After a chapter full of action, we've officially entered the FINAL chapter of our story! This one will be a bit calmer one to wrap up the loose ends and, more importantly, allow Spidey and Kitty to have that long overdue talk about their relationship. I'll save the long talk for the end, so let's jump to our story!

SPIDER-MAN AND KITTY PRYDE: DANGEROUS GAMES
Final Chapter: Learning from Past Mistakes
"NOOOOOOOO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" Arcade's anger got the best of him as he keeps pounding his control deck with his fists "AAAARGH!" he screams as he throws his tantrum, breaking the screen that still shows his utter defeat and the phrase 'GAME OVER' written over it "This…this is just…AAAARGH!" his frustration reaches new levels as his tantrum grows, kicking and punching the equipment in front of him "This just can't get any worse…"
"Oh, I think it can" a voice is heard in the room startling Arcade and when he turns back, his face turns to a look of shock when he sees who has just entered his private room.
"K-Ki-Kil-Kilgore!?" Arcade tries to get out of the shock of seeing the young ruler of Madripoor "What-What are you doing here? How'd you find me?"
"Heh, you thought I don't keep track of my own company's weapons and devices?" Kilgore explains while he takes off his sunglasses "Relax, I'm not here to kill you, although F.Y.I., Wilhelmina was insisting on killing you herself but I told her to stop, I do see some potential in this 'Neo-Murderworld' thing" he reveals, causing Arcade to start to calm down, even though he remains a bit shocked at his presence.
"Oh well…" Arcade starts to regain his composure "I always strive to please my clients and my traps always deliver when it comes to inflict maximum damage, whether physical or psychological" he retakes his usual charming demeanor.
"I can tell" Kilgore explains "But of course, you still have to pay for all the damages that my machines received, not to mention how pissed off Mr. Pierce will be once he's rebuilt" Kilgore explains, adding Donald Pierce's situation.
"I knew you'd say something like that, but I can assure you that whatever damages the machines have suffered, they all were used to its fullest potential" Arcade tries to avoid the punishment arguing about the devices given by Kilgore.
"Is that so?" Kilgore asks, rising an eyebrow "Because I can bet you don't even know everything this thing can do" he then reveals the mind-probing tiara that Arcade used to mentally extract the information from Spidey and Kitty's minds.
"You're telling me that it can do more than extracting information?" Arcade asks, looking how Kilgore walks towards him, nodding his head.
"Oh yes, it can do another thing" Kilgore replies, and right then he kicks Arcade on his shin, then he gives another one to his chest forcing him to sit on his chair and then puts the tiara on his forehead "It can also erase memories" he then twists a knob from the side of the device and pushes the button activating it, causing a rush of electricity flow on Arcade's head, causing him to twitch and scream in pain for a few minutes until he falls unconscious.
"I assume it worked" the German accent of Kilgore's colleague, Maximilian Von Frankenstein, echoes in the place as he walks in.
"It did" Kilgore replies "That tiara is good, so I just erased the last 24 hours from Arcade's mind, that way he'll never know about our dealings, thus becoming one less baggage to deal with" he explains while he looks at Arcade and then turns to Max "Download all the blueprints and data from his servers" he tells him while he takes a lollipop out of the pocket of his jacket.
"And what about the footage?" Maximilian asks with curiosity.
"Delete it, I don't give a #$%& about heroes succeeding Arcade's traps" Kilgore replies as he leaves the room, allowing Max to do his work, although both of them fail to realize that in spite of giving Arcade the final blow, they inadvertently ended up helping Spider-Man in a very important matter…his secret identity.
MEANWHILE, AT NEO-MURDERWORLD
Once Arcade's machine was defeated and destroyed, most of the heroes took a break, yet some like Teresa, Nightcrawler and Bishop decided to make a deeper search of the surroundings. While Arcade himself was nowhere to be found, his computers, servers and robots were discovered. The servers were wiped clean and even some communication blockers were found and destroyed, allowing the groups to call for backup in order to leave the place.
Meanwhile, the Marauder ship docked at the platform and Mary Jane steps out, being received by the White Queen, Emma Frost.
"You made a very risky move, Miss Watson" Emma starts to scold her "Don't get me wrong, we're grateful, but it's not the kind of play someone like you could pull, so I advice to for a little heads up, for next time, if there is a next time" she warns her with a serious tone.
