Chapter 8.
Hey everyone. Back with another chapter.
This chapter will see reinforcements being brought in, and will see Carnage in action. It will also have flashbacks showing how the Heroes were recruited, and feature a cameo from a special character.

Power of Magic: Thanks for the review. I agree with you, but Ross isn't exactly known for smart decisions. After all, he did create Abomination and we all know how that turned out. Wait and see in this chapter for that. Enjoy the chapter.
Chapter 8- Reinforcements and rescues.
Crowe groaned in pain as her powers continued being drained. She was near dead at this point, as her powers were connected to her life-force.
"How much longer?" Ross asked as he and Batroc entered the lab on the other side of Central City.
"Not much." Batroc replied.
"Good. I have unleashed the secret weapon now, and no one can stop it." Ross said.
"I know. This will be fun to watch." Batroc smirked.
STAR Labs, same time.
Cisco was dragged out of the Pipeline and hauled in front of the soldiers.
"You will die now. We have no more use for you." The leader said.
"But first lock the facility down", another ordered.
"Never", Cisco refused.
"No need", a technician said, "I can do it."
"But first let me kill you." The leader said, aiming his rifle.
Before he could pull the trigger, a red and blue blur slammed into him, sending him crashing to a wall, knocking him out.
It was Supergirl!
Another threw a dart at her, although a Batarang deflected it.
It went into the hand of Nightwing.
Another soldier roared in rage and tried to attack, but a punch sent him flying off.
Before he could get up, Danvers punched him out.
Another tried to attack but a gauntlet covered hand stopped him. It was Slade Wilson!
Slade dodged a hit and punched the soldier out.
Danvers then rammed into multiple soldiers, knocking them out.
"Come on!" Nightwing urged as he helped Cisco to his feet.
"We already have others working to get Caitlin and Felicity out of the Pipeline." Danvers informed him.
"Thank you." Cisco said gratefully.
In another hallway, two soldiers were walking around when two women jumped between them and sliced there throats.
They were Nyssa and Snow White.
In another area, a soldier was grabbed from behind and his throat was sliced by a knife. It was Frank Castle of Earth-199999.
Two more arrived there and tried to take out their guns but Frank threw two knives and they were both dead as the knives hit their throats.
Some more arrived from behind him and fired but he took cover and fired back, getting some.
Deckard Shaw jumped down and elbowed a soldier in the head, before flipping and taking another down.
Another soldier was about to attack when a Billy Club hit his head, taking him out. It went into the hand of Daredevil.
"We're clear here." Daredevil nodded.
"Attention all prisoners. Great news, the cavalry has arrived!" a voice announced through the PA system.
"About time." Felicity commented.
The doors opened as Wally West stood there with a light smirk on his face.
"Who needs an army when you got Avengers?" he smirked.
As more soldiers walked, a figure silently stepped into the hallway.
"Freeze!" the soldiers said as they aimed there weapons. Eddie Brock simply raised his hands.
"Listen guys, you do not wanna do this." He said.
"Do not move!" one soldier commanded.
"All right fine," Eddie sighed, "Have it your way then."
"Mask!" Eddie commanded as black goo formed over his body. "Copy!" Venom replied.
"What the hell is this thing!?" a soldier demanded in horror as they began firing.
Venom immediately grabbed one soldier by the leg and threw him into a wall before kicking another one down and lifting a third soldier up, threw him away, before grabbing another and using him to smack the others.
Venom then leapt at two more soldiers and punched them down before lifting another and slammed him down as well.
"Let us find the others!" Venom said aloud as he leapt away.
"Thank god you guys arrived in time." Caitlin said gratefully as she, Cisco and Felicity stood together with all the assembled Heroes in the Speed Lab.
"No problem Caitlin." David assured her as Venom leapt down.
Felicity backed away in horror, while Cisco and Caitlin were unfazed, due to having met him before during the Battle of Earth.
"Hey Venom." Cisco greeted with a small wave.
Venom shifted back to Eddie who waved back with a smirk.
"Nice to see you guys, although I wish it was under better circumstances." Eddie said.
"Me too. Question though, how did you guys know what happened?" Caitlin asked.
"Dean Winchester showed up to help, said that Ross unleashed a dangerous weapon. Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Oliver, Chloe and the rest of the Avengers are here to help as well." David explained.
"Worse than it already is?" Cisco asked.
"Much worse. There is a Symbiote, similar to Venom here. Its name is Carnage, and it has bonded with Oliver." Mary Margaret explained, making Cisco, Caitlin and Felicity pale.
