Fitz woke up to Olivia; laying on her stomach watching him sleep. Surprised to see her in his bed. Fitz shifted to his side- smiling at her.
"Good morning"
"Good morning" she laughed softly as he pulled her into his embrace.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked peppering kisses from her jaw down her neck.
"Good, after I came in here."
"I didn't want to wake you; so I put you in, Sarah's, room." he quipped.
She smiled. Returning kisses. "I'm falling for you" she admitted.
Fitz sat up against the headboard. "I've been on the floor since that day at the office" he smiled
Olivia blushed "What kind of coward was I...to marry him and not wait for you to show up" she scoffed. flashing a faint smile
Fitz pulled her to his chest. In a soft tone, Fitz began. "We found each other no matter what the circumstances were. You chose me and I chose you." Fitz kissed her forehead "Whatever happens next it's us"
Olivia raised; looking into his eyes. Smiling "So...abby and Stephen are getting married in a month. Do you wanna be my plus one," she asked shyly. Hoping for a "YES"
"A wedding?" He attested "Yes, yes I'll take you to this wedding" he laughed
Liv pressed her lips to his. Pushing through for a full passionate kiss.
4 days later.
Olivia is preparing for another show. Olivia took advantage of Jake being out of town and went home to work on the last few pieces for the gallery. The newest collection is called (Breath). It's hard to depict something; so animated in clay. These are some of her best pieces yet. Liv still hasn't seen Jake in weeks. Fitz warned her, that he would be home today. So there wouldn't be any run-ins. After the last sculpture was finished she had movers take them to the gallery ahead of time because the show is in a week.
Jake, came home to an empty house. Angry and frustrated he had been calling Olivia, all week. She's been ignoring him. He didn't know if she was getting his messages. Liv wasn't taking Quinn's calls, he started to think she was in New York. Jake, knew her mom and brother didn't like him so that wasn't exactly ideal to go and get her. Jake unpacked and went to bed.
The next morning, Jake, got up went to work just like any other day. He was growing more and more impatient.
"Hey, Jake, Can I see you in my office" Fitz ordered
Jake followed him "Hey, what's up?" He asked
"I just wanna check in with you. I know you were worried about the Mrs, not wanting you out of town, that long" Fitz chuckled to himself "I didn't want to stir up anything"
Jake looked around the room "oh...uh yea much better mood now" He lied
Fitz grinned condescendingly "Good to hear. So how was the IPO?"
Jake nodded "It went well. I'm glad you called me in here. I wanted to talk about the upcoming promotion and I know there's still a lot of time left-"
"I get what you're saying" Fitz interjected "You want to know if you're still in the running...and-" Fitz paused not exactly knowing what to say. He knew what kind of conflict his and Liv's relationship would cause. Fitz smirked gathering his thoughts "Let's see, how the next two months go" Fitz couldn't stand Jake, and knowing that Jake put his hands on Olivia didn't make his case any better now Fitz knew he couldn't fire jake for no reason so he just had to wait for; him to slip up in some way.
Jake gave Fitz a quizzical look, trying to figure out what he had done to cause Fitz to have doubts.
Jake sat there confused, Fitz could see Jake overthinking this "Hey, come on Jake, don't worry. Other things go into this: decision. There is so much time before I have to make a decision" He assured.
Jake stood up opening the door "Thank you, sir"
Olivia was finally meeting with David Rosen
"Are you and Jake at a place where the divorce will have minimal damage or is it hostile?" he asked
"Hostile" she reasoned
"Abuse?" David was taking notes, hoping this divorce would be open and shut.
Liv bowed her head ashamed. She confirmed without making eye contact
David nodded showing his understanding "Okay that's good for right now. All we have to do is serve him and before you know it you'll be divorced." David assured her
Olivia stood up shaking his hand "Thank you, David"
David smiled warmly "Have a nice day, Ms. Pope" he offered.