"You should relax, Miss Frost" MJ replies "I just don't like being benched, and if you're wondering how I managed to pull it off, let's just say that I had some help" she shows her smartphone as she says those words "So with that said, have a nice day" she adds, walking by to leave her, but as she moves beside her, Emma takes advantage of the moment to dig inside her mind.
"You think you can have secrets, Miss Watson?" Emma ponders in her mind as she discovers what she was talking about "Huh, so she used to work with Tony Stark, nothing new" she notices her work, but then she looks stunned when she discovers a piece of information about her and Tony "My, oh My…interesting piece, what should I do with this?" she ponders, but then decides to keep it to herself for the moment.
MJ walks through the wreckage, approaching Black Cat and Silk, being the more familiar faces in the place, especially since she does want to avoid dealing with Spidey for the time being.
"Well ladies, this was…fun" MJ comments to the pair.
"You have a weird definition of 'fun', Watson" Black Cat sarcastically replies.
"At least everyone made it through and we won the day" Silk comments "And Peter seems to be back on track with Kitty" she comments, looking at Spidey ad Kitty having a private moment together.
"Ugh" Black Cat groans, rolling her eyes to show her annoyance "Spider can do a lot better than that little brat" she comments, prompting the other ladies to groan.
"And you consider yourself as that 'better'?" MJ asks, but before an argument can start, the three ladies are approached by one of the Marauders, the pyrokinetic Pyro.
"Ladies, couldn't help but notice that you're lonely around here, so allow me to introduce myself" he then makes a small reverence "I'm the intrepid Pyro, representative of the Marauders, at your everlasting service" he concludes winking at them, but all the three women look at each other with baffled faces and after a few seconds of awkward silence, Pyro turns serious, concerned that his attempt failed.
"Uhhhh, I have to make a phone call, excuse me" MJ quickly excuses herself from the place, stepping away from him.
"Ew…" Black Cat shows a face of disdain and walks away as well, leaving him with Silk.
"I need a boyfriend, but I'm not that desperate" Silk comments, turning around and leaving a dumbfounded Pyro, dealing with this overwhelming rejection from the ladies.
"Oh, come on! What is it? Was it something I said?" Pyro asks, still in disbelief of such a showcase of rejection.
"I don't know what it could be" the voice of Colossus interjects, appearing right next to Pyro "Maybe is the fact that you have a terribly awful and horrible looking black skull painted all over your face" he comments, gesturing with his hands to highlight his skull.
"It's not painted, it's a tattoo…" Pyro mutters in lower voice, yet audible enough for Colossus to hear it, leaving him dumbfounded.
"Are you for real? That's a tattoo?" Colossus asks, still shocked at the revelation, shaking his head in denial as he leaves him alone again.
After the minutes went by, Teresa returns with her companions after an excruciating search, and all the information was already notified to her superiors from the Agents of Wakanda, which leads her to contact her boss, Director Okoye.
"We already searched the servers and data but unfortunately most of it was already deleted from a remote location" Okoye relays the information to her agent "Nonetheless, you did a great work Agent Parker".
"Thanks Director Okoye, I'll keep you posted" Teresa replies as she approaches the rest of the group "Arcade's database was deleted from a remote location, the guy wasn't even here in the first place"
"Typical from Arcade" Bishop comments in reply "But at least we did good damage to his workplace" he adds, looking around the place.
Right then, five figures appear in the distance, walking with a synchronized strut and steady pace, prompting Emma Frost to step in front of the rest to receive them.
"Welcome girls, bring any news?" Emma asks the newcomers, her genetic daughters known as the Stepford Cuckoos.
"Hello Mum, we bring a barrage of news" All five girls speak in unison, smiling at their mother.
"First, we spoke with Sage and Beast, they are expecting a full report on Arcade's activities since they suspect they might be connected to Homines Verendi" Sophie is the first one to speak.
"I'll talk to Beast, Pyro, you're coming with me for debriefing" Bishop steps in, representing the Marauders crew for debrief.
"Sage also informed us that she has contacted Abigail Brand at S.W.O.R.D. and that she will arrange contact and transportation for Mr. Quill" Phoebe is the second to speak, causing Star-Lord to release a loud sigh of relief.
"Thank God for that green-haired woman" Star-Lord comments, laughing a bit since he still has a good connection with Brand thanks to the Guardians.
