were drunk and in my bedroom" Emma said walking out. Regina opens her mouth then close it nodding getting up fully off the bed going to go take a shower.
Emma stops outside the door to her bedroom getting her phone out. She gets on the group chat smiling. "Guys we need to re-think everything. If we want to get them back together then jealously is the way to do it and us doing more family things" she sends
"Uh where is this coming from?" Belle sends
"Its coming from the obvious signs. The whole waitress thing is one. You all saw Regina was looking. Jealously = possiveness over each other which they both have = back together and angry makeup sex = new baby probably" Emma sends moving inside the bedroom. She goes to ryn waking her up.
Robin looks at the text "well, damn. I mean she not wrong. They are both super possessive which makes their jealously very dangerous. Remember their engagement and us having to pull Regina away from rumple old boss, Katie?" He sends"Oh yeah. Didn't the police get called?" Belle sends
"Yep" emma sends carrying ryn downstairs to breakfast while texting "that was hilarious and I don't even know if y'all saw it but rumple look like a proud fiance " she sends "but let's get back to what I said. Can we do it? The rest they can do but just nudging them towards that direction is what we need to do'"
"Yep we can do it. I actually have a plan but you will need to see for your reactions to be real" Robin sends.
Belle looks at the text shaking her head. "Okay " she sends Emma seeing belle handing her ryn looking at the text then her with an raised eyebrow.
She sighs "fine" she sends sitting down beside belle.
Robin grins seeing their answers going to rumple room knocking on the door. Rumple opens the door his face tussle and wearing only lounge pants that are low. He smirks getting an idea "nevermind" he says to him walking away ignoring his confused face.
He hears him close his door back rushing to Regina "gina?" He says knocking softly on her bedroom door.
Regina comes out the bathroom wearing a sexy hollowed out leopard one-piece jumpsuit with a black jacket on and black stiletto ankle boots. She looks at him with an raised eyebrow '"yes?" She ask while putting on her eyelashes.
Robin looks at her "okay then! Work it gina!" He exclaim taking a picture of her. She laughs looking in the mirror fluffy out her loose curls.
She smirks '"thank you robin. I just thought Its time i start acting my age and dressing like a single hot mom instead of just a mom who letting her relationship affect her life " she tells him. Well that's some of the truth, really it's all for rumple but only her and sister needs to know. She thinks popping her lips.
He nod '"well your doing it, very well' he says "I was going to ask you to do me a favor but it's fine I got it. You go back looking sexy' he said walking out sending the picture to the group chat.
He goes back to rumple room knocking on the door "get up its breakfast time and you know Cora will be angry if your not down there" he said.
Rumple groans hearing knocking then what robin said. "Tell that...woman I'm coming and so is Henry " he said losing his tough voice towards the end.
He yawns stretching looking down at Henry seeing him sleep peaceful. He gets off the bed going to the bathroom taking a quick shower and doing his morning routine. He comes out the bathroom 10 minutes later seeing Henry sitting up staring at him. He bites his lip trying to hold in laughter at Henry sleep straight face. "I see someone woke up" he said Henry looks at him silently then lifts his arms up. Rumple chuckles grabbing him, taking him to the bathroom to use it and getting him ready to go.He washes his face while Henry using the bathroom smiling at him "you look just like your mother" he whispers to him.
He pulls away going back to the bedroom grabbing Henry some clothes. "Henry stay on the toilet I'm coming" he said rushing to grab everything. He gets to the bathroom helping Henry off the toilet, and helping him wash his hands. He stands him on the counter while he changes his clothes giving Henry his toothbrush to brush his teeth at the same time. "I don't need your nana yelling at me so fucking early so we are going to multi task ".He finish up brushing his hair before opening the door allowing Henry to go ahead and leave. Robin walks up to his room and leans against the doorway. He sees henry walk out dress smiling at him. He looks at rumple "I was just told to drag your ass out of bed'".
Rumple looks at robin rolling his eyes "I don't even need to guess who said that" he said grabbing his phone following him downstairs.
