Chapter 18 Rough Day for Hope

Hope's PoV

The deck is so busy today. Then again it's only morning. I was the only one to wake up this morning. I didn't want to stay in the room with the others who are all snuggling up to each other. Is Leon dating Lazuli too? It's not uncommon for males to have multiple mates. Though, He seems to be only interested in Lily. Maybe her sister is just jealous. Females, I'll never fully understand them. I needed some fresh air, so I came up here to enjoy the view of the sea. Some times I wish I was a water type. Sitting down and think to myself. Just when I was just starting to get lost in thought, a soothing yet timid female voice came from behind. "It's a lovely view, isn't it?" I turned around to see a red vulpix. I took a good like at her and see a few bandages on her front paw and both of her back limbs. Those Ruby colored eyes that look so beautiful, but seems so sad. Brown fluffy tails that could put you to sleep. She is very attractive, even though she has all those wounds. It's extremely hard to tell but I believe she's blushing a bit from me checking her out. "I'm sorry, it's a bit embarrassing to be checked out like this. Sorry you couldn't get a better picture of me with all these on me." She says to me as she turns her head a bit and looks sad. I blushed and turned back around at her comment about me looking at her and said sorry to that. I felt something soft and very warm pressed against my back. "Sorry for doing this. It's been a very long time since I felt this safe. My name is Blaze."

Me: "O-oh alright. M-my name is Hope. So is that why you're pressing your body against my back?"

Blaze: "Yes. If it's making you uncomfortable, I can get off."

Me: "Actually, this might be straight but, you feel so soft and warm, that I don't want you to let go. Is that weird?" Blaze giggled at me before doing something unexpected. She kissed me on the cheek and thanked me for letting her be at peace on my back. I was concerned about one thing, and that was her forced mate. I asked about him if he sees us.

Blaze: "Oh, him. Right… Listen, he's a nocturnal pokemon so he's asleep and well… I honestly wish I could run away with my cousin, Lumi. But that jerk would track us down in no time. We're covered in his disgusting scent. I would do just about anything to get him out of our lives… even kill and lie. But we are weak. His strength is that of trained pokemon, we stand no chance."

I'm really starting to hate this pokemon. It feels like something in my heart is telling me I should help her in some way. Her and her cousin don't deserve to be treated so poorly. Moments later after our chat, she got off my back. Thanking one more time before heading off to get some food and to her cousin. I turned back to see her off, noticing the fact that she's limbing the whole time. Just by chatting for a little bit, she's a wonderful female. Might even have a big heart for others. The vixen's tails are completely down. Probably some more bruises or really sad. The more I look, the more I think I'm just staring at something I'm not supposed to and it's making me feel different. "Checking out a girl's butt now, Hope? Naughty boy." I turned to my right to see Leon talking to me. When did he get here? Not even a sound. He was sitting on the ground with his upper body hanging over the railings. The human kept teasing me about the fire type I might have a crush on. I wonder, why would she be interested in me? Although for some odd reason, I feel a bit wet above my tail. Leon teased me again if that vulpix dominanted me. I punched him for that.

Blaze Mini PoV

I come back from my little talk with that yellow Luxio, Hope. Sadly, what I'm about to do will affect him greatly. I wasn't joking when I said I'll do anything just to escape from that bastard. I return to my cousin, Lumi, who's a ice Vulpix, only to see that asshole on top of her and just licking her honey pot. He wasn't supposed to be up. Something woke him up. Looks like I'm gonna have to change it up. He was most likely about to force himself into her, But stopped and sniffed the air when I walked closer. Turning towards me in anger. "What the hell is that smell! Another male, huh?! You stupid slut!!" He yelled as he bit Lumi by the tails and threw her against the wall. Making his way over to me. It's do or die now.