"Oh this is not good." Felicity muttered.
"The others are already in position; we just need to rescue our friends." David concluded.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go save our friends." Cisco said.
"Yeah, let's go, we can regroup here." David nodded.
Abandoned warehouse.
Ross walked into the room with Walker and Batroc by his side.
"Where are Oliver, Bruce and Crowe?" Jason demanded as all glared at the three.
"None of your concern. We have no more use for any of you." Ross said.
"Oh boy!" Diggle muttered.
"Call me when you're finished." Ross commanded as he stalked off.
Batroc took out a handgun and smirked.
"Who to kill first? So many possibilities here", Batroc mused to himself.
Sara closed her eyes as she waited for the inevitable end.
"And here I thought I would meet my end by Kindred, as I choose Lamb's bow." She thought to herself.
Batroc then aimed at Sara as everyone protested against it.
"NO!" Everyone shouted at the same time.
"Silence!" Walker roared.
"Any last words?" Batroc asked as he smirked.
"I have no regrets." Sara whispered with a thin smile.
"Nice." Batroc said sarcastically as he cocked the gun.
Before he could pull the trigger, he heard an arrow being notched and before he could react, it flew towards him, hitting the gun in his hands, knocking it out of his hand, before he swiftly drew another.
"Okay, I really thought it would have had some effect", Ollie complained as Batroc, Walker, the soldiers and the Heroes all stared at him.
"You thought you could defeat us alone?" Walker mocked.
"Who said I'm alone?" Ollie shrugged as Legolas suddenly leapt down and fired an arrow while leaping.
It multiplied into a few and all of them showered blasts of fire at the soldiers, making them shield themselves with there armour just in time, though some of them couldn't raise their armour in time and were singed by the flames, making them moan in pain.
Namor arrived, punching one solider out and kicking another down, as he spun his Trident to deflect bullets.
"Not these guys again", Bucky groaned as he and Clint walked out of the shadows and Bucky fired at a group of soldiers again with Clint aiding him.
Two others tried to fire there weapons, only for Wally to run and grab them, putting them in front of each other as they fired at each other instead, killing each other.
More soldiers arrived with a breach opening as Cisco and Caitlin walked out.
Cisco fired a blast at another thug, taking him down while Caitlin froze a soldier in place, with Namor shattering him with a punch.
Some of the soldiers were hit by bullets, taking them down as Rhodes flew around, firing at some more but they raised their armour to defend.
"Yeah, yeah. Try all you want, this is your end", Rhodes said as he flew around to avoid some attacks.
Wally sped up to the shackled Heroes and quickly unchained them.
"Let's go!" Steve commanded as all attacked.
Wilson flew and kicked away a soldier who fell right into Jason's sword, killing him as he and Jason exchanged a nod.
Angel jumped down and began fighting a pair of soldiers.
Slade fired at some of them from behind, making them take cover while one of them was cut down by Nyssa.
Twin lightning bolts hit the ground, taking many soldiers, as Thane appeared with Wanda by his side.
A sonic scream hit several soldiers, knocking them down as Melissa and Abe attacked, making everyone look at them with confusion.
Another soldier ran to attack Sara from behind, only to get his head chopped off by Jason, who flipped to avoid another attack and rammed into the soldier.
"We found Oliver, so some of us will rescue him, while the rest get Crowe and get out of here." David commanded as he fought more soldiers.
Central City, Ross' labs, same time.
"I have a bad feeling about this", one of the guards said, accompanying the doctor into the cell with a prisoner in cuffs.
"Look, we have our orders, let's follow them", the doctor said as they let the prisoner into the cell.
"What is this?" The prisoner demanded.
But before they could close the cell, from above jumped down a monstrous humanoid creature covered in red substance, attacking the prisoner, the guard and the scientist, attaching its tentacles onto them and draining the bodies into withered husks within moments.
"Lockdown! Lockdown!"
The red creature attacked the guards, as blood spattered.
Same time.
Frank, Shaw and Mary Margaret snuck into the building, all of them armed with weapons. Shaw took out a grenade and planted it on a wall.
"Let's split up!" Shaw commanded as the three ran in separate directions.
Two guards ran out but Mary Margaret shot them down before they could react. As more of them ran after her, Mary Margaret fired back and ran off before taking out a detonator and pressing it.
That moment, the detonator exploded, destroying the walls as entrances were opened for her allies to enter through.
Taking cover behind a crate, Mary Margaret fired some enchanted arrows at some more guards, killing them.
