Sabrina began her swim to tell Aaron and Erica of Melodious. She hasn't been this nervous since Tritana wanted to talk to her about Aaron being in love with a human.

Unbeknownst to her yet, Aaron and Erica were now outside looking for their son. Aaron was so nervous. He had no idea how Melodious would take this news.

"All right, Sabrina, you must remain calm," she told herself, "This is not your fault. All you have to do is go in there and calmly explain that Melodious has run away. No reason to lose your head. Whatever you do, you absitively, positutely must not panic.

"Melodious!" Aaron called.

"AH! Melodious' gone! Melodious' gone! Melodious' gone!" Sabrina yelled, crying into Aaron's pants leg.

"Sabrina? What are you doing here?" Aaron asked.

"It's all my fault! I tried to stop him! I don't deserve to live!"

"Gone? Gone where?"

"Out. Out to da sea."

"What do you mean? Where could he be going?"

This worried Aaron. Morgan was still out there. Who knew what he would do to Melodious!

Aaron felt awful. He should've never kept all of this a secret.

He told Sabrina to go to Atlantica to tell Queen Tritana of the emergency. He and Erica would take care of everything on land. They had to find him before Morgan did. And they wouldn't stop until their little boy was safe at home away from that monster!

Melodious had been rowing for awhile when he stopped to take a break and realized he had no idea where he was going! He didn't know who made it, where it was made, or even how! The only clue was that it had something to do with Atlantica, which he also had no idea where in the ocean that was either!

All hope seemed lost until a little shark and two manta rays showed up.

"Hey there, kid. What's a little human boy like you doing out in the big wide ocean like this?" the shark asked.

"Sorry, but I was taught never to talk to strangers," Melodious told them.

"I'm no stranger. The name's Undertow and these are my pals, Cloak and Dagger. And you look like you're on a mission."

Melodious explained finding the necklace and how his father refused to answer any of his questions, even avoiding them. So he ran away to get answers on his own, but didn't know what he was doing. Undertow told him she knew someone who could help: Morgan. He could answer his questions and maybe even more. And they could take him right to him.

Feeling convinced (and no other options), Melodious agreed. The manta rays gave a silent snicker as they took hold of the ropes to pull the boat. The next thing Melodious knew, he was waking up in the Artic. It was so cold, he had to wrap a blanket around himself.

They brought him into an ice cave where he saw a platform decorated for someone to live in. In the center was a clamshell face away from them.

"Tiger shark, meet the one and only...Morgan," Undertow introduced.

The shell turned around to reveal Morgan sitting on a couch. Melodious had no idea what to make of him.

"Oh welcome. my boy! Oh don't be shy. Come in! Come in out of the cold," he said, helping Melodious out of his boat and to his couch, "Sit. Sit. Out your uh, feet up. Hungry? I'm afraid all I have is a cold plate."

He offered him a plate of smelt-cicle, kelp chip, and hush guppy, but Melodious politely declined. They still looked a little too fresh and never ate fish. Instead, he got to the reason why he was there and took off his necklace to show Morgan.

"I was hoping you could tell me about this pendant, why it has my name on it," he said, "My father wouldn't tell me. He just doesn't understand."

"Oh you're not the only one with a father who doesn't understand you. Believe me," Morgan comforted and opened the locket, showing Atlantica and listening to the music from within, "Dear child, did you ever consider that it has your name on it because it has your destiny in it? Oh deep down, you know you weren't meant to be a lowly human. What you are is something far more enchanting."

"A merman? But it's not possible," Melodious sighed.

"Child, anything is possible!"

"You can turn me into a merman?"

"Piece of fish cake, kid."

Morgan snapped the locket closed and gave it back to Melodious before sliding over and rummaging through a shelf until he found what he was looking for: a purple bottle. When he blew the dust off, Urson's face appeared on the label.

"Urson's magic?!" Undertow gasped, "Where'd you get that?"

"I've been saving it for a special occasion," Morgan said, moving over to Melodious, "One drop of this and, bada bing-bada boom! You're in fin city!"

"Really?" Melodious gasped. This was it! His greatest dream was about to become a reality!

"Come, my child. Your destiny awaits you."

Melodious held out his foot as Morgan dropped a little of the potion, turning into a snowflake and landing on his feet. Suddenly, a green light began to swirl around his lower body, lifting him into the air. Melodious could feel himself changing. His legs began to fuse together until he couldn't feel his feet anymore.

When it was over, Melodious couldn't believe his eyes. In the place his legs should've been, a bright red and orange tail fin was there instead.

I don't believe it! I'm a merman," he breathed, touching his fins to make sure they were real.

"Say it loud, say it proud!" Morgan encouraged.

Melodious scooched his way to the water, happily jumping out and yelling "I'M A MERMAN! Hahahaha!"

"You had this all along!" Undertow whined after Melodious was gone, "You coulda change me back! Why I oughta-"

"Keep your scales on, small fry. I'm still reeling him in," Morgan told her.

Phase two was completed. Now it was time to move to phase three: causing Tritana's undoing.
