Hello everyone I am not in fact dead or disappeared, but school and life make writing difficult sometimes. Anyway enough talk let's get to the story. Please read and review.
Chapter 10- Rivals reunited and a jelly situation
With Natasha, Lucy, Gray, and Happy…
As the four Fairy Tail wizards stood staring at the frozen Deliora they were speculating the reason it was on Galuna Island. "Deliora" Gray said angrily. "Are you sure this is the same monster that your master sealed away?" Natasha asked. "There's no doubt about it" Gray responded. "I wonder why it was transported all the way from the Northern continent to Galuna Island" Happy wonders aloud. "You don't think this demon could have something to do with the island's curse do you?" Lucy questions. "I wouldn't be surprised if it did it may be enclosed in ice but that thing is still alive" Gray explains.
Natasha then walks up beside him and says "Then I'll just burn the thing." Gray then looks at Natasha and punches her in the face knocking her to the ground. Natasha then gets up holding the side of her head and yells "What's your deal!? What did you hit more Gray!?" Gray then glares at Natasha and says "I don't want you or your flames anywhere near it. If that ice melts and Deliora is revived there's no way we would be able to stop it." Natasha gets to her feet and says "Do you really think a chunk of ice that big would be easy to melt even with my fire I couldn't do it quickly." Lucy then walks up to Gray and asks if he's okay to which Gray replies with "Many years ago my master Ur cast a spell called Ice Shell on this demon enclosing it in a form of ice that can't be melted it's so strong that even the strongest of flame spells would have almost no effect on it.
If they knew that the ice couldn't be melted then why did they bring it here ?" "Maybe they didn't know, maybe they brought it here to try and melt it somehow" Lucy says. "But why would they do that!?" Gray shouts at Lucy causing her to shrink back in fear. "I just don't get it, who would bring Deliora here, and more importantly why!?" Gray says angrily. "We need answers. Let's go find those guys" Natasha says seriously. "No! We're gonna stay here and wait" Gray says. "Wait for what?" Happy asks. "For the moon to come out," Gray says. "The moon huh, you do realize it is the middle of the afternoon right?" Natasha questions. "I know that but I have a feeling that the curse on this island and Deliora are connected to it, and I heard those guys we saw earlier say something about collecting moonlight" Gray explains. "Well if we're waiting here till night I'm gonna take a nap wake me up when we can have fun again," Natasha says before laying down and falling asleep instantly.
As Natasha slept Lucy and Happy were talking about Natasha and her ease of getting to sleep while Gray sat alone and remembered Ur and how she sacrificed herself to save him. Only minutes later Lucy and Happy were complaining about how boring it was to just sit there and do nothing when Lucy suddenly got the idea to call one of her spirits "Open Gate of the Harp Constellation, Lyra!" A girl with long orange hair, a small pair of wings, a pink and blue dress, and a giant harp appear "OH WOW, I haven't seen you in forever Lucy!" Lyra shouts happily. "Hey, Lyra" "Say, how come you never call me anymore it's not fair I would love to help you out but you ignore me, meany"
"I'm a meany huh? You're the one who told me you were only available three days a month" Lucy said to Lyra. "Anyway what would you like to hear me sing, any requests?" Lyra asks. Lucy just tells Lyra to play whatever she wants and so Lyra starts playing her harp in a slow sad tune while singing. Happy and Lucy both have content smiles on their faces as they listen, even the sleeping Natasha has a content smile but as Gray listens to the song and starts to remember his time when he was being trained with Ur and he begins to cry.
Lyra stops her playing and singing when she hears Gray crying to which Lucy asks if Gray is okay, and Gray responds in a shaky tone "Nothing I'm fine." "You seem upset" Happy says. "Well, one of Lyra's talents is singing songs that relate to her audiences feeling" Lucy explains. Gray denies crying and Lucy tells Lyra she should play something more upbeat but Gray reminds them that they have to stay quiet and should skip the song.
A few hours later…
Natasha, Lucy, Gray, and Happy were all sleeping when suddenly the whole cavern started to shake waking Lucy, happy, Gray, and Natasha from their slumber. The four Fairy Tail wizards then noticed a giant magic circle appear above the frozen Deliora and start to shine a light down onto it. "Come on we need to go find where the light is coming from!" Gray shouted before the four wizards ran out of the cavern and back to the upper floors. As the four reached the next floor and saw more magic circles Gray asked "Why would someone cast a magic circle in this old temple?" "I don't know but it can't be good, so let's go find out" Natasha responded. The four then ran up the stairs reaching the outside and could see a group of people chanting in a circle where the purple light was coming down between them. "What are they doing?" Natasha questions.
