Yeah Gabriel came into the story, and Serafall being her usual self doesn't want anything to do with Gabriel. Gabriel's name seems to be spreading. It seems that he can have Serafall do certain things. Rias and Akeno had a small bonding moment between the two of them yeah~ He does, they're the best of partners. Zephyrdor's got stuff going on, that's all I can say about that. Haruki can see right through Diodora, knowing there's something very off about him. Akeno would do yeah. Vali's got something's for Haruki. Serafall's very eager. Sona's rather smart, she can see it. He did yeah, he managed to hand Kuroka's attacks. It seems that she has~ I'm sure Naberius will do. Elmenhilde will have something that makes her unique. We'll see what happens with Lavinia. She probably is in canon yeah. That could be a nickname for him. Yeah, when no one else can see it, he can still. She will be in a peerage one day. Azazel is the leader, and if he has enough faith in his sons capabilities, then I don't see why not. He probably did just spend his time complaining. Haruki's feelings will come through when he sees Baraqiel again. He might come out with something like that. He might end up fighting his Father.

We do yeah, Akeno's feelings are complex, Rias is trying to help her, and make her feel less worry about Haruki. Thanks for the votes. Not really, either way Irina's in the harem. She wouldn't blame Haruki for Xenovia leaving the Church. As I said, Irina and Haruki's relationship will blossom as the story goes on. It wouldn't matter if two Vampires are in the peerage, there's two Neko's, if their power sets are different, or they have something that makes them unique. You improve if you do things for a good long while, practice makes it better. Depends if the story fits that type of character or not. He'll be of normal height.
Anime PJ; This might be going easy...but there's some stuff going on behind the scenes that complicates things slightly. Kuroka has yeah, she's learned that she can rely on others, by being able to identify with someone with similar thoughts. Thanks for the votes! Valerie's power is massively OP, she could do a lot of things with her Longinus. It would've made sense if she did make her a Rook in canon. Lint does need some development yeah~

Haruki will help Asia in the coming chapters~ Diodora...yeah, he's going to be going through some stuff~

Guest 7; If I did a Black Clover story, not sure what he'd be, if he would have a mixed heritage or not. Depends what kind of story I'd be telling and how it would play into that characters history and personality, things like that. I don't know what kind of powers they'd have, maybe those powers, depends if it would fit or not. The age will be around Asta's, either 15, or a little older, again haven't decided yet. I probably will do a replacement story for both of them one day. Yes, it would take them out of the story, but it also would be fun as a writer to take their powers in different ways and different backgrounds, circumstances with a different kind of protagonist, it can be rather interesting to explore different aspects like that, that wouldn't be possible without having those powers, it doesn't take away anything from the main characters in their respective series. Maybe he could look like that. That form would be pretty cool. It would depend on the story on what squad he'd be on. Those characters could be either, again would depend on the type of story. He has more male friends than that. I don't know if I'd do a poll for the magic, would depend on a number of things.

Valtryek-sama; Thanks! Yeah, they had good moments together. It seems that he can at least have her agree to go out with her. At least, he can have his King do stuff if he thinks it's a good thing, like with Gabriel. Yeah, he got through to Kuroka in the end, and managed to make her stop. Naberius will be going through some stuff this arc. Haruki will wield some kind of weapon, and even without a weapon, he could still use the Knights speed a variety of ways. Yeah, maybe it could be like that. He'll be a main cast of Serafall's show. I've got some fun ways the Fallen Angel incident will go down, the same with Kokabiel. For Rensuke, probably. RWBY, probably not for the first story. I probably will put that on the poll. Thanks for the votes.

Well with those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Naberius' downfall!
Ten minutes after what happened with Kuroka, Serafall finally came back, and was listening to what was being said by the young girl. Everything that she knew about Naberius, what he had her do for him to keep Shirone safe, and other things.
As she spoke, she kept looking towards Haruki for reassurance.
He gave her that reassurance by giving her a soft smile.
Kuroka was able to tell Serafall everything that she knew, and it only made Serafall even angrier than ever before.
"...That's horrible Kuroka-chan, I'm sorry that you had to go through something like that."
Serafall said with a sorrowful expression.
Kuroka was stunned that she was acting like that.
But she was glad that she did, and listened as Serafall continued.
"We just have to make sure that Shirone-chan and Kuroka-chan here aren't involved with Naberius any longer, and with every second that passes, the more it could involve them. It might be difficult to discern how he's going to move, but we should be able to do it in one fell swoop. We should be ready within the hour, I'm contacting the others as we speak."
Kuroka fiddled with her fingers.
"I didn't think it would get this far…but, I have to go back for Shirone. There's no telling what he'd do if I'm even late a little bit. He should be expecting me back soon nyaaa. Considering that I came here a little while ago..."
Haruki could understand that.
Serafall could see that the neko wished to go and save her little sister.
"Wait Kuroka-chan, don't be hasty..."
"I don't have much choice. If he's with Shirone now...I have to go!"
Kuroka shot up, and rushed for the door.
However, before she could get out, a wall of ice came between them, stopping Kuroka in her tracks.
"Nyaaa…?" She looked back to see the ice doll had been summoned, and blocked her path. "Princess-chan! Don't block me! I have to go back and protect Shirone nyaa! If he sees something is wrong then he might try and do something to Shirone nyaaa!"
Kuroka was worried.
It was a natural reaction to have.
Though Haruki didn't want her to have to worry so much, so he stood up.
"Serafall-san, I'll be accompanying Kuroka-san back to the Naberius estate. If there is any kind of surprise, then I'll help her along. Please go to the labs and finish off the creatures there, or make sure that whatever information there is secured."
"Haru-chan wait..."
Serafall called but Haruki simply smiled.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine. This is just getting Shirone-chan and then getting out. That's all."
Serafall didn't like it.
But she also trusted in Haruki.
She knew he'd be able to take down Naberius.
And she had a few things she needed to do also.
So that's what she was going to do.
However, she wouldn't let him do it alone.
"Haru-chan, I'll have some guards go with you."
"Alright, then we'll go quickly."
Serafall stuck out her tongue.
"Naturally~"
"Also, Vali-chan is going to be there."
"Fufufu, it seems that Haru-chan's developed a relationship with this Vali? But it is alright, I don't mind at all since I want Haru-chan to be happy and have good relationships with some cute girls too~"
"Haha, she's definitely an adorable girl~"
Kuroka looked between them.
She couldn't work out why Devils would be willing to help her this much.
But she was thankful all the same, and was going to do her best to show her gratitude by showing a cat like smile.
