Now that David and Valerie have joined the team, the rangers are stronger and Scarlie will have more of a challenge. Valerie is a little anxious about being a ranger, but David loved it. David walked on over in the Youth Center and spotted Joey and Travis as they were doing some work.

"Hey! How's it going?" David said.

"Hey, David. What's up?" Travis said. David made sure that no one was listening.

"You mean other than the fact that we're rangers. I love it." David said.

"Easy, David." Joey said.

"Being a ranger might seem exciting, but it's a big responsibility." Travis said. "Don't take it for granted."

"I get it, but I just can't help it. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a ranger." David said. "I was planning to go down by the beach for a little workout, maybe keep an eye open for trouble. You guys want to come?"

"Sorry, but we've got school work to do." Travis said.

"Looks like you're on your own." Joey said.

"Fine with me." David said as he was on his way out.

"I'm a little concerned about David. Do you think he's taking his position as a ranger for granted?" Travis said.

"He's just excited." Joey said. "I'm sure he'll be fine." Travis thought that Joey was probably right, but David's excitement could cause some problems.

...

Scarlie's Palace

"I can't believe this! Five rangers were hard enough to deal with, but now we've got to deal with seven?!" Scarlie complained. "I better find me a monster that will eliminate them!" She looked through her book to try and find something that could take them.

"It doesn't how many of them there are." Zabaro said. "We will find some way. The rangers aren't invincible. There must be some way for us to defeat them."

"I think I see an opportunity." Vyla said as she looked through the telescope. "It would seem that the new ranger is on his own down by the beach. Perhaps we should strike while he's alone."

"At the beach? Close to water? I think I have a monster that can take him there." Scarlie said as she turned to him. "That ranger will be swimming with the fishes."

...

The Beach

David ran down to the beach and managed to get an exercise in. He stood by the water and took in the fresh air that surrounded him. David enjoyed this, but he enjoyed the fact that he was a ranger even more. He made sure no one was watching and pulled out his morpher.

"This has got to be so cool." David said. David loved being a ranger, maybe a little too much. Just as David put his morpher away, he spotted something in the water. It looked like a shark fin. "Yikes. A shark. Good thing no one is in the water." He kept his eyes on the fin and saw it was moving closer and closer to land and was moving fast. "What's it doing?" David thought it was just a normal shark, but he saw something jump out of the water and kicked him down.

"Surprise!" David looked and saw it was a gray monster with the head, tail, and fin of a hammerhead shark. Most would have been startled or such, but David was actually excited.

"Sweet. A monster. Time for some action." David said as he managed to get back up.

"Sweet? You won't think it's so sweet when I crush you, ranger. I am Sharmer, the shark that will drag you to the deep."

"We'll see about that." David said. "It's morphin time!"

"White Spinosaur!" David morphed and got himself ready for a fight. He jumped in the air and tried to attack him, but Sharmer grabbed David just as he was about to land and tossed him back into the sand.

"Is that really all you got?" Sharmer said as he went to attack him again. He pulled David back up and smashed his arm against him, but David managed to break free and kicked him back.

"I'm a lot tougher than you think." David said.

"So can you take this?!" Sharmer said as he formed a spear out of energy. He tossed it at David and it hit him hard with an explosion going off. David could be in real trouble. "Once I'm done with you, the other rangers are next."

"Not going to happen. I can beat you myself." David said as he got back up and kept the fight going, but he's making a mistake.

...

The Command Center

"Gamma, I'm picking up some sort of disturbance." Zultro said as he and Gamma were alerted that there was danger.

"Right, Zultro. I'm bringing it up on the monitor now." Gamma said. He was able to bring it up and they were able to see David fighting Sharmer alone. "It's David! He's in real trouble!"

"He's fighting one of Scarlie's monsters alone? Contact the other rangers at once." Zultro said.

...

The Youth Center

Travis and Joey finished up their work. Just when they did, their communicators went off and they made sure no one was watching.

"Yeah, Zultro?" Travis said.

"David is in trouble. There's a monster down by the beach and he's fighting it alone." Zultro said.