"It looks like those ugly freaks are casting a spell to collect the moonlight," Natasha said. "But why would they be shining it on Deliora?" Lucy asks. "It's a Belianese spell, it's called Moon Drip," Lyra says scaring the crap out of Lucy. "What are you still doing here!?" Lucy whisper screams. Lyra ignores Lucy and continues with what she was saying "I see that's what they're trying to do. They're using the Moon Drip spell to melt the ice surrounding the ice that surrounds that demon underground so they can resurrect it." "They Can't! The ice used in an Iced Shell is impossible to melt!" Gray shouts angrily. "I hate to say but that's not entirely true Moon Drip is one method and another is someone who uses fire magic that is more powerful than the mage who cast Iced Shell.
By focusing the moon's energy it is possible to break almost any magical spell" Lyra explains. "Idiots! They've never witnessed the wrath of Deliora!" Gray shouts. "I think that whatever the islanders think is a curse could actually just be a side-effect of the moon drip, concentrated moon energy can alter your body. I'm afraid those poor islanders absorbed way too much of it" Lyra says.
"I'll make them pay," Natasha says angrily. Lucy then quickly hits Natasha in the shoulder to make her be quiet and says "I hear someone coming." A man with a helmet that resembled that of a demons and a white cloak covering a blue shirt came into view while being followed by the three that they had seen before. "What a waste, I lost so much precious sleep for nothing. We searched all day for the intruders but never found a trace of them" Yuka complained. "Maybe there wasn't any!" Tobias shouted at Yuka.
"I'm afraid I have some bad news Cold Emperor, we thought we had intruders during the day but it seems they got away somehow. I can not speak highly in this situation" Sherry said to the now named Cold Emperor. "Intruders?" Cold Emperor says questioningly. "So that guy's their leader," Natasha says as Gray goes awestruck at something. "He's trying to act all high and mighty wearing that stupid looking mask," Lucy says angrily. "I don't know I think it looks kinda cool" Happy remarks. "Has Deliora been awakened yet?" Cold Emperor asks Sherry. "It should happen later tonight or early morning tomorrow…" Sherry is saying before being interrupted by Toby shouting "Which one is it girl!" "The time has almost come. If you see those intruders again kill them I don't want anybody getting in my way" Cold Emperor commands. "It must have been the villagers they're the only other people on this island, '' Sherry remarks.
Gray who was still wearing an expression of complete and under shock was barely paying attention to what they were talking about. "Then destroy the village!" Cold Emperor commands. "Yes sir" "Understood" "Rghh" Sherry, Yuka, and Toby all say together. "What!?" Natasha whisper screamed. "But the villagers didn't have anything to do with this" Lucy says. "Yeah, we've got to stop them," Natasha says angrily. "It's a shame there has to be bloodshed," Cold Emperor says. Gray who had been silent for a while finally spoke to himself and said "That voice, no it can't be." Natasha then jumped out from behind the wall they were hiding and shouted "I'm done with this sneaking around business!" Natasha then inhaled deeply before blowing a giant fireball into the air while shouting "The villagers have nothing to do with this we're the intruders you guys want!"
Cold Emperor, Sherry, Yuka, and Toby all turn and look at Natasha in shock while Natasha just smiles and chuckles to herself. "Jeez, I guess there's no turning back now huh" Lucy stays. Lucy and Lyra then argue quickly about how Lyra not being able to help. The four enemies then Notice the guild mark on Natasha's shoulder "I know that mark, they're from Fairy Tail" Sherry says. "Interesting those villagers must have gone to the magical guilds for help," Yuka says in a bored tone. "Don't worry about them go and eradicate the village" Cold emperor says causing his subordinates to falter for a moment. "What?" Lucy says worriedly. "Why? Your threat is standing right in front of you" Natasha states. "Anyone who stands in my way whether deliberately or not is my enemy" Cold Emperor states. "What!" Natasha shouts before charging at Cold Emperor, but before she could reach him Gray ran past her creating something with his magic while shouting "Why you! Stop this crazy ceremony right now!"
Gray slams the floor causing giant ice spikes to start to come out of the floor which makes the four enemies jump back. Cold Emperor then does the same move except, unlike Gray, he only uses a single hand. The two spikey ice waves collide and destroy each other "No way this guy's an ice wizard too!" Happy says shocked. Gray then gets into a battle position and says "Lyon. How could you do you have any idea what you're doing!?" "Hello, Gray it's been quite a while hasn't it," Lyon says making Lucy and Happy even more confused. "Why would you even think to revive Deliora!?" Gray asks Lyon.
