Episode 7; Land of Edolas!
Once everything was cleared all of us went back to our Guilds as we were bringing home two new members to Fairy Tail, Wendy and Carla. I was glad to talk with another girl who is also a Dragon Slayer like me, getting to know her will be a treat. Also as a quick notice Lucy obtained the three Zodiac Keys that once belonged to Angel which she was happy about and now up to 9 Zodiacs which meant there are only 3 more out there waiting for her to find them. However this next adventure brings us to a land we never knew about, and I was going to see someone who was thought to be dead but actually still alive. And we were going to fight a Royal Army who planned to take magic from our world.
Chapter 1; Fairy Tail's Top Wizard, Gildarts!
A couple of weeks passed by after the events with the Oracion Seis, Fairy Tail also dealt with a woman who controls artificial dragons. At the end it was Natsu's anger that was able to win the day and stop the artificial dragons. Now the day comes when a certain Wizard returns home after three years working on a job.
Right now at the Fairy Tail Guild Crystal is looking at the Request Board for any particular jobs she could take, though none of them seem to come to her interest.
"Hmm, what job to take this time? Cooking, traveling across the land, or runaway lost child. These aren't so hard, but I'll need some cash to get ready for something." Crystal says to herself looking at the requests.
"It isn't hard to pick a job, let's just pick one and head out." Frost tells her which she agrees, when suddenly Max and Warren barged into the Guild looking surprised saying they have big news, then some bells start ringing. "Are those bells ringing?"
"I wonder why that is." Crystal says curiously.
"It means a member of Fairy Tail has returned home, Gildarts." Gray tells them. "He is the strongest Wizard of the whole Guild."
"Really?! I thought Erza was the strongest?!" Crystal exclaimed, then the whole town started shaking as Crystal went to the doorway to look out with Lucy and Wendy to see the whole town shift for Gildarts so he doesn't accidentally break everything with his Crush Magic. Everyone waited as they could see someone walking to the Guild, once Crystal could get a better look at him, he is a tall man that has light brown hair with brown eyes, he wears a brown cloak with leather shoulder pads. The man known as Gildarts looked at the Guild with a big sigh.
"Come on you old geezer! Let's throw down!" Natsu exclaimed. Crystal was dumbstruck to hear Natsu would fight someone who had only returned home after a 3 Year leave. Being gone he knew the guild looked different and didn't recognize Mirajane. "Gildarts!" Natsu called out to him which he turned to see the Dragon Slayer.
"Natsu! Hey pal, there's someone I recognize!" Gildarts says as Natsu leaps at him for a punch, though Gildarts grabbed Natsu flipping him and tossed him up the ceiling. "Not now kid." Crystal was amazed how he easily tossed Natsu like it was nothing.
"Same old tough guy we've always known." Gray says glad to see him.
"Genuine old fashion man's man." Elfman says as Gildarts notices Lucy, Crystal, Frost, Wendy and Carla.
"I see a couple of new faces around here too. A lot happened while I was gone." He says wondering what happened while being away the past 3 years. Then Makarov called out to him wondering about the job he took as he laughed. "No good… way too much for me…" When he said that everyone was in complete shock, a job not even he could complete?! Makarov had a neutral expression and was glad that Gildarts returned home safely. Gildarts decided to go home and rest up. "Oh Natsu, stop by later. I brought something back for you." He walked to the wall and his Crush Magic kicked in breaking it for an opening.
"He goes through the wall instead of using the door?!" Crystal exclaimed seeing how Gildarts left. Then Makarov walked up to Crystal.
"I know there have been many events over the past days, but please I think we need to talk." He tells her and they go somewhere private. "Now then, I remember you had a reason for taking on the Masked Girl. Did you encounter her during your times with the Oracion Seis?" Crystal was unsure how to answer from what she witnessed.
"Y-yes… I did encounter her…" She tells him remembering the fight she had with the Masked Girl. At that point when she saw after breaking half of the mask she couldn't believe what she saw. "When I won against her, I had shattered part of her mask… I thought my eyes were deceiving me… the face she had, was my sister's who I remembered was killed by the exact person."
"Hmm… so the masked girl is your older sister long thought to be killed, that raises a lot of questions to this memory of yours." Makarov says, wondering why her sister would be in two places. "It is possible there is a reason for this, someone with Black Magic could have created a synthetic copy of your own sister, but this one resides in the Darkness. It could explain why there was both your sister and the Masked Girl in that memory."
"I guess so, but I still have the nightmares about all those people and my sister's death. I'm scared to find out what else I've been through from my past." She explains as he is also worried about her continuous Nightmares.
"As long as that clone is walking on the Earth you won't be able to rest. You are supported by everyone in Fairy Tail, they have become your family. Remember that no matter the situation, everyone is always behind you." Makarov tells her cheering her up as she could see from her eyes that Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, Happy, Carla, and Frost nodded or smiled at her.
"Right… no matter, I'll continue until I finish it!" Crystal says determined.
"That's the spirit, show those that a wizard of Fairy Tail never gives up hope and you'll fight on!" Makarov tells her. Crystal stood up from her seat and left the room as Makarov was still sitting on the chair wondering. "Her memories are most likely about the forgotten Kingdom of Ice, but what connections does she have there? There are more mysteries that need to be answered, if Gildarts decides to go on another job I'll ask him to search for any leads for me. Stay strong Crystal."
Chapter 2; Anima, Travel to the Land of Edolas!
Some time has passed as like a normal day for the Guild as Crystal and Frost are having something to fill their stomachs, however something seems to bother Frost. Crystal was wondering what he had on his mind, she would try to ask about it but he'd simply just avoid it. However something big happened to the Guild as Crystal wondered what was going on as Frost panicked.
"No! It can't be!" He spoke suddenly as a flash of light blinded them and it seemed like they were gonna vanish however Frost quickly grabbed Crystal flying high into the air. Once the light cleared Crystal could see the land now changed to a white desert land with bubbles.
"What happened?! Where's the Guild? Everyone else?" Crystal asked Frost, confused and wondering what happened as Frost is still holding onto her.
"To think, the Anima would go for Magnolia." Frost said suddenly which Crystal wondered what he was talking about. She looked down and saw Natsu, Wendy, and Carla together.
"Wait! That crazy story you told me was true!?" Natsu asked Wendy and she nodded. "Hello?! Can anyone hear me?!"