"She also contacted Jimmy Woo from the Atlas Foundation, they will arrange transportation for their representative" Mindee is the next to speak, in reference to Silk, member of the Agents of Atlas.
"I'll talk to Director Woo; I think it'll be better if Atlas also takes care of Black Cat, Ms. Watson and Mr. Wisdom if they want to" Silk replies, looking at the aforementioned people for the transportation arrangements.
"I'll be grateful for that, thanks" MJ replies with an amicable tone.
"Well, can't say no to a free ride" Black Cat comments, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Hmph, whetver" Wisdom tries to mumble due to his broken jaw, but he also agrees with being transported back to England with the Agents of Atlas.
"On another note, your new Black King, Mr. Da Costa wants to meet with the Council for a new proposal" Celeste tells Emma about the newly appointed Black King Roberto Da Costa, a suitable replacement for former –and exiled- King Sebastian Shaw.
"Roberto always has some weird scheme in mind, I'll see him at the meeting" Emma replies, slightly annoyed but also curious about what he has in mind.
"And also, Mr. Carnation wants to let you know he has your dress ready for tonight's date, and Mr. Summers is waiting for you at the Krakoan Gate to France" Esme concludes the round, prompting Emma to show a wide smile.
"Thank you for that, girls" Emma replies "With that said, is time we take our leave" she walks towards them but then she quickly turns around "Oh, I almost forgot, a little help for this, girls" she tells them as they walk towards Star-Lord, Wisdom and Colossus "Katherine, you should put your boyfriend aside for this" she telepathically warns Kitty, as she is prepared to fulfill her favor "Gentlemen, may I have your attention, please?" she tells them while at the same time she, alongside the Cuckoos, use their psychic powers to erase their knowledge of Spider-Man's identity from their minds, replacing them with images of Spider-Man partially unmasked "Thank you for your cooperation, gentlemen and have a nice day" she concludes with a small smirk "Done, your boyfriend no longer has to worry about it".
"Thanks Emma" Kitty replies via their psychic link "We appreciate it".
"For the record, I do blame him for your regression to Kitty instead of Kate" Emma points out that detail "But you're happy, that's what matters" she adds, knowing how good Kitty has been doing "Oh, by the way, I talked to that May Parker lady, a very nice woman, Hellfire Trading will add that F.E.A.S.T. Center to the list of people receiving our medicine"
"Thanks for that, Emma, Peter and I are also very grateful for that" Kitty replies, but then she realizes she just revealed her boyfriend's name to her, and that's when she connects the dots.
"Peter…Peter Parker, that man is Spider-Man?" Emma asks with a bit of surprise "Another boyfriend called Peter? You never change Katherine" she adds, showing a knowing smile to Kitty and right then she bids her farewell with Bishop, Pyro, Colossus and the Cuckoos heading to their personal Krakoan Gate to Madripoor.
After a while, a modified jet piloted by Jimmy Woo arrives to receive Silk and the rest, to which Cindy approaches Spidey and Kitty to bid her farewells.
"I'm taking them with me, but hey, it was good to work together" Silk comments to both of them.
"Good to see you too, shame it wasn't in better circumstances than last time" Spidey comments, recalling all they had to endure during the Kindred incident.
"Yeah, and you two look good together, fix this and keep up the good stuff, OK?" Silk gives them two thumbs up, encouraging them to alleviate their tensions and mend their relationship.
"Thanks for the talk, Silk, and Hey…" Kitty calls her out "You're cool, you know? You can call me Kitty" she smiles at her, thankful for that talk and even hinting at the start of a new friendship.
"Silk gestures in gratitude and bids her farewell to them, with her boarding the ship followed by Wisdom, then Star-Lord who waves goodbye to Kitty while Spidey shows his back to avoid seeing his face. Then Mary Jae steps in, but she gives a longing look at Spidey in the distance, still avoiding him but showing that she still cares in her own way, even though he had already moved on.
"So…no kiss goodbye for me?" Black Cat asks Spidey as she approaches him.
"Nope, I'm saving them for someone very important to me" Spidey replies with his normal tone, but he shows seriousness on his face.
"Are you that serious?" Black Cat asks, still looking a bit skeptical about it.
"Yes, I am" Spidey replies, even more serious "So if you'll excuse me, I'll be leaving home with my girlfriend, the woman I love and to whom I fought for this whole day" he adds, leaving Black Cat a bit stunned but she quickly scoffs and turns around gesturing with her hand as if she is saying 'Whatever' in order to leave, while Kitty shows a wide smile at the knowledge of how serious he is in their relationship, even though they still have to talk about what was transpiring before the whole situation.