"Honestly, Fallen Angel-chan, you're very odd~ But, it seems that you aren't so bad after all~"
"I can be naughty if you want, Kuroka-san~?"
Kuroka lightly blushed at the suggestive tone.
She then shivered as the ice doll looked towards her with a curious gaze.
But she was still glad that he was there for her, and would make her and Shirone feel safe from now on.
Nearing half an hour later, Haruki stationed himself near the Naberius estate, and waited for Kuroka. They didn't want to tip their hat so quickly to Naberius, since he right now was near Shirone, and if they were discovered before being able to keep her safe, then it could end up being disastrous for them.
Kuroka went in by herself, ready to call in the others if anything was to happen next.
Kuroka walked towards the area, and wishing to see her sister again, to make sure that she's okay.
As she walked, she felt something...wasn't right.
She didn't know exactly what it was, but the feeling couldn't be denied, it felt very off putting.
As she made to the place she sensed Naberius, she walked in to see that Shirone was trapped behind some kind of barrier.
"Shirone!"
She cried, and went to move, when Naberius stepped out from the shadows, his hand laced with demonic power. He went to shoot Kuroka with it, when she placed her hand up, gathering her own power.
"Stop right there Kuroka. Tell me, is he gone?"
Shirone looked towards her sister, not sure what he meant by that.
"...Onee-sama? Is who gone?"
Kuroka held a guilty look on her face.
"Don't worry about it Shirone, it's alright."
"...What is he talking about though?"
She continued to look worried about what could happen.
"Shirone...please, don't worry about it."
Naberius was getting more and more angered by the moment, and ended up snapping at Kuroka who glared back.
"Kuroka. Is he deceased?"
Shirone looked even more perplexed.
What he was saying didn't sound great to Shirone.
Someone had been killed…
She didn't want to believe it was who she thought it could be.
"...Is who deceased?"
Kuroka couldn't face her little sister.
It was difficult for her to do it.
"Shirone...please...it's okay..."
When hearing her elder sister say such things, it brought confusion to her mind.
Kuroka's eyes locked onto Naberius.
"Why do you have Shirone trapped behind that barrier?"
"I didn't know if you were going to go through with killing that Fallen Angel. Did you murder him? Because if you didn't...that barrier will kill Shirone."
Kuroka's eyes flared at Naberius.
"Leave her out of this Naberius!"
"You forced my hand, if you didn't have such a conscience, then I wouldn't have to use these methods. So tell me, did you end his life? And if you did...I want to see proof of you doing so. Otherwise, you'll have Shirone's death on your shoulders."
Kuroka tightened her hand.
Looking to her little sister, she could see that Shirone looked heartbroken.
Even fearing Kuroka.
Because of what Naberius said, if Haruki was dead, and she had killed him…
Kuroka exhaled slowly.
"Leave Shirone alone, she's an innocent girl nyaaa."
"That doesn't concern me. I realized a while ago your power was growing more and more. To the point that I'd be seriously killed if I didn't make sure that I'd be safe. So, I'll be having that answer now, or this barrier will explode, taking out Shirone."
Kuroka raised her hand and went to activate her magic…
But then she saw that there were seals around the barrier itself.
She couldn't make a move without it exploding.
"One little move, and it detonates."
"You cruel sadistic bastard!"
Naberius blinked, seeing that Kuroka was glaring on.
"...You have refused to answer...so, I can only conclude you didn't. So why didn't you kill him?"
Kuroka, with no hesitation, spoke up.
"He cares about Shirone nyaa. He wants to make her happy, and give her a better life...so in the end, I couldn't kill him. Someone that would help Shirone...I didn't think nice people like that existed. So, I'll be using my power to take you down."
Shirone was relieved that Kuroka hadn't harmed Haruki.
She had grown to care about Haruki quite a bit.
She wished that he was there though.
She knew he'd be able to help somehow...
Naberius chortled.
"And what about the barrier? Do you want Shirone to be killed?"
"No, of course not. But, I'm not stupid either."
Naberius cocked his head.
"What does that mean?"
Kuroka snapped her fingers, and unleashed some kind of energy out of the window.
Naberius raised an eyebrow at that, and within moments…
He felt a cold chill.
He didn't know what it was until he saw the barrier that Shirone had around her, froze solid, as well as the room. The floor, the walls, the ceiling, all of it froze. Even he began to freeze from the ice that was being summoned.
"T-This ice! It has to be...that damn Longinus!"
"Yeah that's right!"
Haruki came smashing through the window, ice doll following, and then used his Holy Lightning to break through the frozen barrier. Even the spell that was used had froze so it couldn't do anything to Shirone.
Kuroka's eyes went towards the despairing looking Naberius.
"As I said, did you think I was stupid? I brought some back up. You can't control me anymore."
Naberius' eyes began to show his true fear.
The look on his face, the eyes that matched the despair shown, Kuroka thought that it was rather cathartic in what has happened until that point.
Haruki turned his attention to the barrier that was no longer in danger of exploding.
Breaking through the barrier, he stepped inside, and offered his hand.
"My cute Koneko-chan, lets get you out of there, okay?"
Shirone, with some tears in her eyes, jumped into Haruki's arms, and nuzzled against his face, and he did the same thing back to her.
Kuroka was immensely relieved, and turned her eyes towards Naberius who was continuously being frozen without being able to get out of it.
Kuroka though shot an orb of Senjutsu forward, hitting him squarely in the chest, blasting him out of the ice, surprising Haruki, but then he saw the look in her eyes, she needed to do this.
"Haruki-chan, take care of Shirone for me. I've got some trash to deal with."
Haruki merely bowed his head, with a small blush on his cheeks as Kuroka jumped out to beat Naberius.
"It seems your Onee-sama is angry...how exciting~"
His more sadistic side showed itself briefly, seeing a woman kicking ass was something Haruki immensely enjoyed.
Shirone who was hugging onto Haruki, peered into his eyes.
"Haruki-san...did Onee-sama...did she hurt you?"
"Why would you think she did?"
Haruki's question brought Shirone back to the thoughts she had a few minutes ago.
"Onee-sama...she was sent to kill you...by Naberius...so, did she try and kill you?"
He could see that Shirone wasn't sure.
It was only natural that she'd feel like that in this troubling time due to what Naberius had seemingly said in front of her.
Haruki adopted a light smile.
"Don't worry, Kuroka-sans heart wasn't in it, she didn't hurt me."
"Still...I'm sorry...Haruki-san. That you...had to get involved..."