Rolling away, Frank hid behind a crate and threw two more grenades which took out even more men on exploding.
Yelena and Rick entered through another opening and were shocked as a scientist ran past them yelling. "WE'RE GONNA DIE! WE'RE GONNA DIE!"
Both were confused as he ran out and walked further in when guards showed up.
"Just what we needed", Rick smirked as he twirled his sword.
"Yup", Yelena agreed as they attacked.
Rick ducked to avoid a guard's strike and swept his feet from under him in a spin motion before spinning and stabbing another through the throat.
As another tried to attack from behind him, he kicked his knee, shattering it before Rick climbed over his body with his feet and flipped, ripping out his sword from the previous guard in the process as he landed and twirled his sword.
As another tried to attack, Rick threw a knife, hitting him in the neck as he was taken out while another grabbed him in a chokehold from behind but he leapt and flipped, making them both fall down as the guard groaned.
Rick elbowed him on the nose, knocking him out as he flipped up and ducked to avoid another strike before the man tried to kick but he grabbed his knee and twisted it, making him scream in pain as he fell down and Rick kicked another on the throat in a spin motion, taking him out.
One man attacked Yelena with a knife but she grabbed his hand and spinning around, made him stab himself in the side as he fell down.
Another attacked but she grabbed his hand and twisted it, breaking his bone as he screamed while Yelena dropped him.
She then kicked out 3 of them in quick succession before one grabbed her from behind but she grabbed his wrist and twisted it, making the man scream in pain as Yelena freed herself and dropped him.
As another attacked, Yelena spun him around and grabbed him in a chokehold before dropping him.
As another struck, Yelena grabbed his foot and spun him around, making him fall down as Yelena twisted his foot, breaking it.
One more attacked but Yelena kicked him back. As he tried to attack again, Yelena spun around and trapped his foot with her own, making him fall down as she knocked him out.
The guards were all out. Then they heard screaming and exchanging a look, ran further.
"Sir, shouldn't we lock down the area?" One of the scientists asked Ross.
"No. Let us see how this plays out", Ross said, observing the footage.
Yelena and Rick walked further as Yelena grabbed a soldier and elbowed him, taking him out while Rick copied the fighting patterns of the others and took them out of the fight as well.
Some men stood outside a door, seeing a blood trail there, and knew Yelena and Rick were here. They fired into the door, riddling it with bullet holes, and thought they had done it.
One of them opened the door and as soon as he entered, he was stabbed by a sword from above.
As he died, Rick jumped down. Before the thugs could react, Yelena appeared and threw two containers of acid. One of them was hit on the head and another on the throat. They both fell down, gasping in pain as the acid burnt their skins.
As some more guards neared the place, Rick yanked out his sword from the dead man and picked up an axe.
Walking out of the shed, he axed a guard between his legs. As another tried to fire at him from a close range, Rick grabbed his hand and cut it off with the sword. The man screamed in pain and Rick sliced his throat.
Picking up a machine gun, Yelena fired it at more guards who arrived, taking them all down at last.
Mary Margaret fired an enchanted arrow as Frank chopped off another thug's head with a machete, before Shaw elbowed another down.
"Let's go. We need to find Crowe and Bruce." Mary Margaret said as the three continued on there way.
Yelena grabbed a thug and stabbed him in the throat as Venom leapt down and kicked another thug into a wall.
"I sense Carnage to be nearby." Venom informed her and Rick.
"Yeah, let's take him down." Rick nodded as the three continued.
Shaw kicked a door down as he, Frank and Mary Margaret saw Crowe strapped to a table, with her powers being drained.
"Oh my god!" Mary Margaret said in horror as she saw Crowe almost dead. Rushing forward, she sliced the tubes, followed by the straps.
"Stay with me Crowe!" Mary Margaret pleaded as Frank and Shaw helped Crowe stand, as she was badly weakened.
"Let's get you out of here." Mary Margaret said as they left the room.
As Rick, Yelena and Venom moved further in, Carnage leapt in front of them and roared, a scientist in his grip.
Before any of them could react, Carnage attached its tentacle to the scientist and drained him into a husk as the three watched in horror.
"Jesus! Tell me you can take this guy!" Eddie said to Venom in a begging tone.
"He has got shit I've never seen", Venom said and Eddie groaned.
"So, so", Eddie trailed off. "Our chances are-"
"Pretty much, zero, yes", Venom told him.
"Oh fuck, let's just take care of him then", Eddie said as Venom charged with a roar but Carnage rammed into him, sending him flying back and crashing into a wall as it shattered on impact.
