Midoriya sighed quietly as he made his way to the training grounds, his gaze focusing more on the ground than anything around him as he started to lose himself in his thoughts. Bakugou didn't really say much to him, but with the simple push spoke a lot on how annoyed he was with him. Not that it was surprising to him at this point, but he always wondered why he was hated so much by him. All he ever did was look up to him since they were kids, although, he can admit he did get his quirk unfairly. That's the only thing he would agree he should be mad about, then again, it's not like he stole it to try to reach his dream in becoming the best hero.

Dream...?

Was this truly his dream? Was it all worth it in the end? Was HE worth obtaining One For All? Did All Might only pity him for not having a quirk? Was everyone in his class only worried about him out of pity?

Midoriya clutched his chest tightly with his hand, not realizing he was shaking and had tears running down his cheeks before he slowly fell to the floor. His heart was beating so quickly he couldn't even realize he was having a panic attack and started to curl himself up while gripping onto his hair, pulling at it a bit. Could life really be that cruel and have all those fears be true? Was he really not worth anything? The doubts continued to pour in, eyes widening in fear and sadness as he stared aimlessly at the ground, noticing droplets of his own tears stain the floor below him. Being lost in his own self-doubts, he quickly yelped in surprise when he felt two arms wrap around him and pull him close against someone's chest. Fear sparked wildly before he quickly calmed down when he realized who was the one who was holding him so gently and so...lovingly?

"Midoriya, just breathe in and out..don't worry, I'm here. I'm not going to leave you." Midoriya tried to bite back his sobs as more tears started to fall down his cheeks before wrapping his arms around him and gripped onto Todoroki's hero costume from the back. He desperately tried to calm himself by listening to what he told him to do, letting out a few choked sobs in the process before he finally managed to calm his shaking. His tears also stopped but he couldn't control how a few more ran down and stained onto the others' hero costume.

"A-at this point I need to pay you for ruining your clothes so much..." Midoriya finally spoke out, his voice slightly hoarse from all the crying. Todoroki chuckled and slowly pulled away to be able to look at him, but noticed how he was trying to look to the side to avoid looking at him.

"Again, you worry too much about something that'll dry in no time. Besides, that is not what we should be worrying about. Are you ok? Do you need me to take you to Recovery Girl or even your house?" He asked him while gently making him look at him by grabbing his chin to have him face forward.

"I-I'm fine. I can handle it..." Midroiya told him, feeling his face heat up as he saw the small smile on the other's lips.

"Try your best to not get too close to Bakugou until All Might gives us the 'ok' to go to get you out of here," Todoroki told him as he helped him stand back up, somehow ending up holding his hands when they both unwrapped their arms from each other. Midoriya only nodded and blushed more, looking at the ground and at their feet.

"Midoriya." the smaller looked up, feeling confused at what he was going to say before stumbling back a bit as he felt Todoroki kiss him suddenly. His mind started to spin and make him dizzy while his face was now bright red as he shyly kissed him back. Todoroki had to fight the urge to make the kiss go further like it was in the changing room before he slowly pulled away.

"Let's get going before the others start coming down," he spoke softly, their lips only barely touching still as Midoriya nodded while keeping his eyes closed tightly. Todoroki smirked faintly before he held his hand and interlocked their fingers and started to lead him to where All Might was waiting for the class. All Might was patiently waiting for his students to arrive for their training and quickly noticed the two walking closer, making him raise his arm up, almost like a salute.

"Young Midoriya and Todoroki! I'm glad to see you both-oh my." All Might interrupted himself upon noticing the two of them holding hands and staying close to each other. Or more like, Todoroki keeping him close in a very protective manner while Midoriya only seemed embarrassed and thankfully didn't seem at all uncomfortable.

"I see you're both getting along well~" he seemed to chime out, causing Todoroki to slightly blush but hummed faintly in response while Midoriya whined quietly and tried to hide behind Todoroki, not letting go of his hand at all.

"I won't pry~...for now...ANYWAY, young Midoriya, I want you to focus mainly on the training that your class is going to be focusing on. To give you some sort of training yourself on what you are expected to do once you're able to participate." All Might informed him, after he teased the both of them, not wanting to push them on telling him anything that they weren't ready to share.