Haruki shook his head, and gently patted her head.
"Don't worry about that Koneko-chan, I'll make sure you're okay. Both you and your naughty Onee-sama. I've always wanted to have some cute kittens to play with~ Now I get two adorable ones to keep safe~"
Shirone's head fell against Haruki's chest.
Her cheeks turned slightly red as he continued to hug her.
Haruki then directed his hand to the guards.
"Please secure all information here that Naberius has. I'll be going outside to make sure that Kuroka-san is okay, and that Naberius is to be safely secured." The Devils didn't move for a moment and seemed as if they weren't going to follow Haruki's request, so Haruki smiled wickedly. "Maybe I should contact Serafall-san..."
""No please! We'll do what you want!""
Haruki chuckled.
"Ufufu, that naughty Maou has quite the scary touch when it comes to these guards~" Haruki extended his Fallen Angel wings, then saw that Shirone reached her hand out, and lightly brushed her fingers across his wings. "Something wrong, Koneko-chan?"
"No...but your feathers...they're like midnight...everlasting midnight...I like them."
"Is that so? Then you can touch my wings all you want~"
Haruki flapped his wings, then shot into the air, flying out to meet Kuroka.
Kuroka herself, landing before Naberius, watched as he scrambled to his feet. He gathered demonic power, and turned his hand towards her, only for her to deflect the power with her own, before shooting him down with her Senjutsu.
Smashing him deep into the ground, Naberius cried out in pain.
He felt the pain of Kuroka's blast so hard that he had tears within his eyes.
"I guess this would be justice, wouldn't it nyaa?"
Kuroka's words stung Naberius.
He coated his hand in fire magic, and launched himself at Kuroka.
Swinging for her face, Kuroka raised her hand coated in Senjutsu, blocking off the intense power that was coming for her. The flames and Senjutsu clashed, and created a wave of their respective powers, but Kuroka pushed more and more of her power into the attack.
Sending it all at Naberius, an explosion erupted around Naberius, particularly his arm, and caused him to bleed, and also slam into the ground once more. His blood leaked on the ground, staining the grass with said blood.
"Aah...my arm..."
"That's just for starters."
Kuroka's words made Naberius feel worry entering him.
His eyes caught the sight of Haruki and Shirone coming down with the ice doll.
Naberius' eyes glared towards Kuroka.
"Before you met me, you were nothing! Nothing but strays! Now you turn on me?!"
"We might have been strays, but you didn't have to take advantage of us like that nyaa! We aren't your slaves! We aren't your subjects! And you threatened Shirone...no one gets away with that in front of me. I'll show you the real meaning of pain!"
Kuroka waved her fingers before her, summoning more of her Senjutsu to fire down at Naberius.
Naberius made a sour expression, pulling himself to his feet, and created many blocks of power within the air. All of them demonic energy focused. Haruki watched carefully as Naberius fired them off towards Kuroka.
"I hope you die then! This is the thanks I get for taking you in!"
"No, the only thing you ever did for us was bring us here so we can meet Haruki-chan!"
Kuroka allowed barriers around her form, blocking off the multitude of attacks that were coming for her.
Naberius was stunned, but tried to make some of the demonic waves curve around her, and stab her from behind.
But Kuroka had also placed barriers behind her, protecting herself entirely from the onslaught of attacks.
Kuroka then shot her fingers forward, and caused the ground below Naberius to become like quick sand. Sucking him into it, the Devil was stunned for a few moments, and then he tried to move...but the pull was too much.
The quick sand like mud was stopping his moments.
"S-Shit! Get this stuff off of me!"
He fired off demonic power to blast the mud away.
But it didn't work.
The mud continued to sink him lower and lower.
"Kuroka! Stop this immediately!"
"Not until you are gone!"
Haruki watched as Naberius desperately tried to get out of the mud, but it proved to be futile.
The mud sunk him deeper into it.
Covering his legs, his waist, then his upper body.
Naberius tried to claw his way out of the mud, but his fingers and hands soon got stuck. He couldn't move at all, even when he fired waves of demonic power, it barely did anything to the mud at all. In fact, it seemed to increase the speed that it sucked him down.
"KUROKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! YOU BITCH!"
He cursed her, hoping maybe he could make her slip, and perhaps he'd be able to escape somehow.
But Kuroka didn't care, and simply stared at him as he sank into the mud.
With his cries being muffled by the mud, Kuroka inhaled and exhaled slowly, before summoning some of her Senjutsu around her. Forcing them together, she created a wheel of Senjutsu power, and allowed it to spin rapidly around her.
"This will force him to remember those he had hurt."
Shirone laid her head on Haruki's shoulder, and didn't watch.
Haruki lightly petted the back of her head in a comforting manner as Kuroka aimed for the mud pit…
However, as she was going to unleash her attack, something massive came out of the ground, and brought Naberius along with it.
It was a huge creature that had thick legs, thick arms and a thick chest. It seemed to be an amalgamation of different creatures, Haruki could see Devil, and some Youkai within it, even some other creatures that couldn't be classed as Youkai as well.
The large creature had the face of a lion, and it roared down towards Kuroka, who gasped, and thrusted her large wheel towards it. But the lion released an incredible amount of demonic power, blasting Kuroka's wheel out of the air, and continued for her body.
"Princess! Freeze it!"
Haruki commanded, and she stuck out her hand, creating a thick wave of ice which began freezing.
Just before it could reach Kuroka, the wave of demonic power froze in mid air, then shattered as Haruki blasted Holy Lightning through it. The Holy Lightning continued, and slammed deeply into the body of the creature.
The intense power was able to break through the body of the creature, piercing the right hand side of the upper body. The creature felt the lightning spreading through it, and though it was holy power, Haruki noticed that it was regenerating at a good rate, faster than the one he fought last time.
"Like that Fallen Angel? It seems that my creation can take your lightning!"
The creature summoned demonic energy around it, and then fired off massive waves towards the trio.
Kuroka jumped back, summoning barriers to block off the high density shot of power, allowing the girls and boy to remain safe from the first volley, but Kuroka saw that her barrier shattered upon being hit by the power.
"Damn it, that power is stronger than I had realized…!"
Kuroka growled.
Haruki stepped forward, and he created defensive magic circles, as well as creating thick walls of ice to block off the wild attacks. Colliding together, Haruki felt the aftershock of one attack, and flung him to the ground, while the ice doll managed to stop another volley of demonic power coming towards them.
"...Haruki-san, are you okay?"
Haruki nodded at Shirone, getting off the floor to see that the creature was coming back for them.