"Natsu! Wendy!" Crystal called out to them from the sky as Frost lowered themselves to where the two Dragon Slayer's are.
"You survived also!" Wendy says happy to see her also.
"So it's only us? Is that because we are Dragon Slayers?" Crystal asked.
"Yes, it is." Carla answered.
"Where is everyone else? What happened to them." Crystal asked.
"They've been taken by the Anima, therefore they don't exist." Carla explained. "The giant hole in the sky is actually the gateway to Edolas, the world on the other side."
"Edolas?" Wendy and Crystal asked, surprised and confused on what she is talking about.
"Would you quit talking nonsense already?! I don't understand a word! Tell me where they went!" Natsu demanded.
"Natsu, calm down!" Crystal tells him. "Alright, now you better answer. What is going on and how do you know all this? And now that I think of it, why did neither you or Frost get taken by the strange storm?"
"What happened Natsu?!" Happy asked him, arriving just now. "Everything went POOF! I'm freaking out!" Natsu was glad to see him as also Wendy too.
"The reason I appear so informed about Edolas, is because I'm from there." Carla said which surprised Natsu, Wendy, Crystal, and Happy. "As well as those two, Happy and Frost." Crystal looked at Frost seeing his expression like he knew that the whole time.
"Hey Frost, did you know about all this?" She asked him, though he was silent for a moment.
"I'm sorry Krys, but this is all our fault this happened." He said suddenly and looked at Crystal who looked surprised to hear him say that. "Edolas, the world uses the Anima vortex to collect magic here as it is running low on all of it. However this version was incredibly large, far too powerful for anyone to close it. Using the vortex they targeted Magnolia because of the large amount of Magic power in this area."
"Is it because there were so many top class Wizards here in Fairy Tail?" Crystal asked him.
"That's exactly right." Frost explained.
"I can't believe it, that's a seriously selfish move! You better give back all of our friends right now!" Natsu yelled up at the storm.
"You mean it Frost? This happened because of you, me, and Carla? It's our fault?" Happy asked.
"Indirectly, yes…" Frost answered.
"What do you mean indirectly?" Happy asked.
"The King entrusted us to complete another mission entirely, something that was totally independent from the one involving Anima and magic absorption." Carla answered.
"But that doesn't make sense! How can that be true when you were born in this world?!" Wendy asked. "Hatched out of an egg?!"
"So was Frost and Happy, I found Frost and Natsu found Happy." Crystal said and starts to remember the time she found him.
-The day when Crystal found the Egg-
Young Crystal was walking in the forest after being found after a week, she had started going to school learning and she found out that she could use ice magic. She was feeling lonely as the other kids were unsure about being friends with her.
"Everyone seemed to get along while I am the one who doesn't even know a thing about the world or whatever else. I wish I had a friend to talk to." She said with a sigh, and looked up seeing someone in a black cloak was walking away. "Huh? Who is that?" Crystal went after the mysterious person, however the person disappeared before Crystal could catch up to them. "I wonder who that was." Crystal then looked to her right and saw a large egg with strange markings on it. "What is this? An Egg?" Crystal was surprised to find an egg out in the woods. Unsure how or where it came from she brought it back to the village, once she did the people were astounded that Crystal came back with a huge egg. A few days passed and a small cat with wings hatched out of the egg. "Oh wow, a cat! It looks so cute! But what could I name you? Hmm… oh! Maybe I can name you Frost! And you'll be my best friend!" Crystal was happy to have a little animal friend as a companion, the newborn cat stared at her unsure what was going on.
-End of memory-
Crystal stared at her small friend as he is currently deep thought, she gripped her fists thinking about all the friends she made have vanished while her Dragon Slayer companions are still here.
"Frost, let's go." She said all of a sudden.
"Have you lost your mind?!" Carla asked her.
"Listen here! I've lost my memory for a different reason! I didn't join Fairy Tail because of that, I wanted to make tons of new friends and one day have someone to be like my family. I got both of those and I am not going to lose them to some jerks from a different world." Crystal said determined and Natsu smiled at her enthusiasm.
"Agree with you there Crystal, now how about we go there." Natsu exclaimed and Carla explained that getting seen would be marking herself as a Traitor abandoning her mission so they would need to go in disguise. So the three bring out their wings as they carry their Dragon Slayer and fly up towards the Anima vortex, as they get closer they see flashes of lights and also the feeling of passing through an immense amount of pressure. Once they have gotten through the vortex the group could now see floating islands everywhere. However Frost, Carla, and Happy's wings suddenly vanished making all of them fall into a forest area, sadly with the world running low on magic it had affected not just them but the three Dragon Slayers also. As they ran into an odd monster and they couldn't use magic, which was a huge problem for traveling around the place they were in.
They continued on as they were in a mushroom forest then those mushrooms expanded launching them high and crashed into a house which they got some better clothes for disguises, Wendy got a new outfit as she ties her hair in two pigtails held together by two animal ear like attachments. She has a red long sleeved top with two buttons in the center and an ascot around her neck. The top is adorned with a small pattern around the shoulders and a small trim around the upturned cuffs, wearing a frilled skirt with a small trim running around the right above the end, and also wears thigh high socks. Crystal and Natsu put on hoods to cover themselves. Natsu found the Guild place however when they got in they quickly hid and saw that everyone was strangely off, Crystal seemed to notice everyone's personalities were reversed as she found Gray stacked with tons of clothes on him as well as being attracted to Juvia, although is Juvia being a big jerk to him, Elfman was being a crybaby, and tons of other things. Then all of a sudden they were found by Lucy who had black clothing on her and looked to be a tough fighter kind of person, and she proved that as she started doing wrestling attacks on Natsu realizing who he was.
Crystal then looked to one spot noticing a girl who actually looks like her, in fact it was her of Edolas.
"Wait a moment, could these versions of the people in our Guild be from Edolas, and their personalities are swapped from the ones from our world." Crystal thought to herself. Her Edolas version wears a frilly dress, the two are both the same height, same hair color, and eye color, as well as the same bust size. The Edolas version walked to her and Crystal was nervous.
"You don't seem to be from around here are you." She says to her Earthland counterpart.
"Eh yeah… In a way." She says nervously.
"Those costumes aren't much of a disguise you know." Edolas Crystal says to her. "Sure the others don't make it look obvious, you are from the Earthland aren't you."
