[Where we left off, Uzumaki village]

To say that Kushina and Minato were in shock was an understatement. They were furious and sad at the same time at hearing their son's entire life story. It came as a shock to them once they realized how much time has passed since their deaths, but it was even worse once they found out about what Konoha had done to him after a mission, a successful mission no less. It enraged the two as Minato was close to going back to Konoha and showing them all just what he did to Iwa during the war. Kushina was also very close to leaving the room and marching all the way back to Konoha to level it to the ground. If it wasn't for Naruto calming them down, they would've.

Minato gave a sigh as he had calmed down enough to look to his son.
"I'm so sorry Naruto."
He started in a sombre tone, catching the teens attention.
"If I had known what that cesspool of a village would have done to you, I would never have sealed the Kyuubi inside you."

Naruto smirked as he had long since forgiven his father for what he had done all those years ago. There was no way he could've known what the people of his village would do to his son after everything was all said and done after Akane's attack.

"It's okay dad."
Naruto spoke up as he continued to smile towards the man. That was when he felt the familiar presence of the Doctor enter the village.
"As much as I would love to keep talking to you both, there's something I have to do first."

"What is it sochi?"
Kushina asked him as he stood up from his chair.

"I have to go save my friends."
Naruto nodded to them and left the room, leaving both his parents to wonder how he was going to break Danzo's control over them all.

Naruto walked along as he made his way out of the hospital and was immediately met by Maia and Akane. He nodded to them to follow and they did just that. It took a few minutes but soon enough the three saw the familiar and powerful Dr. Strange standing in front of an entrance way that had stairs leading down.

"Hey Doc."
Akane spoke up while giving the man a grin.

Strange returned it with a smirk and nodded before looking to Naruto.
"Are you ready?"

Naruto held a smirk of his own and nodded.
"I'm ready to see my friends once again."
Strange nodded and turned to lead them, all the while, Naruto only had one thought going through his mind.
'I will save all of you, and that's a promise. Believe it.'

[The forest]

As the large group was making their way towards the Prophesy Child's location, both Rimuru and Mao were discussing a few things among themselves. It had been a long time since they've needed to assemble like this. Not since having to assist Asura in defeating Chakravartin so long ago.

"Do you really think the others will show up soon?"
Rimuru asked the Devil King in a slightly bored tone since he wanted to meet his spiky haired Saiyan friend once more for a rematch.

Mao chuckled under his breath briefly before answering.
"I highly doubt that any of them would pass up an opportunity for a fight. Though, I do wonder just how exactly this Prophecy Child will react when he sees just who is here for him."

"You don't think he'll turn tale and run, do you sire?"
Ashiya asked his king in a semi serious tone, despite most likely knowing the answer already.

Mao turned to his closest friend and ally and gave a hearty laugh.
"If he were to do that, then some prophecy he turned out to be!"
He spoke as he continued laughing, causing Rimuru to join in with him.

As they continued on, much to ire of a few of their followers and the entertainment of others, Asura actually thought about that statement deeply. What if this Prophecy child turned out to be a useless coward? What if they weren't strong enough to handle what will undoubtedly come next? What if everything they assumed all those decades ago would come back to bite them in the ass?

"Tch."
Asura said to himself with a soft grunt.
'Too many damn questions.'
The Demigod sighed as they continued on.
'Eh, guess we'll just have to wait and see.'

[Back at the Uzumaki village]

Naruto, Maia and Akane followed Dr. Strange down the stairs. For Naruto, each step caused him to grow more and more anxious. It had been a long time since he had seen his friends and to see them under Danzo's control like this made his blood boil. The fact that he had no choice but to face them in that brainwashed state nearly caused him to march back to Konoha to destroy Danzo for good. It was thanks to Akane and Maia, along with his meditations that kept him calm enough not to do anything rash.

The four made their way down to a large, circular room with various markings aligning the walls. Within the center of the room, all circled together, was the Death Squad all unconscious from the looks of it. They were being held down by ethereal like bindings along their chest and legs. Strange floated high above using his cloak of levitation and positioned himself over the mass group.

"Alright Naruto."
He started as he went through various seals.
"In order for this to work properly, I'll need a medium that shares the same energy as the ones within the circle."

Naruto nodded to him.
"What do you need me to do doctor?"

"Simply stand in the center. I'll take care of the rest."
Strange finished, summoning two silver circles of light within his palms.
Naruto nodded as he was about to make his way into the center.
"One last thing Naruto."
Strange stopped him.
"This will sting a bit if it works, but it will be painful if it doesn't. Are you sure about this?"

Naruto held his conviction and looked up to Strange with a fire in his eyes.
"I'm sure doctor. It's the only way to save them."

Strange nodded.
"Very well."

Naruto went into the circle and stood at the ready, focusing on what will happen and not what could happen. He trusted Strange since the Sorcerer Supreme has shown nothing but good intentions towards everyone and the balance of the world.

