(A/N: A big thanks to nazwakarina1502 , SugarButterfly432, NamineNasha, 1Demoness, and Kias for your reviews. :) I decided to take both NamineNasha and nazwakarina1502's ideas for this chapter. This is a sort of a 'What if' scenario since Black deserves to have the girl all to himself like Zamasu did. xD After the fused Zamasu ending, I'll add your idea in Kias. I actually thought you meant an original character named Toneri Tokugawa, lol! He's actually pretty cute~ ;) But I can see Goku becoming a sort of father figure to Takara's daughter, too. ^_^

Also, thank you again for all the drawings you did for me nazwakarina1502 of Zamasu and Takara. I loved them all. The steamy ones especially~ ;))

"If that's so then you should-"

"I should what?" Zamasu drawled out, giving his counterpart an impatient gaze. He was still vexed about coming across Black kissing Takara out in the forest, and he honestly wanted to distance himself from the male before he did something he might come to regret later.

Black's lips pursed since he had just been about to tell Zamasu to have his way with the woman, but he found that he couldn't utter these words. He completely loathed the mortal, yet for some bizarre reason, Black disliked the idea of Zamasu being the first to taste and touch the girl far more. It was something the former Kai couldn't understand, and he ended up grinding his teeth.

Why should he care what Zamasu does to that stupid woman? She'd probably just end up hating Zamasu if he forced himself on her. Then again, what if she actually enjoyed it and this some how brought the two closer together?

"If you have nothing to say, I'm going to wait for Takara to awaken," Zamasu uttered out coolly, turning on his heels and starting to walk off.

"You'll most likely freak the little mortal out if you do that. Perhaps give her some time to warm up to you. Do the events you previously did with the other Takara if you really want this one so much," Black said with a careless shrug.

Zamasu paused in his steps, his brows furrowing. Black made a good point. Takara and his relationship did gradually develop. It would no doubt prove to be more difficult to obtain this Takara's affections, but he was willing to take his time. So long as he was able to make sure the girl became his and never felt the urge to leave him, that was all that mattered.

"I suppose you are correct." Zamasu decided with a nod, making his way for his room instead of the girls.

Once he was alone, Black let out a frustrated groan and pinched at the skin between his nose. If it weren't for Zamasu, he'd get rid of Takara. He hated these bizarre emotions one insignificant human was having upon him, and he found himself heading for the kitchen.

"I can't believe I'm saying such a mortal statement, but I need a drink..." Black muttered, reaching into the large industrial fridge and grabbing a beer.

The next day, Takara tentatively peeked her head out of her door. After the 'incident' in the forest, Takara had been tempted to hide out in her room until she was hopefully rescued. How could she even face Black after such an embarrassing and unexpected development? Unfortunately for Takara, her stomach had other ideas and she knew it wouldn't calm down until she put something inside of it.

A sigh of relief escaped the raven haired girls lips seeing that no one was around, and she peeked into the fridge, wondering what she was in the mood for?

"Some eggs, bacon, and a side of fruit sounds good and simple," she nodded to herself with a smile, grabbing the contents she needed before heading over to the stove to turn it on.

Humming to herself as she placed some slices of bacon onto the sizzling pan, Takara was about to crack an egg onto it as well, only to end up dropping it to the floor when a voice said groggily, "You actually know how to cook?"

"D-don't sneak up on me like that!" Takara stuttered out, turning to Black who was leaning against the door frame. She tilted her head since his eyes looked a little bloodshot and he seemed almost unsteady. "Erm, are you drunk...?"

Black scoffed and moved to the small table where he slouched down in the kitchen chair. "God's do not get intoxicated like you mortals...And you should be be paying more attention to the stove before your food burns or you end up setting this house on fire."

A small embarrassed blush appeared on Takara's face and she quickly focused back on the food she was preparing. She was just going to fix a small meal for herself, but peering back at Black and seeing the spiky haired male holding his face in his hand, she found herself feeling almost bad for the guy. He looked almost...pitiable.

