Prologue
My name is Splinter. I am the sensei and father of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles. Right now, my sons, their friends and I are in a haunted tower. What started out as a simple visit to the town turned into an investigation of some ghost that's haunting the top floor of the tower. But right now, that masked man you see over there is fighting a trio of obnoxious female Ghost Pokémon. Even after we get past these three, the real danger has yet to be stumbled upon.

Episode 8: Ghost of a Chance
(Insert "Splinter Explains" from Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles [1987 Series])
"Are we there yet, Leo?" asked Michelangelo. "This is the tenth time you asked ever since we entered the Rock Tunnel. We'll know when we're closer to Lavender Town when we exit out the tunnel," said Leonardo. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles along with their sensei, Splinter and their friends, April O'Neil, Casey Jones & Misty Waterflower were on their way to Lavender Town. The half shelled heroes and their sensei had passed Zapdos' Trial of Endurance two days ago. Now, they were going to Lavender Town before heading to the Pokémon Ninja School. Leonardo was leading the way, armed with a flashlight. The TMNS and Splinter weren't wearing their ninja gear currently.
"But we've been walking for almost an hour an half," said Michelangelo. "Complaining's not going to get us to the town faster," said Raphael. "Raphael is right. Patience is a virtue," said Splinter. "Well Raph doesn't really show patience when he loses his temper," sneered Michelangelo. "I heard that!" said Raphael. "At least we're getting exercise will all this walking," said Donatello. "Yes. It feels great to be traveling again instead of being cooped up at the gym back at home," said Misty.
(End Music)
Just then, Leonardo saw a light ahead of them. "Guys. I see light ahead. It's the end of the tunnel," said Leonardo. Michelangelo sighed with relief. "Finally," said Michelangelo. The TMNS began to run ahead of the group. "Hey! Slow down!" said April. "We don't know what's outside the tunnel," said Splinter. Splinter and the others began to run after the four Squirtles. Everybody exited out of the tunnel and could see Lavender Town from the hill they were standing on. "There it is. Lavender Town," said April. "Good thing we arrived in the daytime instead of night," said Misty. "Ooh. Somebody's scared," teased Michelangelo. "I'm not scared!" snapped Misty. "Oh yes you are. I remember how you reacted when you heard we're going to Lavender Town. You're Torchic," teased Michelangelo. He began to imitate a Torchic. This made Misty mad. "Why you . . . !" said Misty. She began to chase after Michelangelo. Michelangelo laughed rudely as he was getting pursued by Misty. Splinter shook his head. "This is what I have to put up with everyday," said Splinter.
Very soon, the heroes arrived to the Lavender Town Pokémon Center. The Nurse Joy recognized Misty. She had a purple cross on her hat. "Misty. What a surprise to see you again," said Joy. "Oh. Hello Nurse Joy," said Misty. "It's been a while since Ash, Pikachu, Brock and you solved the mystery of the Marowak ghost at the Lavender Town Tower," said Joy. "Marowak Ghost?" asked April. "You see. Years ago, there were some Team Rocket agents who were trying to capture a baby Cubone. It's mother came to its defense, but she died saving her child. The Cubone was found and adopted by Mr. Fuji and lived at the Pokémon House. It's where orphaned or abandoned Pokémon live and are taken care of by Mr. Fuji and volunteers. When Ash, Brock and I first arrived her, the Marowak's ghost was haunting the tower. It was because Jessie, James and Meowth were in the tower, holding Mr. Fuji hostage. The reason why it was scaring off people was because it was trying to warn people to stay away from them. But Ash, Pikachu, Brock and I managed to calm down the Marowak Ghost and she was finally able to rest in peace, but not before seeing her Cubone child one last time. We were able to rescue Mr. Fuji. As for Team Rocket, the Ghost Pokémon had them tortured," said Misty. The TMNS, Splinter, April and Casey stared at Misty. "It's not the torture that you think it would be. They just wanted to have some fun," said Misty. "Really," said Casey.
"Hey, Misty. Is it possible you can take us to the Pokémon house? I would love to see the Pokémon that live there," said April. "Sure. I'm sure Mr. Fuji and Reina would be happy to see us again," said Misty. "Reina?" asked April. "She's one of the volunteers that help out at the Pokémon House," said Misty.
A little later, Misty led the Squirtles, Splinter, April and Casey to the Pokémon House. She knocked on the door. The one who answered the door was the one known as Reina. She was a girl who was fifteen years of age. She had brown hair and blue eyes. She wore a pink shirt, a purple, ruffled skirt and a pair of green striped socks and a a pair of brown shoes. "Misty, is that really you?" asked Reina. "Yes. It's me," said Misty. "Misty, it's good to see you again," said Reina, hugging Misty. "It's good to see you again too, Reina," said Misty. "How are Ash and his cute little Pikachu?" asked Reina. "They're doing great. Ash has won the Unova League and he along with his traveling companions are currently exploring the Decolore Islands before heading back to Kanto," said Misty. "Has Brock found himself a girl?" asked Reina, teasingly. "I'm afraid not," said Misty sheepishly.