Robin laughs "so I had an idea that we can do today. Well all of us" he said "it has to involved snowboarding and lessons from that hot blonde instructor. You know the one who I called a barbie '" he said.
Rumple nods "yeah the one who we saw on the way to ride floaties down the mountain. That actually sounds like my cup of tea. Lessons with a hot babe and I'm not breaking rules because the whole family doing it just I'm going to make sure I need more help then everyone else" he said smirking getting to the kitchen.
He walks in the kitchen kissing his mother cheek and glaring at Cora. He turns and sees a woman wearing a tight leopard jumpsuit with black boats. He raises an eyebrow walking towards her "you know I don't think I remember seeing a woman as sexy as you here yesterday. You can't be a chef or anything unless your an freelancer and I don't remember you on the plane here so you must be either the owner of this gorgeous cabin or my future wife" he flirts looking at her.
Regina turns around looking at him with a smirk "actually it's your baby mama. Do you actually use lines like that?" She askRumple looks at her shocked.
He looks at her up and down "what?" He whisper harsh "seriously?! " he said throwing his hands up walking away. He stops looking at everyone in the kitchen '"So why didn't anyone tell me that the woman was regina?!" He yells "you heard and saw me go over there trying to...you know!" He says looking at them.
Emma smirks cutting ryn and Henry pancakes "awe did you think that it was a random woman in here? " she said.Rumple flips her off "kiss my ass Emma" he said getting on the stool grabbing a plate and some meat.
Belle smiles '"well now you know who it is why are you so...agressive?" She ask innocently.
He looks at her with a glare starting to eat. He ignores them eating his food, frustrated. This is not what he needs. Especially not after that little wet dream he had of him and Regina. Now seeing her in such hot, sexy, clothing that really insinuates her breasts and ass just right..."RUMPLE!" Regina yells snapping her fingers in front of his face.He gets out of his head looking at her trying his best not to look down "yes?" He said
"I said is it a problem with me wearing this? Is it too much to see your ex wearing hot clothing?" She ask him in a fake innocent tone.
Rumple eye slightly twitches recognizing Regina fake innocent voice. God it's hot. He breathes out some air giving her a smile '"why should it? Your single and grown, your allow to wear whatever what you want to get yourself that one nighter" he said stabbing his sausage.
She raises an eyebrow at what he said glancing down seeing him stabbing his food. She smirks shrugging '"good because I thought it's about time I start dressing like I'm in charge of my life and that just because I'm a mother doesn't mean I can't look sexy". She said doing a turn walking away swaying her hips slightly.
Rumple watchs his eyes glancing down to her ass before looking away going to his plate.Regina smirks grabbing her plate from by the stove. She goes towards the seat beside rumple sitting beside him. She feels his eyes on her not caring starting to eat her food. Robin chuckles watching how edgy rumple is looking near Regina.
He clears his throat "so I was thinking as a family we can go snowboarding" he said "we don't have to drive we can walk there since the resort just 3 minutes away" he said.Cora looks at him "we are going to need to hire an instructor or well instructors for the babies" she said drinking her mimosa.
Robin smiles "got it covered" he said walking away. He comes back with three female blonde instructors. Rumple drops his fork looking at them. "Everyone meet our instructors, lindsay, Layla, and kayla" he said. They smiles waving at them.
Rumple moves off the stool going towards them. "Are you three betting women?" He ask.
Lindsay looks at him curious "we are. What you have in mind?"
Rumple smirks '"if I can beat one of you in snowboarding after one lesson, one or all of you I'm not picky have to go to dinner with me and to the bonfire tonight for adults".Regina rolls her eyes watching him and hearing what he said. She turns back to her food jealously coursing through her.
The instructors look at each other then him "deal but if you lose...you have to do each of us a favor " lindsay said.
Rumple looks at them moving closer "sexual?" He whispers.
Lindsay laughs "well...we will see how the night goes" she said looking at him up and down under her eyelashes. "We have a deal?' She ask holding her hand out.
