Hey guys, I'm back with another chapter! I'd like to thank all of you for following and reviewing this story. I really appreciate the motivation. This chapter re-introduces some new characters right off the bat, and I was excite to add them! I'm aware that this is probably not as well written as I would like it to be, but I hurt my neck this morning and it's hard to focus. I know, that's not an excuse :-)
0331Tilly: Thank you for your support! I'm glad to know that you enjoy the story.
Koali29: I'm glad that you like it! I am also exited to see where it goes.
Konoewpl: Your review was amazing and just what I needed! I agree with your opinion on the tourture, I also don't really enjoy reading it and I would probably stink at writing it. See you soon!
The next morning, the team was enjoying the breakfast that Bruce had picked up. Everyone was in a good mood, especially when Scott and Clint stopped by with fun stories. Clint's daughter was going on her first date, and Scott daughter was graduating high school!
While they were eating, Steve grabbed a plate and filled it up with eggs and bacon. When Clint asked how he could be so hungry, Steve laughed and looked down at his own empty plate. "No, this is for Tony. I think he's still in Peter's room. Poor kid remembered some things about Germany last night, but it really tuckered him out."
Scott was confused. "Peter Quill? I didn't know the guardians were here."
"Yeah, and why would he remember Germany? He wasn't there." Clint added.
Natasha and Steve looked at each other and realized their mistake. In their haste to help Peter be comfortable, they had forgotten to tell the dads about said teenager being alive.
"You didn't tell them?" Wanda scoffed.
"Tell them what?" Scott questioned.
There was a small moment of silence.
"Oh, screw it," Sam said. "Peter Parker. We found him alive a couple of days ago when raiding a HYDRA facility."
"Surprise!" Wanda shouted awkwardly.

Tony was woken up by shouting. Lots of shouting. 2 men came bursting into the room, followed by a exhausted Bruce. Scott and Clint instantly ran over to Tony.
"How could you not tell us?"
"I can't believe he's alive!"
"Will he be okay?"
Tony looked at Bruce questionly.
"I tried to stop them." The scientist shrugged.
All that yelling must have been too loud, because they woke up Peter. The spider yelped in surprise and tried to scramble out of bed before being comforted by Tony. "It's okay, kid. They're with us. They just get a little excited sometimes."
The two newcomers instantly shut up and Bruce led them out of the room. Peter relaxed and Tony sat at the foot of his bed. "Sorry about that. How did you sleep?"
Peter shrugged. "Good, I guess. The bed I used to have was really hard and it didn't have a pillow, but I never complained. I also had a really weird dream."
"What was it about?"
"I was wearing a red onsie type thing, and I was trying to pull two parts of a ship together. Then I was underneath a bunch of cement and I couldn't breathe. Then I was talking with a girl with antennas and a purple guy with red scars. Also, I had extra legs. Then suddenly, I was carrying a glove and running through a mine field. "
Tony smiled. That wasn't a dream at all, but more memories. More flashbacks flashed through his mind.
Next up, on Peter screws the pooch.
But I just wanted to be like you!
And I wanted you to be better.
Yeah, speaking of loyalty…
I'm backup.
No, you're a stowaway. The adults are talking.
Mr. Stark? I don't feel so good.
I don't wanna go, please sir, I don't wanna go.
I'm sorry.
Mr. Stark? Holy Cow! You will not believe what's been going on. Do you remember when we were in space, and I got all dusty? Well, I must have passed out, because I woke up and you were gone. But Doctor Strange was there, right? And he was like "c'mon, it's been five years, They need us!" Then he started doing that weird sparkly thing he does with his hands- What are you doing?
Oh, This is nice.
This is nice.
"What's nice?" Peter asked.
Crap, Tony must have said that out loud.
"Nothing, kid. I just like talking to you," Tony smiled.
Peter smiled back. "Yeah, you're fun to talk to too, sir."
"Please kid, call me Mr. Stark."

Over the next week, things got better. Peter became more comfortable with the team, and he remembered more events of his past. One night, he woke up in a cold sweat, talking about a radioactive spider that bit him. That was the night that he re-learned the concept of Spiderman. He also remembered that he was a student at Midtown school of Science and Technology and that he loved Star Wars. But the only things that still failed to present themselves were Peter's memories about people, the team and himself.
Well, until about a week and a half after he first arrived. Peter was able to leave the hospital, and was chilling on the couch when Tony and Steve returned from sparring practice.
"Hey!" Tony greeted him and sat down next to him. He still smiled when Peter didn't flinch as the man got closer. Peter waved as the Captain America occupied the other seat. "Hey, Steve."
It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.
"What did you say?" Tony stuttered.
"I said hi to Steve," Peter whispered, worried that he had done something wrong.
"So you remember him?"
"Yeah, he's Steve Rodgers. He's really old and he carries a shield."
Tony and Steve gawked at the boy. It was only after Tony started to cry that Peter realized his good fortune.
"I remember Steve!" The boy shouted with joy. "And there's others, like Natasha and Clint and Scott and Bucky and Bruce and Sam and Wanda and Rhodey! I remember them! Holy crap!"
The 3 jumped up and down like little kids until Peter stopped abruptly.
"And you. Mr. Stark. I remember you."
Tony's smile could light up the whole world if it was watching.

The elevator dinged as Wanda, Bucky, and Rhodey stepped into the common room. After a long day stopping a ginormous fire monster which was a member of "the elementals", the superheroes were grateful to have a night of relaxing. The trio were happy to see Peter, Steve and Tony sitting at the kitchen table, having a good laugh. Peter even seemed to be having a good time.
"Hey Tones, Steve," Rhodey greeted them. "What's up, bud?" He asked, pointing to Peter. The kid smiled. "Hi Rhodey!"
Wanda gasped. "You remember! That's great!"
Peter nodded. "Yeah! And you're Wanda, and that's Bucky."
"He wanted to surprise you," Tony explained, beaming at his kid.
"Well, surprise indeed!" Bucky laughed as the newcomers sat down. He was happy to see Peter remember, and it reminded him of the first time he saw
Steve after almost 70 years.
Okay, I almost have him. I still don't know why he looks so familiar.
Crap, my mask fell off! No matter, I've got him cornered.
Why did he just call me "Bucky?"
Who's Bucky?
I knew him. I know him.
Bucky was pulled out of his thoughts by Tony clearing his throat and raising his beer glass. "A toast," the billionaire shouted, "to new beginnings!"