/
Olivia left David's office feeling good. It felt like she was almost at the finish line. Freedom was so close. She beat herself up all the time for not listening to her mom. At the time; she was so ready for a love of her own and got caught up in a relationship where she didn't have any kind of freedom and soon it'll all be in the past. Fitz came into her life and made her feel like it's possible to have an extraordinary love, without pain and devastation. Olivia got in the car. where she sat working up the courage to call her mother whom; she missed very much.
"Hi...mama" she stammered choking back tears
"Olivia?" she asked incredulously
"Yes, mama it's me" A single tear rolled down her face. "I'm divorcing jake"
Maya cleared her throat secretly holding tears back also "are you coming home, baby?"
"I'll come to a visit" liv reasoned. "I love you, mom," Liv told her as tears streamed down her cheeks
Maya sniffled "I'm proud of you" she smiled through the phone.
She hung up, crying. Olivia hadn't heard her mother say she was proud of her in years. It meant the world to her, that she said it. Hearing her mother say that she wasn't mad at her because of her previous weaknesses. Olivia was starting to finally see a pattern of growth in herself; leaving jake, forgetting the past reuniting with her mother, and finding love in a man who respects and adores her. she felt worth it, it's always a horrible feeling when you don't feel worthy and having that feeling of self-worth, was huge. Liv drove to Abby's.
"I'm going to new york before my next show" liv told Abby
"You called her," Abby asked proudly. Abby hated that liv and her mother weren't talking. After liv's dad passed away all Olivia had was: her mother. Abby knew Olivia needed her most of all through all of this.
Olivia smiled nodding her head "she told me that she's proud of me, and I miss her so much"
"I'll drive you to the airport right now" she offered. Abby was so happy she was ready to cry; tears of joy.
liv chuckled "Abby, I'm not leaving right now, Fitz invited me over tonight and then I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon"
"I bet he did" Abby smirked, "liv have you talked to jake or seen him?" Abby demeanor turned serious
"No, is he still coming here?" liv asked
"Stephen says; he saw him drive by a couple of times when you were gone" she sighed "but Quinn keeps calling me,"
Olivia flopped down on the couch, dropping her face into her palms "I'm sorry, Abby" shaking her head in disbelief "we didn't have a good marriage, why is he trying so hard for something that is over"
Abby caressed her back comfortingly "he's a control freak. liv, he wants someone; he can control. That's not who you are anymore." she sighed "Hopefully that will be clear once he's served." Abby added
"Let's hope," she scoffed
"I'm uninviting Quinn and Charlie, I don't want jake to have any reason to come and ruin my wedding" she chided
"That's fine, I was gonna say something to" she chuckled
later that night
"I didn't know you could cook" liv smirked sitting down
"if I have a cookbook and music I can do the bare minimum" Fitz joked "So how was your day?" He asked plating him and liv's food.
"I spoke with my divorce attorney today" she sighed
"Was that...bad?" Fitz asked wondering why she sighed
"No, I just want to be done with him." she looked up smiling " Oh, I talked to my mom today"
Fitz leaned forward "liv that's great, you should have started with that" Fitz chuckled
"Yea, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm gonna spend some time in new york before the next gallery"
In between chewing "Would I be imposing if I accompanied you?" he asked shyly
liv looked puzzled she was surprised that Fitz wanted to go, jake didn't want to meet her family and he asked her to marry him. "you wanna meet my family?' she asked
"Not if you think it's too early"
"No it's not that, it's just, you're the first guy I've dated who wants to meet my family so soon." she laughed
"Even if I don't meet your mom and brother, I still wanna go. it'll be fun we can go to the statue of liberty"
Olivia looked horrified but not because Fitz was going to new york. she giggled "I guess I never told you-"
Fitz smiled foolishly "Tell me, what"
"Don't laugh, okay"
"I won't laugh" he smirked waiting for the story
"So when I was 10, my mom and dad thought it would fun to go visit the statue of liberty. so Harrison was like; mom can we go up to the crown and of course, she agreed" liv rolled her eyes shaking her head "so we go up, and I've never been that high up before, we were in her crown and I puked" liv covered her face embarrassed "there were other people and families up there and they All saw me. what makes it worse is Harrison has never let me live that down" liv watched as a grin crept up on Fitz's face, he bit his lips holding in his laughter. "stop it" she threw her napkin at him playfully.