"What?!" Crystal was surprised that her other self assumed who they were easily.
"The question is why you all are here." Edolas Crystal wondered what the story was, so Crystal decided to explain everything over on the side table. "I see, so your friends have been captured by the Anima."
"You know about the Anima?" Crystal asked her.
"Of course, I kept it secret from these guys. But I was once a member of the Royal Family of Edolas." She explained.
"Once? Did they expel you out of the Royal City?" Crystal asked.
"Actually I was adopted, part of the royal family. The captains from the Guard are strange, but there was one who I considered a friend. Although he seemed like a brother to me, then one day he left Edolas and went to stop the Anima the King created. Stealing magic from the other world wasn't right, so I left." Edolas Crystal explained which made Crystal wonder, if she was adopted to be Royalty, could she be Royalty in Earthland? However her thoughts were interrupted as warning of the Fairy Hunter was coming so Edolas Levy fired up the Magic Warp machine to escape from the enemy. They learned that the Fairy Hunter is none other than Erza Knightwalker, one of the Captains of the Royal Army.
Chapter 3; Journey to the Royal City!
After the warping from escaping the Fairy Hunter the group have explained they came from Earthland and that their Fairy Tail was taken. The Edolas Fairy Tail members suggested not fighting the Army, although they wouldn't ever leave their friends behind. So they start to travel hoping they can get to the Royal City,
Meanwhile a certain Iron Dragon Slayer is walking around in the same town searching for any possible leads of the others.
Back with the group they were being escorted by the Edolas version Lucy to a town where they got magic weapon tools for battle, at one point the Royal Army found them and they quickly ran. Then all of a sudden they heard a familiar voice and saw the Earthland Lucy caught by the army and she used Scorpio's key and actually summoned him suddenly thinking her magic wouldn't work, however she actually did summon Scorpio and he blasted them away. When she noticed the 6 of them she also noticed her Edolas version which surprised her. Then more Army soldiers arrived and Lucy summoned Aries using her wool magic and able to stall them for them to get away.
Once they were able to catch a breath Lucy explained how her spirit Horologium had the instinct to protect her from the Anima and that Mystogan explained how everyone was captured in Edolas and he sent her through the vortex in hopes to save everyone.
After a quick night in a hotel the Edolas Lucy left the Earthland group hurrying back to her own place. They started to explore a bit when the Royal Army troops mentioned about the extraction of Lacrima in only 2 days. So they tried to steal the airship, however it didn't go according to plan so it meant trouble for them. However someone arrived in a hotrod with fire power and drove them closer to the Royal City, and that person was Edolas Natsu. Natsu wanted to know why he doesn't get motion sickness so he pulled him out and they noticed that Edolas Natsu acts like a scared boy all of a sudden.
The 7 head forward as they were able to get to the Royal City, when they noticed people cheering for something and they went to see a large Lacrima.
"A Lacrima that big must mean that it's holding our friends in there." Crystal assumed looking at the large chunk of Lacrima.
"Look, at the top of it there seems to be part of it missing." Frost noted thinking there might be more of it somewhere else. Then they see an old man in clothing like royalty, this man is Faust the King of Edolas.
"Children of Edolas, it brings great joy to my heart to tell you that our Anima program has produced enough magic power to last another Decade!" He says to the crowd.
"You didn't produce a darn thing, all you did was break into our world and steal it from us!" Happy says angry.
"Please control your temper tomcat." Carla told him.
"Let us rejoice together! Let us sing and dance! Let laughter roar through our sacred kingdom!" Faust said and the people cheered happily. "The power within this Lacrima belongs to all loyal subjects of our fair homeland, today we hold our future in our hands to ensure it's prosperity into tomorrow and beyond! Therefore we must swear to protect this gift from heaven with our very lives!" The crowd cheered even louder than before this time. "My dear children, today I shall make a most solemn pledge to you as your benevolent ruler. I will bring you more power, so much more than you can possibly imagine!" He swung his staff into the Lacrima making small pieces break off of it as people continued cheering for the greatest day.
Carla then drew a map from a memory she had gained, though Frost found that kind of hard to believe. So they got to the tunnel and Lucy got some materials to make torches and used some way to make fire since Natsu couldn't use magic, so they light them up and move forward through the tunnel following Carla's map which it lead to a dead end, though Lucy summoned Taurus to smash through it. They continued forward and they entered into a cavern of some sorts and suddenly they were trapped by the Royal army except Carla, Frost, and Happy weren't caught in what the soldiers used to trap the four.
"So these are the magic users from Earthland." A familiar female voice spoke up and they looked to see Erza, however it wasn't their Erza, but actually the Erza of Edolas. "It's amazing you resemble the outlaws Natsu Dragion and Lucy Ashley. Take them away." The soldiers obeyed, and dragged them away a bit as Happy, Carla, and Frost were about to go after them but Erza Knightwalker stepped in front of them. "Great Exceeds." She says to them and she as well as the soldiers bowed before them. "I'm honored to welcome you home." The other four were confused. "We're most grateful in capturing the intruders." That is when Carla realized that the memory she gained brought them into a trap without realizing it, Frost gritted his teeth knowing it seemed suspicious how she gained a strange memory of the Castle's underground tunnel.
Chapter 4; The Mission of the Exceeds
Once they finally captured them, they locked away the three Dragon Slayers while Lucy was going to be executed. As this happened Gajeel is currently in the city in hopes to maybe restore some members of Fairy Tail from the Giant Lacrima that is currently guarded.
Up in a higher place Happy wakes up and gets both Carla and Frost to wake up also. Carla regretted not realizing that she led the group into a trap. Then someone entered the room looking like a orange-yellow cat.
"I beg your pardon, are you the ones who recently completed an Earthland mission?" He asked the three.
"It's Ichiya?!" Happy exclaimed, surprised from hearing his voice and seeing how he looks. "Wait a second, you're a cat?!"
"Don't be silly, I'm no mere cat I'm an Exceed just like you!" He explains.
"Mister Nichiya sir, I've been told this is their first time they've been to Edolas. In fact I doubt they've ever seen another Exceed before." A black Exceed walks into the room, this one is Nadi the Minister of State.
"Really? Well I had no idea. Welcome, I am Nichiya the Captain of Extalia's Royal Guard! Meow Meow." He tells the three.