As Carnage leapt at him, Venom rolled away to avoid and kicked Carnage on the back of the head, sending him into the wall before Carnage turned around and hit the ground with both fists.
Protrusions protruded from the ground, about to hit Venom before he flipped back to avoid, getting déjà vu.
He then leapt at Carnage and rammed the Symbiote into the wall, trying to take him down before protrusions once again protruded from Carnage, making Venom let go as Carnage threw him, crashing him into Yelena and Rick.
Carnage then leapt through the roof as Yelena groaned.
"That was not fun", she groaned as Rick helped her up, while Venom staggered to his feet as well.
"We need to find the others, and get Bruce out of here. We're not going to get Oliver out of Carnage yet, considering he beat the crap out of Venom." Rick said grimly.
"Yeah. Dean might be able to help." Yelena agreed as the three moved away.
Mary Margaret, Frank and Shaw moved out of another hallway, holding up Crowe who muttered incoherently.
And then multiple soldiers appeared. Shaw grabbed one and head-butted him, as Frank sliced the throat of another and Shaw elbowed a third in the face.
"We don't have much time, let's go!" Shaw urged as they continued to move.
"Stargirl has found Bruce. We can get out of here now." Mary Margaret said.
Abandoned warehouse, same time.
The battle raged on, neither side willing to give up.
More soldiers kept appearing as Tony and Rhodes blasted more foes back, while Jason kicked another and swept his legs, before shooting him in the head.
Liam flipped over a soldier and kicked him down, ducking under another attack and smacking him away.
Brian rammed into some more soldiers and punched another away while Bucky elbowed a solider in a rotary motion, sending him down.
Jason and Natasha fought back to back, smacking and kicking soldiers away.
Jason flipped another to the ground and shot him.
As he turned, Melissa fired her sonic scream, taking out another soldier behind him. The two exchanged nods before moving away to fight.
Jason got up and kicked another to a wall before shooting him down. He turned to block the attack of another soldier and flipped him down too, before kicking another away in a spin motion.
Roy swept a soldier's feet from under him and smacked him on the face, knocking him out. He then fired at another soldier who was trying to aim at him and put him down too.
He then flip kicked another away.
Steve threw his shield which struck a soldier, knocking him out as he blocked bullets from another.
Natasha knocked another soldier down, when Techno tripped her, sending her flying, but Wally caught her.
"Thanks." She said and Wally nodded.
Another soldier tried to attack, but Danvers sent him flying off while Liam flip-kicked another down and Tommy smacked another soldier in a spin motion.
Sara smacked one down while Wanda, Natasha and Laurel fought back to back.
Thane kneed another one in the face, knocking him out while Liam roundhouse kicked an oncoming soldier.
Jason suddenly smacked a soldier on the face with his gun, knocking him out. He then grabbed another thug and took cover behind him as he was riddled with bullets.
He then took his gun and fired at the soldiers, killing them.
He grabbed one soldier and kicked another over a crate. He then kneed that soldier on the chest and he was out.
All of the soldiers were down.
"Fall back now!" Batroc commanded as all of the T-Bolts except for Melissa and Abe retreated.
"That's it? We won?" Jason asked.
"Yeah sort of." Yelena replied through the comms.
"What do you mean?" Steve asked.
"We'll explain when we get back to STAR Labs. We found Crowe and Bruce." Yelena replied.
STAR Labs, some time later.
"So explain to me again what the hell happened to Oliver?" Jason commanded as all listened in horror.
All of the Heroes had gathered back in STAR Labs. Crowe was still out of it, although Tony and Caitlin had managed to stabilize her condition.
"Oliver bonded with a Symbiote named Carnage. Think Venom, but like fifty times more brutal and violent. Also it drinks people's insides." Rick explained.
"Oh this is just got so much worse." Liam groaned.
"Can we separate the two?" Steve asked the question that everyone was thinking.
"We could. Symbiotes have only two weaknesses. Fire and high pitch noises." Eddie explained.
"Great, so we have to figure out a way to separate Oliver from Carnage." Jason said.
"Yeah. We're working on it." Cisco nodded.
"Let's get to work." Steve commanded as all dispersed.
Later.
David stood facing a computer when he heard footsteps and turned to see Jason, Steve and Sara walk up to him.
"Hey David." Jason smiled, hugging him, as David shook Steve and Sara's hands.
"I'm glad you guys arrived in time. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up in time." Sara said.
"Question though; how did you guys know to bring everyone else?" Jason asked curiously.