Reina noticed April, Casey, the Squirtles and Splinter. "Are they new friends of yours?" asked Reina. "Yes. This is April O'Neil and Casey Jones. And over there are April's four Squirtles; Micheal, Sam, Frank and Wayne. And then there's Dareen the Raticate," said Misty. "Squirtle," said the Squirtles. "Raticate," said Dareen. "I thought they'd like to see the Pokémon House," said Misty. "Do come in. Mr. Fuji's present too," said Reina. She led Misty and the others into the Pokémon House.
Reina led Misty and her friends to a room where there were holding pens for several Pokémon. Volunteers were helping take care some of the Pokémon by either feeding or grooming them. They included a Growlithe, a Vulpix, an Oddish, a Rattata and more. "Mr. Fuji. Misty's here," said Reina. The one known as Mr. Fuji approached the group. He was an elderly man with bushy gray eyebrows. "Misty. It's good to see you again," said Mr. Fuji. It's good to see you too, Mr. Fuji," said Misty. "How's Ash?" asked Mr. Fuji. "He's won the Unova League just recently and he'll be coming home in about a month or so," said Misty. "Good for him. I knew he was champion material," said Mr. Fuji.
Just then, Misty noticed a Pokémon that was with Mr. Fuji. It was a Pokémon that resembled an adult version of Cubone. It was much larger and more powerful than Cubone. The Pokémon had a spike located on its tail, but no longer had the two spikes on its back. On its stomach, it was very light brown in color, as opposed to most of the rest of its body, which was a darker brown. Unlike Cubone, it's head is now composed of the skull it once wore as a mask. It could no longer remove the skull, as it is now a direct body part. It's jaw was composed of bone, dissimilarly to Cubone, and its nostrils were located on the nose of the skull. Its eyes were now brown, and were also located on the skull. Despite the many changes upon evolution from Cubone, it remained bipedal. "Hey. Is that Marowak with you evolved from the baby Cubone?" asked Misty. "Yes. It has," said Mr. Fuji. "Marowak," said Marowak. "Hello Marowak. It's good to see that you've grown up. It's hard to imagine you were once a little Cubone," said Misty. Marowak nodded.
After their visit, the Squirtles and their friends went back to the Pokémon Center. The sun was starting to set. "Mr. Fuji was a nice man. He really loves Pokémon," said Splinter. "Yes, Master Splinter," said Leonardo. Just then, the heroes began to hear a conversation. It was between a teenage girl and a man in his late twenties. "That ghost really did that to you?" asked the teenage girl. "Yes. I didn't see what it looked like, but it scratched me real good," said the man as he lifted his shirt. He showed his torso was wrapped in bandages. "Excuse, I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Did you say that you were attacked by a ghost?" asked Casey. "Yes. It's haunting the top floor of the haunted tower. It moved so fast that I couldn't see what it looked like. But it slashed at my torso. After getting attacked by it, I ran for medical attention immediately," said the man. "This was the third attack from that mysterious ghost this week," said the teenage girl. "And nobody has ever seen it fully?" asked April. "Nope," said the teenage girl, shaking her head. "Hmm. I think we should go and investigate these hauntings," said April. "Are you saying we're going to . . . ," said Misty. She gulped. "Go into the tower?" asked Misty. "That's right," said April. "Time we bust that ghost and send it packing!" said Casey, banging his fists.
"There's no ghost," said a voice. "Huh?" asked everybody. Everybody turned and saw the voice belonged to a Japanese woman with black hair and glasses. With her was a man who was about eighteen years old and he had brown hair. "What do you mean there's no ghost? I was attacked by it last night," said the man. "You're just imagining things. Ghosts are not real. They're just a figment of people's imaginations," said the Japanese woman. "What about Ghost Pokémon. They're real. Trust me, I've seen them," said Misty. "They don't exist either," said the Japanese Woman. "What?! Just who do you think you are, saying ghosts are not real?!" asked Misty. "My name is Akari Tsukimura, a scientist. And tonight, I'm going to prove that there are no such thing as ghosts or Ghost Pokémon by going into that tower," said the Japanese woman
As the argument was going on, the Squirtles and Splinter went to change into their ninja gear. "I've been to the tower once and I saw Ghost Pokémon. And I'm going there to prove to you that they're real!" said Misty. "You'll just prove that you're a fool for believing in such nonsense!" said Akari. She went to get some gear. "I apologize for Akari's behavior. She's always been like that since she was a child," said the Japanese man. "And you are?" asked Casey. "Takeru. Takeru Tenkuji," said the Japanese man. "She acts obnoxious to people who've seen ghosts. Why do you even hang around with her?" asked Misty. "I've asking myself that for sometime over the years," said Takeru.
Very soon, April, Casey, Misty, Takeru and Akari approached the Pokémon Tower. The exterior had two horn-like objects protruding from the side of the tower, a balcony that appeared to be a mouth and two eye-like windows on the very top of it, giving it a demonic appearance. "There it is. The haunted tower," said Misty. "It's just haunted because it was built to look haunted. It's not haunted on the inside," said Akari.
Everybody arrives outside of the haunted Pokémon Tower.