"Here," Takara said softly after some time had passed, placing the breakfast plate in front of the man she was supposed to despise.

"What makes you think I'd want this?" Black muttered, doing his best to ignore the irritating warmness that crept up the back of his neck. He would rather die before admitting it out loud, but he wasn't accustomed to having others serve him. When he had studied under Gowasu, it had always been he who had done everything for his master. So this felt truthfully...nice.

"You don't have to eat it, I just thought you looked like you needed it is all," Takara said with a sigh, shaking her head before heading back over to the stove to finish fixing her own meal. She could make out Black grumbling something, and she couldn't help but smile faintly hearing the tinkling of silverware. He had actually lowered his pride for once and was eating something she-a weak mortal-had made.

I probably shouldn't be so happy about just that Takara pondered, doing her best not to giggle as she sat across from the scowling male.

They ate in silence, but it was pleasant not having Black mock her for once. She was certain he was going to bring up the kiss just to mess with her at any moment, yet he didn't...If she wasn't a hostage, this would feel like a normal every day occurrence. When Takara thought more about it, they'd probably look like a couple to anyone who saw them, and her flushed form ended up draining her juice in once gulp. She couldn't believe she was actually contemplating such things, and her more than usually odd behavior didn't go unnoticed by Black who was looking at her with a raised brow.

"This is a strange sight. The two of you don't normally dine together," Zamasu uttered out as he came into the kitchen.

"Where have you been?" Black drawled, not bothering to give an answer to Zamasu's statement for he was more curious about the wrapped parcel in his hand.

"Out getting a few things. Here. For you," Zamasu voiced, holding out the package for Takara to take.

Her head tilting curiously, Takara gently took the simple brown wrapped package where she was both surprised and elated to see multiple copies of one of her favorite romance series. "Books?"

"I thought perhaps we could read in silence together," Zamasu suggested with a small smirk after having taken one of the books.

Takara's eyes brightened. Not even her small group of friends back home had wanted to just read with her, finding the activity boring. And while being a very outgoing person, she was also the type who could sit around all day and read if she was allowed.

"Um, okay...Do you...want something to eat first?" Takara offered, scratching at her cheek with a sheepish expression.

"No. But thank you for the offer." Zamasu addressed politely with a smile, walking away into the living room. Takara figured he wanted her to follow him, and she timidly did so, not noticing Black frowning deeply while watching her leave the room.

"Tch..." Black scoffed to himself, resting his elbow on the table. He gazed sullenly toward the side after his cheek touched his palm. It felt like something was bubbling within his stomach, and he couldn't blame the sensation on Takara's food. He was angry. But why?

Maybe he should have suggested that Zamasu have his way with the girl. Much to Black's chagrin, Takara did seem like she was warming up more to his counterpart. Before she had been keeping her distance from Zamasu, but he now caught Takara sitting on the same sofa beside him. They would oftentimes be too close for his comfort, and he had even caught Takara falling asleep on him every now and then or just resting her cheek on Zamasu's shoulder.

This constantly made the Goku look-a-alike wonder why he wasn't in that position? And then Black would end up heading outside and destroying the nearest object for even considering such repulsive thoughts. If only he could rip out these unnatural urges that seemed to be growing stronger within him every day!

No matter how much he tried and wanted to deny it, Black knew he wanted Takara for himself. He was jealous of the bond Zamasu had formed with the girl.

"You don't have to pace like that, you know. Why don't you come sit down?' Takara mentioned, slowly blinking at Black. He seemed antsy these days, and she couldn't fathom why. "How about you read with us?"

"I doubt he would care for that. He's never been one to enjoy the objects you mortals created," Zamasu claimed, not even peering up from the novel he held.

"How can you two just stay holed up in this house all day? And I believe you've forgotten, but there are other matters we're supposed to be dealing with, Zamasu!" Black said curtly with a glare. They still had some humans they needed to dispose of or they would never be able to recreate this world.