"And my name is Nadi, otherwise known as Extalia's Minister of State! Congrats on your mission!" Nadi tells them while waving his paw continuiously.
"Our mission?" Happy asked confused.
"I know this is rather sudden, but the queen would like to see you. Follow me." Nichiya tells them
"The queen, seriously?!" Happy exclaimed. As Carla was depressed from her misguided act, Frost was worried about Crystal. The three of them follow the two Exceeds through the halls and then went out seeing many other Exceeds enjoying life like they were regular humans. Walking into the castle of Extalia and learning the Queen has the power of deciding those who perish. Carla then mentioned her mission was to eliminate the Dragon Slayer called Wendy, when she had said that Happy realized if he was also part of doing the mission as well as Frost, the two of them were to eliminate Natsu and Crystal. However instead of eliminating them it was better to bring them and use their magic power as resource supply.
"Let's get one thing straight! We're not your puppets!" Happy suddenly declared, which surprised both Nichiya and Nadi.
"You've got it wrong! We are Fairy Tail Wizards and we don't work for you!" Frost shouted completely angry. This had Happy taking Carla's arm and they started running away. "Let them come after us! I'd never abandoned my friends!" This labeled the three of them as Fallen. The three of them have crashed into one of the lower parts of the island and noticed a giant mountain of Lacrima on a different floating island apart from the one in the city.
"Hey you little varmints! What the Queets britches are you doing on my field?!" A voice spoke up behind them and they looked to see a white male Exceed wearing a farmer's attire. "I was expecting a couple of deadbeats, but I caught trouble makers instead. You're the fallens ain't ya? Now get on out of here!" He then brought the trio to his place for some unknown reason as a blue female Exceed returned home who looked the same color as Happy.
"I see we have some guests." She says seeing the trio.
"Yea, sorry to trouble you." Happy says to her.
"Oh it's no trouble." She says with a soothing tone, and the three introduced themselves. "My those are such wonderful names, now why don't you come inside and wash up?" They go in the house getting cleaned up and of course Happy and Frost worked hard with the male known as Lucky, though the two were sometimes getting distracted about thinking about their closest friends. The blue Exceed Marell had given them hope to break their negative thoughts, bringing their positive feelings and their sense of who they are and now able to use their wings again.
They were able to rescue Lucy, and got the info of where the three Dragon Slayers from Edolas Erza but it was short lived as some soldiers informed her of the three being Fallens, then a massive amount of Exceed Guards found them and flew after them when King Faust initiated Code ETD which turned all the Exceeds into a giant Lacrima.
"There are no Gods in this word! We humans have suffered with scarcity, while the Exceeds flaunt at their limitless abodes. Horde with their wealth of magic power while we were forced to beg for scraps. It's time to grab what is kept at arm's length for all these years, to claim our rightful price which we've been denied! As of this moment the era of begging and subservience is over, we must fight for the future of humanity! We must rebuild our kingdom of a foundation of limitless magical power for all of humankind! We must rise up and take what is ours! Therefore I am initiating Code ETD, Exceeds Total Destruction! These so called Angels shall meet their extermination by our hands!"
Down in the west tower Byro absorbs magic power from Natsu, Crystal, and Wendy. Lucy, Happy, Carla, and Frost were searching for the Dragon Slayers, however Edolas Erza got in the way of the four and she walked forward about to kill Lucy, however Happy got in the way to make her miss and destroy the floor. They tried to distract the guards but Edolas Erza got in the way again easily.
"And with that your devil's luck has completely run out." Edolas Erza said to them and she readied her weapon to end them, however a certain duo arrived.
"You've got some nerve lady! You know they're with us, and you decided to mess with them anyway!" A familiar male voice spoke up in an icy cool breeze.
"Anyone who would lay a hand on our fellow guild members, will be dealt with accordingly." Another familiar voice spoke but this one being female.
"How?! I thought the two of you were gone!" Frost said, surprised to see them.
"You've made a big mistake, and now you're on Fairy Tail's bad side! You should've known better than to mess with us!" The cold breeze started to clear up showing Gray and Erza of Earthland.
"I don't believe it, it looks just like her." A soldier says seeing Earthland Erza as the Edolas version was in shock to see her counterpart looking serious.
"You guys have got some explaining to do." Gray says and takes his stance. "Where are our friends your king turned into a Lacrima?!" He sends an Ice-Make geyser attack at the soldiers as Edolas Erza went at them as Erza blocked her attack, this was going to be a battle between two of the same person from different worlds.
"Go on Gray, I can handle this!" Erza tells him and he freezes the goo from Lucy's tied hands and breaks it. The 5 of them continue down the hallway searching for Natsu, Wendy, and Crystal. Gray explains that Gajeel freed the two of them from the Lacrima in the city using his Dragon Slayer magic and about he had help from his Edolas counterpart and Mystogan gave some pills that allowed them to use their magic freely in Edolas. Happy declared to take Gajeel to the larger Lacrima in the sky, as Gray, Lucy, Carla, and Frost opened a door to find the trio unconscious. Gray gave each of the Dragon Slayers the pills to give them their magic back and wake them up. Although the trio learned something horrible as Natsu ran off, as Crystal and Wendy explained the Royal Army plan to destroy Extalia by colliding the giant Lacrima into the land. If it happens then all of Earthland Fairy Tail Members will be lost forever.
"To think guys like them are crazy just to obtain magic, it's just wrong. So many lives are up there." Crystal says as they hear someone running into the room and see Natsu looking horrified because he saw the two different Erza's fighting one another. Then he noticed Gray as Natsu and Wendy realized the Gray they are talking to is the Earthland Gray. "Hey pardon, am I oblivious? He's half naked already and I could already tell he was our Gray!" He freaked out not noticing he was like that the whole time. "Also Frost thanks for coming to rescue me." Crystal hugged him as she, Natsu, Lucy, and Gray quickly moved towards a different direction making sure not to go into the fight between both Erza's. The five of them went to an amusement park and ran into two Captains known as Sugarboy and Hughes.
Chapter 5; Fairy Tail VS Royal Army Captains
Hughes uses a magic wand to move objects and seemed to crush the Four Fairy Tail members, however Gray covered them with his Ice-make Shield, as both Natsu and Crystal have their eyes set on Hughes and punched him to the ground.
"Are you ready to give our friends back yet?!" Natsu asked, now seriously fired up.