"You may be a scientist, but that doesn't give the right to be rude to people who do believe in anything supernatural," said a voice. It was Donatello. He and his brothers along with Splinter were standing on the limb of a tree. They jumped down to where the five humans were at. "Whoa. Those are some big Squirtles and a big Raticate," said Takeru. "We're the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles. I'm Leonardo. These are my brothers, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. That over there is our sensei, Splinter," said Leonardo. "Greetings," said Splinter.
"H-how are you talking? And why are you so big? Pokémon can't talk!" said Akari. "Some Pokémon can talk using telepathy. This Meowth belonging to the criminal organization learned to talk on his own. But as for my brothers, Splinter and I, we grew big and learned to talk via getting exposed to mutagen," said Donatello. "Mutagen?" asked Takeru. "Mutagen is this alien ooze that mutates an organism into a hybrid of their original species and what they have been in most contact with. In the case of the Squirtles and Splinter, they were in most contact with humans prior to their mutation. Therefore, they mutated into what they are now," said April. "They've also gained human intelligence too," said Casey. "And from what they have told me, there are scientists who are studying Pokémon mutations caused by mutagen. One thing they have discovered was that any Pokémon who haven't fully evolved can never evolve once they're exposed to mutagen," said Misty. "Can we just go into the tower so I can discredit the existence of the ghosts?" asked Akari. Misty rolled her eyes. "Oh brother," said Misty.

Everybody entered the tower. "You're gonna have to follow me. Even though I've never been to this tower for years, I know the environment. You have to watch your step. Some parts of the floor are prone to collapsing due to the tower's age," said Misty. Misty got out a flashlight and everybody began to follow her.
"So, what kind of Ghost Pokémon have you seen in this tower when you first visited?" asked Raphael. "Well. I've seen Gastly, it's evolved form Haunter, and its final evolved form, Gengar. Despite them being ghosts, some of them actually want to make people laugh instead of scaring them. Before Ash challenged Sabrina, the Saffron City Gym Leader, he had us make a stop here to catch Ghost Pokémon to be ready for the Gym challenge. He caught a really goofy Haunter," said Misty. "I see," said Michelangelo.
"He didn't catch a Haunter," said Akari. "What?" asked Misty. "You heard me. He didn't catch a Haunter 'cause it doesn't exist. It's obviously a Ditto pretending to be a ghost. That's what all the ghosts are and always will," said Akari. "But I'm telling you. I did see actual Ghost Pokémon. They are real! Some of them scared the pants off of me!" said Misty. "You're an idiot to believe in something that scientifically doesn't exist!" said Akari. This made Misty angry. So angry that she got out a mallet and clonked Akari on the head. "OW!" cried Akari. She had a goose egg the size of a baseball on her head. "Shut up! The real idiots are people like you! You're always trying to find scientific explanations for everything! But when they encounter something that doesn't look scientifically right, they always end up looking like fools trying to find proof! Even if they see the thing they think doesn't exist, they deny the evidence that's in their faces! If you ask me, you're not even a scientist to begin with! Just a no nothing know it all!" said Misty. "Who are you calling a no nothi . . . ," said Akari. "That's enough you two! You're going to arouse the ire of the ghosts," said Splinter.
"I don't have to put with this! I don't have to put up with you, Misty! I'll discredit the ghosts' existence on my own and discredit you at the same time! And in the end, you'll be proven that you were always the fool!" said Akari. And Akari stormed off. "Wrong. You're the one who was always the fool. And you're going to prove it again," said Misty. "I think you were too hard on Akari," said Takeru. "Well since you weren't willing to stand for what you believe in, I had to do it. I just simply threw the truth in her face," said Misty.
Little did our heroes know that three Ghost Pokémon had witnessed the argument. They were a Mismagius, a Froslass and a Dusknoir. Mismagius was a purple, ghost-like Pokémon. It had a round head with elaborate tufts resembling a witch's hat atop it. The tips of the tufts were paler than most of the body. It had a thin, red mouth that resembled the letter "W." Below its head, Mismagius had a long neck with a round lump midway down. Three, elliptical red spheres surrounded the upper portion of Mismagius's body. There were extensions on the sides of its lower body with the foremost ones tattered compared to rear ones. This gave Mismagius the appearance of wearing some kind of cloak.
Froslass was a humanoid Pokémon with a hollow torso that resembles a kimono. It wore a red band around its waist, reminiscent of an obi. Its body lacked feet and it floats in the air like its counterpart, Glalie. Its arms were connected to the sides of its head, and flared at the wrists. The flared portion has dappled, light blue coloration. Its hands consisted of three small fingers. Froslass's head was shaped similar to a sideways water droplet, and was topped with two ice crystals that resemble horns. Its head had several holes on it, resembling a mask. Through two of these holes, crystal blue eyes with yellow sclera can be seen. It also had a mouth below this "mask".