Takara hopped off the couch where she stretched out her limbs. "Some fresh air does sound good. I'll make us some tea and we can sit out on the deck,"

Slight tension between the two, Black and Zamasu silently headed outside where they were greeted by a crisp cool night.

"I suppose it won't be long before Goku shows back up even stronger than before," Black mentioned lowly. Of course he wouldn't deny the idea of fighting Goku again did leave him feeling excited. "If I defeat him, then my power will reach an ultimate level."

And that was what Black mainly wanted, wasn't it?

"So is that why you've been acting so peculiar lately? You've been eager to fight again?" Zamasu mused with a small smirk.

Black didn't say anything, merely glancing at Takara when she was placing cups of tea down in front of Zamasu and him. And he didn't even realize that a bullet was heading toward him. It only ended up grazing his earring, but was powerful enough to knock him out of his seat.

"Wh-what happened?!" Takara cried out startled.

"A sniper..." Black murmured, placing a finger against his Potara earring to stop it from swinging, slowly standing up. He couldn't believe they'd actually have the nerve to attack now. "Wretched humans!"

Takara's eyes widened seeing Black and Zamasu both extending out their hands, and before she could say anything, they had sent a deadly blast in the direction of the unlikely victim who had tried to end Black's life. However, someone managed to stop it and sent the large attack hurling upwards.

"It's Trunks...I didn't think he still had the strength," Black said with an amused smile. They had left the Saiyan in a badly beaten state after their last confrontation. "Could it be that he's immortal too?"

Zamasu just smirked and let out a small laugh. "That's an interesting joke. Here. Take Takara for now. I'll deal with the nuisance." he trailed off, surprising both Black and Takara when he was lifting her up and placing the female within Black's arms.

"W-wait!" Takara cried out when Zamasu went shooting off at Future Trunks who was heading toward them, gripping onto Black's vest when he was rising up into the air with her and taking off himself. She didn't realize just how firmly the male was holding onto her or see the smirk that had formed on his features from having the female so close.

Glancing around awkwardly, Takara wasn't sure what she should do. Black had left her in a ruined part of the city in order to help Zamasu against Trunks. She could see the flashes from the fight even from here, and even knowing Black had strictly told her not to leave this spot, maybe it would be better to try and reunite with the person who could help her get home...?

What is wrong with me? I haven't once thought about trying to get home all this time Takara realized with a troubled smile on her fair features. It was hard to believe, but she had actually enjoyed being around Zamasu these past couple of days. And even Black...

"Takara!"

At the familiar voice, Takara flipped around seeing Bulma. And Goku along with Vegeta were with her, this causing tears to form in her eyes. The glasses wearing female hadn't realized how much she had missed all of them, and she started to run toward the three. A sudden blast unexpectedly blocked her path, causing Takara to cry out and fall backwards.

"You weren't trying to leave me now, were you, Takara?" Zamasu inquired with a disappointed look, a cold smile upon his lips.

Black grinned and aimed his Ki energy at the time machine. "Doesn't look like she or any of them will be going anywhere now."

Giving a startled look at the burning vehicle, Goku turned narrowed eyes on their foes. "Oi! Let Takara go! You can't keep her hostage like that!"

"The girl should be the least of your worries. This world is about to become your grave," Zamasu stated coolly, about to lunge at Goku and Vegeta, yet he, along with Black, paused when two figures arrived onto the scene. One happening to be Gowasu who was the teacher of Black.

Gowasu tried to make his student and Zamasu see the error of their ways, yet his words were heard on deaf ears, and he would have been killed along with Shin if not for Vegeta and Goku stepping in to save them.