"To think that you were one of the wizards called to this island to help those poor villagers, did you come knowing you would find me, or is this just mere coincidence not that it makes any difference to me," Lyon says. "An acquaintance of yours Cold Emperor?" Yuka asks. Lyon simply ignores this and says "Do as you were ordered I can handle the intruders on my own." Yuka, Toby, and Sherry then quickly jump away with a simple "Yes Sir." Natasha then starts freaking out and chasing after them as Gray shouts "NO, Natasha don't go near him!" Lyon then freezes Natasha in a giant ball of ice, Gray then shouts to Lucy and Happy "Happy get Lucy away from here!" Happy then grabs Lucy and flies her away.
Gray then fires a pilar of ice at Lyone from his hands to which Lyon simply makes a shield and blocks the entire attack. "Hold on we can't just leave Natasha like that" Lucy says to Happy who simply replies with "She was hit with a type of ice magic that instantly freezes the air if we had stuck around there any longer we probably would have been frozen too." "Still we've got to help her," Lucy says. "If we do that then whose going to protect the villagers" Happy replies. "You distracted me long enough for the blonde-haired girl and the cat to escape chivalrous but ultimately pointless there's no way those two can stop my minions," Lyone says to Gray and Natasha. "Don't you ever underestimate the power of Fairy Tail wizards!" Natasha says. Gray then quickly turns to Natasha and says "Sorry about this Natasha" before kicking the ice ball surrounded fire wizard off the cliff. "You bastard I'll scorch you for this!" Natasha shouted on the way down.
Gray and Lyon now stood one on one "I see you're just as reckless as ever, was she not one of your allies?" Lyon asks. "You and I both know that with one spell you could blow up that ice and her with it," Gray says aggressively. "So you chose to send her safely outside the range of my magic that was a very clever move" Lyon praises. "I don't understand why you're trying to pull this superior act with me, Lyon, you're not, we're not Ur's students anymore!" Gray shouts. "I'm well aware of that, painfully aware..."
Lyon then removes his helmet showing a white-haired male around Gray's age before continuing "Our beloved teacher is no longer of this world" Lyon says. "Her final act was sealing that monster away are you really so callous that you would try to destroy our masters legacy!?" Gray asks. "Don't delude yourself we both know you're the one who killed Ur…" This causes Gray to become even angrier but also sad but Lyon continues "But you don't seem to feel any guilt how cruel."
With Natasha…
Natasha had landed at the bottom of the mountain after being kicked off by Gray and was currently trying to stand back up after having woken back up from being knocked unconscious. After using fire from her hands to propel herself onto her feet. Natasha then turns towards the mountain and shouts "Dammit Gray you're so gonna pay for this!" Natasha then ignites her hand and tries to melt the ice off of her "My fire isn't even putting a dent into this ice, what the hell?" She gives up shortly after figuring this out "Damn well I've got to get back to the village I'm just gonna have to run." Natasha then tries to start running only to quickly realize that it's impossible to do anything but pivot walk "This is gonna be harder than I thought" she thought sadly.
Out at Sea…
A boat could be seen sailing in the direction of Galuna Island but this was not a civilian vessel no this was a pirate ship, and while not completely strange as using an island that everyone was terrified to go to would make for a great hiding spot for them, no what was strange was that almost every crew member except for the captain and a guest were to knocked unconscious. The captain of the vessel turned to the guest and asked in a worried tone "Why do you wanna go to Galuna Island? It's scary."
The guest responded with an angry reply "Just shut up and steer." The crew then began to slowly awaken as the captain frantically said "If you drop us off somewhere you can have the boat. Please I'm begging ya lady I've heard that island is cursed and anyone who steps foot on its soil turns into a demon." "I will take that chance," The guest said. "But why do you have to go there!?" The captain asked terrified. "When rules are broken the guilty must be punished and that is all I can tell you," The guest said seriously. The crew seeing their beautiful red-haired guest so determined caused them to pledge their help to her cause.
At the same time back on the island with Gray…
Gray and Lyon were staring down at each other ready for battle with a few people who had previously been performing the moon drip ritual now watching the two ice wizards. "Enough with the games Gray You're the one who murdered Ur so just admit it. I'm surprised you even have the gall to speak her name!" Lyon shouted before raising his right hand and hitting Gray with a giant spiky ball sending him flying into a half-destroyed wall. "Lyon…" Gray then stands back up "*huff* *huff*" "What's wrong don't tell me the guilt is finally getting to you? I'm warning you don't try to interfere, whether you like it or not I'm resurrecting Deliora" Lyon says. Gray glares at Lyon while shouting "I won't let you!"
Lyon then drops the helmet he's been holding in his left hand and says "It's like old times but I've grown stronger since back then." He then holds up his right hand and shouts "Ice-Make: Eagle!" which sends dozens of ice eagles soaring towards Gray. Gray then slams his hands together and says "Ice-Make: Shield." creating a shield of ice that looks like a half snowflake. The eagles however fly around the shield and hit Gray "While your specialty is creating inanimate objects static ice make magic, mine is creating living creatures active ice make magic. Did you forget my ice has the ability to move?" Lyon taunts.