Dusknoir was a primarily black Pokémon somewhat resembling a cyclops. Its cylindrical head was light gray with a single eye that has a yellow iris and a red pupil. There was a yellow band near the top of its head, and a short, yellow antenna with a disc-shaped tip extends from on top. Six flat projections extended from the base of its neck and surround its head, resembling an upturned collar. Dusknoir had well-developed arms with two yellow bands near its wrists and large, gray hands. On the front of its torso were two almond-shaped marking, and on its back were two circular markings. Both sets of markings resemble eyes. A yellow band encircled its body, zigzagging along the front and forming a long curve around the back. It had a wispy tail in place of feet. This particular Dusknoir was very fat. "What a skeptical sod," said the Froslass. "Girls, I think it's time we teach that Akari a thing or three and prove that we exist," said Mismagius. "Now you're talking!" said Dusknoir, banging her fists. The three female Ghost Pokémon began to giggle as they began to follow after Akari.
(End Music)
In the hallways, she was exploring, Akari was grumbling. "That stupid Misty. Despite my explanations, she still refuses to give up her belief in ghosts. And she had the nerve to hit me in the head with a mallet! A mallet! When I discredit the ghosts' existence, she's gonna take back everything she said to me. She'll have to deal with it," said Akari.
"Can you?" asked three voices. Akari turned 'round a corner, only to be face to face with the three female Ghost Pokémon. They made themselves look scarier by making their teeth look sharper. Akari screamed and fainted. Mismagius, Froslass and Dusknoir laughed at the unconscious Akari. Then, the three Ghost Pokémon began to enter into Akari's body through her mouth. "Dive!" said Mismagius. "Dive!" said Froslass. "Dive!" said Dusknoir. But when Dusknoir tried to enter Akari's body, she was having trouble due to how fat she was. "Those Poképuffs really go into my hips," said Dusknoir. She took a deep breath and managed to enter through her mouth fully. Akari was starting to stir.
In a different hallway, the TMNS, Splinter, April, Casey, Misty and Takeru were conversing. "Exploring these hallways have become much more quiet now that Akari has separated from us," said Misty. "Seriously, Takeru. Why do you even put up with that girl?" asked Raphael. "I've been asking myself as we grew older. But I'm not one to hold a grudge due to the way she acts," said Takeru. "Has there been incidents where her obsession to find scientific proof for everything gotten her into big trouble?" asked Misty. "Yeah. I mean. I've read or seen news of incidents where people got in trouble due to obsessing of finding scientific proof," said Casey. "Yes. There have been. She was a lot worse than she is today. The time where she really got in trouble was when she tried to find scientific proof for more religious events. But that got her in big trouble with some religious authorities. They even had her arrested for it too. After that, she didn't do it as excessively, but she still refused to learn regardless," said Takeru. "You know. I think we should find her before she lands herself into more trouble," said Leonardo.
Little did our heroes know that Akari was already landing herself in trouble now that the three Ghost Pokémon were in her body. Akari found a bathroom and began to wash her face.
(Insert "First Haunting" from Casper)
As she was drying her face with a towel, her face suddenly transformed into that of the evil queen from Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. "Magic mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all?" asked Akari. Then, her face transformed into that of Jessica Rabbit. "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way," said Akari. Next, her face transformed into Betty Boop's. "Boo boo bedoo. Boop!" said Akari. And finally, her face transformed into that of the superhero, Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider then growled. Akari screamed and her face transformed back to normal. Akari was so startled that she stumbled back and her right foot got caught in a bucket. She pulled back a shower curtain, revealing Dusknoir showering. Dusknoir screamed and covered her body. The door in front of Akari growled, scaring her even more. She began to run out of the door, screaming.
The TMNS and the others heard Akari's screaming. "That was Akari," said Takeru. "Sounds like she's already in trouble," said Michelangelo. "And my goggles are detecting some paranormal signatures up ahead," said Donatello. The heroes began to run down the hall to find Akari. "Akari? Akari?!" asked Takeru. Suddenly, Dusknoir bumped Takeru with her fat body, knocking him into the others. They all toppled over like bowling pins, right into a closet, which Dusknoir closed the door of. "Hey girls. We've got a closet case here," said Dusknoir. As Akari ran down the halls, she began to hear a train whistle.
(End Music)
She saw ahead of him something moving underneath the carpet of the floor. Emerging from the carpet was Froslass. "Smell-o-gram," said Froslass. She breathed her cold and stinky breath. Akari was stunk out by the smell of Froslass' breath. Not to mention, her head was frozen in an ice cube. Akari stumbled back and she tripped on a nearby vacuum cleaner and fell to the floor, near a staircase. She grabbed part of a carpet that was on the stair and she began to roll down the stairs. In the process, she was getting rolled up in the carpet. "Ice cold sushi anyone? California roll coming up," said Froslass as Akari rolled down the stairs. When she hit the floor, she was all rolled up and the ice cube on her head shattered. Akari started rolling again, causing the carpet binding her to unroll.
(Insert "Sword Fight" from Casper)
When Akari got back up, she saw the three Ghost Pokémon, armed with swords. "All for one, and one for all!" said the three Ghost Pokémon. "Catch your pants before they fall," said Mismagius. She swiped her sword at Akari's belt and her pants fell down, revealing her panties. Akari shrieked and turned red in embarrassment. Akari began to flee from the ghosts, with her pants still down. "On the runway now, we have Akari Tsukimura, wearing smashing underwear," said Dusknoir. "Marky Mark she's not!" said Mismagius. Akari ducked into a closet just as the three Ghost Pokémon charged with their swords pointed forward. Akari locked the closet door and sighed with relief. Then, two swords pierced the door on both sides of her head. The third sword pierced the door beneath Akari's crotch. Akari shrieked and fainted due to the shock.