Rumple shakes her hand "your on. Let me go change into some snowboarding gear and I will meet you ladies outside " he said walking out the kitchen. They nod, lindsay watching him leave smirking.
Regina squeezes the fork tight looking at the blonde bitches. She puts on a smile "So, you taught babies before?" She ask nodding her head towards ryn and Henry.The two other instructors phone rings. They walk outside to answer leaving lindsay in there.
"Yes I have and I must say these two are so adorable" she compliments smiling at them. She looks at the woman who ask the question "are you also skiing?"
Regina watchs her smiling "yes I am".
"Well your going to need to change. Your outfit will not work out there, trust me" she said
"Well I don't know you but thank you anyway" she said giving her a fake smile, as rumple walk downstairs in right attire.
He looks at lindsay "ready?" He ask holding a hand out.
She grins grabbing "yes but what about your family?'
He waves them off "oh they can catch up when they get there. I thought we could have a private lesson first so I can get the basics" he said walking towards the door with her.
She nods following him. She looks at the instructors "I'm going to give him a private lesson, could you wait for the family?' she ask walking away with rumple.
Emma rolls her eyes "wow. Did he just ditch us for the blondie?"
Regina scoffs "I hope he catches something and that she is crazy " she said drinking her mimosa quick before grabbing the bottle. She stares at the bottle before bringing it to her lips taking it to the head. She gets off the stool shaking her head "I'm going to change then get Henry and ryn snowboarding clothes" she says walking out continuing to drink the mimsoa bottle.
Everyone watchs her drinking straight from the bottle and walk out. Belle looks at them "uh, someone jelaous" she comments.
Emma nods "yep. She upset but doesn't want to show it so she drinks it away or listen to music or workout ' Emma said wiping the kids mouth.
Cora sighs "I still don't understand why they ended. Why didn't they talk to us or go to therapy? This...whatever they call it hatred, blocking emotional ties with each other, trying to co-parent without feeling certain way towards the other one life is idiotic ".
Fiona nods "yep but what are you going to do? They are adults with kids. They need to figure this...whatever out " she said sighing putting her plate in the sink "I'm going to go get change, come on Peter " she said walking out the kitchen.
Rumple feels the cold area hit his face shivering. God he forgot how cold Colorado can be. He looks at the instructor "my name is rumple by the way. I forgot I never introduce myself before I got bold and made the bet" he says glancing over at her.
Lindsay looks at him smiling "I like it. So why did you make such a bold move? It could of gone bad and been embrassing"
He shrugs "well I just wanted to be exciting and I just wanted an excuse to spend time with a woman who isn't family or my past" he said seeing them getting closer to the snowboard hill.
She nods before stopping looking at him "what you mean by the past?' She ask.
He blows out a breath of air "the woman I was sitting beside is my baby mama and my ex-wife. Our family's are very close and they are best friends so even though we divorce we are still in each other lives a lot by either the kids or our families"
'"Oh. Oh! So that means the two babies are yours?'
He looks at her "yep. Those are my Angel's and miracles " he softly says starting to walk again "but let's get off me. I want to get on this bet we are doing and your little favor thing".
She laughs '"ah yes the maybe sexual favors...how about we talk about that after I teach you?' She says walking with him to the hill.
She drops her snowboard looking at him "ready?' She smirks.He looks at her then the hill.
He drops his also nodding "why not?'
The family walks out the house everyone finally dress and ready in snowboarding attire. Regina holds ryn and Henry starting to walk. She slightly buzz but it's not like she about to do anything that requires a clear head. She a mother, she doesn't have time to be snowboarding just to prove a bimbo. No matter how much she wants to wring the bimbo and rumple neck.
She sees them at hill, stopping seeing rumple and the instructor. She puts the babies down putting on a smile walking towards them.
Rumple trudges back up the hill seeing the instructor laughing '"it's not funny' he said.
She laughs harder "yes..yes it is and you thought you could beat me' she said grabbing her snowboard "how about this? I like you and your funny and very hot so after this tonight around 8 meet me in the ski resort lobby. We will discuss...some things that are fun " she said smirking at him.