"I-it wasn't my fault, master. It was that yellow Luxio! He raped me and took what was supposed to yours, my virginity!" As I told this lie, the dark type's eyes were burning with rage. Pinned me down and did a deep breath to judge if I was lying. My down there is in fact covered by his scent… because when I was pressed against his back and grinded a little there that went unnoticed by the pokemon I just put a target on his head. "So, that little shit thinks he can take my toy and get away with it!?! I'LL KILL HIM!!" Bursting out from our spot just behind some cargo. Determined to kill, he ordered us to stay or we'll be killed. Darting to hunt down the pokemon I might have been great friends with. I ran over to my Vulpix opposite and quickly told her the gist of my plan and we need to go now. Both of us limbing to the very back of the ship to where a special help has come to rescue us. Just a little longer. Looking back one last time, thinking of the poor pokemon I just sent to an early grave. Hope… I'm so sorry.

Hope's PoV

:2 hours later:

Me and Leon hit the crew's bar for some drinks after helping them with the fish catching and dangerous water types that attack. Who knew that magikarp could hurt so much with those diamond hard fins. I actually could of sworn I saw a male human bowed down and prayed to one like it's his new god or something. I ordered, well Leon told the female human who is serving us, a Oren berry juice and for him it was Pecha tea. The juice was nice and I did feel at peace. As if nothing horrible could go wrong…NOT. A nasty grow and tables being pushed, knocked and thrown everywhere in the wake of a pissed off Mightyena, looking for blood. Yelling at me and my best friend.

Mightyena: "I found you, you mate stealing cunt! Im gonna.."

Leon: "Hey Hope, you gotta try this tea. It's delicious."

Me: "IS THIS REALLY THE TIME FOR THIS!!"

Leon: "Oh, don't be like that. Say ahhh"

Me: "...ahh mm It is good. Do I taste honey?"

Leon: "Yes. Oo let's add this berry."

Mightyena: "How dare you two ignore me!"

The dark type comes up to the table and gets in front of my face, trying a odd berry in the drink. Which was a horrible idea due to it making it super bitter and salty. I immediately spit a flow of it back out into the face of the aggressive doggo. Shaking off the water that was spit at him. "I'll make you pay for-MMM!?" Before anything else was said, Leon shoved a spicy tamato berry in his mouth and slammed his jaws down, forcing the pokemon to swallow a berry that made his mouth, throat and stomach burn with spiciness. The mutt started flailing around in distress. Me and Leon both know what we must do. This pokemon is serious about killing me for some reason, so we have no choice but to fight. My friend said he'll join the fight when he gotten a good look at his strength. "Hope, this might be a tough opponent. I have a feeling this guy must of been trained by a human." He said to me as he picked up two knives that were on the ground. I get into my battle stance and ready a thunder shock. Not like I didn't see this coming. We're just a magnet for trouble.

The Mightyena stopped flailing around and turned his attention to us. "THAT'S FUCKING IT, DIE!!" He said as he chranges full force at us with Thunder Fang. I don't have to worry much but Leon being a human, that's something to worry about. I glanced at my partner as well as he did to me. We've been in situations like this before. I fired a thunder shock to get the doggo to jump or dodge it. The dark type didn't even flinch but ate it. (The hell!?) Leon threw his knife that was supposed to be thrown when the target was off guard. The knife flying at full speed, intended to hit It's mark in the eye. But it was no use when the black dog's tail turned steel and deflected the blade, sending it flying elsewhere. Both me and the human jumped opposite ways to escape the danger that was still coming. Our opponent change his direction towards me and fired a purple-ly ball. "Shadow ball" his attack nailed me dead on. I felt like my body was ripping apart, even my left limb became numb for a second. He's strong, no doubt about that. I ready my iron tail to strike him. Mightyena also ready a iron tail. Our steel blades collide with a power struggle. Though, I was fighting a losing battle. He overpowered me and did a 360 turn around and slamming me intensely. I was sent crashing into a couple of tables. Blood started flowing from my mouth, head and a cut wound on my chest. He really is gonna kill me, huh. The beast was coming at me with full force with play rough. A dangerous move that can weaken my physical power. Just then, Leon stepped between me and him and took the full blow. The human was sent crashing towards a few chairs. Groaning in pain as he tried to get up. As I laid here, I felt a warm yet calm feeling over taking me. I look around to see that I'm surrounded by a pink light. Looking above me to see a Audino using heal pulse. I can feel my cut closing up and not leaving a scar or anything. As if nothing was there. My bro was also effected by it too. The pokemon cheered us on to fight on. Time to get serious.