"Holy Lightning!"
Haruki shot forward a massive bolt of holy electricity.
The lightning and demonic power collided with one another, exploding upon impact but Haruki saw more and more coming.
It was producing the demonic power at such a rate that Haruki and Kuroka both weren't sure how they were going to handle it.
At the same time, Serafall and some elite Devils were beginning the raid on the place that Naberius had planted his creatures. Serafall also came across Vali, who Haruki had explained a bit about before, and now seeing her, Serafall gained a cheery smile.
"So you're the girl that my Haru-chan has talked about?"
"Hmph, I'm merely here because I was promised some strong battles."
"Ooh my, so you and Haru-chan bond over fighting strong opponents, is that it? That's alright, I'm sure you'll also find my Haru-chan adorable! Would you cuddle Haru-chan if you had the chance?! I know that I would want to do it!"
Vali shuddered.
Seeing that Serafall was so hyperactive, it was rather troublesome for her.
"Either way, it's time for us to go in! Everyone, stick behind me!"
Serafall used her magic to not so subtly break through the door, while also using her power to freeze in case any kind of trap was to reveal itself.
She stepped inside, and walked forward.
It was a long corridor, lights surrounded the area.
Serafall's ice also coated the area, along with some creatures that seemed to have been activated when the door was blasted through. Thankfully, Serafall's ice had frozen them already, so they didn't have to worry.
"Not bad, it seems that you're rather strong. A good thing for a Maou such as yourself."
Vali said with a raised eyebrow.
Serafall giggled sweetly.
"Yup, I'm a Maou girl! Strong and very capable! I'll even have to use my super glittering powers to erase these enemies out of existence! Let me show you my capabilities! It is going to be so amazing for me to do it!"
Vali rolled her eyes.
"Still, I'd like to take care of some enemies. I was promised some time to fight."
Serafall merely waved her hands up and down.
"Alright, no worries~ Haru-chan already told me you were super into fighting~"
Vali didn't deny it, and just watched on.
Serafall looked around the area once more, down the long winding corridors, and through the area, before issuing some orders.
"Secure this area immediately! Search through every corridor, leave no stone unturned!"
[Yes Ma'am!]
The Devils announced to Serafall, who walked forward.
She went through the corridors, and saw that there were a few branching paths together with Vali.
She didn't mind at all though.
She continued moving through the area, and saw some more creatures coming for her.
"It's time to freeze~"
Serafall went to use her ice, when Vali sprung into action.
Serafall blinked as wings of light erupted out, and Vali punched each of the creatures, her Sacred Gear activating [Divide!] and halved their power, as she unleashed demonic power into their bodies, crushing them until they died.
Serafall looked bewildered by what was going on.
"Geez, you're the Hakuryuukou huh!"
"So, you know more than your general demeanour suggests."
Vali noted, with Serafall sticking out her tongue.
"I am a Maou you know? I have to know these things on sight!"
"Still, you could be a bit more serious."
"You could be a bit less serious~"
She countered, Vali sighed deeply.
"Lets just get this over with."
"Hehe, Vali-chan you are so cute~ Don't worry about things like that~ Lets just go through this, and make sure that he disappears also."
Vali sighed even more, while some more creatures showed themselves.
They weren't weak by any means.
Vali sensed at least middle class Devil power coming from them which was stronger than she expected.
"Good, more opponents. Haruki, he did fulfil his promise on some enemies for me to fight after all."
Vali was excited, and charged forward, and used her skills to deal with them, all while having a smile on her face.
Serafall also saw some coming towards her, so she turned her wand towards them.
"Now, it's time for me, the Maou-chan to glitter! Be gone!"
She giggled, and unleashed her ice, freezing the creatures then blasted them with demonic power, breaking them completely.
They then continued on to make sure that they found what they needed to find.
Back with Haruki and the others, the Fallen Angel boy could see that the waves of attacks weren't a joke, and were ready to crush them within moments. Haruki knew that if they kept coming, then they wouldn't be able to break through.
He even noticed that around the estate, that some barrier was preventing the guards from coming to assist them, so it was down to them to finish this creature, and make sure that Naberius was stopped for his crimes.
Haruki placed his hand to the ice doll, and passed his power towards her.
"Princess, it's time to freeze."
The ice doll did what she had been asked, creating ice around her. More than that, she sent out a wave of cold which spread further and further. Using Haruki's power along with her own, the ice was able to freeze the area within moments.
Ice even sprung up around the feet of the creature and began freezing it to the ground.
Naberius looked on with worry, and saw the ice, so he tapped the creature on the head.
"Lift up your leg, and break through it!"
The creature did as asked, and used incredible strength to shatter the ice growing around it.
But the ice also had another purpose.
It froze the demonic power that was being launched.
Locking the area within ice, Kuroka was stunned at the frozen wonderland that was around them.
"Looking at this ice nyaa….how beautiful~"
Kuroka sang out, as the frozen demonic power was shattered, Haruki blasting through it with Holy Lightning as the Princess of ice created pillars of ice to attack the creature from all sides.
The ice pillars rose up at a good speed, so the creature shot off massive waves of demonic power, and only cancelled one another out.
Naberius was stunned to see that the creature wasn't winning against the ice.
It couldn't win against the ice.
It could only stalemate at best.
And then Haruki's Holy Lightning was an issue.
It came at him again and again. The creature barely could combat that as well as the ice. Its focus was split, and both attacks were causing damage as time went on.
"Come on, use your power more! Unleash it!"
Naberius yelled loudly.
"It doesn't have any will of its own, Naberius is making it unleash power...without it, it would only act on basic instincts I'm guessing..."
Haruki noticed within his mind.
It had power, but lack of battle experience made it slow to move, had to take orders from Naberius who he himself didn't have much battle experience either, so the creature was trying to fight, and just power through.
But it seemed to not be able to fully do that.
Haruki then turned to Kuroka who gave a bewildered look.
"Though it seems to have power Kuroka-san, it can't think for itself. It takes orders from Naberius directly..."
Kuroka smirked.
"I see nyaa. Give me a straight shot at him, and I'll make this creature docile."
Haruki nodded, and spread his arms.
The ice doll followed, and ice began to spread as did Holy Lightning.
Firing the shots of ice and Holy Lightning at the creature, it shot off its power back towards Haruki.
The powers collided, and blended together, Naberius could feel the hairs on the back of his neck standing up, he didn't like this feeling in the slightest.
Haruki's ice began to spread further, as Haruki caused his Holy Lightning to become like whips, and wrapped around the arms of the creature. Because it was mostly Devil, the Holy Lightning was burning the creature where the lightning whips where.