"O-of course! I'll make sure to pay close attention!" Midoriya quickly responded with determination in his voice before he jumped when he heard his classmates call out to them, making him instantly let go of Todoroki's hand, not noticing the small frown he made from the loss.

"Stick with me at all times unless I instruct you to stand somewhere else." All Might told Midoriya while patting his shoulder gently, not wanting to hurt him again as he did earlier as he looked up at him, earning a nod and a small smile before he directed his attention back at the class once Todoroki went to the group.

"Now! Let us begin!"

The rest of the day went surprisingly well, minus the few insults Bakugou managed to give Midoriya when he noticed he was taking notes of him, rather everyone, during training. Todoroki had barely managed to keep his self control the entire time he was acting this way towards him but was thankful that Kirishima continued to distract him with the help of Kaminari as they both bugged him with taunts. This quickly ended with them getting chased by a furious Bakugou, but neither of them took it to heart as they ran away laughing at his reaction. Midoriya was currently sitting in the changing room, having thanked Sato for returning the stained blazer he accidentally dropped on the floor during the kissing session he had with Todoroki, trying his best to shake away the image as a blush formed on his cheeks at the thought and feeling. Since training had lasted longer than expected, it was already the end of school, Midoriya had told Todoroki to take his time, not being in any rush to head home. He sat there patiently, staring at his blazer while running his fingers on the, now dried up, bloodstains on the sleeves.

'I need to be more careful...if people find out about this...if Todoroki finds out about this, then he will surely hate me...' he thought to himself, clenching the hold on his blazer before letting out a quiet sigh. As he tried to keep his mind off all the bad scenarios on what could happen, he didn't hear Todoroki walk over to him and gently placed a hand on his head, ruffling his hair while he let out a faint yelp in surprise.

"T-Todoroki?" he called out while turning his head and looked up at him, blushing when he saw a small smile on his face and instantly stood up, holding his blazer close to his chest.

"We should start heading out before it gets dark out. Come on." Todoroki told him before he started to lead the way out of the changing room, with Midoriya instantly following after calming himself down. The two walked through the halls and out of the school in complete silence, not uncomfortable in any way, as much as Midoriya was a blushing mess with everything that's happened between the two, he was completely relaxed as their silence was quickly filled with the noises of cars and people in the streets. The sun was slowly starting to set, but neither of the two seemed to mind it as they enjoyed the pleasant walk close together.

"Y-You know I can head the rest of the way back to my house, so you don't have to worry about heading home much later if you come with me." Midoriya suddenly broke the silence, looking over at him with a shy smile. Todoroki looked over at him and was about to protest before stopping as he felt his phone vibrate in his pants pockets. Letting out an annoyed sigh, he grabbed his phone and checked the few messages he received once school ended.

"As much as I don't want you to go alone, I would have to agree. My old man wants me home right now for some training. You better get some rest once you get home. The more you rest, the faster your recovery." Todoroki told him, basically scolding him, which earned him a small whine from him in return.

"I'll be fine, I've had worse injuries," he grumbled out with a small pout, crossing his arms a bit as he was still holding his blazer close.

"Exactly my point."

"Todoroki, I'll be fine, I pro-" Midoriya started but was instantly cut off as he felt Todoroki's lips against his own. His face instantly turned a faint shade of red once he pulled away and looked at him, their faces still inches apart, and heart skipping a beat once more as he tried not to get lost looking at his eyes.

"Be careful getting home. I'll pick you up in the morning." Todoroki said, giving him another small smile before leaning away from him, walking off to the other direction towards his own home. Midoriya couldn't help but watch as he walked away, slowly bringing his fingers to gently touch his lips. He couldn't understand why Todoroki could have any kind of feelings towards someone like him, he's so gentle, caring, and patient with him. His face instantly started to heat up again, not used to someone giving him this kind of attention in a long time. A small smile slowly managed to form on his face as he looked at the direction Todoroki had left, his blush seeming more soft than intense like it was a moment ago from the sudden kiss. He could feel butterflies in his stomach just remembering how gentle he was and before he realized it, he had been standing there for a good few minutes - just being completely in awe.

...Love?...