"Why didn't he contact us for help?" Joey said.

"I'm not sure, but we better get going." Travis said. They gathered their stuff together and hurried. Just as they were about to leave, the others showed up. "Great timing, guys.

"What's going on?" Abby asked.

"Something wrong?" Robby said.

"We just got a call from Zultro. There's a monster at the beach and David is fighting it alone." Travis said.

"Oh no." Valerie said.

"We better get going." Sierra said as the six of them hurried out. They were planning to teleport outside, but as soon as they got out there, Zabaro showed himself with a team of golems.

"Going somewhere?" Zabaro said.

"Out of the way, Zabaro!" Travis said.

"I don't think so. White Ranger has his hands full and so do you!" Zabaro said as he had the golems attack. Now that they're occupied, how can they get to David?

...

David

David was having trouble against Sharmer. He was fighting as best as he could, but Sharmer was stronger than he thought. Sharmer gave David a powerful kick and knocked him down. David tried getting back up, but it was tough.

"Don't tell me you're done. This shark likes to play with his prey." Sharmer said.

"I'm not beaten yet." David said as he tried to stand.

"I think it's time we went for a little swim." Sharmer said as he rushed at David and grabbed a hold of him. He pushed David into the water and now he's in Sharmer's territory. David was pulled under the water and could tell he was in trouble now. He was a sitting duck as Sharmer swam with incredible speed and kept smashing against him. Without the others to help him, David is in real trouble.

...

The Command Center

"Aye! Not good!" Gamma said as they watched the fight unfold. "David is in real trouble and the other rangers can't get to him."

"Teleport all of them here so they can regroup." Zultro said. Gamma got to work and hoped that he won't be too late to save David.

...

The Rangers

While David was struggling, the other rangers were doing their best to get past Zabaro and the golems. They able to fight them off, but they won't let them through. Joey kicked one back and Sierra tossed one against the wall. Abby flipped one against the ground and Robby kicked one into a bush. The others were fighting well, but Valerie was struggling. She ran for a tree and pulled a branch back so she could release it and have it smack against a golem.

"This isn't good." Valerie said. One came up behind her and grabbed her as she was tossed to the ground. Travis was fighting off Zabaro as Zabaro kept swinging his sword at him. Travis kicked his sword out of the way and kicked him back.

"Had enough, Zabaro?" Travis said.

"I think I bought enough time. Your friend is finished just like the rest of you will be." Zabaro said as he and the golems retreated. Joey rushed over and help Valerie get back up.

"You okay?" Joey said.

"Yeah, but I'm more worried about my brother." Valerie said. Before they could do anything, the six of them were teleported out of there.

...

The Command Center

The six of them were teleported back to their base and were faced with Zultro and Gamma.

"What are we doing here? We need to get to the beach and help my brother." Valerie said.

"He's coming in now." Gamma said. They watched as David teleported right in as he crashed against the ground and was surprised.

"Thanks for the save. I thought I was going to be shark bait." Davis said as Robby helped him back up. "That was one gnarly shark."

"David, why didn't you contact the other rangers for help?" Zultro asked. "Why did you try to take on that monster by yourself?"

"Because I was right there." David said. "I thought I could take him on. He wanted a fight and I gave him one, at least I tried to."

"David, I was trying to tell you earlier." Travis said. "You were too excited about being a ranger that you didn't think this through. If you would have contacted us from the start, things would have went different and you wouldn't have gotten thrashed around."

"But we're rangers. Aren't we suppose to take on a fight?" David said.

"David, I understand that you're excited about being a ranger, but it's not suppose to be fun and games." Zultro said. "Being a ranger comes with a great responsibility and that includes knowing when you're outmatched and knowing when to ask for help."

"He's right. One ranger alone can't fight every battle." Travis said. "We're a team and that means we work together, we're there for each other." The others were in agreement to what Travis and Zultro were saying. David was beginning to see how foolish he's been acting.

"I guess I still have a lot to learn about being a ranger. I just got so excited and wasn't thinking." David said.

"Don't sweat it. We all make mistakes." Robby said.