"W-What are you doing?! Break out of his lightning immediately!"
Naberius snapped at the creature, that tried to do that…
Only to reveal it couldn't move its arms.
They became numb, as ice spread across the area the lightning whips held it down. Fusing the ice deep within the body, it was freezing it from the inside out, the Holy Lightning giving it a perfect entry for where the creature couldn't even regenerate quickly because of the holy aspect of Haruki's power.
The ice spread inside of the creature, and it was beginning to not be able to move.
Naberius became worried, and tried to activate some kind of spell, using the creatures power as a medium for him, drawing more and more power out of the creature, and began enhancing himself...
"Nyaaa, don't think so~"
But Kuroka, using this shot, and with Haruki pausing the movements of the creature, allowed her to blast Naberius to the ground. Hitting his body, he shook from the inside, and out from the intense power that Kuroka used.
Smashing him deeply into the ground, Naberius screamed in pain, as blood shot out of his body.
Seeing that, Haruki watched as the creature became...less responsive.
Despite the ice continuing to spread, it didn't really respond beyond moving ever so slightly.
"N-No! I wont be losing here!"
Naberius became scared, and tried to get towards the creature, when Kuroka moved her fingers, and caused a barrier to erupt around Naberius, trapping him within said barrier.
"Ararara, you wont be going anywhere you naughty beast~"
Naberius gave her a glare, and shot his power forward.
But he didn't get very far, the barrier didn't move at all.
"Thanks Kuroka-san, now this beast...will freeze."
Upon seeing that, Haruki managed to get the creatures body inside frozen.
Thanks for Kuroka stopping the puppet master that was Naberius, the creature didn't have any mind to try and break free. The ice froze from the inside out, leaving it motionless, allowing Haruki to gather more and more power within his hands.
Extending it up and beyond, Haruki took aim at the creatures body.
"Ara, now it's time to shatter, you naughty Beast-kun~"
Haruki unleashed his massive electricity attack, and overcame the large creature.
Because it couldn't move due to being froze, it had to take all of the attack.
It couldn't even regenerate thanks to Haruki freezing it, and it was erased out of existence by Haruki's power.
Kuroka watched with glee, Shirone was rather happy, and Naberius was fully despairing at the sight before him.
"No...it can't be..."
Haruki, panting from using his strongest attack, turned to Naberius.
"Face it, it's really over this time. You can't worm your way out of this, Naberius."
Naberius began to fall into despair.
He was frightened right now.
Haruki, and Kuroka, were very powerful monsters in his eyes.
"Longinus...Holy Lightning...I wish I had found you first, I would have loved to have destroyed your body and harvested the power you hold. Even now, the waves of power make me feel so happy, I want it...I want your power!"
Haruki chortled.
"Fufu, asking for my power, and not even giving me any presents~? How rude~"
Kuroka snorted as Naberius' eyebrows narrowed.
"I am superior to you!"
"If you were superior, why are you in your current predicament?"
Naberius scowled towards Haruki, as Kuroka overlooked him.
"What do we do with this...bastard?"
"Fufu, I think we could punish him a little bit~"
Haruki suggested, Kuroka grinned.
"Ooh yeah, I like that nyaaa~ For trying to harm Shirone, I'll have to get even more happy with Naberius and make him feel despair that can't even be compared to what he's feeling right now nyaaa~"
Naberius felt fear coming for him.
He was deadly scared of the people before him.
"Y-You can't do this to me! I am...I am superior, and better...I worked so damn hard to get this far! I can't let you take that away from me now!"
"I don't know what you're babbling about, but the fact that you endangered these girls, who didn't have anywhere to go...taking advantage of them really does piss me off." As he said it, Holy Lightning spread around him, and caused Naberius' face to turn white with fear. "Now it's your turn to feel how they did for a change. Alone, frightened, not sure what their lives would become. Living like you have until now really shows your disgusting sides. You had the power to make real changes to others lives. Instead, you take advantage of innocents and even turn others into creatures for your own gain. You had the knowledge to do such horrendous shit, you could have used that intelligence to benefit others you asshole!"
Haruki shot his Holy Lightning at Naberius, Kuroka dropped the barrier, and allowed the Holy Lightning to wrap around Naberius.
His eyes shed tears as blood leaked out of his body.
Flinging him up into the air, then down into the ground, smashing him deeply into the earth, he cried out in pain.
Kuroka smiled lightly, seeing how angry Haruki was...it showed that he cared.
He cared about her, and her sister.
Shirone also felt the waves of emotion from Haruki, and how he did want to make others lives better.
She really did like that mentality.
"Y-You bastard! I'll kill you for this!"
"Fufu, then I can't stop just yet Naberius-kun~ The pain you caused your victims, needs to be paid back!"
Holy Lightning wrapped around Naberius once more, and shocked him to the point he couldn't contain his voice, and he let it out wildly, screaming at the feeling of the power erupting inside of him, and he fell to the floor in absolute pain.
After a few minutes, Naberius laid on the floor, nearly lifeless with the pain he felt, Haruki exhaled slowly.
"Now that felt good~ Kuroka-san, want to get in on it?"
Kuroka snickered.
"You are one wild boy, I was getting excitement from seeing you punish Naberius nyaaa~"
Naberius panted slowly, his body felt as if he was going to shut off.
But he wouldn't give up.
Not yet.
He wouldn't die.
Haruki noticed that something began to glow…
In Naberius' weakened hand, it seemed that he had some kind of magic circle.
It spread down into the garden.
The gardens glow went towards Naberius, and spread out around him in a circle.
"Shit!"
Haruki widened his eyes, knowing what he was doing, and rushed forward as did Kuroka and Shirone, trying to stop him.
But as they got there, the light wrapped around them all, and teleported them all away.
Back with Vali and Serafall, they continued through the halls, defeating creatures that showed themselves, until they found a room.
Using her power, Serafall blasted the door down, and stepped inside together with Vali.
But when they did, they came across large monsters surrounding them.
All in large tubes filled with some weird liquid, it looked out of some sci-fi movie, a monster movie as well. Vali could sense the power coming from the creatures, and grimaced.
"...These things are tougher than the ones from before."
"So this is Naberius' secrets. He's been making monsters...more than he had shown. What is he planning to do with these…?"
"An invasion perhaps."
Vali tossed out as a possibility.
Serafall could understand why Vali would go towards that.