Gray jumps into the air slam his hands together and shouts "Ice-Make: Hammer!" which creates a giant hammer of ice. Lyon sees this and raises his left hand before saying "Ice-Make: Ape" creating a giant ape of ice to punch the hammer to pieces destroying both creations. "How pathetic you still use two hands when casting your Ice-Make spells" Lyon berates. "Yeah, because that's what Ur taught us. Single-handed spell casting is incomplete and unbalanced" Gray says. "Well then I'm the exception to that rule I surpassed Ur's skill level a long time ago" Lyon gloats.
Gray just glares at Lyon and angrily says "Shut your mouth." Lyon glares back at Gray and says "Regardless ever since we were children you've never been able to land a single hit on me." "Gray then does some hand signs and says "I'm a lot stronger than I used to be." Gray then pulls his hands apart, slams them to the ground, and shouts "Ice-Make: Geyser!" which causes giant spikes to shoot up from underneath Lyon and all around him. The people who had been watching the fight started to run around panicking out of fear. The giant tower of ice suddenly exploded and Lyon walked out of the mist while saying "Nothing has changed I was always the superior student and I'm still stronger than you. I was able to master single-handed Ice-Make magic while you still have to rely on two hands it's just like the old days. We may have chosen different paths but we're frozen in time our rankings as wizards never change."
Lyon puts his right-hand straight into the air and suddenly a giant ice dragon hits Gray from beneath his feet sending him flying then crashing back into the ground. "That's why I'm resurrecting Deliora to prove that I am more than Ur's star pupil. As a child I only ever dreamt of one thing the day I would surpass Ur's abilities as a wizard but you ruined it for me, Gray, after she dies I thought my life long dream of surpassing her had been dashed until I realized there was one more way. If I can defeat Deliora a demon so strong that not even Ur could vanquish it then I will have surpassed her power my dream will finally become a reality." Gray then rose to his feet and said "Listen to me that thing destroyed everything we cared about, and you want to bring it back just to prove how strong you are! That's insane! Please you can't do this!" An angered Lyon then thrust out his right hand and summoned multiple tiny dragon heads from the ground while saying "Please you can't do this, really."
Lyon then shot out more eagles striking Gray again "Funny you say that those were the exact words we said to you that fateful day, surely you haven't forgotten. It's because you challenged Deliora that Ur lost her life!" Gray was then hit with a giant fist of ice from beneath him "I can't stand you even speaking her name in my presence, Begone!" Lyon then created another giant ice dragon to continuously hit Gray around "This is the end, Gray!" Gray was lying face down on the ground after Lyon's ice dragon knocked him around and left him lying on the ground, he was tired and was remembering the time he trained with Ur.
Flashback…
A young Gray was lying face down in the snow wearing nothing but a pair of boxers to cover himself when a female voice spoke from behind him saying "Come on don't tell me you're giving up that easily, get up Gray!..."
Present…
"Get up Gray," Natasha said to the downed Gray. "Man you look rough he beat the snot outta ya huh," Natasha said while still encased in the block of ice. "Natasha, what...are..you doing here?" Gray manages to get out in a tired and pained voice. "I couldn't remember how to get back to the village so I climbed back up to look for it" Natasha then grabbed Gray by the shirt and started to pick him up "I see the village now so come on let's go." "Wait I can walk," Gray says. Where's Lyon?" Gray questions. "I don't know by the time I made it back everybody had already vanished" Natasha answers.
Gray then tried to stand up only to fall back to his knees so Natasha who hadn't let his shirt go through him over her back and started walking back towards the village. "Now hold on we have to get back to the village before they do," Natasha said as she started walking. Gray was having another flashback of his time spent with Ur and a younger Lyon.
Flashback…
"No way Deliora is out of your league Gray it'll kill you don't go! Ur shouted. Gray then thought back to before they got on the boat to head to the island "I'm going on this S class quest!" Natasha shouted. "Natasha I'm warning you You're way outa your league here just come home!" Gray shouted.
Present…
"Hey," Gray says to Natasha in a weak voice. "Yeah?" Natasha asks. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't believe in you. I'm no better" Gray says before tears started trailing down the sides of his face. Natasha then stopped walking for a moment to shout "You better stop feeling sorry for yourself cause you lost a fight, you're a member of Fairy Tail! And we don't give up when the times are tuff so suck it up and put it behind you and keep moving forward." Natasha then started to run at a much faster rate than before and as she did this she smirked and said: "Great now it's even harder to run."