Takeru could hear Akari's shrieks from the closet that he, the TMNS, Splinter, April, Casey and Misty were locked in. "I got help her," said Takeru. Suddenly, Takeru went through the floor of the closet. "Guys, I've detected paranormal activity coming from Takeru," said Donatello. "You mean he's . . . ," said Raphael. Michelangelo shrieked. "HE'S A GHOST!" cried Michelangelo as he jumped and clung onto April's face. "Get off my face!" cried April, pulling Michelangelo off of him. The three Ghost Pokémon laughed as Mismagius high fived her comrades. "You are good," said Froslass. "Oh, stop. It's you," said Mismagius. "Are we scary or what?" asked Dusknoir.
"Knock it off!" said Takeru as he entered the hall. A strange-looking belt buckle materialized on Takeru's waist. It had a handle on its right side. Then, he then took out a strange device that looked like an eyeball. He pressed part of the side of the eye device and inserted it into the belt buckled. Suddenly, a black & orange parka emerged from the belt buckle and began to float around Takeru. "Eye. Bachiira Minaa. Bachiira Minaa. Bachiira Minaa. Bachiira Minaa," chanted the belt buckle. Takeru then did a hand pose. "HENSHIN!" said Takeru. He pressed on the buckle's handle. "Kaigan: Ore! Let's Go! Kakugo! Gho-Gho-Gho-Ghost! GO! GO! GO! GO!" said the belt buckle as armor materialized over Takeru's body. Then, the parka went over him, making a full costume. The parka also came with a helmet that had an orange glowing face with black visors and a horn. "What in the world?" asked Mismagius. "I am Kamen Rider . . . Ghost!" said Takeru.
Kamen Rider Ghost then took out his sword, which was called the Gan Gun Saber. "Oh, and it looks as if we're gonna go into sudden death overtime," said Mismagius. Then, Mismagius grabbed a cane, Froslass got an umbrella and Dusknoir got a cane of her own. "Anybody for a little superhero kabob?" asked Dusknoir. "I am!" said Froslass. They tried to strike Ghost, but he blocked their attacks with his sword. Suddenly, Mismagius knocked Ghosts' Gan Gun Saber out of his hand. Without thinking twice, the orange & black Kamen Rider grabbed a toilet plunger and thrust it at Mismagius' face, sticking to it. Ghost then began to pull at Mismagius' face, causing her to yelp as her face stretched. Ghost finally let go and Mismagius recoiled and she was sent flying backwards.
"Ha-ha!" said Froslass and Dusknoir as they charged at Kamen Rider Ghost. Ghost dodged the two Pokémon's weapons. "En garde!" said Froslass. Ghost blocked Froslass' umbrella with his toilet plunger. "Kitchie-koo!" said Dusknoir, tickling at Ghost's side. Kamen Rider Ghost blocked another attack from Froslass' umbrella. Froslass tried to jab at Ghost, but Ghost made his body ghost-like and the umbrella went through him. However, it poked Dusknoir, right in the eye. Dusknoir yelped as she clutched her eye. "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk," said Ghost. After that, he whacked Froslass, sending her across the hallway, screaming. Mismagius recovered and resumed fighting Kamen Rider Ghost. "Who do you think you are, defiling our domicile, huh?" asked Mismagius. "Takeru. . . Tenkuji, ghost . . . hunter," said Takeru as he blocked Mismagius' attacks while ascending up the stairs.
Back in the closet, Leonardo got out his twin katanas. "Stand back everybody!" said Leonardo. He then slashed at the hinges of the door, causing it to fall down. "They don't make doors like they used to, huh?" asked Michelangelo. "Come on. Let's find Takeru and Akari," said Raphael. "Once we deal with those ghosts, I have some questions to ask him," said Donatello. The TMNS, Splinter, April, Casey and Misty then began to search for Takeru and Akari. They got into the hallway where Takeru, as Kamen Rider Ghost was fighting the Ghost Pokémon trio. "Is that Takeru?" asked Misty. "No way! He's a superhero and a ghost?!" asked Michelangelo.
Kamen Rider Ghost and Mismagius got their two weapons. Then, Ghost thrust his toilet plunger to the side, causing Mismagius to get send flying. Froslass approached Kamen Rider Ghost. She breathed her stinky, icy breath on the Kamen Rider. "Ugh!" cried Ghost as he stumbled back. He fell near the vacuum cleaner that Akari tripped on earlier. Froslass chuckled. "And he's down for the count. The winner . . .by a clean stink-out!" said Froslass.
Kamen Rider Ghost recovered and grabbed the vacuum hose. "Get back," said Ghost. "What the heck is that thing?" asked Mismagius. Ghost then flipped the switch and the vacuum turned on. "Ha, ha!" said Ghost. Ghost then began to suck up Mismagius into the vacuum. "Not the hair!" cried Mismagius as she was getting sucked in by the hair. Once Mismagius was sucked up, Ghost began to vacuum up Froslass. "I'm bein' hosed!" cried Froslass as she was sucked up. "No, no, no, no, no!" cried Dusknoir. She tried to flee, but Ghost was too quick for her. Dusknoir screamed as she was getting sucked up. Her head was still sticking out along with her fingers. "Th-Th-This sucks!" said Dusknoir. And she was sucked into the vacuum with the rest of her comrades. Ghost panted.
