BlueMystic012: Oh, yeah, Lavender
DAREDEVIL246: You're welcome!
DevilishPixelation1006: Well, I know Katie only survived because she lightly brushed against it, and yes, I know Percy touched it full on, but I don't use plot armor (too much).
BlueMystic012: Yeah, the songs are a bit short. If you can set it to loop, do that, otherwise, I don't have a problem with you not listening to them.
BlueMystic012: Cool, thanks.
Question: Do you feel as if the quality of writing has decreased since Monday? Just a question, because I'm worried that me writing this in the school week will make it less good. Also, regardless of how much it might make it seem like I'm rushing this, yes, it's Percy this chapter! That means a timeskip has happened, and, uh, yeah, timeskip.
Song of the Chapter: Home by Toby Fox (don't worry, this one's long)
Percy
Percy woke up in the hospital wing, a bit confused. Let's see … he touched the thing Katie had … and then it hurt a lot … and then Hermione put something in his mouth and he blacked out. Was he supposed to swallow it? He couldn't remember if he swallowed it or not.
He flopped back down onto the bed, wondering how much time had passed.
Suddenly, Madam Pomfrey came in from her office. "Ah, good, you're awake," she said.
"How long has it been?" he asked.
"A week. You're in a very good condition considering what that necklace was."
"Necklace?"
She did the usual magic doctor stuff. "What you touched was a cursed necklace, very powerful. Touching it like you did should have killed you, but here you are, almost as fit as a fiddle."
"How's everyone else?"
"Mr. Potter, Ms. Granger, and Mr. Weasley are fine. Of course, they're worried for you. Particularly Ms. Granger. Ms. Bell was under the Imperius Curse, but she is also fine."
"Good," he said.
"You seem to be in good enough condition, you will be able to leave this afternoon."
"Also good."
Percy sat in boredom for a couple of minutes. There wasn't even any food. That was evil. He checked his side table and saw two candlesticks. He played with them by pretending they were two swords.
"What are you doing?"
He looked to where the voice was and saw Hermione. His face grew hot and he said "I was bored."
She rolled her eyes and passed him a waffle, which he proceeded to gobble up. "Ah, thank you, I haven't had food in a week."
"You've been unconscious for a week."
"My brain was. My stomach wasn't."
She rolled her eyes. "How are you feeling?"
"Fine, you?"
"I didn't touch a cursed necklace."
"My question still stands."
"I'm fine."
"Good."
They were quiet for a moment before Hermione asked. "Are you alright? You don't seem as … happy."
She was right. Something kept bugging him. Not like it was a bad thing he was thinking about, just a bit of a fact of life that he thought sucked.
"You know, as usual when I'm in a life threatening situation, I thought I was going to die. And for a second, I thought, 'maybe I actually could have been with Hermione,' before I realized that you're safer if I'm not."
She rolled her eyes and looked out the window. "This again."
"Hermione, I want - "
"For me to be safe, but what if I don't care?"
"I do."
"I do, too, but I also want to be with you. Did you even think about me in your decision?"
"Harry did say I should consider your feelings, but are your feelings what's best?"
She paused. "Sometimes it's not best to use this," she pointed to his head, "and use this instead," she pointed to his chest. "I've learned that from being friends with Harry."
She got up and walked away. Dang it. He hated it when that happened. She was halfway through to the door when he picked her up with some water and brought her over. "What are you - "
He kissed her. (BLEEEHHHHHHHHH WHY DID I DO THIS)
"Then I guess I was wrong again," he said.
She smiled, and then he heard someone say "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?"
Ah, it was Ron.
I gotta wash my hands from typing this. I only did it because in Sword and Wand, InsertRandomUncreativeNameHere reviewed saying that I only think I'm bad at romance and to try it and see if it works out. Did it work out? Either way, there's no turning back. I have done the irreversible and Permione is now a thing in this story. I've always been interested in this ship, and I suppose it won't be TOO bad to write it. What do you think? Oh, yeah, I am in a bit of a dilemma. Who do I put with Ron?
Predictive text adventure!
The next day was a bit of a year old statistician and I don't know what to do it ourselves and I don't know what to do it ourselves and I don't know what to do it ourselves and I don't know what to do it ourselves.
Was it good? Was it bad? Let me know in a review!