"Though these creatures currently aren't up to scratch when it comes to stronger Devils. I can sense High Class in here, and some weak Ultimate Class also. I could take all of these out at once, so they aren't Maou level. So he couldn't be close to an invasion just yet."
Vali hummed as she looked around the area.
"Maybe he's testing something, perhaps he wants to find ways to create stronger monsters. For invasion purposes, to simply create them since he's a mad genius or something like that. Whatever his reasons are, we should take these creatures down as quickly as we can, so they can't hurt anyone around here."
Serafall showed a slight grin on her face.
However, before she could start, she saw some glow on the floor.
She backed off as did Vali, and watched as Haruki and the others were teleported there.
"Haru-chan!"
Serafall expressed joyfully.
Haruki turned, and smiled gently.
"Serafall-san, so we came here...must've been his last ditch effort, but we were swept up with him."
Naberius, with his frail eyes, became worried about what was going on.
Seeing Serafall stood there, he was immensely shocked.
"W-Why is she here?!"
"You have some life in you yet? More durable than I thought~"
Haruki chortled out, as Serafall gave a cheerful wink.
"Because we have been investigating you, that's why! But these creatures here, they are a little dangerous~?"
Serafall's words made Naberius despair even more.
Seeing her there...he knew it would be over if he didn't have one last move.
"I WONT LET A BITCH MAOU GET IN MY WAY!"
Naberius let out a large roar, and slammed his hand downwards.
As he did, the magic circle spread out and landed upon the capsules holding the creatures.
Haruki grimaced, and grabbed both Kuroka, and Shirone, and pulled back as Vali did also.
Serafall stayed still though, and watched as the creatures began to be released.
Naberius began laughing in a deranged manner, and stared harshly towards Serafall.
"You bitch, and your Fallen Angel pet...ruining my life like this...I'll never forgive you! I'll make sure you die! Can even you defeat all of these Serafall Leviathan?! You are nothing compared to me! A person that sympathizes with other races! Devils are the most superior! That's why I'll make a Devil beyond normal! A Super Devil!"
"Super...Devil...so, that's what he's trying to do..."
Vali murmured as Haruki noticed something.
Serafall looked as if she was going to murder Naberius.
An aura gathered around her, ice spread out around her.
It was stronger than what he could currently do.
He could feel the waves of rage coming from Serafall.
"...Did you...just call my Haru-chan a pet…?"
Haruki raised an eyebrow, as Naberius blinked several times.
"W-What?!"
"No one says that about my Haru-chan! Also, what you've done...these poor innocent people died...because you wanted power...? Gaining power this way is meaningless...you might be a Devil, but you're an embarrassment to what Devils should be. Now, watch as your creatures vanish from this world...and allow the poor souls you kidnapped, and killed...to finally rest!"
She roared.
The creatures came towards Serafall, and she just stared them down.
She showed no fear, Haruki shivered in excitement to see Serafall's anger.
"Celsius Cross Trigger!"
Haruki watched as the land itself was converted into a world of ice.
Freezing everything in the area, Haruki was impressed. The creatures that Naberius released couldn't even fight it, the ice spread across their bodies, and through them, converting them into ice statues themselves.
Even when they fought, they couldn't do a thing against her.
They couldn't get through.
Haruki saw that she froze up to at least 15 strong creatures that had killer instincts.
She then waved her hand, and caused them shatter like glass into many tiny pieces, Naberius' face became full of horror.
He was very frightening right now, and he couldn't do anything.
He even began shedding tears he was that frightened.
"My work...ruined...my life...ruined...because of you!" He yelled at Kuroka who scowled. "If I didn't take you in, then I would have been able to continue my research! I would have built the strongest Devil! It would have been under my control! You wouldn't have been able to do a single thing against me! You will always be a stray Kuroka! You are going to be thrown away because you're nothing! Nekoshou's will end with you!"
Haruki scowled, and went to say something…
When Shirone stepped forward.
"No...Onee-sama is a something, she is a someone. We might be strays...but, we have a home with Haruki-san!"
Kuroka smiled.
Placing a hand to her chest, Kuroka nodded slowly.
"Yes, you're right nyaaa. We have a home with Haruki-chan now."
Naberius' hands quaked.
He didn't want to go to prison.
He didn't want anything to happen to him.
He became so frightened that he was losing his mind.
So in the end, he allowed his magic to spread around him, and created a pattern across his body.
Haruki noticed it, and turned to Serafall.
"I saw that pattern on the dome with Shirone-chan, he's going to detonate. I don't think we can stop it without killing him either. I had to freeze the barrier to the point that it stopped functioning as a barrier."
"So, we should kill him then...alright, I'll-"
"Please...let me." Kuroka began, stepping forward. "My request...this person has ruined a lot of peoples lives, but he has been making me be his puppet for so long...I don't want to be his puppet anymore, I want to...show him that I am strong and will survive without him."
Serafall paused, then nodded, seeing how serious Kuroka was.
"Right, I'll leave it to you."
Kuroka thanked Serafall, and stepped forward.
She moved to the side of Naberius as more and more power built around him.
"Kuroka...you will die here and now you horrible cat."
Kuroka didn't bat an eyelid at the killing intent that he was releasing.
Instead, he was showing Kuroka exactly how he was.
A coward that didn't have any other reason to exist other than hurt others, or use them for his own gain.
She really did hate people like him.
"Naberius nyaa. I do hate you, I hate what you made me do...I hate what you tried to do with Shirone...but, I do have to thank you." Kuroka's words brought confusion to Naberius. "You allowed us to meet Haruki-chan. I tried my best to stop him from helping us. I even attacked him and yet...he still didn't turn me away..." Kuroka began crying happy tears while Shirone hugged Haruki from his right hand side. "...He was...kind and Shirone likes him...I also like him too. So thank you Naberius, for bringing us to the Underworld. But, your disgusting ways...I truly did hate, and you...you are an evil Devil. I've seen kind Devils...and you aren't one of them, so goodbye."
Naberius became even more frightened.
He no longer had any hold on anyone.
He felt pathetic, he felt as if he wouldn't be able to achieve his dreams and goals anymore.
That he'd be reduced to nothing without accomplishing what he wished for.
"KUROKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
Kuroka dealt the final blow as he screamed.
She used some Senjutsu and blasted him through the chest, ending his life.
The spell that he used to try and detonate also became quiet and Haruki, along with Serafall froze his corpse just in case something was to happen.
Haruki walked to Kuroka's side, bending down towards the girl, then gently pulled her into a hug, together with Shirone.
Kuroka looked at him with wet eyes, but a smile on her face.