(End Music)
Ghost went back downstairs and picked up his Gan Gun Saber. "Cowabunga. That was awesome the way you sucked up those ghosts! A vacuum's just as effective as a proton pack!" said Michelangelo. "Takeru, how is it that you're both a ghost and a superhero?" asked Donatello. "Well. I was recently killed by these ghost-like creatures called Ganma and I was given a chance to revive if I can collect fifteen devices called Eyecons within ninety-nine days. If I do, I'll be revived for good. If I don't, I vanish forever. I think I'd better stay transformed in case the ghost we're dealing with is very hostile," said Ghost.
"Where's Akari?" asked April. "She's in that closet over," said Takeru. The swords were still stuck to the door. Takeru opened the closet door and dragged Akari out. Takeru checked her pulse. "She's unconscious. She must've fainted due to the shock of what those Ghost Pokémon did to her," said Ghost. "I'll wake her up," said Raphael. He fired a Water Gun attack from his mouth, which made Akari wet and woke her up. "Why am I all wet?" asked Akari. "You fainted. So I had to wake you up with a Water Gun attack," said Raphael. "Now that you encountered those three Ghost Pokémon, I guess that proves that they're real in your eyes," said Misty with a sneer.
"Those were not ghosts cause there never were ghosts! Those were probably just Dittos posing as ghosts, trying to scare me into believing!" said Akari stubbornly. "Ooh! Even after you encountered them, you still refuse to believe Ghost Pokémon's existence?! I was right about one thing! You stupid, skeptical scientists deny the existence of something you don't believe in even when the evidence is in your face! If you ask me, the only real scientist among us here is Donatello!" said Misty. "My goggles detect some paranormal residue in your body from when the ghosts possessed you," said Donatello. "I think your goggles are malfunctioning," said Akari. "They're not malfunctioning! I check these goggles every day to make sure they're working properly! Heck, I'm so smart that I even built working vehicles!" said Donatello. "You built vehicles?! I don't believe you!" said Akari. "Believe it, buster!" said Michelangelo. "How are you calling bus . . . ," said Akari.
"That's enough! Arguing is not going to get us to the top floor faster!" scolded Splinter. "Splinter's right. Come on. We've got a ghost at the top floor to evict," said Leonardo. Everybody then began to exit the area. Inside the vacuum cleaner, the three Ghost Pokémon were struggling to get out. "Get your hand out of my mouth!" cried Froslass. "Oh, man, who let one?" asked Mismagius. "Well, who do you think?" asked Dusknoir. "Who's got their pointy head in my . . . ," said Mismagius. "That's not my head," said Dusknoir. "You know, fellows, we're never this close anymore," said Mismagius.
The TMNS and the group were now on the floor that was below the top floor. Suddenly, Donatello's goggles began to beep. "I'm detecting some paranormal activity on this floor," said Donatello. "Where, Donnie?" asked Ghost. "It's coming from that room," said Donatello, pointing to a door. There was light coming from the door. The TMNS began to creep quietly toward the door. "Shh. We don't know what we're dealing with," said Donatello. Donatello slowly began to open the door and saw what he had detected. It was a small, but fat green ghost with yellow eyes with red pupils. It was eating a lot of food that was in the room. "What is it, Donnie?" asked Michelangelo. "It's a Slimer," said Donatello. "What's a Slimer?" asked Ghost. "A Slimer is a type of ghost that got its name because every time it passes through a solid object, it leaves behind green slime," said Donatello. Akari pushed Donatello aside to see the Slimer. "It's just another Ditto posing as an ugly ghost," said Akari out loud.
Unfortunately, the Slimer heard Akari's insult and growled at her. "I think it heard you," said April. The Slimer began to charge at Akari. The other heroes yelped and ran aside. Akari screamed as the Slimer got closer and closer. It went through Akari, sliming her in the process. Akari fell to the ground. The Slimer laughed at Akari before disappearing. "Akari!" cried Ghost. Everybody gathered around Akari. "Akari, say something!" said Ghost. "It slimed me," groaned Akari. "That's great! Actual physical contact!" said Donatello. He began to take some samples of the ectoplasma. He took out a hand scanner to scan the green slime. "I knew it. It's 100% ectoplasm," said Donatello. He turned to Akari. "Where's your Ditto theory now?" asked Donatello. Akari growled in annoyance. "This is outrage! I am trying to prove that ghosts don't exist, but you people are trying to discredit me!" said Akari. "Well let me tell you something Akari, I've seen shit that'll turn you white," said Misty.
After cleaning Akari of the ectoplasm, the heroes finally reached the top floor. "Well. Here we are," said Leonardo. Donatello's goggles to began to detect some paranormal readings. "The paranormal readings are stronger on this floor. There must be something very haunting on this floor," said Donatello. Just then, Akari began to walk ahead of the group. "Hey! Akari! Stop!" said Ghost. Akari stepped into the center of the room. "Hey, you phony ghost! I know that you're nothing but a Ditto posing as a ghost to scare people for your amusement! Come out and show who you really are!" said Akari.