" I'm sorry, but that's cute" Fitz belted out laughing hysterically.
liv cut her eyes smiling at him "We're going to new york tomorrow, you should pack" she reminded
"Are you excited?" he asked knowing he had something up his sleeve.
"Are you? you might be meeting my mom" she cocked her head to the side smiling. "if you behave" she gave him a stern teasing glare.
he smirked mischievously "I'll be on my best behavior. do you wanna sleep here tonight?" he stood up clearing the table
"If you want me too" she teased.
"You know, I do" Fitz smirked. "let's go" Fitz grabbed hold of liv's hand leading her to the bedroom "oh you know what, we can take the jet and leave anytime" Fitz quipped
"You have a jet?" she frowned with a curious smile
"It's my fathers, Sarah brought it here... sooo, is that a yes" he nudged her playfully
liv nodded in agreement "I'm gonna shower first" liv halted her steps, walking towards the bathroom.
Fitz continued to the bedroom. he felt like liv was avoiding him and he knew the reason. Although this wasn't the first time they slept in the same bed he understood her hesitation. From the first moment he saw her smile; he became amorous of her. Fitz respected her and it didn't matter to him that she wanted to wait, even if she didn't tell him. He could read her like a book. Olivia got out of the shower. She changed in the bathroom. Sex wasn't something they had talked about because of the new relationship and honestly the chemistry alone was enough to fuel their desire for each other. Olivia didn't feel pressured by him but the silence on the topic was enough to make her mind wander where Fitz's mind was? liv stepped into his bedroom wearing: his shirt. She smiled standing the door waiting for him to notice. Fitz was laying in bed, sending emails to his staff letting them know (he would be out for a couple of days.) Fitz felt the atmosphere change, looking up; Olivia was standing there hair wet and curly. she smiled as his eyes canvassed her slender body. "You are beautiful" he got off the bed moving towards her. Fitz pulled Olivia onto the bed with him "We don't have to do anything until you're ready" Fitz reasoned. It hadn't come up, yet. Fitz wanted her to feel comfortable and for her to know that he was: on the same page.
Olivia felt relieved, Fitz was proving to be the best man she's ever been lucky enough to call hers. Knowing that the topic of sex hadn't come up. They were always so in sync. this is what true love feels like she thought. Never having to talk, but knowing your partner's boundaries and respecting them was the best feeling in the world she didn't have that with jake, and he was her husband. "you do know me" she said matter-of-factly
"Because you let me know you" Fitz moved up the bed waiting for liv to come up.
Olivia switched off the big light leaving only the lamps on and climbed into bed. she snuggled up to Fitz wrapping her arms around him and intertwining her legs with his. she slept on him like he was a giant teddy bear.
Fitz switched off the lamp "livvie?" he stroked her wet curls
"yes" she answered
"Earlier, did you call me; a guy you're dating, as in I'm your boyfriend?" Fitz teased her
she faced him "Do you want to be my boyfriend?"
"There's nothing I want more, although until you're divorce I'm your mistress" Fitz joked laughing
"No that would make you my "mister" right?" she giggled.
"I can't wait to go to new york" Fitz held her tighter and they drifted to sleep entangled in each other.
"Good morning" Fitz walked into the kitchen, liv was making french toast
"Good morning, are you hungry?" she asked sitting a plate of french toast down.
"Starving" Fitz smirked "come here" he reached out pulling her onto his lap
"I have to call Abby, she offered to take me to the airport" she quipped getting up "but eat" she gestured to the french toast
"Thank you," he smiled taking a bit "wow' he said to himself.