Hearing Goku scolding Gowasu and Shin about being in the way, Black picked up a startled Takara by the back of her shirt where he swung her from side to side like she was a mere doll. "Speaking of in the way, what should we do with her? She's a liability and will keep you from going all out,"

Zamasu sighed at this and glanced off in the distance. "I suppose you make a fair point. I'll take her somewhere else," he decided, taking the squirming girl away from Black. "I trust you can handle Goku and Vegeta on your own until I return?"

"Heh! I'm surprised you'd have to ask such a foolish question." Black declared with a dark grin.

Takara huffed, her body lightly shivering as she carefully made her way down. "I-I can't believe he'd leave me on top of a building of all places!"

Zamasu had informed her he would be back for her shortly, and she would have found the gentle hand he placed on top of her head and the smile he wore reassuring, if he hadn't gone off to kill the people she cared about. Wishing more than ever she had learned how to fly, Takara had some how managed to make it down without killing herself, (thanking her success to the fact that she used to climb trees as a kid), and she fell to her knees completely spent.

"I can't just sit around here. I should try and get back to Bulma," Takara told herself through small pants, ignoring her bodies protests. While Zamasu had flown off with her, she had noticed the blue haired woman coming out from a hole she had hidden inside and throwing something onto the ground, more than likely a capsule. With luck, Bulma was still in that area, and Takara was certain Zamasu hadn't taken her too far.

Her chest and lungs felt like they were on fire, but she had some how managed to make it to the location. And Takara's tired eyes brightened when she noticed Bulma standing outside of the warehouse she must have brought with her. Yet Bulma wasn't alone. Zamasu was there with her, and Takara's running form froze on the spot. She was leaning up against the male with a flirtatious look in her blue eyes, tracing her finger in circles around his chest.

And he...was just standing there and allowing Bulma to be so close to him.

Takara knew she shouldn't care. Still, there were moments when she had believed maybe Zamasu did have genuine feelings for her. Well, he probably only saw her as a replacement for the future Takara he had lost...but spending time with him had made her feel warm and happy. Now she just felt cold and hurt. Was she mistaken to think he might have cared about her?

"Zamasu...YOU JERK!" Takara ended up screaming, catching both the God and Bulma off guard at her angered tone. Not giving Zamasu a chance to respond, Takara ended up fleeing like some heartbroken school girl who had caught her boyfriend cheating on her in the school yard with the more popular girl.

"What...?" Zamasu said, his dumbfounded look almost being comical. His grey irises widened. Had Takara believed he enjoyed having this irritating blue haired woman all over him?! Seeing Bulma about to run after Takara in concern herself, Zamasu scowled and ended up painfully knocking her to the side where his blow was enough to knock Bulma out cold.

"Mother?! Zamasu! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!" Trunks bellowed, having arrived onto the scene, this causing Zamasu to grind his teeth. He'd unfortunately have to deal with this nuisance first before going after Takara.

Not sure why she was actually crying, Takara lifted up her glasses to stubbornly wipe the tears that wouldn't seem to stop. Had she actually started to fall for her captor? Is that why her chest was aching so badly? Muttering how she was 'so stupid' over and over again, Takara didn't notice the figure in front of her, and he ended up keeping Takara from crashing into him by gripping onto her shoulders.

"What in all hell's is wrong with you, woman?" Black snorted out, staring down at the weeping female with a raised brow. Why was she even here? He had assumed Zamasu had taken her far away where she wouldn't interfere.

"Z-Zamasu," Takara sniffled out, burying her head in Black's chest where her gesture made the tall male tense up.

A part of him wanted to fling the woman far away. Feeling her tears soaking his shirt was disgusting...Yet another part of him felt smug that Zamasu's woman was clinging to him. And he almost, almost wrapped his arms around Takara to pull her closer to him, but instead chose to remain still as he waited on the woman to finish blubbering out what she needed to.

He couldn't help but wonder if Zamasu had been killed? It would explain Takara's current state, and his partner's energy did seem to have vanished...But that seemed highly unlikely with his counterpart being immortal.

"Z-Zamasu he...was letting Bulma hold him!"