"As you wish," said a voice. The TMNS, Splinter, April and Casey somehow recognized the ghost's voice. "T-t-that voice!" said Michelangelo. His teeth were chattering. "It can't be!" said Splinter. "Could it?" asked Raphael. Then, the ghost stepped out of the shadows, revealing who he really was. The ghost was actually none other than the ghost of the TMNS and Splinter's old enemy: the Shredder! His armor looked damaged. "Shredder!" cried TMNS, Splinter, April and Casey.
Misty trembled at the sight of the Shredder, especially since he was a Bug-type Pokémon, which Misty hated. "So that's the Shredder? He's scarier than you described," asked Misty. "What's the matter, did you lose your way to H.F.I.L.?" taunted Raphael. "Ha, ha. Very funny. As long as you wretched reptiles and rodent still exist, my spirit will never rest in peace. I didn't expect to run into you here. But since you're here, it's time that I eliminate you once and for all!" said the Shredder. "Come on! Transform into your true form already!" said Akari. "This is my true form," said the Shredder. "Liar! Ghosts aren't real!" said Akari. The Shredder began to chuckle. "Oh really. If I wasn't a ghost, could I still do . . . this?!" asked the Shredder. He then transformed into a spirit cloud and began to enter through Akari's mouth. Akari screamed as the Shredder started to posses her body. "Akari!" cried Ghost. Akari turned and everybody could see Akari's eyes glowing red. Some blades began to sprout out of Akari's hands, arms, shoulders and legs. In addition, the Shredder's face appeared on Akari's stomach. "Sorry. But I'm in control of Akari's body right now until I can contact the Foot and have them prepare a new body for me," said the Shredder.
(End Music)
Inside of Akari's mind, Akari was all chained and shackled, with the Shredder standing next to her, taunting her. "This can't be happening! Possession is impossible!" said Akari. "Oh, but it is! I'm going to control your body to make you kill your friends and I'm going to make you watch! And the worst part for you is that you won't find an scientific explanation of how it happened! How are you going to prove their deaths scientifically?" taunted the Shredder. Akari remained silent. "That's what I thought. You can't come up with a pathetic answer for once," said the Shredder. Shredder-Akari turned to face the TMNS and their friends. The TMNS and Kamen Rider Ghost got out their weapons. "We have to be careful guys. We have to somehow free Akari from Shredder's grip without hurting her too bad," said Ghost.
Shredder-Akari made the first move by charging at the heroes. He swiped at the TMNS and Ghost, but they dodged him just in time. Shredder-Akair swiped again, but was blocked by Leonardo and Ghost's swords. Raphael tried to attack Shredder-Akari, but the Shredder-Akari kicked Raphael, knocking him back. Donatello kicked Shredder-Akari in the back, knocking the villain down. However, Shredder-Akari got back up, still in fighting shape. Michelangelo converted one of his nunchakus into a Kusarigama and swung it at Shredder-Akari. Unfortunately for him, Shredder-Akari grabbed at the chain. He then began to swing Michelangelo around. The Ninja Squirtle screamed as he was getting spun around. Shredder-Akari then let go and Michelangelo crashed into a wall. Leonardo and Ghost continued to block Shredder-Akari's attacks.
"I've got to help them!" said Misty, taking out a Pokéball. "Golduck, I choose you!" said Misty. She threw the ball and her Golduck was summoned. "Golduck!" said Golduck. "Golduck, we need your help! Use Confusion on the Shredder!" said Misty. Suddenly, Golduck used Confusion, on Misty! Misty yelped as she felt the psychic energy grip her. Golduck then threw her on to the ground. "Golduck! You were supposed to use Confusion on the Shredder, not me!" yelled Misty. Golduck responded by squirting her in the face with his Water Gun attack. Golduck then crossed his arms and turned away from Misty. "Golduck, are even listening to me?!" asked Misty. Golduck remained silent.
"It look's like it's up to me. Ninetales, Primarina, we need you!" said April as she threw the two Pokéballs. Her two female Pokémon were called on for battle. "You called?" asked Ninetales. "What's going on?" asked Primarina. "That girl over there, Akari is being possessed by the ghost of the Shredder. We have to save her," said April. "We'll do what we can, April," said Primarina.
Primarina fired a Water Gun attack at Shredder-Akari, soaking the possessed woman. The Shredder turned around spotted Primarina along with Ninetales. "Ninetales, Hex attack!" said April. Ninetales' eyes started to glow purple and light red. It then froze Shredder-Akari in place. "Let me go, you nine-tailed vermin!" yelled Shredder-Akari. "Not a chance!" said Ninetales. The TMNS and Primarina began to fire their Water Gun attacks at Shredder-Akari as Ninetales psychically froze him. Suddenly, Shredder-Akari burst free of Ninetales' Hex grip. Shredder-Akari then charged and used Pursuit on the heroes, knocking them down. Shredder-Akari raised his bladed hands. "Any last words before I kill you?" asked Shredder-Akari.
