Previously on Gundam Build Divers Re-Rise Origin
"why..why her?...why does she have to suffer again?" Hiroto cried out in tears as he started crying non-stop. Freddie looks worried for Hiroto before he got close to him and hugs his back, trying his best to comfort him
A purple energy beam fired out from below as it hits the Earthree Gundam's side chest, and grazes against the backpack
BOOM!
The thrusters exploded as this cause the Earthree Gundam to fall down at high speed.
The sound of an engine failure was heard and the Earthree Gundam started to descend at high speed.
In a few moments that passed, the Earthree Gundam crashes to the ground before it made a long drag mark, the fast descent causes it to keep on going before it stops within a small lake.
A large splash came raining out as the Earthree Gundam's lower body was sunk into the water while the head remains a few inches away and was dripping with water.
Hiroto and May came out of the Gundam as the young man grabs May and swims towards the edge of the lake
Reaching the edge of the lake, Hiroto pushes May out before himself as both were dripping wet.
Hiroto huffs his breathing before he looks at May who was unconscious
His vision started to cloud as Hiroto was losing consciousness because of the accidental crash.
"Ma..y.." Hiroto muttered out before he fell to the ground beside May. His eyes slowly closing but he saw a glimpse of someone running towards the two and heard a voice calling his name but his eyes closed and his world turned dark.
Hiroto was lying on a bed as he had some bandages wrapped around his head
The young man slowly wakes up and sees that he was in a home.
"where…" Hiroto muttered out before Hulun, Towana, and Asha appeared bellow him.
"Hiroto-san!" the three furry kids exclaimed, as Hiroto's eyes widen a bit in surprise to see them.
"Hulun…Towana….Asha…" Hiroto muttered out the three's name as they smiled to him while their tails were wagging around.
Before long, Maiya with Freddie came into the room.
"Hiroto-san! You're awake!" Freddie exclaimed all happy to see Hiroto awake
"Freddie…Maiya.." Hiroto looks at the two as he tried sitting up but wince a bit.
"it'd be better if you stay down" Maiya told Hiroto "you were in a rough crash into the lake near the village. It was a good thing that me, Freddie, and the three were nearby collecting firewood for the night"
"I see…so we are in Eldora after all" Hiroto muttered out before his eyes widen when he remembered May. He sat up quickly but wince as he holds his waist as it was bandaged up. "May! Where's May!?"
"Hiroto-san please calm down! the bandages will come off!" Freddie frantically told Hiroto while Maiya holds Hiroto's shoulder and stopped him from getting up.
"May-san is alright, she's being checked up by the village's doctor right now" Maiya told Hiroto "calm down. she's alright"
Hiroto felt the adrenaline rush in him started to die down as he took a few deep breaths and exhaled
Maiya slowly and gently pushes Hiroto back to the bed as he needed lots of rest because of his injuries.
"Hiroto-san, where are Kazami-san and Par-san? And what happened to your gunpla? It's in a devastated state" Freddie asked Hiroto, the furry boy's tail wagging as it wanted to know why their friends are back so soon just after leaving for the day.
"it's…" Hiroto said before he started to explain the incidents in GBN, the attack on the GBN Base server area, the mysterious gunpla with the Alus Core Gundam variants attack, and how he and May were teleported back to Eldora. "and then…when we were flying in the air, heading to this village…something shot us down"
"something shot you down? what could've done that?" Freddie asked as he tried to think of something that might be able to attack a gunpla in the air.
"is May…is May really alright?" Hiroto asked, worried for his friend's wellbeing.
"she'll be alright, our village doctor is the best doctor in the village after all" Maiya replied with a smile "just rest up and you'll be out of bed in no time"
"alright…" Hiroto said before looking at Freddie "Freddie, can you contact Kazami and the others in GBN by the ruins? Tell them that me and May are alright and safe"
"yes! I can do that!" Freddie replied, "I'll go and do it, right now!"
Freddie ran out of the house as he was followed by Asha, Hulun, and Towana.
"we're coming too!" the three exclaimed as they run behind Freddie
"hey you three!" Maiya called out but they were already out of the door and out of the house. The catgirl sighs tiredly as it was the life she had to look after three rascals.
Hiroto smiles seeing them as it was like that after Alus was reborn in GBN and he with his team visiting Eldora daily.
"well then, just take a long rest, alright? Once you wake up, May-san will too" Maiya told Hiroto who nodded before she went out of the door and slowly closes it "get a good rest, Hiroto-san"
"yeah, thanks" Hiroto replied before Maiya closes the door and lets him be alone.
Hiroto turns on the other side to get a more comfortable position as he slowly closes his eyes and went to sleep
Hiroto finds himself in a dark place as there was nothing but darkness
"Where am I?" Hiroto asked before he hears footsteps coming from behind.
He turns around and his eyes widen as he was now in a field filled with flowers and a few feet away from him is Eve
"Hiroto!" Eve called out to Hiroto with a smile as Hiroto looks at her and slowly smiled
The scene suddenly changes into that of a wasteland as the flowers were all gone.
"what?" Hiroto looks surprised at the sudden scenery change, the flower field gone as nothing remained.
Before long, the ground started to break around Eve as it shattered before collapsing
"Hiroto!" Eve screamed out as she was falling into a pit of lava.