"If not then we'll just take you down!" Crystal says as Hughes uses his wand to move the Roller coaster towards them which they dodged it easily. Though he continues using his magic as Natsu got caught and Crystal used her magic to get out of the way. "Seriously?! You got yourself stuck like that?!" Gray and Lucy were stuck as the floor became like quicksand, so he tossed her to one of rides and then jumped to where Natsu is. "Geez the times where he gets to a place where he can't move. I better help them, Ice Dragon's Wing Attack!" Crystal creates ice cutters timing her aim by destroying the ride and making both Natsu and Lucy fall into water.
"Just imagine if we hadn't turned your friends into a Lacrima one day it would all vanish, don't even want to think about it you know." Hughes tells them.
"So that's the reason you took them away..." Natsu says after catching his breath. "You're gonna sacrifice our friends and destroy the Exceeds. Just so you can keep your little toys around?"
"That about sums it up, their demise will bring our salvation to everlasting magic power." He says.
"Enough of your crap!" Natsu and Crystal say at the same time as she joins up with Natsu and Lucy.
"All of my friends are still alive there, you have no right to take them." Natsu says. "You're worried about losing your magic power, so you're gonna destroy innocent people to get what you want?! We're talking about lives here!" Though Hughes smiled like it's nothing.
"Now, get out of the way! Open Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius! Do your thing!" Lucy says summoning one of her best Spirits that controls water, however Hughes was able to stop the attack and redirect it at them.
They were knocked out as Natsu and Crystal wake up in what appears to be a giant monster school area.
"Where are we? And wait, where is Lucy?! Hey! If you can hear me please say something!" Crystal called out to her and they heard some banging from a coffin on the large table.
"Crystal, is that you?! I'm trapped in this thing! Get me out of here!" Lucy shouted as they jumped down to it and Crystal opened it to see that she suddenly changed in a genie like outfit.
"Uh…" Crystal was dumbfounded and Natsu was giving off an odd look. "Why are you wearing that?" Lucy looked down at herself and freaked out from her exposure. "The transformation actors box, come with us and enjoy the land of fairytales with some fun and exciting transformation that everyone will enjoy." Crystal reads a thing on the side of the box which might be how her outfit got a sudden change.
"Fun and exciting?" Lucy asked.
"Hey, maybe this dial is how you change costumes." Crystal says as Lucy goes back in and Crystal turns the dial randomly which of course the eyes from the skull glowed and once opened Lucy was in a bunny suit, Crystal tried a few more times until Lucy was in a one piece swimsuit holding a tube. Natsu laughed about this as Crystal felt a bit grim about not doing good so Lucy pushed Natsu into the box and made him wear the exact same thing Lucy has on which looked weird from Crystal's eyes. Then Natsu made an idea to have Lucy pose sexy with a bikini top and a long waist skirt with a brown belt holding her pouch with her keys in them. Though it didn't work as Natsu planned, and also he is back in his normal attire. "That didn't work out as planned…" Hughes laughed at his stupid idea of a plan.
"Guess we'll have to do this the old fashioned way!" Natsu declared with Crystal agreeing.
"You wanna go down with me inside my monster academy?! If you both are that ready to take your final breath, I'd be happy to oblige!" He says.
"How kind of you, but don't get cocky we're not ready to check out yet!" Natsu warned him as Hughes controlled a mummy and trapped them in bandages.
"Every monster inside this academy is like a perfect soldier that will follow any order I give them! Pretty sweet huh?" Hughes says having a smug look.
"You'll have to do better than that!" Natsu says as he burns the bandages on him and Crystal froze the ones on her and shattered them. "Fire Dragon's Talon!" Natsu kicked Hughes.
"Ice Dragon's Crystal Fist!" As Crystal punched him a far distance away. Hughes then controlled one of the monsters large to try and crush the two dragon slayers, however their strength allowed them to get out of the mess.
"They're strong enough to beat Frank?!" Hughes asked, surprised how they were able to take down a large opponent. "Come to me now monster army! Defend your master with your lives!" He used his wand and brought all the other monsters to him to face Natsu and Crystal. "Let's see how you two fair when the entire student body wants you in a coffin." The monster walk to the two Dragon Slayers.
"Our turn…" Natsu says suddenly as he surrounds himself with fire and Crystal surrounded in an icy aura, both of them were giving off frightening looks which scared the monsters away. Hughes then noticed from his vision he could see two dragons above the Dragon Slayers.
"A monster! I'm freaking out!" He exclaimed as he dropped his wand.
"Let's do this together Natsu!" Crystal says to him.
"I hear you, the strength with two Dragon Slayers!" Natsu says as they take a stance.
"Dragon Slayer Unison! Freeze Flame Typhoon!" The two of them say at the same time, they launch a twister of Fire and Ice at Hughes and completely destroy the place they are in.
Outside Lucy fought against Byro and was given an extendable whip to fight with since she realized summoning multiple spirits can easily use up a lot of her magic. Once she toppled Octopus Byro down, Natsu and Crystal came out as they punched Hughes with a heavy blow.
"So you think I'm a monster now?! Well you asked for it, you ain't seen nothing yet!" Natsu shouted as both he and Crystal knocked Hughes down along with Byro. Coco was amazed what she saw Lucy, Natsu and Crystal do against the two. Once they calmed down they noticed Byro in his octopus form and also Coco holding onto a large key.
"I hope she's ok." Lucy says as the three of them walk to her.
"Do you know this girl?" Crystal asked Lucy.
"I can't say I really know her." Lucy tells them and Coco was still in pain. "Seriously are you ok?" Coco then held the key to them.
"This key is what he wanted, it'll turn on a machine that will kill all of your friends." She explains to them.
"What'd you say?!" Natsu asked her.
"Are you talking about the thing that's gonna make that huge Lacrima crash into Extalia? But what are you doing running around the castle with it like this?" Lucy asked her.
"They said we could have ever-lasting power, but I decided I wanted ever-lasting peace instead. So please, please help me destroy it for good!" Coco tells them with teary eyes. "I'm begging you…" However before they could do so Sugarboy swiped the Key away from them and he quickly moved onward, although Gray was chasing after him on a magic cycle.