"What's important is that you see it and now we can work together to beat this monster." Abby said.

"You better hurry. That shark is heading towards Angel Grove." Gamma said.

"It's morphin time!" Travis said.

"White Spinosaur!"

"Green Plesiosaur!"

"Black Ankylosaur!"

"Pink Pterodactyl!"

"Blue Triceratops!"

"Yellow Ankylosaur!"

"Red Tyrannosaurus!"

...

Sharmer

Sharmer was making his way to Angel Grove to cause destruction. Before he had the chance to, the rangers arrived and they all kicked him back and kept him from going anywhere.

"Going somewhere?" David said.

"Didn't you learn your lesson the last time?" Sharmer said. All of them got ready and kept their guards up with him.

"Careful, guys. This one is a tough." David said.

"Just stick together. He can't take on all of us." Travis said.

"You think so? Think again!" Sharmer said as he formed an energy spear and tossed it at them. All of them jumped out of the way of his attack and went to attack him. They all tried to fight him off, but he was able to keep them all at back. He smashed his arms and legs against them and broke free from them when he had them surrounded. "You got nothing on me."

"I wouldn't be so sure." David said. "Val, use your flute to keep him distracted. I'll hold him down. The rest of you get your weapons ready to finish him."

"Are you sure about that?" Abby asked.

"Teamwork, right?" David said.

"Yeah. Let's do it." Valerie said as she pulled out her flute. She played the flute and the music coming from it was painful to Sharmer.

"What is that?! My brain is rattling!" Sharmer said with him in pain.

"I'm going for it!" David said as he rushed right at Sharmer. He pulled out his blade and slashed it against Sharmer and was able to grab a hold of him. "Now guys!"

"Right! Let's go, guys!" Travis said. The five of them pulled out their weapons and was able to put them together.

"Neo Power Blaster!"

"Adios, you overgrown piece of sushi." David said as he pushed Sharmer in the line of fire.

"Fire!" They fired their blaster and Sharmer got hit by it as he ended up getting destroyed. Scarlie wasn't done with them yet.

"Grow, my monster! Grow!" Scarlie cast her magic down to Earth and brought back Sharmer as a giant.

"I'm guessing we need teamwork for this too?" David questioned.

"Yeah. Both our megazords together." Travis said.

"Good. We need the Neo Zords! Now!" David called. All seven zords were called and came at him together. When all seven of them got in their zords, the seven of them formed their two megazords together.

"Now you're dealing with a mega shark!" Sharmer said as he went at the two of them as he smashed his arm against one and kicked the other. He kept smashing his limbs against them, but the Grand Megazord grabbed him and tossed him back.

"Try this!" David said as they launched the blade on their back and it slashed against him. The Neo Megazord pulled out their sword and slashed it against Sharmer. They gave him one powerful slash and caused him to roll against the ground.

"I'm still here." Sharmer said as he got back up.

"Not for long. You're finished!" Travis said. They built power in their sword and slashed down with Sharmer taking some damage. David and Valerie got in on this as they powered the cannons and fired. Sharmer got hit by the blasts and ended up being destroyed. Another win for the rangers for working together.

...

The Youth Center

Now that they won another battle, the rangers took the opportunity to head to the Youth Center and enjoy themselves.

"Chalk up another win for the good guys." Robby said.

"I never did like sharks. I'm glad we took care of that one." Valerie said.

"Yeah... Guys, listen. I'm sorry for how I've acted." David said. "Being a ranger is amazing, it's the best thing that's ever happened to me, but I now see it's a bigger deal than that. I thought I understood that before, but I do now."

"It's okay, David." Travis said. "We all make mistakes, but that's why you have friends that are willing to help you."

"We all were amazed with becoming rangers." Sierra said. "It's better that you understand that now."

"As long as we stick together, we can take on anything." Travis said with all of them feeling the same.

"Meal time!" Joey said as he walked over with some food. "I got some nice fish sticks as appetizers."

"No! No more fish!" David said. The other rangers laughed at this, but now it seems like they got to help David again to deal with more fish.