Despite all of the hardships she had...she finally could relax, a feeling Haruki knew all too well.
However, there was something that Haruki was thinking about, and Serafall saw it on his face, so she pulled him to the side.
"Haru-chan, I know that expression on your face, what is it?"
"...We've stopped Naberius...but I have to wonder, all of this couldn't have been cheaply made, and Naberius isn't the most wealthy of Devils. So...how did he afford all of this?"
Serafall pursed her lips.
"...That's a good question. Do you think he had like...sponsors or something like that?"
Haruki furrowed his brows.
"I can't prove this...but it would make the most sense. Naberius couldn't have done this on his own..."
Though Haruki did have an idea on who might have helped, he didn't have any proof as of yet.
"Well, if you're saying it Haru-chan then I'll believe you."
Serafall smiled, knowing that even now, Haruki was doing his best so others suffered.
But, it did make her wonder if he was right, and who would have been helping.
Naberius died without even mentioning he had help, so it showed whatever relationship he had with his benefactors, at least from Naberius' side, he didn't give up anything and didn't betray the people that could be helping.
Still, that made it all the more worrying for someone like Serafall, if Naberius was that loyal...
But she chose to believe in Haruki's thoughts, and watched on quietly together with the half Fallen Angel.
Sometime passed, and as they were finishing off the search around the labs, Haruki noticed that Vali was taking off.
Catching up with her, he called out to her to stop her.
"I couldn't have done it without you, Vali-chan."
Vali paused, and turned her eyes towards him.
"Is that so?"
"It is yes, you helped me quite a bit."
Vali adopted a slight smirk on her face.
"I've studied you a bit since we first met, did you know?" Haruki shrugged. "I learned a good deal about you, and saw the power that you've displayed. As you told me about Suou Himejima, I researched it more and more, and found out how you managed to even evade their forces for so long. I was rather impressed."
Haruki adopted a light smile.
"It isn't anything to be impressed by, it's just something that I had to do, that's all."
"Still, it was enough for me to understand certain things about you. I'll definitely be interested to see your future progress. And though you aren't the Sekiryuutei, I do believe I've found a worthy challenge for my Longinus."
"Fufu, Vali-chan. I can hardly wait to challenge you again. When reaching Balance Breaker, and beyond."
"Then I'll be waiting." Vali went to turn, when she paused, and exhaled slowly. "...By the way, I spoke to your Otou-san."
"...Is that so? What did he say?"
"When I told him that we had met, and you had a Longinus, he said nothing."
"I'm not surprised."
Haruki murmured, Vali continued.
"However, while I'm not the best at...understanding people, Azazel told me that Baraqiel hides how he feels in front of others. I don't know if he cared or not..."
"It doesn't matter if he does or not. I have Onee-sama, I'm making a new life for myself now. If he wants to be apart of that, then I want to understand everything about him, and his feelings, his thoughts on that night Kaa-chan died, and the events afterwards. He has to make the first move with me, I'm not chasing after him. I'm living my own life, it's his choice if he wishes to be apart of it, and I can't say if I would accept him into my life again. I need to understand certain things about him before deciding on my feelings. Though right now...Baraqiel hasn't made a move to contact us...so, my feelings are more negative than positive."
Vali chortled.
She could quite understand his thoughts on the matter.
"Then, see you later, Haruki."
Haruki smiled as Vali walked off.
As she disappeared, he began chortling.
"I know you were listening Serafall-san."
Serafall sheepishly came out from behind a pillar, and rubbed the back of her head.
"Hehe, can't hide it from you, Haru-chan~ So, you're willing to see your Otou-san?"
"I'm willing to hear his explanation, and see if it is genuine, or bullshit, and see where we go from there. Onee-sama, despises him, I haven't made up my mind yet, though as I said, my feelings are more negative since he hasn't tried to contact us, despite now knowing where we are. As I said before Onee-sama was found, I want to understand more, but if he doesn't ever approach me...then that's fine. I'll not feel regret. The doors open for him, but if he doesn't take the chance to step through it to be with us and give me an explanation on his actions...then I'll be okay. And I'll be there for Onee-sama. I'll protect her...I couldn't save Kaa-chan...but I'll not let anyone else suffer like we did."
Serafall lightly smiled towards the young boy.
"Haru-chan...you really are someone that I admire."
Haruki blinked.
"You...admire me?"
"That's right, I do admire you Haru-chan. I can see that it must be difficult for you to not understand your Otou-chan's feelings, yet you are willing to move forward regardless of anything that happens. It's why Haru-chan, I'd really like it, if you did join my peerage."
Haruki was stunned by what she said.
Join…her peerage.
She had offered in jest before, but this sounded serious.
"You want me to join your peerage huh..."
"That's right, seeing your strength Haru-chan...not just your power, but your heart as well. The kindness and dedication to those neko girls...seeing how you came here for Vali-chan and even when confronted with thoughts of your Otou-san, and Suou Himejima, two figures in your life that must be hard to think about...you think logically, and are honest in saying you don't know how to feel about him yet, though are leaning towards negative, which in your circumstance, I'd understand perfectly. I really do find that admirable for someone so young. And someone I think that would be perfect beside me, as my adorable Queen."
"Your Queen...the second in command of a Maou's peerage?"
Serafall showed a peace sign.
"That's right~ I think the Queen would be best for you. But, it would be your choice, Haru-chan."
"I see...can I have sometime to think about it? So I can make the choice while thinking about my future?"
Serafall grinned at his request.
"Fufu, I thought you'd say that Haru-chan~ Yes, take all the time you need, because the offer wont ever go away. I'd not want anyone else, other than you to be my adorable Queen. I've been searching for my Queen for so long, looking for the perfect person for me. Many have offered, but none felt right to me. Until I came across you. You...you're so different to anyone I've ever met. Your strong will, your compassion for others, and your loyalty to those who you believe in. Everything about you Haru-chan is what I've been looking for. Someone, I truly can rely on, and who in turn, I'd be someone that they could rely on. I think that suits us perfectly, don't you think, Haru-chan?"
Haruki felt his cheeks burning at her words.
It almost sounded like a confession of sorts to him at least.
But that kind of offer, it truly would be something that would change his life, and he had to make the right decision, for his life, and what goals he wanted.
Later on, Haruki sat down together with Shirone, Kuroka, while Ravel and Rias sat close by, watching Akeno talk to Haruki, and kept moving between worry, and praising the boy for what he did for the two neko's, and ended up just hugging him into her chest.
They were waiting for Serafall to deal with the finer details, what they had found and what they could do for the future for the neko girls.