ABOARD THE MARAUDER
With the situation settled, Spidey, Kitty and Teresa opted to travel back to New York aboard the Marauder, with Nightcrawler, Iceman and Storm joining them on the trip back. Kitty and Spidey are starting to relax after the big ordeal they just went through. Kitty and Spidey are holding hands while they walk around the ship, finally bumping with the rest of the group, Teresa talking with Nightcrawler and Iceman and Storm on the rail.
"Hey…I just want to say, thank you guys for the help on this" Spidey speaks to them with a grateful look on his face "Kitty and I went through a huge deal and with your help, we made sure this won't grow beyond his usual shtick" he adds, joking a bit.
"Anything for Kätschen, she's always a dear friend, ad any friend of hers, is a friend of ours, and you've been a good friend of us for long, Spider-Man" Nightcrawler replies, leading the way.
"Peter, actually" Spidey talks, surprising Kitty and the others with this revelation "A great woman once told me that I should expand my circle of trust, because I don't have to carry the burden of what I do on my own anymore, because is good to have friends who stand by you knowing who you are" he explains, recalling the time Kitty told him to let people know more about him, at least being more selective on the people he trusts, a gesture that warms Kitty's heart and even impresses her, for this proves that he does value her opinion and takes her seriously "So, I want you to be my friends, as much as I hope to be yours, standing by you in this and anything else, so the best way to gain that trust is by letting you know who I am, so this is me, Peter Parker, the guy from Queens, telling you that I'm Spider-Man" he finishes his words, leaving the trio of mutants awestruck.
"Peter Parker" Storm is the first one to speak "So that's the name of the man who brought Kitten's smile back" she shows a warm smile at the knowledge of the man who brought Kitty back to her joy after what she went through that forced her to leave Krakoa "I believe I speak for everyone when I say that you have our word that we will cherish this revelation and safeguard your identity, knowing that you are a valuable ally and friend for us" she proclaims, a sentiment that Nightcrawler and Iceman applaud and support "Especially knowing that his sister is a great combatant and person" she now compliments Teresa, a gesture she appreciates.
"Thanks for that, 'Ro" Kitty laughs, approaching her to talk while Iceman approaches Spidey to have a private talk with him.
"Peter Parker, huh?" Iceman comments, wrapping Spidey's shoulders with one arm as they walk on the deck "Now I remember you!" he exclaims, surprising Spidey a bit, yet he does recall their past friendship "We used to hang around a long time back, you were in college, I was doing solo stuff away from the X-Men and Angie was with us, man she used to have such a crush on you"
"No, she didn't!" Spidey laughs at that comment.
"Yes, she did, but maybe she never told you" Iceman replies "But I think she dated some other Spider-dude long ago" he recalls "But the point is that now I know who you are, I mean, is like suddenly all of my memories are rushing back to my mind" he tries to explain the sensation, but Spidey knows what he is talking about.
"The memories are being unlocked, that's a side effect of Doc Strange's spell once I re-reveal my identity" Spidey tries to explain "It was something I asked him to do after I revealed my identity back at the first Superhero Civil War"
"That I remember too!" Iceman exclaims, recalling the moment of his reveal all those years ago "And hey, look at you now, you're hanging with Kitty, Huh? That's great!" he laughs with him.
"Yeah, and to think today I spent the day with three of her exes" Spidey comments, remembering what he just went through.
"And now you're hanging with the fourth one" Iceman comments, pointing out the detail that he also dated Kitty, leaving Spidey in shock.
"WHAT!? You and Kitty? But-But you're…" Spidey tries to assimilate what he just heard but Iceman calms him down.
"Yes, it was long before I came out" Iceman explains, pointing out that they dated before he came out as gay "But if it's any consolation, we never made it past first base, not to mention that as you have seen, it was doomed to failure anyways" he recalls that detail, leaving Spidey a bit dumbfounded "But instead of focusing on stuff like that, focus on what you have now…Kitty's one of the greatest women I've ever known, Hell she was the last woman I dated before I came out, and she's a great friend for me, so she deserves someone equally great and, lame jokes aside, you rank on that list man, so you keep up the good pace with her and keep her happy, will ya?"