These words nearly made Black fall to the ground. That was why she was so upset?! His lips parted where he nearly screamed at Takara for crying over something so idiotic, but then he stopped himself. She was currently upset with Zamasu right now, and this notion caused his lips to crinkle up into a grin. Perhaps he could use this against Zamasu?

Yet had he really fallen so far he would use this opportunity to take a human of all things away from Zamasu? Peering down at the time ring he wore, a gleam shone in Black's onyx eyes. Apparently he had sunk that low.

"How would you like it if I told you that you would never have to set eyes on Zamasu again?" Black said in a whisper of a voice, his hand moving to Takara's back and making sure she couldn't move away from him.

"Huh? What do you mean...?" Takara asked through small sniffles, her moist eyes seeming bigger as they reflected behind the lens of her glasses.

Black just chuckled, and she noticed the ring on his finger glowing. Takara swore she heard Zamasu yelling her name, not realizing the white haired male was rushing toward them, nor the horrified and angered look that arose upon Zamasu's face when the spiky haired male gave him an evil smirk before Black and her vanished on the spot.

2 years later...

Black had teleported them to another time line that occurred on earth. It seemed in this world, Vegeta had been taken over by some creature called Baby, and Black seemed to relish in the fact that he got to kill off this version of his enemy. No one was spared from his sadistic nature as he claimed he was 'cleansing' this world. Baby was a threat, and he had saved the wildlife and very planet from being destroyed by him. Or this is what he claimed...

But Takara supposed it was better than seeing people she knew under some parasites control...Although it had honestly been difficult to watch a child Goku get killed by his own older form...she tried to forget about those past events and move forward...

She had other things to be concerned with. Much to her surprise, Black had gotten her pregnant, and they now had a one year old daughter between them. She had no idea Black even had feelings for her, but then, he wasn't exactly the loving and gentle type...that was probably why their relationship was a strange one.

There were times when Takara questioned whether the relationship she had found herself in with Black was healthy? He was a rough lover, and she found that his appetite for her was almost insatiable. She had actually ended up passing out a few times after their intimate sessions...But then she'd awaken to find herself in Black's arms, with him holding her almost lovingly...And whenever she was in a lot of pain, he'd actually watch over Kari for her...

And while he was cold and ruthless, Takara had to admit watching him with Kari, who she was certain he was far more protective over than her, always made her smile...

"You sure you don't want me to change her...?" Takara asked awkwardly, leaning against the wall as she watched a grumbling Black fight with their hyper infant.

"Are you trying to say I'm incapable of changing a mere diaper, mortal?!" Black demanded haughtily, though he gave his child a tiresome gaze. "You enjoy testing my limits, don't you?"

Kari's only response was to gurgle and smile up at him, making Black blush and grumble even more to himself.

Takara rolled her eyes with a smile of her own and grabbed a bottle of baby powder off the shelf. "You really should use my name more or Kari is going to think it's actually mortal or woman," she mentioned softly. "Here. You need to put some of this on her so she doesn't develop a rash."

Huffing when her partner-she wasn't sure if they were technically husband and wife-snatched the powder out of her hands, Takara was about to tell him not to use too much and to be careful of his strength, only to cough when the powder ending up filling the air.

"...Don't say anything..."

"I wasn't going to..." Takara said, not able to help but giggle from hearing her own daughter squealing with laughter as Kari held onto her little feet and rolled from side to side on the changing table. Maybe she knew that for a God, her daddy was kind of an idiot.

(A/N: I feel my ending was kind of weak, but I hope you all still enjoyed it. Takara and Black give me Vegeta and Bulma vibes, lol! xD And I've actually never read the manga for Dragonball, but apparently it's different from anime. Such as Goku Black considered Zamasu more of a pawn instead of kindred spirits while Zamasu was displeased with Black for forsaking his 'divine' body. There was even a moment where they almost turned on each other, so them fighting over a girl actually makes a lot more sense. xD)