"It seems that you've saved those girls, it makes me proud to be your Onee-sama."
"Hehe, I tried my best Onee-sama~"
As he said, Kuroka let out a small cry.
"Ravel-chan!"
"Y-Yes?"
Ravel answered nervously, Kuroka walked over, and smiled.
"I heard how hard you worked for us also, thank you Ravel-chan~"
Ravel blushed lightly, scratching her cheek.
"T-That's not a problem~"
"In return, I'll help you in learning seduction techniques, you know for Haruki-chan here~"
"Pft!"
Ravel did a spit take, Haruki furrowed his brows as Kuroka giggled.
"I can see why you've got a thing for Haruki-chan. He's pretty handsome, has a Longinus, Holy Lightning, pretty strong, seems to have a relationship with the Hakuryuukou and can seemingly stop a Maou from becoming too hyper, and based on what Sona-chan's said, can make her do things like talk with Gabriel of the Heaven, a feat no one else has ever accomplished before, so I've decided that my future children need that kind of power~ Plus they'd be adorable ass kicking sadists!"
Haruki gave her a curious look as Kuroka sang happily.
Rias looked bewildered as Ravel stared at Shirone.
"...Why are you staring at me?"
Shirone asked, Ravel looked down to see that Shirone was holding Haruki's hand.
"You haven't let go for such a long time."
"...It's only natural, since I am going to stay with Haruki-san also...even if Haruki-san became a Devil...I'd follow Haruki-san." Shirone allowed a small but cute smile to appear on her face. "...Onee-sama isn't the only one...that became...happy with Haruki-san."
Ravel pouted.
"W-Well, I'm also happy with Haruki-sama! It is only natural that I would want Haruki-sama also!"
"Ara, did you say you want my Otouto?"
Akeno grinned, Ravel became embarrassed, and buried her face in her hands, murmuring "Please don't look at me." sheepishly, while Haruki gave her a light smile, finding her quite cute when she became embarrassed.
Akeno then turned to Rias, and pulled her closer.
"Fufu, Rias. Do you want to get in on the action too? Do you want to play with Haruki?"
"P-Play?"
She murmured, Akeno nodded with a teasing smile.
"Yes, play with him. He's really handsome, don't you think? For you, who is affectionate since you're a Gremory, and also someone that loves Japanese culture, Haruki would be perfect, wouldn't he? Since he's also Japanese, and likes affection~"
Rias blushed up a storm as she briefly thought about being affectionate with Haruki.
Her mind even delved into the thoughts of Haruki lightly punishing her, before she gasped at her own thoughts.
Soon afterwards, Sona came walking by together with Serafall. Hugging her little sister from behind, Sona didn't look happy.
In fact, she looked as if she wanted to run away from this situation.
But, Serafall instead looked towards Haruki and the others.
"After a little back and forth with those old dudes in there, it seems that Kuroka-chan and Shirone-chan here shall be spending their time with us Haru-chan~ Though there were some old dudes that weren't pleased with Naberius' death...probably some that were close with the clan."
Sona looked mildly embarrassed as Serafall waved her hand up and down with a strong expression on her face.
"I see...so, they get to stay with us. That's a relief."
Serafall nodded.
"Yes, that's right~ I've decided to personally take them in~ Haru-chan, you take care of them, okay?"
Haruki nods slowly.
"Yes, leave it to me. I'll take care of these girls~"
Kuroka shuddered, wondering how exactly he was going to be taking care of them.
Shirone though was happy, and hugged onto Haruki.
Even sitting on his lap, something Ravel noticed, and didn't look happy about.
Haruki was glad that everything ended relatively well.
The girls were safe, Naberius was dead…
But there was something inside that he didn't like at all.
It was the fact that things like what happened with Kuroka and Shirone...still happened.
He didn't like it one bit.
Still, for the moment, he was rather happy that the girls were going to becoming home with him. He'd make sure that they were safe, and sound. No matter what else was going to happen, he'd give them a new happy existence now.
Meanwhile, Zephyrdor walked into a private area, one that was far away from the Devils land, his eyes laid upon what he had managed to save before the Devils had uncovered within the lab Naberius was in.
He had heard the news of what had happened, and had heard about Haruki's growing success, and how there were people in the Underworld accepting that he was in the Devils Faction...
But Zephyrdor couldn't.
He was a Fallen Angel in Zephyrdor's eyes, he wasn't deserving to be in the Devils Faction.
In fact, he hated that he was, and hated that a Fallen Angel like him was getting the recognition that he wanted to have.
"That bastard ruined my plans...if he hadn't of interferred...then I could've gained more power...Naberius also died while having some of the more promising experiments die also...damn bastard, he should've ignored those damn Neko's..now that Haruki is going to be getting praise from the Underworld...not if I have anything to say about it..."
With Haruki putting a stop to Naberius, he had ruined Zephyrdor's plans.
He was going to go a different way.
His eyes looked upon the creatures he had saved.
Strong, powerful, and filled to the brim with demonic power.
"For the moment...I'll have to keep you hidden. Until I need you...then that Haruki is going to go down...I wont let a Fallen Angel take the glory that rightly belongs to me. For the moment, I'll have to lay low... Good thing I've won over your benefactors Naberius, now they'll keep supplying me with money, and I'll continue this...Haruki Himejima, you will one day die...and I can't wait to see it, no scummy Fallen Angels has any right to be in the land of Devils. Until then Haruki...enjoy your life...because I'll be the one who ends it..."
Zephyrdor's eyes showed his discontent for what Haruki had done.
But he wouldn't give up until Haruki was dead.
And with him now having the backing of people that had supported Naberius within the Underworld, however small or large that group was didn't matter to Zephyrdor, he was going to one day accomplish his goal.
End chapter!
So the confrontation with Naberius happened! He tried to take Shirone captive, but Haruki and the others swiftly dealt with that. Serafall, and some trusted guards along with even Vali helped raid Naberius' hideout, and Serafall showed her power by destroying all of the creatures that were kept there. Kuroka even finished off Naberius, allowing her to get revenge against the man that had caused her and her sister a lot of pain.
After the events, Haruki's now going to have the Neko sisters live with him, though he remains suspicious about how Naberius was able to do this by himself, and his theory was proven correct, even if he doesn't fully know yet. Zephyrdor showed his true colours, but with Haruki stopping him from doing that, his hate has grown for him, while also gaining the backing of Naberius previous benefactors, though it seems that he'll have to lay low for now, since Haruki believes that there could be others involved, so we'll see where that goes.