Fitz finished eating and started packing, he didn't pack much just some nice shirts and pants, he got dressed. Called the pilot to make sure they were set to leave on time. "Hey Sarah, you're welcome to the penthouse. I'm going out of town for a couple of days" Fitz left that on Sarah's voicemail and continued to get ready. Fitz grabbed his and liv's suitcases putting them by the elevator door.
/
"You're taking Fitz, to new york to meet Maya and Harrison," Abby asked not completely sure she was being serious.
"He's coming, we haven't decided if we're taking that step. but maybe we will"
"Okay" Abby attested
"Is jake still showing up?" liv asked changing the subject
"No, but liv don't worry about him. just go and have fun with your family"
"Thanks, Abby"
"Hey, are you ready to go?" Fitz interrupted
"Uh, yea. Abby, I have to go bye. love you" with that liv hung up
"I called a car for us, you're car is safe in the garage" Fitz checked his phone "mitch is downstairs"
"Ok let me grab my-" liv looked at her already packed bags "looks like you have everything covered
"Yup," he smirked
Olivia and Fitz took their seats on the jet,
"Can I get y'all anything?" Greg asked. he's the grant family flight attendant
"I'm fine." liv quipped.
"Sir?"
"No thanks," Fitz waved him off. "are you nervous?"
"No, I fly all of the time," liv said avoiding the obvious question
"That's not-"
"I'm not nervous about you. it's just that...I don't know"
"You don't have to tell me now" Fitz interlaced his fingers with hers kissing the back of her hand "we have forever"
"forever" she repeated softly. liv rested her head on Fitz's arm and fell asleep
/
"liv" Fitz nudged her softly "livvv" he crooned soothing her awake
"Fitz," liv raised rubbing the sleep from her eyes "that was fast"
"An hour" Fitz shrugged. "did you sleep well?"
"Yeah," liv stretched. " Can we get food on the way?"
"Of course" Fitz extended his hand helping her up "also I booked a hotel, you can decide where you want to sleep."
"I'll probably sleep at home, ill tell my mom about you and maybe we can do lunch."
"you should just spend the day with your mom and brother and then I can take you out tonight, don't rush!" Fitz told her
"what will you do until I get back?"
"I'll see a movie or pick up something for my dad" he answered.
"Okay, I'll meet you at the hotel at 8 and we can have dinner" she smiled reaching up to kiss him.
Fitz pulled back "go" he chuckled "there's a car waiting and ill take our bags to the hotel"
"Awe, you thought of everything" she kissed him gently.
"Only for you" Fitz kissed her goodbye. "ill see you tonight"
"Promise" she quipped getting in the car. Smiling like a Cheshire cat.
Fitz waved getting in the second town car.

liv arrived at her mother's home within 30 minutes. Olivia was nervous, it had been almost a year since she's seen her mother or Harrison. liv took a deep breath and knocked softly. Maya was in the kitchen finishing lunch when she heard the bell. "coming!" she called out walking towards the front door. Olivia heard her mothers voice through the door, a wave of happiness washed over her, she had been in Brooklyn for almost two hours and no she finally felt home. Maya opened the door to the best surprise. Maya stepped grasping her heart "Olivia!" she exclaimed pulling her daughter into a gentle long-awaited hug.
"mom?" liv squealed
"livvie, you're home. I've missed you so much, baby."
"I miss you too mom" liv stepped back smiling. "is Harrison here?"
"no, I'll call him right now" Maya smiled. "oh livvie!"
Olivia sat down- as her eyes circled the house. everything was how she remembered it. Being home was a breath of fresh air. she texted Fitz letting him know he got there safely. "how's it going?"-Fitz "good, it feels good being home" she replied
"go spend time with your mom, call me when you're ready to leave"
"I'll see you tonight? liv smiled at her phone slipping it back into her pocket
"livvie, Harrison is gonna be thrilled."