In the village…
Lucy had just arrived and was rallying the villagers to defend their home. "Listen up everyone the people who caused the curse who transformed you are planning an attack on the village!" Lucy shouted. "They're gonna come down here to fight us!?" A villager shouted. "Yeah, but I've got a plan we'll capture them and lock them up until they tell us how to change you back," Lucy said with conviction. The villagers then started to talk and mumble amongst one another ultimately deciding that trying to defend themselves was the best option. Happy then came up beside Lucy and in a worried tone said "The only problem is I'm pretty sure that those three are wizards they're gonna be hard to catch." "Your right and you're the only one we've got right now" Lucy agreed. "Well good luck," Lucy said after. Happy's face then twisted into that of fear and he said "The last time I checked you were a wizard too!"
Lucy stood thinking for a moment more before she clapped her hands together and said "I just had a brilliant idea." "Nothing good can come of this" Happy says worriedly. The chief of the village then joined the crowd and asked "What are all of you doing out here?" "We don't have much time sir the enemy's going to attack any second now!" Lucy said. "The enemy?" The chief said. "Yes, the one responsible for the curse that's transformed your people they've been hiding in the old temple in the jungle!" The chief then went ballistic and shouted at Lucy saying "I don't care who's in the temple why haven't you destroyed the moon yet!" "Well you see it wasn't the moon that did this to you exactly but now we know who did," Lucy said. The chief was having none of it and shouted "You lie do what I've asked of you!"
The chief was then being restrained by two of the villagers who took him away to calm down. Lucy just watched this and sweatdropped before a villager beside her said "He doesn't mean any of that he's just upset. He's been like this since Bobo died." "Poor man. I know how to trap the enemy" Lucy said to the villager. "We'll be happy to help if you need us" The villager responded. Lucy then went and declined the offer for help while gloating about being Fairy Tail's greatest Celestial spirit wizard she then shouted "Open Gate of the maidan, Virgo!" Virgo then shot out of the ground and all the village people said the same thing "She's cute."
After everyone was done fangirling over Virgo she quickly did as Lucy asked of her. "Good work Virgo my plan is going to work perfectly," Lucy said strongly. "I'm not so sure," Virgo said doubtfully. "What did you just say!?" Lucy asked defensively. Happy then walked up next to Lucy and said: "Hey Lucy I really hate to break it to you but I think you might be stupid." "Wow thanks a lot for the encouragement," Lucy said. Happy then in a defeated tone said "I just don't think anybody's going to fall for your trap cause it's the oldest trick in the book."
Lucy just had a cheshire grin on her face and said "Now don't be silly a pitfall trap will get them every time." Yes, Lucy had Virgo dig a hole a few feet into the ground and cover it with leaves this was her master plan. "But you can tell what it is by looking at it," Happy said dejectedly. "It doesn't matter cause there is only one way to get into the village so the enemy was going to have to go over it if they want in" Lucy defended her trap. Happy, the villagers, and Virgo all agreed that they didn't think that Lucy's trap would work. "Go ahead and doubt me you'll see," Lucy said angrily.
A villager who was keeping watch over the village wall then shouted down "Miss. Lucy, there's somebody heading this way!" Lucy then had the villager open the gate and everyone immediately saw Natasha encased in a ball of ice running with an unconscious Gray on her back. "Hey, guys are you OK!" Natasha called out. Everyone then went bug-eyed and started yelling at Natasha to stop running towards them and Natasha stopped one foot away from the trap and said "You've got to be kidding me… HAHAHA! Was this your plan Lucy!?" Natasha then lost her balance as she was laughing and fell into the trap.
When everyone went over to the hole to see if Natasha and Gray were OK the first thing Natasha said was "OK it was pretty funny but we don't have time to play these kinds of jokes on one another." "Don't look at me it was Lucy's dumb idea to try and trap the bad guys with this thing" Happy said while shrugging his shoulders. "I'm glad you're OK I was worried about you!" Happy shouts down at Natasha. "Yeah, I'm fine but Gray's down for the count," Natasha says. "The guy in the mask beat him up that badly?" Lucy asked.
Natasha didn't answer Lucy only then realizing that the ice that she was previously encased in was gone and said "Hell yeah, the damn ice is gone." "I guess the pitfall must have shattered it. See I knew it would be useful for something" Lucy said half-serious. "Excuse me princess but I believe the spell was broken when he left the caster's range of magic," Virgo said to Lucy.
The villagers then help Natasha get Gray up and out of the hole before laying his unconscious body down on the ground to inspect the damage that had been dealt to him. "So how come Lyon's lackeys haven't made it here yet?" Natasha asks. "That's a good question they left for the village before you but you got here first I wonder what's taking them so long?" Lucy says. "Yeah with Gray and the giant ice cube I was pretty slow" Natasha responds. Lucy then says that they should recover the hole to which Natasha just looks at her and remarks how dumb the plan was from the start. A villager spotted something in the sky and shouted causing everyone to quickly turn and look, and what they saw was Lyon's three lackeys riding on the back of the giant rat in a maid costume only this time the rat was using its tail to fly and was carrying a giant bucket.