"I will man, thanks for that" Spidey replies, smiling at his friend in gratitude for the pep talk, but before they could keep the talk, Nightcrawler and Teresa approach them.
"Peter, here's something you should wear once we reach the city" Nightcrawler offers him a bandana with holes for the eyes "Since you still need to protect your identity, this should help you to cover it until you find a proper one" he adds, detailing his idea.
"It helps, actually" Spidey replies while he wears it "Thanks, Kurt" he adds with a kind tone of voice.
"Not a problem for a good friend" Nightcrawler comments "Especially being someone so close with this Liebevoller Engel" he comments, smiling at Teresa, but Spidey looks at both of them with a suspicious look.
"Is that a nickname?" Spidey asks, being ignorant of the German language, but Teresa interjects.
"Come on, Pete, he's just being gentle…and nice…and really sweet…" Teresa speaks but wanders as she lists Nightcrawler's virtues, sounding more smitten towards him.
"Did you just fangirled over him?" Spidey asks, looking at both of them, widely opening his eyes as a thought lurks into his mind "Are you two onto something?"
"Peter! Come on!" Teresa exclaims, starting to feel a bit embarrassed of her brother's reaction.
"But you two just met each other!" Spidey is the one who exclaims now, pointing at both of them "Is this for real? Are you playing 'wise guy' with my sister?" he asks Nightcrawler, but before anyone can speak, Iceman makes an Ice barrier between Kurt, Teresa and Spidey "Hey! Bobby? Don't do this!"
"You just need to chill, Pete" Iceman tells him, signaling Nightcrawler to escape the place with Teresa, prompting the agent to take his hand and leave the place, laughing at Spidey's expense.
"Seriously? Ice puns too, Bobby!? Drop this thing right now!" Spidey complains, but Iceman simply laughs it off.
"Hey Kitty! Come and calm your boyfriend, wouldja?" Iceman calls out Kitty, laughing as he leaves the place.
"No, hey, come back here Bobby! Break this thing! Hey! I know you're hearing me!" Spidey complains but then he is yanked off by Kitty, grabbing his arm to pull him away from the ice barrier so she can calm him down.
"Relax, they're both adults and they can handle it" Kitty laughs "Let's just relax and let the rest of the day end" she tells him, bringing him to the outside so they could take a breath of fresh air and at least spend the rest of the trip together before they have that long overdue talk.
THE NEXT DAY AT TRIBECA
Once the whole ordeal at Madripoor ended, they returned to New York safely, but chose to leave their talk for the next day. They both chose to spend the early hours on their own things and patrolling separately so they could clear their heads before their talk. Peter spent his day at E.S.U. ad stopping a few muggers while Kitty spent her day with her Kendo classes at the F.E.A.S.T. Center and stopping a hostage situation.
With the day clear, Peter returned to Kitty and Teresa's apartment, already finding her sitting on the couch and still wearing her Shadowcat suit, as if she was already waiting for him while a fully recovered Lockheed rests on her shoulders. He thinks she is mad at him for being late but he knows that she is starting to get used to being the first to 'show up' in every gathering they have since as he once recalled: 'Tardiness is a common standard in everything involving his life'.
"Hey you" Spidey greets her as he enters through the window ad takes off his mask, but Lockheed stands and growls at him, startling him a little bit "WHOA! Hey, relax Spyro!" he tries to calm down the dragon but Kitty is the one who does it.
"Easy Lock, I can handle this…go to the room, please" Kitty calmly talks to her companion who puffs a cloud of smoke from his mouth and then leaves the room.
"I still think he hates me" Peter comments, trying to break the ice, and to his surprise she laughs a bit.
"He's just protecting me, you know it" Kitty replies, looking back at him "Come…is time" she invites him to sit on her side so they can have their overdue talk. He walks inside, keeping his eyes locked on her while he sits on her right side, taking a deep breath to start talking.
"Yes, this was long overdue, and to be honest…saying 'I'm sorry' won't be enough for what I put you through" Peter calmly speaks, gently holding his girlfriend's hand.
"It was…very uncomfortable for me" Kitty replies "Not so much finding out about more exes, but discovering other relationships that involved you, the situation with Silk, well, that was different, she explained it well and it was decided by the both of you, that was smart" she explains her perspective from Peter's 'sort-of relationship' he had with Silk, but she understands that it should not even be considered one in the first place "But then…then came the Black Rat" she tries to hold her anger at just remembering dealing with Black Cat.