"Listen up you guys, there's no need to worry mister big shot this one's all mine! Everything else is up to you!" Gray tells them continuing his chase after Sugarboy. As he was able to catch up to his target he tried to shatter the key, but then Sugarboy informed him about how the Dragon Chain Cannon would rescue all of Fairy Tail, however Gray got the info he needed and destroyed the key to Sugarboy's surprise. That moment Gray used his Ice-Make 7 Slice dance and defeated his opponent and showed him that he made an ice copy of the very key easily thanks to his Maker Magic.
Meanwhile Erza is still currently clashing with her Edolas counterpart, this might even be one of her greatest fights ever in history. The two were throwing out everything they got at one another.
Up in Extalia Wendy and Carla went up there to warn the Exceeds of King Faust's plan to exterminate their race. The Exceeds thought it was a load of crap and thinking the Queen will just do away with them, however Nadi knew something that the others didn't and has the expression of shock hearing that most of the Exceed Army has turned into a Giant Lacrima. The other Exceeds dissed the two.
Crystal and Natsu got out of their situation and caught up to Gray who explained that if they use the Cannon and aim at the Lacrima it can return everyone to normal. However before they could do so, they looked to notice Edolas Erza walking towards them.
"So I found you, and it seems that you have the key." She says to them.
"Wait! That's Edolas Erza! Does that mean our Erza lost?!" Crystal exclaimed, which the two boys were scared and surprised, she then knocked the trio out cold and brought them to the room where they have the Dragon Chain Cannon machine set. She entered the place dragging the three behind her.
"I've heard you successfully retrieved the Key. Is this true?" King Faust asked her.
"Not entirely your Majesty, it was destroyed." Edolas Erza explained.
"Explain yourself." He demanded wondering what possibly she could have as she tossed Gray forward.
"This one can fabricate a working copy." She tells him.
"And who is this?" He asked.
"He's an Earthland Wizard sir, and a comrade of the Dragon Slayers." She explained.
"Is that so? And is he connected to the Lacrima that vanished from the Plaza?" King Faust asked her which she replied that he did. "Free him, now! And have him produce this key immediately." Erza cuts Gray's ropes as she holds Natsu in her left hand with a sword to his neck and has her foot on Crystal's back.
"Get up Earthland wizard, and don't do anything rash." She warned him and Gray took a look at the machine before him. "You will activate the Dragon Chain Cannon." Gray looked up at it for a bit surprised that something like this could control a cannon filled with Dragon Slayer magic. "Quit stalling." He uses his maker magic to make an ice copy of the key and walks up to the cannon inserting it, causing it to activate now, however he wonders how to control the cannon fire.
"Prepare to fire!" King Faust demanded then suddenly Erza let Natsu go signaling him as Crystal sliced her ropes off.
"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" Natsu attacked the guards as Crystal ran towards Faust grabbing him and tossing him to Erza who has disguising herself as her Edolas counterpart.
"My name is Erza Scarlet, and I'm an Earthland Wizard." She says revealing who she is.
"I got to say you had us fooled, but that plan you came up with was genius." Crystal says complimenting Erza on her plan.
"I want you to aim the cannon directly at the Lacrima!" Erza demanded the soldiers. They didn't want to lose their King, however the timing for Edolas Erza to appear screwed up their plan making Erza let go of King Faust making the soldiers aim the cannon at their original target. The Cannon fires towards the Island attaching it and then Lucy with Frost who found them at the Park after getting lost at one point, and also Coco riding her Legi. They picked up the other four, and they quickly escaped and are now heading up the Chain to the island with the giant Lacrima. Coco has her pet try to push as hard as it can to stop the collision, Natsu even went up to add his strength.
"Frost, let's do this!" Crystal tells him, both him and Happy join in as well as the rest adding their strength to force as much as they can to stop the collision.
"These people can't stop Extalia's destruction!" An Exceed known as Panther Lily yelled at them.
"Don't be so sure! If it's one thing Fairy Tail Wizards prove it's that nothings impossible!" Natsu yelled at him which surprised him to hear that.
Up in Extalia they were witnessing the island of the Giant Lacrima, the Exceeds thought the Queen would use her power to stop the humans of Edolas. However she came out and revealed that she had no such power, but only one to see a specific person's fate to make the humans believe they have the power of a god to make them feared. Carla made a speech to those of Extalia which gave the strength to the Exceeds making them want to help out also, all of them gather and use their strength combined together. With all their strength they were able to stop the collision and the destruction of Extalia, they noticed the Lacrima vanished and moments later the island as well.
Chapter 6; Dragon Slayers VS Droma Anim!
Mystogan arrived to inform them that everything is now alright, however someone struck Panther Lily and they turned to see Edolas Erza along with her own army charging towards them.
"Man she doesn't even quit after all of this!" Crystal says annoyed.
"Let me handle this, I've had enough of your insolence Captain Knightwalker. How dare you point your sword at me, the Royal Prince of Edolas!" Mystogan says to her. Then suddenly Faust's laughter got everyone's attention.
"You the royal prince of Edolas?! Don't make me laugh! You don't deserve the Title because I never thought of you or that girl as my children!" He said.
"Girl? Is he talking about my Edolas counterpart?" Crystal asked.
"You have some nerve, you can't run off for seven years and then suddenly waltz back as if nothing happened! Did you think you can fool me? I know you've been at Earthland sealing all the Anima, you're a traitor and as such you must be punished for your actions!"
"Where is that voice coming from?!" Wendy asked.
"I'm not sure but he sounds pretty mad right now." Crystal assumed.
"Come on! Show yourself bucko!" Natsu yelled out.
"Your Anima plan has failed, please surrender peacefully you've no reason to fight anymore." Mystogan calls out to Faust.
"Ridiculous! Who says I need a reason to fight?!" He asked and they could see a large light coming from some Colosseum ruins. "This is not a simple fight, no. This is retribution! The extermination of all who would dare to oppose their King!" Once the light went out they could see what looks to be a large egg of some kind. "Since you and your meddlesome friends insist on standing in my way I've no choice but to obliterate each and every one of you! Regardless of who you are! I am the King of Edolas! If I dispose of you here and now I'll no longer have to worry about you sealing my Animas on Earthland, I'll be free to create another giant Lacrima and fuse it with the Exceeds! Limitless magic power will be mine!" They could see it broke open and reveal a Dragon Machine. "Try as you might! There is no stopping me! I am the King! My power is Absolute!"