Readying my paw up to my fangs. Using my guts trick, I gave myself a massive boost in power and a burned status. Leon picked up a couple more blades to use. It's two versus one but it feels like we're fighting two. Firing another shadow ball that was aimed at me, I ready my claws by cloaking them in darkness. "Night slash" Slicing the ball in two, disbursing it's energy. The human threw two more knives to get his attention while I charged in with iron tail. Yet again, he used iron tail to deflect the sharp blades and aim the attack at me. This time, I'm ready. The dark type swung at me but I used Fire fang to stop the attack. Biting down with all my might, I manage to break his steel tail and bite completely through his flesh. As he howled in pain, I started to spin us around three time before letting go. The doggo was sent flying towards a wall and fell to the ground. My best friend saw a opportunity to strike what's above him. Above the dangerous pokemon was a shelf full of pots, bottles and a trophy of a magikarp. Hurling another sharp object at the weakest part at the shelf. The shelf broke, sending everything on it crashing down onto the Mightyena. The dark type slowly comes out of the rumble of broken glass and other metals that seemed to impaled him. His body is covered in cuts and limbing over to a small clearing to fall over. Blood flowing from every inch from all the broken glass wounds. I started to walk over to him to question him on what's going on. Leon held a blade to his neck to keep him still. Not like he could walk anyway with an injured leg. "Alright, tell me why are you trying to kill me?" I asked the fallen pokemon. Trying to lift it's head to look at me. "Because you took what was mine! That slut was to give me her first on mating season and you raped her! That was my bitch!" He replied back. His disgusting mouth about talking so horrible about Blaze pissed me off. So I slugged him a night slash to shut him up. "How dare you talk and treat her like that! You don't own someone's life!"

Leon: "Hey, Hope, is what he saying true that you forced yourself on that vulpix you told me about earlier."

Me: "No, all we did was… wait. Mightyena, how did you know it was me in the first place?

Mightyena: "Your disgusting scent was all over her belly and pussy. I swear I'll.. akk."

I hit him again with the same move. The more disrespectful he is, the angrier I'm getting. Though, I never got angry at anything. Why now? I remember what he meant by my scent is on her. She was against my back the whole time, as for the other area... "Hope, You're turning red. Is this a good time to be thinking something dirty?" Leon asked me. I tried to explain without being too embarrassed about it. The wet patch on my fur near my tail was probably from her. I had to look away due to how red I'm getting. Leon spoke up so I can hear him. "So, I can think of two things. One, she tried to kill you for some reason by tricking this dude. But honestly, that's a bit Farfetch'd. So the other reason might be is.."

"Too escape with her cousin from the monster who would rape and kill them…" I said cutting Leon off from talking. Does make sense. She said she would do anything to get away from this asshole. I feel betrayed or used, was I just a puppet to her so she could save herself and her cousin? The mutt continued to talk more and more trash about her, my best friend and me. I had enough of this guy. Walking back over to him, readying my claws to cut into his neck. I will aim for the kill shot. Just before I went with it, The human called out to me. "Are you sure, Hope? This could determine who you are as a being. By killing him would serve some justice, but getting use to killing that isn't prey is no better than a murder. If you let him go, He'll go off to kill us someday and kill those girls, but it would prove you wouldn't stoop so low to kill anyone that isn't food. So, Hope…

Evo: finally, took a bit to figure out what to write. Work as been hell so I don't have much time sadly but none the less, I'll work on these chapters whenever I have time. And as for Hope, I wonder, will he become a killer or be merciful. Also I shot the TV that he was watching in the beginning so that problem is taking care of hehe. Till next time *waves*