He stares at her before smirking '"ooh gladly' he says flopping on the snow. He closes his eyes for a second then open them hearing boots crunch then stop near him. She opens his eyes and turns around seeing his family arrive. "Hey! You finally made it"
Regina hums "yes so now since we are here, want to help me OUR kids?' She ask putting a loud emphasis on our glancing at lindsay.
Rumple sits up looking at her "sure, it's no problem my beautiful EX wife" he said giving her a look. She glares at him kicking snow in his face "oops" she deadpans
He hums rubbing the snow out his face looking at her "mature" he said standing up. He grabs henry and ryn going over to lindsay.
Regina watchs him shaking her head walking away going towards the resort. She hears snow crunching behind her sighing '"emma please. I just want to be a alone right now" she said.
"I never understood why you like being alone" a deep voice said behind her. She stops turning around gasping. "Graham?" She question smiling at him.
He grins holding his arms '"it's nice to see you gina" he said pulling her in for a hug. She grins hugging him back tight "Same" she said backing up looking at him "wow you have changed" she said looking him up and down.
He laughs "thank you? I hope that's good" he said. She laughs "yes I mean you aren't the same guy from med school and high school and childhood ".
"Yes well I get rid of the ego, jock nature and started working out more and being more of someone a woman would love to call hers" he said. He looks at her "you changed also. Your hair has grown out more and you gotten a lit bit taller" he said looking at her "aren't you also married with kids? I heard around our hometown that you are a pediatric surgeon, which congrats, and you are a mother and wife. I wonder who the lucky guy is who lock you down."
She chuckles '"everything right but the wife thing. I'm an ex wife now. I was married but...things happen" she said softly glancing at rumple watching him with that bimbo. She gets an idea smirking looking over at Graham."I'm sorry about that. He must be a true idoit letting a woman like you slip away from him" he said staring at her with adoration and a little bit of a crush in his eyes.
She nods not listening to what he said "well my family is over there and so are my kids. Why don't you come over and meet them?" She said grabbing his hand pulling him with her.
He nods feeling her pull him "uh sure" he answer seeing he didn't really have a choice. He always had a slight crush on Regina. Throughout the time he known her he always felt something for her and when he had the chance to be with her he blew it but he never stop crushing on her. Even after he had find out she was taken and becoming a mother.
Regina smiles walking to everyone "guess who I ran into? My EX Graham " she said saying the ex part loudly looking straight at rumple. She knows he hates all her exes and when they were married he use to be so possessive over her every time they ran into one of her exes. She smiles looking turning to him "the two babies are my son Henry and my daughter ryn and the guy they are with is my baby daddy".
He waves smiling at them "its nice to see you again Emma and Mr. And Mrs. Mills" he said looking at the kids "regina they are adorable. I can tell they are both yours. Especially your little boy he has your face and your daughter is just you" he said smiling at her before turning his attention to the father. He holds his hand out "you must be the lucky man who got to have kids with this gorgeous woman".
Rumple stares at him trying to figure out why the name Graham sounds familiar. It clicks in his head and he stares at him unimpressed and slightly angry. He shakes his hand "you must be the asshole who left this gorgeous woman for a redhead thot who cheated on you and tried to make you a father to a baby that wasn't yours. Oh wait no sorry your the man who cheated on her 16 times, missed her birthday to get blowjob from her ex friend Kathryn and took her virginity giving her the worst sex she ever had" he says.
Regina stares at rumple her eyes wide. Graham let's go of his hand staring at rumple irritated "that was the past and I never took her virginity ".
"Ah sorry I'm getting you mixed up with another jackass who did that. Your just the bad sex part unless she was...what was the name she told me you kept calling her...oh yes melina. The biggest thot ever." He said "I'm not even from where you guys are and I knew the name melina. Bitch had more diseases then a subway. I hope you got tested" he said putting his hands in his pockets.
Everyone stands there awkward and just shocked. No one thought rumple would go off like that. Regina stands there her emotions conflicting. She looks at rumple half angry, half turned on and half in love/adoration. Graham looks at him '"I should probably go" he said.
