Jasper was right. The obvious question was 'What are we gonna do about the Volturi.' I had some ideas. I didn't speak up though.
After hours of terrible plans and ideas, I finally decided to speak up.
"We gather witnesses to witness how unprecedented their growth rate is," I finally said. Everyone stared at me, dumbfounded.
"That may work," Carlisle said.
"Let's do it," Jasper immediately said.
"When do we start?" Emmett asked a little too eagerly.
"Now!" I exclaimed. From then on for 5 days we gathered as many witnesses as possible. First, Jas and I went to the Denali's. We took Ness and C.J, Jacob came with us for extra "protection." It didn't start well with the Denali's. It went something like this:
Jasper got out of the car and walked to the Denali's.
"Jasper? What are you doing here? We didn't know you were coming to visit," Tanya said.
"Why is your bride waiting in the car?" Eleazar chimed in.
"We're in trouble. I'm gonna show you something, I need you to be open-minded about it okay?" Jasper explained.
"Of course!" Carmen said. That was my cue to bring C.J and Ness. When they saw Ness and C.J that's when all hell broke loose.
"The Volturi will come for us all!" Tanya gasped.
"They're not what they look like!" Jas quickly responded.
"You get those things out of here!" Tanya exclaimed, that's when she lunged for Jasper. I immediately pushed her out of the way. She landed with a satisfying thump on the snowy ground.
"STOP IT!" I yelled. "THEY'RE NOT IMMORTAL CHILDREN!" I finished angrily. Jasper put his hand around my waist and whispered so only I could hear "Calm down love," I immediately calmed down after that.
"They were born a few years after Tam turned into a vampiress, actually they were born a few weeks ago. Their growth rate, much like our now-deceased daughter Renesmee's was. We call them our miracles. We thought it was impossible, but our miracles proved us wrong," Jasper explained again.
"I've never heard of such a thing..." Eleazar stated. Of course, he hadn't Ness and C.J were a first.
I could see C.J was using his gift on Tanya. That's when Nessie walked towards Kate with her hand positioned to touch her face. Kate was hesitant so I encouraged her.
"It's okay, that's how they communicate," I said calmly. Kate immediately calmed and Nessie used her gift on Kate, as did C.J with Tanya.
"It's true, I saw it," Tanya and Kate both said simultaneously. After that, C.J and Ness showed Carmen and Eleazar too. When they were done, Eleazar, Carmen, Kate, and Tanya followed behind us in their car to our house.