"We could have lunch." liv suggested.
"I'll make something. We can talk about what's next for you"
/
"are you staying?" Maya asked hoping she would; stay.
liv hesitated "I met someone" she confessed. smiling shyly. "his name is, Fitz"
Maya was dumbfounded upon the idea that her daughter; Olivia. whom just filed for divorce is now in another relationship
"Does he know about, jake?" Maya asked trying not to sound: condescending and, judgemental.
liv chuckled softly thinking about how she and Fitz met. the irony in it all "he's uh...he's jake's boss"
Maya stared back at Olivia. Blankly. like she was trying to find the words, although stuck. the only thought that formed in her mind was; name, what's his name. Olivia could see the obvious look of confusion or was it a disappointment.
"who is this man," Maya broke the silence.
"His name is Fitz" liv could feel heat spread across her cheeks as she said his name. her eyes sparkled. she continued, telling her mother how they met.
Maya watched as Olivia talked about him. Realizing that she was in love or very close to falling in love. She had never seen this look on Olivia. The way she beamed just at the mention of him. Maya was skeptical of this relationship, As any mother should be. This was different and because of that Maya decided not to give her opinion about; Olivia, finding her independence and finding a life outside of love and marriage. she decided the happiness of her daughter made it easier to be excited about this new guy. Maya felt a lot of guilt when it came to Olivia and jake. She often thinks about it. And maybe if she hadn't put so much pressure on liv to; have a successful marriage. Olivia wouldn't have stayed, to prove her wrong. Maya sat there listening to Olivia. Barley retaining anything she was saying but the fire that burned in her eyes was enough. Their conversation was interrupted
"Mom" Harrison's voice boomed through the house "Hey, mom where are you?"
"In here" Maya called out referring to the kitchen
Harrison made his way to the kitchen "You said you had a surprise-" Harrison halted his steps. Seeing his little sister sitting there "Liv" he exclaimed pulling her into his embrace. "Finally, what time did you get here?" Harrison pulled
"a couple of hours ago" liv sat back down "I have a show soon so I thought I'd spend some time with you and mom"
"well I'm just happy you're home" Maya chimed in
"How's work?" liv asked Harrison
"I'm working on a case right now"
Harrison worked as a defense attorney. living in new york Harrison always had clients.
"liv, you're surrounded by successful lawyers" Maya joked.
liv turned as red as a carnation. hiding her face.
"My little sister has a boyfriend." Harrison teased "wait...you left that, jake?" Harrison caught on.
"Yea a couple of weeks ago. We fought and I decided I was done. I've stayed with Abby."
Harrison smirked at the mention of Abby, "how is Abby," he gave a sly look.
"she's getting married" Maya popped his arm laughing.
"very soon actually" liv added.
"I'm just kidding, liv" he chuckled "we should go out to celebrate.
liv cowered "I almost forgot...Fitz is here in Brooklyn. Were staying at (1 hotel Brooklyn)
"Are we gonna get to meet him or am I gonna have to wait until your wedding day; like with jake" Maya snarled
"Mom" Harrison scolded
liv rolled her eyes "It's okay, Harrison, I deserved that"
"I apologize, livvie" Maya cupped liv's hand.
liv snatch her hand back "it's fine. But I'll ask him" liv rose from her seat. Grabbing her purse "I'm gonna get going and ill see you guys tomorrow"
"love you" Harrison smiled warmly
"Love you, too. Bye, mom" she said softly.