"Please do that" rumple said in a dark voice watching the guy.
He stares at rumple irritated before turning to Regina moving to kiss her cheek and hold her hand "is your face book and Instagram still the same?" He ask.
Regina opens her mouth to answer "Actually it's not she changed it and it's more an account for the kids we made together " rumple cuts in pulling Regina back towards where he was. Regina stares at him feeling him move her behind her not knowing what to say.
Graham looks at him '"she can speak for herself" he said getting annoyed.
"I know. But I already answered so you can go now. You interrupted family time " he said irritated giving him a fake smile.
Graham chuckles nodding backing away "regina my mother has my new number in case you ever want to meet for lunch or coffee or just talk " he said glancing at rumple before walking away
Rumple watchs him his body rigged and angry. He sees he is gone giving ryn and Henry to her. He grabs his snowboard going to the instructor who was watching everything "let's go again" he said in a serious tone all playfulness or any happiness gone out of his voice. She nods putting her snowboard down starting the lesson going down the hill.
Rumple follows her needing something to take his mind off the Graham and cool him down.
The rest of the family just stands there quietly not knowing what to say. Robin clears his throat "how about we all go inside the ski resort and get some hot chocolate and warm up by the fire?" He suggested breaking the quietness and tension.
Everyone nods walking inside the resort. Regina sits down by the fire with the kids helping them out their thick jackets so they don't burn up. She gets out of hers leaning against the couch sighing. The blowout outside between rumple and Graham is not something she expected to happen. She didn't even think rumple was even listening to her when she had revealed that much about their relationship. She sees a cup of hot chocolate in front of her face grabbing it looking up seeing emma.
"Can we talk?"
Regina nods getting up following emma towards the fireplace side. She leans against the wall sipping her hot chocolate looking at her. "Did you do that on purpose?' Emma bluntly ask.
"No. At first when I saw him I wasn't going to introduce him but then I saw rumple with that bimbo and I thought why not give him a taste of what I'm feeling. I didn't know he would do all that and reveal that much." She said bringing her hot chocolate to her lips "but I'm not upset that he did" she mumbles into her cup looking down.
Emma looks at her "I heard that, you know" .
Regina sighs "I didn't know. I didn't even know he knew all that. I told him that years ago! We were engaged or dating I think when I told him more about my past relationships" she said "I thought he was sleep when I told him that deep in detail".
"Did he really miss your birthday and cheat on you that many times?'
She glances down at her cup looking at the hot chocolate "...yes" she whispers looking at her hiding any emotion on the subject "I didn't know about the 16 women he cheated on me with until after he left me. Hell I didn't even know about the thot till when he left me. She was in his car smirking at me" she said "the only good thing I can say is after the first time we had sex was bad, I never slept with him again".
"Why didn't you tell me? I'm your sister! I only about the left you part not the rest that rumple seems to know. And then he said something about Daniel thinking it was graham?"
"Emma please! I don't want to get into this right now. Okay I'm already...I'm so confused" she whimpers "what he did...that has only happened during our marriage I never thought we would do it now. "
Emma nods looking at her "you two need to have a real talk. Like a serious talk. I mean I'm so confused. Do you two hate each other or do you care and love each other?! Because exes who hate each other wouldn't be getting into blowouts with their ex past exes or-"
"Pulling them away when they touch in a possessive, protective manner" she finish looking at emma. "I know. But it's not like I can just go and ask to talk about the shit that broke our marriage up!" She hiss loudly forgetting they were indoors.
People in the resort turned towards them and there family did too. Emma looks at everyone flipping them off before looking back at Regina "I get it. Well I don't really get it but you know what I mean. Just...Regina is it your scared to have this conversation or are you scared having this conversation won't change anything?"
Regina looks down then back at her, her answer showing on her face"I dont want to talk about this anymore'" she says walking away going back towards the kids.
Emma sighs watching her. Nothing will be changed, nothing they will do will work until those two talk through their issues. Their mouths might be saying one thing but their actions are saying a whole different story.