"Well…" David trailed off.
Earth-1, Gotham City, some time earlier.
"Liam, tell me you are settling the Alice case." Kate Kane said as she walked into Wayne Enterprises headquarters.
"I'm working on it." Liam Stark replied as he scrolled through some documents.
"Also, David Nolan called." Kate said, making Liam look up at her.
"He did? Why?" Liam asked.
"He needs your help. Something about Jason." Kate replied.
"Tell him I'm on my way." Liam said, getting up and straightening his tie.
"Do you need me to come along as well?" Kate asked.
"No Kate. I need you to say here. Just tell Bruce and Dinah that I will be out of town for a while." Liam replied.
"Will do." Kate said as the two exited the office.
"Hey!" a voice called out and both turned to see someone walk up to them.
"Oh it's you." Liam rolled his eyes at seeing Lindsey McDonald walk up to them. He hated Lindsey. Not only did he seem fishy, he was also an unlikable prick.
"Listen, why do you keep avoiding me?" Lindsey asked.
"You're a douchebag. I don't do well with douchebags." Liam said.
"That was not the type of response I was expecting." Lindsey commented.
"Oh you want a response?" Liam said, taking out a gun from underneath his coat and shooting Lindsey in the face.
"Liam what the hell!?" Kate demanded in shock.
"Relax Kate, its paintball." Liam shrugged.
True enough, Lindsey had a big blotch of pink paint in the middle of his forehead and he and Kate both looked at Liam.
"Liam Stark." Liam said with a cocky smirk.
Now.
"He seriously shot someone in the face with a paintball gun?" Jason asked with shock as all listened in.
"Yeah", David shrugged. "Didn't say why."
"And the others?" Steve asked.
"I found the Avengers and Kara next and brought them along." David said.
Earth-199999, Avengers Compound, some time earlier.
"Well done on the mission guys." Clint said as Rhodes, Namor, Wanda and Thane exited the Quinjet, where Clint, Bucky, Sam and Wally stood.
"Wasn't too difficult." Namor shrugged.
"Where are the others?" Rhodes asked upon noticing Steve, Jason, Natasha, Banner, Tony, Logan and Tommy missing.
"There was an emergency on Earth-1, so they went to go help." Bucky replied.
"Yeah, and it just got worse." A voice said from behind and all turned to see David walk up to them.
"David! Why are you here?" Rhodes asked.
"We need your help on Earth-1. Our friends were captured, and it's gotten real bad. We need your help." David said.
"Tell us everything", Clint said as all looked at David.
Now.
"I'm glad you got to them in time." Steve nodded.
"Yeah. And Kara too." David nodded.
Earth-38, National City, some time earlier.
Danvers was discussing something with J'onn and Alex when a breach opened and David walked out.
"Oh! David! Why are you here?" Danvers asked.
"It's urgent Kara. We need your help to save our friends." David said.
A determined look came over Danvers' face as she nodded.
"Tell me everything." She said.
Now.
"Thanks a lot David. It means a lot." Jason said, patting him on the shoulder.
"Everything will be fine." Sara said.
"How do you know?" Steve asked.
"Because. We will always win. That I am sure of." Sara said.
"Yeah," Jason nodded.
"Let's get ready." Steve said and all nodded.
"Fear not this fight, we will not lose." Sara said.
Ross' Labs, same time.
"Batroc", Ross called out as Batroc looked at him. "I have something to give to you."
"What is it?" Batroc asked.
"This serum is all of Crowe's powers that were extracted from her. Use this, and lay waste to our enemies", Ross said. "We already have other test subjects injected with her powers to aid you in this."
Batroc smirked as he took the vial. "Oh that I will do."
"Heroes. Bring your best. I am ready."
And done.
So now Carnage has disappeared although he will be back, Crowe and Bruce have been rescued, Ross' forces have been defeated for now, Melissa and Abe have turned on the T-Bolts, and now everyone is preparing for the last fight.
I hope you enjoyed the appearance of Lindsey McDonald from the Buffyverse in this. I will admit, Liam shooting him in the face with a paintball gun was very enjoyable to write.
Although as you can see, Kate and Liam work as criminal defense attorneys, and I am writing Kate in a more positive light as you can see.
I also hope you liked the reference to the League of Legends character Kindred, who is the embodiment of death and can only die once the Universe, or Multiverse in this case dies. Look him up, he is awesome.
But now Batroc and other criminals have Crowe's powers. Not good at all.
Next chapter will cover the final battle so I hope you're all excited for it.