On the rat…
"I didn't realize that double poison jelly took so long to prepare," Sherry said. "We timed it perfectly those wizards were able to make it back to the village," Yuka says. Toby just growls then barks in agreement. "We can not rest until the demon Deliora has been revived for the Cold Emperor anyone who dares to stand in our way must die," Sherry said with a glare. The bucket that the rat was carrying moved a little and a drop of green jelly started to fall towards the ground.
On the ground…
The green jelly could be seen falling towards the ground and it was about to hit Lucy but Natasha tackled her out of the way and shouted "Watch out!" The jelly then hit the ground and it melted a hole into the ground where Lucy was previously standing. "That smell I knew the stuff was deadly" Natasha said as the villager was freaking out. Natasha was glaring at the rat and was the first to see the giant rat swing the bucket around and launch all the jelly to surround the entire village in hopes of destroying it in its entirety.
"How are we gonna protect are ourselves from acid jelly!?" Lucy screamed hysterically. Natasha then took off running towards the middle of the town while shouting "I want everybody to get into the center of the village!" "Ready to fly happy!?" Natasha asked. "Aye!" Happy said as flew after Natasha. Natasha then jumped high into the air and Happy grabbed her quickly flying her even higher. The villagers in the meantime were running for their lives a few had grabbed Gray's body and were running with that but the chief refused to leave the grave of Bobo.
Natasha had reached a height that would work perfectly for her plan "Flames in my right hand, flames in my left hand you put them together you get! Hi Ryū Kagayakashī Hi!" (Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame) Natasha then threw the giant fireball at the jelly causing the jelly to either be incinerated or dispersed away from the center of the village protecting almost everyone a droplet of the jelly hit Bobo's grave and the villagers thought the chief was dead but Virgo appeared out of the steam and was holding the chief.
The villagers then start checking themselves and each other for wounds and everyone appeared to be fine. The chief however was happy to see that Bobo's grave still stood but then Yuka kicked the grave over causing Natasha to become furious. "The Cold Emperor ordered us to eradicate the village and its people we were trying to show mercy by making your deaths painless but since that didn't work we'll have to resort to bloodshed," Sherry says in an emotionless tone. "Fifty villagers and two wizards shouldn't take more than fifteen minutes," Yuka says. "You ready?" asks as she gets in a fighting stance. "Yeah" Lucy replied. Gray started to wake up as the chief started screaming again and was carried off by two villagers, and after a minute Gray stood up and was breathing heavily "Wait…let me help you" he said through heavy breaths. "Gray you came to," Lucy said happily.
Natasha wasn't as happy and said "Not gonna happen we don't need your help." "Natasha, don't do this to me," Gray said through pants. Natasha then walked up to Gray and punched him in the gut Gray's knees started to buckle and before he fell unconscious again he said "Someday….I'll…kill..." "Why?" Lucy said quietly. "Natasha's showing Gray some tough love" Happy said. "So deep down they do care for each other" Lucy says. Natasha then hands the villager Gray's body and Lucy ask if they'll watch over him to which they happily agree before they all leave the area. "We're not leaving until every person in this village is dead. Angelica" Sherry said.
The giant rat then jumped into the air and started flying after the villagers Natasha ducks the rat and Lucy grab onto the rat's leg. "Yep she's stupid," Happy says. "What does she think she's doing?" Sherry sked from Angelica's shoulder. Lucy then started to tickle the rat's foot causing it to laugh hysterically and for its tail to stop spinning causing the three of them to fall out of the sky. Natasha just watched this and sweatdropped "Oh great he's going to be ticked" Yuka said. "I Don't have any ticks!" Toby shouted at Yuka. "I wasn't talking about you," Yuka said. "Do you think she made it?" that big rat might have crushed her," Natasha said worriedly. "If so she's probably a goner I'll go and check on her" Happy said quietly. "Thanks, be careful," Natasha said. Happy then flew off in the direction that Angelica fell out of the sky.
"I'll stay here and deal with them," Natasha said as she looked at Yuka and Toby. Natasha then launched herself at Toby and headbutt him knocking him back she then unleashed a roar at Yuka. Yuka blocked the attack with a water shield and then said "A wizard who can breathe fire I see don't tell me your the Pheonix from Fairy Tail I've heard so much about." Natasha didn't reply only looked over at Toby who was back up on his feet "You know we used to be members of wizard guild ourselves so you shouldn't blow us off. In fact, iron rock Jura belongs to the same guild surely you've heard of the Lamia Scale" Yuka says smugly. "Raw-war" Toby growls.