"Yeah, Felicia tends to do that with everyone she meets" Spidey replies, but he received a glare from Kitty as response "Sorry…please, go on".
"She acted so possessive towards you, even knowing that you're in a relationship she still feels like she owns you, and I know you put some boundaries, but still…her insistence feels very, very uncomfortable to me" Kitty explains now her perspective about Felicia "You probably saw how that turned out" she points out the detail of Felicia's broken nose.
"Yup, and knowing her, she had it coming" Peter replies "And I understand why you felt that way because I failed in that part, I wasn't honest with you about my entire past love life" he starts to argue his own brand of apology "I failed at that, and that's why I'll work on make it up to you Kitty"
"I know you will, yet you shouldn't be that hard on yourself, after all…you also dealt with my exes, including Wisdom" Kitty comments, even mentioning Wisdom's name with annoyance as that was one of her worst relationships "Heard you broke his jaw…" she jokingly mentions that detail.
"He deserved it" Peter quickly replies "But back to what's truly important…" he then holds Kitty's hand "I won't make the mistake of taking you for granted, because you really, and I do mean really, are very important to me" he looks at her eyes while he keeps apologizing "I failed at this, but I will make it up to you, and I know the right way to do so…"
"How will that be?" Kitty asks with genuine curiosity.
"Remember the times we had those long chats at the F.E.A.S.T. Center? Back when you arrived?" Peter asks her, remembering how they both spent days and night simply talking as a way to alleviate Kitty's sorrow and inner pain for what she went through the day she left Krakoa.
"Yeah…I do…" Kitty replies, smiling at him as she also starts to remember those days "That's how we started to get to know each other"
"I'm bringing back those days" Peter replies with determination on his voice "No matter how tired I feel, no matter how hard is the topic, past relationships, past battles, things from my life, I want you to know everything about me, you ask and I will answer" he tells her, smiling back at his girlfriend who looks at him with bright eyes.
"You'd do that for me?" Kitty asks, to which Peter nods in response.
"Whatever you want to talk, I'll listen, and whatever you want me to talk, I'll say it, because…even though there'd still be more surprises, I want you to be ready for everything that represents my crazy life, and I'm willing to do that for you" Peter replies smiling at her "That's just the first step to show you how important you really are to me, Kitty Pryde" he concludes, to which Kitty extends her hand to caress his face.
"And you are very important to me Peter, but I know you'll make it up and this…is a very good start" she smiles at him, coming closer to give him a loving kiss on his lips.
"So…you're not mad at me anymore?" Peter shyly asks, to which Kitty giggles in response.
"It's impossible for me to stay mad at you…just as it's impossible for me to stop falling in love with you" Kitty whispers, looking at his eyes as she starts kissing him again "I love you"
"I love you too" Peter replies, kissing her back, smiling after he proved her how willing he is to make it up to her "By the way, where's Teresa?"
"She's out on a mission in Europe, she'll be out for a month actually" Kitty replies, and right then is when an idea starts to poke in her mind "You know…this may sound crazy but I know how we're gonna truly spend those days talking"
"Really? How?" Peter asks her with curiosity, keeping his eyes on her.
"Since Teresa's gonna be out, I'll be alone here…" she starts to answer, rubbing the back of his hand with her thumb "So, how about if you spend those days here?" she asks him, leaving him surprised about that "I mean, you could take a break from the boys and spend more time together so we could indeed have those talks" she points out that detail.
"WOW, I just…" Peter is left stunned at that proposition "Don't get me wrong, I do love the idea but…don't you think it's too soon to g through the 'living together' phase of our relationship?" he asks her, yet Kitty remains serious in her plan.

They just went not only through a deadly journey full of death traps and puzzles, but they also went through a rough patch in their relationship, but in both sides they emerged triumphant, stronger and wiser than before, ready for whatever comes next, for they will make it through…

I wanted to explore the drama of their relationship with a topic that is always challenging: Past Relationships, hence why I wanted them to interact with their respective past paramours, and I was amazed at how you liked the reactions and interactions. Not to mention the new blossoming romance between Teresa and Nightcrawler (I thought of Bishop at first, but I decided that Kurt would be better at romancing her, and his swashbuckling nature would be a good compliment to her adventurous side).
I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing this story, and don't worry, there's still a LOT MORE of Spidey/Kitty stories to come in the future!