Olivia, left her mother's home hours ago. she didn't go back to the hotel though. Being home wasn't as smooth as she thought it would be. Maya was being judgemental it seemed like she tried to tone it down a bit but she was never good at hiding her true feelings. Because of that, Olivia felt a pang of doubt about her and Fitz's relationship. It never felt like her mom was on her side, but Maya was all Olivia had left. Olivia drove in circles for hours, Mitchell was kind; he didn't complain. there wasn't a particular place she wanted to go, so she just had him drive around downtown. liv watched as the streets emptied as time got later and later. Fitz called once and texted her; his voicemails were precious and soft. he was just making sure she was: okay, the last text she got from him was a; goodnight text at 10:05 pm which she didn't respond to. liv checked the time it was midnight finally going to the hotel. Olivia thanked mitch and checked in at the desk. she was glad Fitz added her name to the room the concierge handed her the keycard. Wishing her goodnight.
Even with the lights off; the room was amazing. it was spacious, well designed, and perfect. Fitz laid there; asleep. Olivia tried to slip into bed without waking him up which was unsuccessful. as soon as she sat down he felt the bed shift.
"liv?" he called out groggily.
"sorry" she whispered, "I didn't want to wake you."
he flipped over facing her "it's okay, I haven't been asleep that long."
Fitz fluffed his pillow lying back down. liv was shocked dor confused.
"Fitz" she started. "you don't wanna know where I was?" liv asked incredulously.
"do you want to tell me?" he asked genuinely.
"it's just so late... I just thought."
"liv, it's not my business...of course I want to know. but you're a grown woman whom I respect. I don't need to keep tabs on you" he explained. turning fully to face her.
she felt her heart jump "do you want to have lunch with my mom and Harrison?"
"yes...are you okay?"
"not exactly. I rode around town thinking I could clear my mind but it was useless." she sighed.
"do you have a bathing suit?" Fitz sat up switching on the lamp beside him.
liv's expression contorted into a look of confusion "yea...um I do. why?"
"put it on and let's go. ten minutes okay?"
like clockwork Olivia, emerged from the bathroom wearing a simple orange one-piece bathing suit that highlighted her skin tone; perfectly.
he extended his hand leading her out of the door to the pool area.
liv looked over her shoulder "Fitz, the pool is closed it's after-hours." she reasoned.
"not for us. I have full access anytime." Fitz smirked.
"Why are we down here?" liv hugged herself as a chill ran down her spine "it's cold."
"you're a fish."
"what?" she smiled awkwardly.
"you're comfortable in the water. I'm hoping this will alleviate whatever is bothering you and then if you want we can talk.
liv smiled warmly. wondering how he knew she was a swimmer "okay." she wiggled her arms before diving into the pool.
Fitz laid back on the sunbather watching her lap the pool. she was an amazing swimmer. Almost everything she did was done; beautifully.
liv popped her head up at the edge of the pool. "get in" she called out.
Fitz rose from his comfortable position of watching her relax and finally let loose. Fitz toed the water before slipping down into the cold water.
"My mom was being rude...but I don't think she was trying to be. it's just how she is."
"is that why you didn't come back right away?"
liv nodded adding "yea, I didn't want to put off bad vibes between us."
Fitz moved to face her "you can be upfront with me I'm here for the long run" he gave a cheeky grin.
"so am I. do you think we rushed this...us?"
Fitz shook his head "I think we're going at our own pace and that's good enough for me...is it good enough for you?" he asked backing himself into the wall pulling liv along with him.
she tossed her head back giggling "yes' she added a nod.
Before he knew it his lips met her's swift and eager. Their tongues fighting with one another pushing to reach that level of passion. wrapping her arms around his neck liv hoisted herself up wrapping her legs around his waist. Adding lust and power to their kiss. only breaking for air. liv eyed him realizing that she loved him but she wouldn't say it, Not now. she had to know if she felt what was happening between them, not just at this moment but in every moment they've spent together. since that very first day in the hallway absolute magic. From the way, he smiled even though he was covered in a smoothie. her heart felt like it was swelling as she sat there wrapped around his body and his hands on her like a glove.
"What" she beamed.
"You are just so beautiful. How did I get so lucky?"
Liv felt fire in her cheeks as he complimented her.
"What's your thing?"