Natasha throws her hands into their directions and spews fire from her hands instead of answering. Yuka barely manages to block the attack and with a face of slight fear and shock says "Hey cut it out listen when I'm talking to you!" "Why? You think I care what guild you're from or who the other members are we came here to help the villagers and you're the ones who put them in danger" Natasha replied as Toby was putting his flaming head out. "Which makes you Fairy Tail's enemy and that gives me more than enough reason to kick your ass!" Natasha said with a face of rage. "Hey Toby just stays back you don't need to get involved I've got this!" Yuka said angrily.
Yuka then thrust his right arm out and had his held his hand vertically, and shouted "Wave!" A vertical circular energy disc started to slowly advance towards Natasha who lit her fist ablaze and said "I'll tear this thing apart!" Natasha however was jumped to her right and dodged the disc as it went flying through the air and landing in a crouch "Oops I guess you weren't ready for that" Yuka said with a smug smile. Natasha just unleashed a fire dragon roar at him to which Yuka shouted "Wave!" and the fire hit his shield and dissipated immediately. "The pulsing energy that's coming from my hand diffuses all types of magic which means none of your spells will work against me" Yuka stated.
Natasha just glared at him and said to herself "So that's why my firepower couldn't destroy his barrier. I get it." "I studied antiwizard magic while I was with the Lamia Scale guild, and I'm sure you could understand why. No matter how strong they might be all wizards are powerless against me" Yuka said as magic circles covered both his hands. He then summoned two balls of energy and threw them at Natasha while shouting "Een you!"
Natasha jumped away from the energy balls and used the dust they created to charge at Yuka with a flaming fist, but Yuka simply held out his hand and blocked the attack with another energy barrier stopping Natasha's fist. "As I told you your magic is useless against my Wave," Yuka said while holding his barrier up. Natasha just had a crazy smirk on her face and in a slightly insane voice said "That doesn't mean I'm gonna let you off the hook I'll just have to crush you without it."
Natasha then punches with the other hand "Oh look I broke right through it" she said with her right arm through the barrier but Yuka did something causing Natasha to feel immense pain in her arm and scream in pain "You just put your arm in a vortex of magical energy, not a smart move" Yuka said. Natasha with her crazy eyes and smile just started to push more of her body through the wave and said to a terrified Yuka "Your magic is no use for my brute strength so what are you gonna do now!? HAHAHA!" "She's crazy Yuka watch out!" Toby shouted.
Yuka having calmed down enough to not have a face of full fear then he said: "You might have made it partially through the wave but you're stuck now Pheonix your flames aren't going to work know that you're inside." Natasha's eyes and smile only grew bigger and crazier when she said "But I can still use them outside and you just gave me a great idea! Hi Ryū Hi Erubō!" (Fire Dragon Flame Elbow) Fire then started to shoot out from her elbow pushing her further through the barrier "She's using her magic to increase the power of her punch!" Yuka screamed in fear.
Natasha's fist then soared completely through the barrier and hit Yuka in the face sending him flying and knocking him unconscious. "That's one down," Natasha said with a smile. "Man you're awesome," Toby said. "You're about to see how awesome first hand!" Natasha threatened. "I'm not scared cause I'm even stronger than Yuka is," Toby said as he raised his hands and long green claws appeared "Check out my mega jellyfish paralyzing claws bet you'll never guess what these babies can do" Toby gloated. "Paralyze you," Natasha said in a bored tone. "How did you know that? Hey, you got ESP or something?" Toby asked astonished. "No, you're just really dumb," Natasha says with a neutral face.
Toby then charged at her and said "Nobody talks to me like that!" Natasha sidestepped him easily and said, "Hey watch it." Toby then tried to hit her again to which she easily dodged again while Toby was shouting "One touch my claws will have you frozen and waiting to die!" Natasha just smirked and calmly said 'Hey man hang on a second you've got a little something right here." Natasha was pointing to her head. Toby then stabbed himself with his claws shocking him and knocking him unconscious. "Well that was easy," Natasha said in a bored tone.
Natasha then walked over to Bobo's knocked over a gravestone, picked it up, and put it back into its place while saying "We're gonna find a way to change your people back to normal Bobo. I know we will and I promise I will avenge your death."
In Deliora's chamber…
Lyon stood in front of the frozen Deliora gazing at it when a short man with long green hair and a mask approached with a few followers behind. "Excuse me Cold Emperor I'm sorry to interrupt but I was wondering why you chose to spare the life of that wizard Gray," The short man said. "No reason other than I don't feel the need to shed any more blood" Lyon responded. "You say that but ordering your minions to murder those villagers tells a different story. It would appear that you have a soft spot for your former rival" The man said. "Nonsense I simply have no desire to get any more blood on MY hands, but if he happens to get in my way again I won't hesitate to kill him," Lyon said. "Hm... That's good I'm glad" The man said with a smile.