"The Droma Anim, from our old language it means Dragon Knight. It's enhanced dragon armor." Mystogan explains. "Hurry! Fly for your lives!" The Exceeds decided to agree and fly away before they get turned into Lacrima.
"Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy." Crystal said their names and looked at them with a smirk. "Let's do this!" Natsu was already ahead of her as he went down and punched the neck of the Droma Anim. Gajeel used his Iron Club also doing damage.
"Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy blows a twister of wind knocking the Machine away as Crystal uses her Wing Attack damaging the armor.
"You little brats!" Faust yelled at the four Dragon Slayers.
"Pretty impressive job kiddo!" Natsu complimented Wendy.
"Thank you, but I'm sure the three of you can do a lot more damage than I can." Wendy says.
"This is for the Exceeds, you are going down." Crystal warns Faust.
"You're gonna regret hurting my cat." Gajeel says as Faust sees them
"It was you, I should've known." Faust says, realizing who attacked him.
"Let's do this everyone. We will have to show this guy the true power of the Dragon Slayers." Crystal tells them.
"We can settle our score after we're done knocking this old guy's teeth in." Gajeel says ready for a tough battle.
"I'm all fired up now!" Natsu says.
"I would love to see you try!" Faust tells them.
"I'll lend a hand." Wendy says and uses her magic to boost the other three making them lighter on their feet, then giving them defensive power, and enhanced strength. Natsu has a fiery aura, Gajeel having a green aura, and Crystal has an icy aura.
"Whoa, amazing! Is this the power for a Sky Dragon?!" Crystal says surprised as she and the guys charge forth at Faust dodging his attack and moving so fast that he can't even focus on them as they throw many attacks on the Droma Anim. He tried aiming at Wendy though Natsu and Crystal got to her before she was hit by missile attacks. There were two more missiles which exploded, one giving off fire and the other with ice allowing Natsu and Crystal to consume their elements.
"Impossible, they're eating the flames and frost from the Dragon Rider missiles?!" Faust exclaimed then looked behind to see Gajeel eating the metal from the tail. "Is he insane?! Why is he eating the Dorma Anim's Tail?!"
"Man that some seriously nasty tasting fire. Don't think I've ever tasted a flame that gross before." Natsu says after he finished eating up the fire.
"That goes double for that ice, I guess ice even has it's own strange taste." Crystal says and Gajeel spat out a piece of metal.
"The iron too, bad stuff. But even so…" He says.
"I'm starting to feel like I've got a real fire in my belly!" All three of them say at the same time.
"Are you both trying to copy me?!" Natsu asked.
"It was just a coincidence!" Gajeel replied.
"Unbelievable, are all Earthland Wizards this powerful?!" Faust asked in disbelief.
"Man this thing's hardcore. No wonder they call it a dragon." Natsu says impressed.
"That ain't a dragon, it's just a dumb old man hiding inside a bunch of junk." Gajeel says.
"He's out here alone without any of his guards to protect him, so all we have to do is take that thing down." Wendy assumed.
"It'll be a pile of junk after we're finished with it." Crystal says ready for more action.
"I'm all fired up now." Natsu says and then suddenly something strange was happening to the armor making it black steel.
"I shall rob you of the will to fight! You'll be begging me for mercy, witness the power of Dorma Anim; Black Heaven!" Faust shouted. "I've got you now!" He then attacks smacking Natsu away, which then he jumps at Faust and he throws a punch. "You'll have to do better than that!" He throws him off like the attack was nothing.
"He hit that thing with his Arms attack and it didn't even flinch!" Gajeel says not expecting the sudden turn of events upon them.
"Can you feel it?! This Absolute magic power?! It's spectacular, don't bother falling to your knees begging for your lives! Stay right where you are! So I can watch you tremble in fear! You can't stop me! I'm the one dragon you can not slay!" Faust exclaimed as he swung the sword which launched a powerful energy wave at the others which knocked them and Natsu down. "You're pathetic, you don't stand a chance at winning!"
"Everyone in this world has suffered because there's no magic power. I'd like to know why their crazy King seems to have more than his fair share of it!" Natsu demanded.
"You'd find it hard to believe to find a king that hasn't placed a tax on his people. That's how monarchy works my boy! The Dorma Anim requires a constant supply of magic power so it's gathered from all over the world! That's why it was sealed away, it's a forbidden weapon! Now that I activated it the fate of this world depends on my victory!" Faust said.
"What a load of crap! From what I can see you don't give a damn care about the world, you are only doing this for your selfish desires! You aren't a King, you're a Tyrant!" Crystal shouted once she stood up on her feet.
"One of the reasons I joined Fairy Tail was so I could help others! To be honest I could care less what happens to your stupid world. But I do care about everyone that lives here!" Natsu says with his fists on fire. "So I'm about to kick your butt for them!"
"Can't you see you're just wasting your energy?! There's no defeating me in my Dorma Anim! I have complete control over the magic power of this world! Therefore I have the right to use it however I please!" Faust fires another blast at the four.
"You should share it with your people instead of hogging it all for yourself you greedy geezer!" Gajeel shouts at him.
"If you think you're indestructible then I got news for ya! You and that phoney dragon of yours are about to go down!" Natsu warns him.
"We will stand back up no matter how many times you knock us down!" Crystal said determined to win. The four Dragon Slayers continue their fight with Faust as it had become a struggling fight for the four of them.
"Earthland wizards are a fortunate lot indeed, they possess unimaginable power because they are born within an eternal spring of magic. Then there are the Dragon Slayers, your power surpasses even the most obscured concept of limitation! That power… will belong to me, with it I can replenish this world's supply." Faust says as he laughs seeing the four Dragon Slayers seeming to be down for the count. "It appears you couldn't live up to your name slayer. As long as I possess the Dorma Anim, I am god my army will path an impenetrable path of conquest in both worlds! I will rein supreme!" The four wouldn't allow him to do so, they try getting back up again. "I see, there's some fight left in you! Your power is truly remarkable, but I shall savor every ounce of it! Prepare yourselves Dragon Slayers!" He launches another attack on them doing more damage to them. It seemed like it was over for them as Faust was gaining more power from Edolas.
"Salamander, you gotta roar! Same with you two!" Gajeel says to them.
"All of us at the same time?" Wendy asked.
"There's no sense holding back, we gotta take down this walking scrap heap! Are you ready?!" Gajeel tells them as he gets back onto his feet as do the others.