Fitz cocked his head to the side. The look of confusion flashed across his face.
"What makes you feel better?. I swim. what do you do?"
"My dad, whenever I'm stressed or hurt he fixes me. I don't what it is" he smiled warmly.
"Mine too. I started swimming after he died."
"It helped," he said matter-of-factly.
"Yea" she nodded dully
"Just act natural. Harrison is sweet but he's the oldest," she warned playfully.
"Livvie, don't worry. I'm charming...remember." He teased. Fitz grasped her hand leading her into the restaurant.
she giggled following him.
"Olivia" Maya waved them over. "Baby," Maya greeted hugging her daughter.
"Hi, mom, this is Fitz." liv introduced. "And my brother, Harrison." she sat down
"Nice to meet you. You're very handsome." Maya offered to return to her seat.
"Thank you" cheeks visibly red. As he took his seat next to liv. "It's nice to finally grace your presence."
"I hear you're also a lawyer" Harrison started.
"Yea. accept I run the place. so I don't see much of the courtroom nowadays."
"Yea, Harrison is actually working on a case."
"It's small. So senior partner how'd you pull that?" Harrison asked.
"My dad, it's his second office. he's been sick so I took over this one and my mother is handling our Santa barbara firm."
"A family business." Maya leaned forward. Impressed.
Lunch was filled with laughs and good-hearted conversation. It went surprisingly well compared to the first time Maya met Jake. It was their wedding day. Olivia had mentioned Jake a bunch of times over the phone but every time it came to actually meet him there was always an excuse. Until one day liv called; a week before her wedding day and told her mother she was getting married. Maya was appalled. She was angry, mainly because it was so sudden, and never having met this man didn't make Maya feel less uneasy about him. And she was right. Maya doesn't bring it up though. Because it wouldn't be fair to liv. Olivia was just 22 at the time. What did she know about marriage and picking a good guy? Maya felt like; if liv had introduced them earlier she could have picked up on some signs before liv; went and said "I do". Once again Maya had her worries but she felt good about Fitz. She could tell he was a good man and that he was raised right.
"it's our last day in new york. Is there anything you wanna do?" liv asked.
"I've never been to the central park with a beautiful woman," he remarked.
Heat filled her cheeks as a smile formed "ok let's go."
"It's a date. let me make some calls and we can go" Fitz rose from the bed grabbing his robe.
liv grasped his hand pulling him to her "let's just be spontaneous. no plans. let's just be us" of course she loved his surprises but he didn't need to impress her. He's already proved himself.
he nodded kissing her "ok" he smiled getting up.
"I'll be ready in five" she disappeared into the bathroom.
Fitz sat back on the bed awaiting her outfit reveal. not even 5 minutes later. liv stepped out of the bathroom; wearing a white floral print dress with yellow lilies. she did a spin giving him a full view of the dress, simple but sexy in the same breathe.
"do you like it?" she stood before him smiling wide.
"I love it. You look amazing" Fitz pat himself on the ack before getting up, meeting her with a kiss.
liv laughed pecking his lips "what was that for?" she asked referring to his gesture.
"I'm proud of myself. I was able to keep you interested long enough to go out with me" he laughed kissing her once more. "let's move"
"let me grab my purse"
/
She and Fitz strolled around the park. no words were spoken the silence set them at ease. Olivia normally didn't like silence but Fitz always managed to put her at ease. she always felt safe and watch over when she was with him. In any setting. they exchanged occasional looks of hope and love. their eyes spoke for them.
"Do you wanna lay on the grass?" Fitz asked though it was more of a suggestion.
"yea," liv led him to the sunny part and plopped down patting the grass beside her.
"do you want my jacket? I don't want you to ruin that dress.' he quipped taking the jacket off.
"it's fine. I'm already down here," she smirked.
Fitz sat down creating a ball with his jacket placing it in his lap. Olivia moved over, laying her head on his lap.
"I feel like a movie."