"Eve!" Hiroto shouted out as he runs and reaches out his right hand to Eve
His hand caught hers as Hiroto holds it tight while his left-hand holds the edge of a cliff.
"Hiroto!" Eve cried out to him as her feet were dangling down the cliff and towards the lava.
"don't worry! I got you, Eve! I won't let you go!" Hiroto exclaimed as he holds on to her hand, not ever going to let go
"Hiroto!" a voice called out as Hiroto opens his eyes and sees that the hand he was holding wasn't Eve's but May's
"M-May?" Hiroto looks in surprise as he thought he had caught Eve's hand, but it was May's
May was holding onto Hiroto who holds her hand tight and tried to pull her up.
"I got you!" Hiroto exclaimed as he tried to use all his strength to pull her up
All the sudden, the lava bellow exploded and an Alus Earthree Gundam appears out of the lava
"you couldn't save her" a computer like voice spoke as the Alus Earthree Gundam reaches out a hand and grabs May's body causing her to grunt from the sudden grab
"May!" Hiroto exclaimed as he wasn't going to let go of her
"you couldn't save her nor this one" the voice continued to spoke out as Hiroto's grip on May's hand loosens before it was broken off.
Hiroto's eyes widen, his mouth opening like it wanted to scream, his right hand reached out to May's who tried to reach back to him
"you couldn't protect them" the voice spoke as the Alus Earthree Gundam sank into the lava with May's in its grasp. "you couldn't protect the woman you loved"
"Hiroto!" May screamed out as she reaches a hand to him
"May!" Hiroto shouted out before he jumped off the cliff and reaches out his right hand to May.
Hiroto's eyes snapped open as the young man sat up so fast that his bandages wound could easily open but his sense of pain was too slow in comparison with the sense of fear from the nightmare he just had.
"Eve…May…" Hiroto muttered out while taking deep breathes, his face flushed with sweat and his eyes were wide as saucers. The young man inhales and exhales a few times as he tried to calm down his fast-beating heart as the nightmare, he just had was affecting it.
"a nightmare?" a voice spoke beside Hiroto as he blinked once and turns to see May sleeping on the bed beside him. The EL-Diver girl looking at him from her side of the bed. "did you have a nightmare?"
"May…" Hiroto muttered out seeing her looking fine except for the purple veins that were around her neck. "you.."
"Maiya said that we had to share this bed together because of how this house is the only one that has a spare bed and it's large so it's fine if we share it, right?" May stated to Hiroto, thinking that he wanted to know why she was sleeping with him on the same bed, but it wasn't what he was thinking at all.
"no, not that it's just…" Hiroto said looking away while having a small blush on his face as this was the first time he was sleeping on a bed with a girl beside him cause in Japan's law it states that boys and girls of the same age should not share a room or even a bed but in this situation, Hiroto thinks that it is a different matter.
"does having me sharing the bed with you give you trouble?" May asked as Hiroto looks back at her "does it?"
"no…I was just surprised to see you there" Hiroto replied calmly to her
"I see" May said as she looks at Hiroto "you never answered my previous question"
"what?" Hiroto asked while raising his eyebrows
"did you have a nightmare?" May said repeating her previous question
"y-yeah….i did.." Hiroto replied a bit stuttering as May looks at him
"did it have me and Eve in it?" May asked as Hiroto's eyes widen a bit "it did, didn't it? care to tell why?"
"it's…" Hiroto muttered out as he felt his heart-tugging inside him "it's…complicated.."
May looks at Hiroto as she could tell that he didn't want to speak about it anymore, so she turns to the other side and closes her eyes to go to sleep.
Hiroto looks at May as she was going to sleep after the conversation was ended.
He frowns a bit before he laid back down, his back was facing against May's. both didn't speak a single word as it was silent after that.
Hiroto closes his eyes as he tried his best to go to sleep even with someone sleeping beside him.
a few hours later, it was night-time outside as the sounds of crickets could be heard
May opens her eyes as she could feel shivering on the bed. She slightly turns around and sees that Hiroto was shivering in his sleep, his face seems conflicted against another nightmare in his mind.
Looking at Hiroto, May could feel just how much pain he is facing in his nightmare.
"When a boy is having the case of the nightmares! You hug him and hold him tight~! Real tight~!" Magee's words rang out in her mind as it was one of her/ his important lessons about boys and life. So May decided to do what Magee told her before.
May gently turns Hiroto to the other side as he was still in his nightmare even after his body was moved.
Placing her arms around Hiroto's neck and waist, May pulls his head to her chest and holds him close.
She holds him really close and really tight just like Magee taught her but it seems to only be working at 50%, Hiroto's face twitching a bit from having his nightmares.
"if he still has the nightmares even in the hug! Give him a kiss on the forehead and rubs his head, and back while whispering to him that 'it's okay... I'm here' over and over till he calms down, okay~?" another Magee lesson rang out in May's head as she did the action just like she was told to do.
May pecks Hiroto's forehead before her hands started caressing his head and back gently while whispering the words "it's okay…I'm here"
She whispered the words to him over and over while her hands were caressing his head and back repeatedly.
In a few seconds that passed, her actions did the trick as Hiroto's face slowly turns peaceful, the nightmare he was facing now gone.
May watches him sleep so peacefully before she holds him close and slowly went to sleep with him.
The night was quiet and peaceful, the crickets were singing in the night while the two Divers sleep peacefully in the house together.