With Lucy…
Lucy was just starting to wake up after being knocked unconscious from the fall and said "Wait where's that weird chick?" "Do you have any idea what you've done?" A teary-eyed Sherry said angrily. "This is horrible because of you the Cold Emperor will no longer be able to trust me, and look what you did to Angelica, I'll make you pay!" "Bring it on let's see what you've got!" Lucy shouted in reply. Sherry then thrust her hand backward and shouted "Wood Doll!"
A giant tree creature then walked up behind Lucy and she said "What that tree's alive!" Sherry then screamed and the tree punched down at Lucy to which she jumped out of the way and said "Open gate of the Golden Bull, Taurus" which summoned Taurus to Lucy's aid. Taurus then charged at the tree while screaming and cut it in half with his axe "So she's a celestial wizard" Sherry said surprised. "Nice work Taurus" Lucy congratulated. "How about you reward me with a smooooch!" Taurus shouted happily. Sherry stood up near the edge of the cliff she was standing on and said "What type of wizards forces their spirits to say something like that? You disgust me." "I didn't force him to say that I hate when he's pervy!" Lucy shouted back.
Sherry then smirked evilly and said, "Well your kind don't like my magic and you're about to find out why." "Taurus go!" Lucy shouted as Taurus charged at Sherry. Taurus stopped running however before he even got to the cliff face and instead turned around and slammed his axe at Lucy who just barely managed to dodge "What are you doing!? Stop it!" Lucy shouted fearfully. Taurus ignored her and jumped into the air and slammed his axe down again to which Lucy again barely dodged "What's gotten into you!?" Lucy shouted.
Taurus pinned Lucy down and said, "Miss Luuucy I can't control my moooovments." "Marionette attack magic, you like? It allows me to control any living thing well everything except for humans that is it works well on your spirit friend" Sherry said while using her hands as a puppeteer. "Please Taurus let me go" Lucy pleaded. "I wish that I could miss Lucy I can't help it she's controlling my every mooove" Taurus answered. "Close now Gate of the Golden Bull!" Lucy screamed in desperation. "I thought that celestial gates couldn't be closed unless both parties consent to it," Sherry said to herself. "Close the gate! Taurus please!" Lucy shouted. "Beg all you want but it won't make any difference," Sherry said and Lucy just shouted Taurus's name again. "Oh I know let's play a game of Russian roulette of punches, close your eyes and punch till you get a hit," Sherry said with an evil smile.
Taurus then closed his eyes and punched down and Lucy's head making her quickly move it to the other side. "Fine how long can you dodge before you were out?" Sherry asked smugly. Taurus then pulled his other fist back and punched down at Lucy again as she pleaded with Taurus to not hit her. "I'm trying not to," Taurus said. He then clasped his hands together and brought them over his head bringing them down closer still to Lucy's head. "Are all Fairy Tail wizards as pathetic as you? This is just sad" Sherry said. "Taurus remember the contract you made with me snap out of it!" Lucy shouted. Taurus then hesitated with his next hit as he remembered…
Flashback…
Taurus and Lucy stood in a pasture somewhere surrounded by cows talking. "So your name is Lucy, huh your body's so hot it's making me droooool. Oh look at you" Taurus said as he ogled Lucy who just shook her head and in a disappointed tone said "I never would have imagined that the zodiacs Golden Bull would be such a pervert. I don't know if I want to go through with this." "Mooo! There's no need for you to worry pretty lady if you make a contract with me I'll do everything I can to protect yooou and your hot bod too" Taurus said seriously. "Promise?" Lucy asked. "Oooooo… I swear" Taurus said happily.
Present…
Taurus was fighting off the puppeteer magic as Lucy shouted "You promised that you'd always be around to protect me remember!" Taurus then grabbed his head and screamed to the sky "Hey what do you think you're doing!? Just finish her off already!" Sherry shouted. Taurus lifted a fist into the air again even as he struggled "Remember what she said we can send you back but we got to work together you gotta fight it Taurus!" Lucy shouted.
Taurus then threw his fist down at Lucy but it stopped inches from her face and Taurus started to glow and he disappeared back into the celestial realm. Sherry was surprised as was Lucy who put her hands in the air and was happy that it worked. "She beat it my marionette attack magic failed me, but how could this happen?" Sherry whispered to herself. "Oh wow. I've gotten stronger." Lucy said before standing up and saying "Watch out cause you're dealing with a full-fledged member of the Fairy Tail guild now!"
This chapter is mostly canon but in the next few chapters, I have some cool things coming especially in the next arc and I can't wait to see what you all think. I don't have much else to say except have a good morning, afternoon, or night.