"what movie..."
"Before sunrise. It's about a girl...
"with the guy and the train..." he finished her sentence . "that's a great movie" he caressed the side of her face.
"I knew it... guys like romantic movies too" she smiled glances up at him.
Fitz bent down cupping her face as he kissed her.
"liv, what are your plans for me" his mood turned serious.
liv sighed raising to him "I want us. I want you...do you want that too?"
"Yes." he grabbed her hand bring it up to his lips "I want you to be able to tell me anything, liv. I want to make you feel safe and cared for."
"You already do that. there are things I don't talk about. and I'm not saying ill never talk about them but I don't want you to run out on me." she confessed "my whole life I've felt like the broken girl. I don't feel like that when you're around.
"I would never do that. I just don't want to be in the dark"
"about what?"
"You. I want to know you. I know your favorite color, food, and, hobbies. But there's more I don't ever want to guess what your yes and no's are. Because I would already know. it's a process I know. But this last month I've learned that waking up to you and seeing how your curls fall when your hair is wet is what I look forward to all day. when I'm at the office and I see jake, I get angry knowing that he's been here all this time not treating you right. It makes me sick I want to fire him.
"you can't fire him, Fitz" she reasoned
"I know. But I'm choosing Charlie or Sam for the promotion" Fitz frowned at the thought of Jake; hurting liv. He was actually mad. Fitz turned his head hiding his anger. He didn't want to look at her. This day was perfect until jake's name came up.
Liv watched as his attitude changed.
"Fitz..." liv turned his head so that he was facing her "I'm not with him anymore. He can't hurt me, Fitz" liv smiled softly "you're the one" she kissed him before he said anything.
she started slowly as the kiss heated up. Fitz held her place their tongues danced in each others mouth. liv pulled back staring at him with heavy lust and desire in her eyes as she said "let's go" pulling him up from the grass she grinned.

Failing to keep their hands off of each other. they rushed to their suite, Fitz frisked his pockets searching for the keycard. Fitz hoisted her up as he opened the door. liv threw her head back in a fit of laughter. when inside, Fitz laid her out on the bed. canvassing her body fully clothed. He pulled the shirt over his head giving her a preview of what's to come. Next, liv, lifted guiding her dress over her head laying back in her pink panties and bra. Smiling.
Fitz hovered kissing her as each kiss led further down her structure. "I'm gonna enjoy this" Fitz said to himself. Slipping his hand into her panties cupping her womanhood. She stifled a moan as he inserted his index finger; going deeper. Adding his middle finger "do you want me to stop?" he asked kissing her.
"don't stop" she huffed catching her breath.
Fitz pulled his hand from her area. He went down ready for the main course. just as he positioned his mouth on her box; his phone blared from his pants pockets.
he sighed pulling out the irritating device. He declined the call; tossing it on the bed. he got back down kissing the inside of her thigh. when his phone went off again.
liv grabbed the phone "it's Sarah, answer it." she handed it over sitting up on her elbows
he sighed answering the phone "hey, Sarah, what's up"
"you took the jet?" she asked frantically.
"yes... I'm in new york." Fitz looked over smiling at liv.
"well, Fitz you need to bring it back right now. Dad is in the hospital."
Fitz stood anxiously "what happened!"
"Mom, called about an hour ago he's going into surgery" Sarah scoffed "Fitz, I needed the jet." she sighed
"I'm on my way. Sarah, go home and I'll be in D.C in like..." he checked his watch "two hours" Fitz hung up grabbing his shirt
"Is everything okay," she inched off the bed grabbing her dress putting it back on.
"My father is in surgery. come on I have to take you home."
"Okay," she grabbed him halting his steps "Hey Fitz I'm sorry. But breath."
Fitz took a deep breath "thank you."
"Let's go" she smiled softly.
I hope you all enjoyed this. Sorry I took so long. Have a great night or day. Keep leaving reviews. Kisses.
