Words That Confess My Love

"The WHOLE school is invited to my family's ultra dance party, which is also my 100th birthday." Xyla said.

"I can't believe your 100."

"Your so cool!"

Many girls liked Xyla's style of life being a vampire.

But it really was all her parents who had the style. She just spread the rumors and fame of them along saying it's also hers.

"So, how long are you going to keep all this up?"

Laito was smirking as he saw the girls around Xyla.

"Ah, well, I guess you and your brothers can come, if you want to." She said rolling her eyes.

"Why thank you. But I'm afraid we have another matter to deal with." He said.

Xyla wrinkled up her nose knowing who it was really about. That human girl, Yui.

Ever since she came in the picture, it's been hard for anyone to get those boys attention. All six of them. But Xyla didn't care about them as much.

She saw him walking by and smiled skipping her way over there. "Hey Kou. Here is a VIP invite to my family's party. Just for you, and your brothers of course." She added.

"Why thank you. But I'm busy. Ruki has gotten those true vamp boys so mad. He took their blood." He laughed.

But Xyla didn't laugh. She knew it meant Yui, being human, which didn't please her at all. Still, she smiled it off. "Alright. But if your free, come by. It's all night long." She said and walked away from him.

Her face sour and angry with the idea of that human in the same house as those boys. It made her sick.

Of course, Alica said not to tell her parents as she is eventually to become a vampire, but that was awhile back when she thought Yui wouldn't even be herself anymore.

Now, everything is so messed up.

As she came home, she needed to talk to someone.

"Figured you be in here. I heard about Laito and Kou." Rikona and Kira appeared in her room.

"I'm glad at least someone cares." She sighed. "How can any of them see me and how perfect I am, if all they care about is...that...HUMAN GIRL?!" She shouted.

"Keep your voice down. Your parents and mine will have our heads as well as those boys if we tell about Yui."

"Your using her name? Rikona. What happened to you?" Xyla asked.

"I had lunch with her. I didn't know it was her till I looked down at who was sitting at my feet on the roof." Rikona said. "She actually hates being with all these vampires." She added.

Xyla smiled a little. "Than, why don't I have her come over also? That way, other vampires can smell her, and it won't be our fault if she dies." Xyla said.

"Do you think anyone would be happy about that?" Kira asked.

"You aren't a real vampire! Don't try and-"

"Kou isn't a real one either." Kina said.

"She's right. Would Kou really care if you turned "eve" into a dead girl?"

"Eve? You've got to be kidding me. That stuff is nothing but that vampires crazy thoughts. I mean, who believes that this girl is going to bring peace to the world?" Xyla asked.

"I didn't say that. But If you want Kou, find a way to tell him, compare yourself to Yui, and see what he says. Change, or talk to Yui. She's actually not as happy as she seems to be." Rikona said.

Xyla nodded and had to think of a way to get Kou to be hers.

Next day, it was before the party and school was as boring as usual.

"Ah! Yui." Xyla flinched saying her name. "I was looking for you, mind if we head to the roof and have a chat real quick?" She asked. But didn't wait for Yui to answer.

"What is this about?" Yui asked. They both were missing a class so, Xyla didn't care if her ears were about to burst from the loud ringing bell. "Look. I want to talk to you, about the boys." She said.

"What about them?" Yui asked seeming more shy and fearful than usual.

"I just want to...know..." Xyla was seeing her face and it seemed very much full of fear. Rikona only talked to her without facing her, but now, facing her, she seemed very scared of her life.

"I'm not going to hurt you if that's what you think. Kou wouldn't like me if I did." Xyla sighed placing her fingers over her nose as if she was stressed.

"Kou? Oh. Well, I mean he's nice. Him and the other one...Yuma." She said.

"Why are you so scared? I can see it and if I wanted to, I'd taste it in your blood." Xyla said not impressed with her words.

"Oh." She only said.

"If Ruki is doing something...just tell him to stop. I mean you have a mind of your own." Xyla said.

"That's...the thing. I feel like I don't." She said.

Xyla didn't understand why Yui was feeling like this. "Your supposed to be eve."

"I don't want to be eve! I just want to be left alone!" Yui shouted.

Xyla was shocked with her words. She really was unhappy being here. But, worse, being with Ruki and his brothers.

"I see. So, you don't want to...why are you even here? Why not kill yourself than?" Xyla asks.

"I want to live. But not like this." Yui started to cry.

Xyla never seen anyone cry before. Vampires hardly cry whatsoever. So seeing Yui, a human, cry or crying in general for the first time.

"I..." Xyla didn't know what to do.

"What's going on out here?" Ruki came up with Yuma and Kou.

"Sorry." Yui said.

"What's going on here Xyla?" Kou asked.

"It's my fault. I wanted to talk to her about..." She had to come up with something fast... "About how she could come to my party. I mean sure my parents...But I just wanted to make sure, you all could make it." She said quickly.

The three stood there staring at her than at Yui.

"Really? Than-"

"Wonderful!" Kou said cutting Ruki off. "If Yui comes with us, we don't have to worry about Ayato or the others trying anything." He said. "Plus, they won't expect her to be at a vampire party. Nore expose her in front of a huge crowd like that to be a human." He explained as he stood next to Yui.

Yuma and Ruki looked each other and Ruki left. Not with a happy look on his face.

"Nice going. Kou, you better be right on her heels for Ruki and her sake." He said pointing to Yui.

As he left, Kou turned to Xyla. "I'm so sorry. All I wanted was...I was trying to make...nice, with her. Rikona seems to like her, I was just..." Xyla really was a mess.

Kou only smiled. "Thanks. At least she's alive. And you too." He added.

He took off the roof leaving the girls alone.

"You like Kou?" Yui asked.

"Well, yeah." Xyla couldn't hide it from the human who she nearly got killed. Ruki wasn't...the best of the four.

"I want to tell him how I feel so badly, but it's hard cause, he only focuses on you." She said.

"You should talk to him about it. I'm sure he'll listen if you give him a good reason. Like I do when I'm down. Him and Yuma are like that." Yui said.

With that, Xyla walked Yui to class and was quiet for the rest of the day.

Later at the party...

"Xyla! Who do we have here?" Her father asks.

"My friends. Kou, Yuma, Ruki, Azusa, and Yui. From school. I wanted to have them come as my VIP guests for the party." She said.

She really wanted Kou, but she'd have to play nice, for now.

The End