"Fire Dragon's.../ Ice Dragon's.../ Iron Dragon's.../ Sky Dragon's…" The four of them take deep breaths. "ROAR!" And at the same time they blow their element right at Faust causing a massive explosion.
"We got him…" Gajeel said quietly and they smiled, however it was short as they heard Faust laugh.
"Up there!" Natsu tells them and high above they see the Dorma Anim so high in the sky possibly maybe in the depths of space.
"How did something so large be able to jump to that height?!" Crystal asked completely surprised.
"Oh no, our 4 on 1 attack didn't even touch him!" Wendy assumed after realizing that Faust dodged the attack.
"Then we'll try again!" Natsu exclaimed as the Dorma Anim launched cannon blasts at them, doing a heavy amount of damage on them.
"For the world! For my beloved Edolas! You worms couldn't possibly understand our plight! You have an abundance of the one thing we desire most! The citizens of Edolas have no use for Guilds, they would serve no purpose here! What they need is ever-lasting magic power, and I'm determined to give it to my people! I want them to experience the bliss you Earthlanders have kept for yourselves!" Faust exclaimed while the other four are at the point having to have used up all of their magic. "You may be powerful wizards but I imagine it takes time for you to recover the magic power you've exhausted! If you wish to surrender, this is your chance! Agree to supply my world with magic power then I will compensate you accordingly!"
"Don't you dare give up!" Natsu told the others. "No! This fight ain't over! What're you waiting for?! Hit me with your best shot! Do it! I'm standing right here!" Faust tried crushing him with a foot, but Natsu still had more fight in him and pushed him off. "Don't ever underestimate the Dragon Slayers! Got it?!"
"You need to learn your place, you piece of filth!" Faust fired a blast. I am the King of Edolas! Bow down before me!"
"You're the one whose gonna learn your place old man!" Gajeel says coming down from the sky. "Because… in the end, you'll be on your knees!" He smashes into the foot of the Droma Anim using his Iron Dragon Slayer strength to hold him down and Crystal does the same to the other foot using her Ice Dragon Slayer power to freeze the foot. "I locked your foot, pull that jumping crap again and you might lose it!"
"Curse you!" Faust yelled out at the two.
"Give it all you got Natsu! You're our only hope for this!" Crystal shouted to him as he is currently falling down close to Wendy.
"Wendy! Roar at me with everything you got!" He tells her. "Just do it, hurry!"
"Sky Dragon's…" She takes another deep breath. "ROAR!" And blows another twister of wind and sends Natsu flying straight at the Droma Anim!
"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu boosts himself at high speed and he blasts right through the chest of the machine and he even pulls Faust out of it! This also caused the Droma Anim to explode from the massive damage Natsu did to it. Faust was then suddenly in fright seeing the four Dragon Slayers, and above them were their dragon Parents from Faust's vision, Grandeeney the Sky Dragon, Glacies the Ice Dragon, Metalicana the Iron Dragon, and finally Igneel the Fire Dragon. The very vision was too much for Faust and he passed out from fear.
The battle was finally over however something strange was happening as Wendy could see the floating islands fall and are crashing to the ground, then streams of energy were flowing upward to the skies, the magic power was returning to Earthland.
Chapter 7; Returning to Earthland!
As it seemed like it was over for Edolas the Dragon Slayers were making their way towards the city until they met with the Exceed Nadi who explained some things he had overheard from Mystogan and PantherLily, then Natsu made a plan to show that Mystogan or Edolas Jellal should take over as being the prince of Edolas. Natsu, Crystal, Gajeel, and Wendy played the part of being villains and saying they were the ones stealing Edolas' magic. Their acting brought Edolas Jellal out and Natsu taunted him to fight which brought him towards the action so Mystogan and Natsu started fighting, Crystal even joined in to make it harder and to make sure he would take two down to make the people believe in who he is.
"This is it buddy, I'm gonna give you a real Fairy Tail send off." Natsu says to him. "Since you're leaving Fairy Tail, you gotta swear to follow these three rules. Number 1, never ever share sensitive information about Fairy Tail with anyone as long as you live!" Natsu throws some punches at Mystogan.
"Number 2, you must never contact past clients you may have worked with while in the guild, for your own personal gain!" Crystal said joining in the fray then Mystogan blocked both of them and started fighting seriously.
"And Number 3! Although our paths must stray, you gotta promise to live the rest of your life to the fullest!" Natsu said, then he gets slammed on the head by Mystogan and he kicks Crystal knocking her down to the ground. "That means you gotta treat everyday, like it was gonna be your last day in this world. Don't forget the friends you loved."
"You must treasure them for as long as you live." Mystogan finished and he throwed the final punch at Natsu making him fall to the ground.
"When a Guild works together, there's nothing they can't do…" Natsu says as he falls to the ground. "Nice knowing you pal, later." This made the people cheer for the Prince's victory. Then the Earthland wizards and Exceeds were glowing, this signalled that they are now returning to Earthland. Once everyone has passed through the reverse Anima it has finally closed up.
After all of that we finally returned home to Earthland, it was sad to never see Edolas again. I had an interesting adventure there, I have always wondered to myself who I was, when I met my Edolas self she seemed slightly similar though she was once royalty, does that make me Royalty somehow? There are many questions I still want answered. We also learned that the Queen explained why they sent 100 Exceeds to Earthland was to protect them from Extalia's sudden destruction as she can see into the future. At some points Carla secretly told Frost these things and had him promise not to tell me, but that was cleared up as he realized the errors of keeping secrets. Also it seemed like an extra came with us, but apparently the story behind it was Lisanna never died 2 years ago. At one point it looked like she died but the Earthland version was transported through the Anima into Edolas. In which once we brought her back, Mirajane and Elfman were so happy to see their sister alive, also the Exceeds were brought into our world and decided to find a place to make a new home for them, also Gajeel got his own Exceed like the three of us, that being Pantherlily.
However the next battle will be against the Second Guild of the Baram Alliance, Grimoire Heart.

There you have it, the Edolas story is now done! I gotta say it was pretty tricky doing this Arc with all of the counterparts of everyone else, however I hope you enjoyed this one everyone. Next will be the Invasion of Grimoire Heart as it will be a war on the sacred land of Fairy Tail, get fired up as there will be some interesting points coming up! Also I have a poll asking about giving Crystal a love interest, this will only last until Next Arc has been uploaded.