The circle began to glow the same silver color as the room began to become colder. Strange brought both hands together and in one swift motion, brought them down to where Naruto stood. The designs formed on the floor where Naruto stood in perfect symmetry. Naruto took a deep breath as he could feel a slight uncomfortable jolt of pain coursing through his body. He stood fast, letting whatever was supposed to happen, happen to him. The intensity of the circle grew as Naruto felt the pain of his chakra being used for the spell. The cold air within the room began to disappear as a heat began to engulf all those present. Naruto held a grunt as he could feel his chakra being siphoned into the seal. Luckily, he had large reserves, so it wouldn't take everything away from his body.

Maia and Akane stood back as they watched the seal on the floor beneath Naruto begin to lift up and encircle him. They saw his chakra coming from his pours and going into the seals around him. It pained the two to see someone they cared about in pain. Akane wanted to tear that seal apart just so he could ensure his former vessel was alright. Maia kept her eyes glued onto the the whole situation, praying that Naruto would be alright.

After a few seconds of siphoning his chakra, the seals finally had enough and changed from silver to a clear blue. Naruto, who had his eyes scrunched shut to ignore the pain as best he could, snapped them open in time to see the seals around him spread towards the his friends quickly. The group had a faint blue halo around them all that began to wash over them. When the halo encompassed their bodies completely, everyone else could see a black seal that was on their chest. Naruto recognized that seal as an obedience seal and growled in anger at the sight. That black seal on Death Squad faded away from existence as the halo around them glowed more intensely. Another interesting thing that happened involved both Neji and Hinata as the Caged Bird Seal on the both of them also faded away from their foreheads.

After everything was all said and done, the halo, the light and the seals disappeared, leaving everyone as they were. Naruto fell to one knee as he felt the chakra exhaustion in his body. Akane and Maia rushed over to see if he was alright, relief in their voices. Dr. Strange floated back down as he gave the blond a smirk and a nod. Naruto sighed in relief himself as that was the sign that everything was finally alright now. With that, Naruto decided to promptly pass out in Maia's arms, much to her surprise and hidden delight.

[Konoha]

A pregnant Tsunade was sitting outside on a chair on the porch of her house. She rubbed her large stomach and smiled warmly. A baby was a big responsibility for anyone, but for Tsunade, it felt like a huge gamble. She had never considered herself parent material, nor had she ever even considered the notion at all, but after everything that has happened over all these years, she was actually rather excited. For now, she was only around six and a half months in and decided not to spoil the gender for herself. She wanted to be surprised when she gave birth. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked up to the beautiful blue sky and remembered all those she had lost over her life.

Her sensei.

Kushina.

Dan.

Nawaki.

Her grandfather Hashirama.

Her grandmother Mito.

Naruto.

That last one really got to her as he was the one that gave her hope once more. To know of his banishment and not being able to do a damn thing about it hurt her. Then, as if Kami wanted to rub salt into the already painful wound, Jiraiya informed her that Naruto's body was supposedly found near the wall to the West, mangled beyond all recognition. The only thing that was even noticeable to tell it was in fact Naruto Uzumaki was the seal for the nine tails on his corpse.

Tsunade cried hard that day and kept crying even when her position as Hokage was taken away from her in a secret vote by the council. Danzo was voted in and by that point, she could have cared less what happened to the village or it's 'people'. Jiraiya was the one who kept her sane as he told her that no matter what, he'll stay by her side as long as she wants him to. She was grateful for him and wondered why she never saw him as anything more than just a hopeless pervert with nothing else to show for himself. She saw a different side to him as he held her close, not in a perverted way like how he usually would, but a gentle way that comforted her. After a few weeks, she wanted more than comfort and threw herself to him just to feel something other pain for once in her life. It was worth it in the end.

Tsunade sighed as she continued to look up towards the sky.
"I hope that you can rest well with your parents in the afterlife, Naruto."

As she sighed once more and stood up from her chair, something felt a little off to her. She looked around for a brief instance before seeing what looked like a pair of eyes staring at her through the forest near her compound. She narrowed her own eyes as she immediately recognized those familiar yellow eyes. She narrowed her own eyes as she stood at the ready. The pair of eyes came from out of the shadows and made itself known as the third and final Sannin of Konoha.

"Orochimaru."
Tsunade spoke in a harsh tone as she folded her arms under her breast.

"Tsunade."
The snake replied with his usual, creepy smile.
"And how are you feeling today, Tsunade?"

"Cut the formalities Orochimaru."
She started as she narrowed her eyes towards him.
"Did you do it?"

Orochimaru stepped up on the porch and stood in front of her, grin still in place.
"Yes. I have."
Tsunade widened her eyes as she brought her arms down.
"I've found the truth Tsunade."
He spoke once more as he sat down in her chair, enjoying her shocked reaction.
"Would you like to hear just what I have found for you?"

And this story is back with a cliffhanger ending. Yes, Orochimaru is now here and is in cahoots with Tsunade on something. What is it you ask? Find out next chapter. Lol.

Next chapter will also introduce the last big three. After a long time deliberating and thinking, I've narrowed it down to Son Goku from Dragonball Z, Galen Marek from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and Thor from Marvel comics. Those are mine, if ya'll got any suggestions, I'll see what I can do about it.

Also, I've been thinking about writing a Dragonball Z story. Don't know how it'll turn out, but eh, if it happens it happens.
