A/N: Heyo. I'm sick and tired of school so I am writing to escape. ;) Anyway I don't own Fablehaven. Never have and sadly never will. Enjoy.

The next morning Kendra got up and got ready for the day. When she walked down stairs everyone was eating breakfast. She sat down before anyone realized she got there on her own.

"Kendra when did you get your strength back?" Seth stammered.

"Late last night." Kendra replied.

"Well kiddo that means we can finally leave this preserve." Warren stated.

Everyone voiced there plans. Everyone except Bracken. Bracken stayed silent the entire time. Kendra decided to talk to him mentally.

Hey, what's wrong?

Nothing really. It's just I've come to the realization that I have to kill both my uncle and cousin.

You don't have to kill either. We can find a way to save both of them.

Really?

Yes, we can. Now let's join the others in packing our stuff.

Warren, Vanessa, and Seth had already walked upstairs. Kendra grabbed Brackens hand and took him upstairs to the rooms. They all packed fairly quickly. Aaron Stone was called. He said He would be there in a few hours. So they lounged around for a bit telling stories.

Warren told of his mission to the inverted tower. The first attempt.

"I was given an assignment by the captain to retrieve the artifact from Fablehaven. I only told a few people including Dale and your grandparents." He pointed to Kendra and Seth. "When I was given the key I was off with Hugo. I told no one where I was going but soon found this would be a mistake. At the time Hugo had no free will. He simply did what he was told. When we got to the grove Hugo was unable to enter. So he set me down and left. I entered alone. Another mistake. I found it to be very cold. Soon I couldn't feel my limbs or think straight. I was completely frozen. That's all I remember. What felt like only days later I saw the most blinding light. I later found out that was Kendra. And then Kendra and I entered and got the artifact. The End." Warren said. "I dare anyone to beat that."

"Okay," Kendra said. "This is the story of how I became Fairykind." Bracken's interest seemed to peek. "It was on a Festival night. Seth and I's first festival night. We were preparing to hunker down in the attic. Grandpa had put fairy pumpkins outside our windows so nothing would come near them. But it should be noted that Seth had angered the fairies a week earlier. When the fairies figured out who they were guardian they left. We were left defenseless in the attic. Seth then heard a baby start to cry. He couldn't sit there and let a baby cry so he opened the window and let the creature in. We were protected by the lines of salt around our beds but Grandpa, Dale, and Lena weren't. Grandpa and Lena were captured. Dale was turned to lead. We found out soon after that our Grandma was turned into a chicken. When we cured her we set a witch free. The witch who's name is Muriel left to free a demon."

Seth interrupted. "Hey umm can you speed this up to the interesting parts. Please."

"Okay, umm. Grandma, Seth and I went to the forgotten chapel. When we entered Muriel was there loosening knots. She sent her giant imps after us. They grabbed Seth and Grandma. I hadn't broken the treaty in any way so they couldn't touch me. I ran. But I didn't really know where to run to. So I ran to the closest place I knew was safe. I ran to the pond. I didn't really know what I would do but I thought the Queen might help. So I took a little peddle boat and peddled. The naiads gave me trouble for most of the trip there. Near the end they stopped. So I paddled all the way to shore. Once I was on shore the naiads giggled and I saw my boat being taken away. I knew there was no turning back so I continued on. When I found the shrine I started talking to it. I felt strange but remembered my family and started crying. She told me she understood and would weep with me. Her tears filled the bowl. She told me to fill the bowl with tears, milk, and blood. I already had the tears so I went to collect Viola's milk."

Seth giggled as he remembered how we got the milk. Kendra continued on with her story.

"Then the last ingredient was blood. I had no idea whos blood was needed so I pricked my thumb and stabbed at Viola. Once the elixir was complete I took it to the fairies, not really sure what to do with it. When I got to the yard I found a few fairies but all were unwilling to taste it. So I tasted it. One fairy copied my action. She became a six foot tall fairy. Soon others joined in and I had an army. I took them all to the Forgotten chapel. We saved my family and cured Dale. After this the fairies shared there magic with me to save my life. And that's that."

'Wait," Bracken said. "You became fairykind by accident?"

"Ya pretty much." Kendra replied.

"You truly are amazing."

Seth interrupted. "Hey guys who wants to hear my story?"

"Sure. What's your story?" Bracken asked.

"How I got Vasilis." Seth answered.

Everyone but Vanessa showed interest. When asked why she responded, "I was there when he got it. I already know the story."

"I was given direction by the Singing Sisters to go to the Totem Wall. It was a really strange place I had to talk to Four of the Totem heads."

"Which ones?" Warren asked.

"You know I honestly forgot. Anyway. When I spoke to them I offered to destroy all the undead inside them. They said that wasn't good enough. Many had died trying. They want something in case I die. So they took my sword, shield, my onyx tower, and my agate leviathan. When I got inside an old wizard dude told me I was worthy. But on the downside I had to kill him and all the zombie dudes. I had already promised the wall so I did. Though it made me kinda sad. When I left I took my stuff back and ya."

"That wasn't a very good explanation." Kendra told him.

"Well ya I shortened mine because yours was so long."

They all laughed at that.

"Who's next?" Warren asked.

No one answered.

"Oh come on. Do I need to volunteer somebody?" Warren threatened.

Bracken laughed. "That would be great, but Aaron is hear." Bracken replied.

So everyone gathered their things and got onto the plane. Heading to Fablehaven to plan yet another death defying mission.

A/N: Sorry guys. I admit this was kinda a filler chapter. Hope you liked it all the same. I've been kinda busy and all I want is to get at least one chapter out a week. I also want to try and attempt Fictober so I'm trying here. Anyway, special thanks to Yakall and NaoSa for your steller reviews. Honestly the reviews are what are keeping me writing this story. No pressure. XD Jk. Poll for this week is Fall or Spring? I'm biased and love spring because that's when my birthday is. But fall is here and I couldn't be happier. Hope you all enjoyed. Bye. :)