"I ain't afraid of no ghost!" said a voice. "Huh?" asked Shredder-Akari. The next thing Shredder-Akari knew, he was getting blasted by a nuclear powered proton stream.
(Insert "Extreme Ghostbusters Theme")
Shredder-Akari turned and saw who was blasting him. It was the Extreme Ghostbusters. They were the next generation of Ghostbusters after the first team retired. The members consisted of Kylie Griffin, a goth girl genius and expert on the occult; Eduardo Rivera, a cynical Latino slacker; Garrett Miller, a young white paraplegic athlete who uses a wheelchair; and Roland Jackson, a studious African-American machinery whiz. "Holy guacamole! It's the Extreme Ghostbusters!" cried Michelangelo.
"We came here after hearing reports of the ghost that's haunting the place," said Kylie. "The ghost is currently possessing my friend, Akari," said Ghost. "We just got the thing to drive ghosts out of people's bodies," said Roland. "And what's that?" asked Primarina. "Slime Blowers," said Eduardo. The four Ghostbusters then began to fire green slime at Shredder-Akari. Shredder-Akari yelped as he was getting slimed. This was enough to force the Shredder's ghost right out of Akari's body. Akari then fell unconscious, all slimed.
Once the Shredder's ghost was out of Akari's body, the four Ghostbusters began to wrangle him with their proton streams. "Ready the trap!" said Garret. "Right!" said Kylie. She slide the trap to the ground and it opened up. The Ghostbusters struggled to get the Shredder's ghost into the ghost trap. Eventually, the Shredder's ghost started to get sucked in. "You wretched reptiles haven't heard the last of the Shreddeeeeerrrrrrrrr!" screamed the Shredder's ghost as the trap closed in on him.
(End Music)
"Whew. Glad that's over," said Raphael. "So what are you going to do with Shredder's ghost?" asked Ninetales. "We're going to take it with us, back to New York," said Kylie. "Oh. And by the way. We also snagged the ghosts that one of you sucked into the vacuum cleaner," said Garret, showing three more traps. "Come on. Let's get out of here before any more ghosts decide to show up," said Michelangelo.
Everybody went back to the Pokémon Center. The Extreme Ghostbusters were checking up on Akari. After finishing their check up, the Extreme Ghostbusters approached Takeru. "How is she?" asked Takeru. "She's been traumatized by the experience of the Shredder's ghost possessing him. She will recover, though it'll take some time," said Kylie. "Will that experience finally teach her that ghosts actually exist?" asked Misty. "I don't know. Whatever will happen is up to her," said Takeru. "Thanks for your help, Ghostbusters," said Splinter. "No problem. Any time," said Roland. And the Extreme Ghostbusters left the Pokémon Center.

The next day, the TMNS, Splinter, April, Casey and Misty were on their way out of Lavender Town. "See you, Takeru," said Misty. "I wish you luck on obtaining all the Eyecons to revive yourself," said Leonardo. "Thanks," said Takeru, waving goodbye. The heroes then approached the exit of Lavender Town. "So where shall we head to from here?" asked Casey. "Well. Before the Pokémon School and Fuchsia City Gym, there's Celadon City. I never really got a chance to check out the Celadon City Department Store the last time I was there," said Misty. "So now is a good chance to do so. I wouldn't mind shopping there too," said April. "Well. I guess we know where we're headed then," said Donatello.
With the defeat of the Shredder's ghost, our pizza eating heroes and our friends have set their next destination as Celadon City. What kind of adventures await them there? And can Misty figure out why Golduck is disobeying her? You'll have to read the next shell-raising adventure of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles" to find out! Cowabunga!
(End Music)
Takeru went to check up on Akari. Akari was silent and was curled up like a pillbug. "Poor Akari. I wish she hadn't had to learn the hard way that not everybody agrees with her," said Takeru.
"Takeru. Takeru Tenkuji," said a telepathic, female voice. "Huh?" asked Takeru. Then, Takeru was teleported into the middle of the night sky at another part of the world. "Where am I?" asked Takeru. Then, appearing before Takeru was Cresselia, the Legendary Pokémon protector of dreams. "Welcome, Takeru. Or do you prefer, Kamen Rider Ghost?" asked Cresselia. Takeru's eyes widened. "How do you know who I am?" asked Takeru. "Arceus has told me all about you. He wishes to speak to you. A great evil is seeking to conquer Earth. Greater than even the Ganma," said Cresselia. "Alright. I'm listening," said Takeru.

Sneak Peek
On the next episode of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles", while taking a rest at Celadon City, April tells our heroes all about how she first got her Ninetales when she was a Vulpix. She also recounts when Team Plasma try to steal it and how she risked life and limb to get it back. See how April and her Pokémon first bonded and her involvement in the event of Reshiram's first awakening in "The Story of April & Ninetales" on Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles.
Hope you enjoyed this little crossover with Kamen Rider Ghost. This takes place early on in KR Ghost's career. I never like how Akari is always trying to prove everything scientifically so I wrote this episode to have her be brought down to earth. As you saw, Golduck is starting to disobey Misty. Why he's disobeying will be theorized in the next episode . . .
