"Sorry were you saying something, Kaya?" Mozenrath whispered a short time later, cracking an eye open to find her lying next to him. Noting the way she had her body curled around his he couldn't hide a smile.

Nor could he resist leaning in even closer though just as his lips brushed hers I stirred, opening my eyes to catch him staring back at me. I slowly blinked as he kept staring until he finally broke off the kiss, moving back with two faintly red cheeks as I raised myself up by my elbows.

"That was an interesting way to wake someone up, Mozenrath." I pointed out, biting my lower lip as he turned his face away. "Though it was very enjoyable." I admitted as Mozenrath felt a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't help myself." He replied, picking up his turban from the floor. As he fiddled with it I noticed his eyes moving from my face to the turban and back. "You're not mad?"

"Mad? Of course not." I laughed and he grinned, setting the turban on the floor again before he draped an arm around my shoulders. "Now what exactly are you doing?" I asked raising my eyebrow at the ruler who just kept smiling at me as he leaned in. Knowing exactly where this is going I kissed him back my hand moving from his shoulder, my fingers finding their way to the back of his head.

Once he felt my fingers gripping his hair Mozenrath nipped my lower lip, causing me to open my mouth as I gasped. Immediately afterwards Mozenrath;s tongue slipped into my mouth and I groaned gripping his hair tighter which did nothing to deter the ruler who explored my mouth, using his free hand to gently push me onto my back.

We soon broke apart, both panting and red-cheeked. I found myself smiling as Mozenrath leaned over me as I lay against the cushions and I giggled when he nuzzled my neck. "Not really the reaction I wanted but I can work with it." Mozenrath whispered, lightly kissing the base of my throat. This time I let out a sigh and he grinned to himself nipping at my throat, kissing the mark when I jerked.

"That was not funny." I complained when he lifted his head giving me a smirk when I frowned at him. "That really hurt you know." I added, turning my head away when he tried to kiss me and this time he kissed my cheek instead. I pushed myself up by my elbows, wincing from my ankle, before I started to climb from the bed.

"Where are you going?" Mozenrath asked, confused as I tried to balance on one foot. Failing that I put as little weight as I could on my injured ankle, immediately falling backwards onto Mozenrath who had just began to rise. With a yelp I landed directly on his chest lifting my head when he blinked at me, even waking Xerxes who wrapped himself around Mozenrath's neck. "Since you've noticed that you can't walk on one foot..." He trailed off with a tiny smile as I shifted over, sitting among the cushions with my arms crossed against my chest. "Will you calm down?" He sighed and I finally rolled my eyes at him.

"Just remember I can't walk because I saved your life." I pointed out and he raised both eyebrows at me. "You know it's true, Mozenrath." I added with a slow smile and he finally grinned. When he darted forward I yelped find myself square on my back with Mozenrath leaning over me.

"Of course I remember, Kaya." Mozenrath chuckled and this time when he kissed me I draped my arms around his neck as I kissed him back. We were so caught up in the heated kiss that followed we didn't hear someone knock though the moment there was a much louder cough Mozenrath broke off the kiss, narrowing his eyes as Aladdin and Jasmine stood in the archway. "Great and now they show up." He grumbled, blinking when I yanked his head down to plant a kiss on his cheek.

"I was going to ask if you'd like to go on a date together away from the palace. Carpet can take you anywhere you want to go." Aladdin suggested and I raised my eyebrows at him, remembering the last time he offered to help Mozenrath. "Not somewhere dangerous."

"Uh huh." Mozenrath agreed knowing exactly why I was looking at Aladdin with two narrowed eyes now. "Like the last time you suggested I should get flowers for Kaya?" He answered and Aladdin rolled his eyes at us.

"Would it help if I said sorry? Besides it was a joke." Aladdin admitted and I snorted at him, climbing to my feet where I wobbled. Mozenrath stood, wrapping an arm around my shoulders as I let out a breath my ankle making it impossible to stay upright on my own.

"It would be nice to take a break, Mozenrath." I finally said and he fixed me with a raised eyebrow a slight smile on his lips when I leaned my head on his shoulder. "Plus I doubt Jasmine would be happy if her boyfriend and future fiance sent us somewhere dangerous." I added and Jasmine gave me a smile, glancing at Aladdin who cleared his throat.

"For you, Kaya I will go on a date. But if anything dangerous happens to us I will hold you responsible, Aladdin." Mozenrath agreed and I grinned, giving his bare hand a squeeze. "Especially if Kaya is put in any danger." He added with a quick frown at Aladdin.

"Where should we go?" I asked and after a pause Mozenrath gave me a one-armed shrug. "Oh right sorry, Mozenrath."

"How about the land of black sands?" Iago commented, flying into the room before he perched on Mozenrath's shoulder and Xerxes hissed, snapping his sharp teeth at the parrot. Sensing a fight I quickly grabbed Xerxes, holding onto the eel who hissed at Iago.

"It's okay, Xerxes." I whispered, scratching him under the chin until he calmed enough to wrap himself around my neck glaring at Iago with his mismatched eyes. "Now what did you say?"

"Well you wanted to go on a date so I suggested the Land of the black sands." Iago repeated, glancing at Aladdin who shook his head. "What?" He asked as Jasmine rolled her eyes at him.

"That's my kingdom isn't it?" Mozenrath asked me and I nodded, already dreading the outcome. "Then let's go there. Maybe it will help my memory."

"Of course. I'll call Carpet and he'll take you there." Aladdin agreed, hurrying from the door followed closely by Jasmine who gave me a sad smile. Once they left Iago just chuckled, winking at me before he flew after them and I groaned sitting on the cushions with an audible groan as Mozenrath stared at me.

"I...is there something wrong with my kingdom?" Mozenrath asked as he sat beside me and I just shook my head, resting my head on his shoulder before I stroked Xerxes' head. "Why don't you want to go there?"

"It's complicated, Mozenrath. The last time I was there you got hurt." I told him, grateful when he gave me a nod. "That's why I don't want to go there but I will if you do. It is your home after all and it could help jog that memory of yours."

"You are very kind, Kaya. Thank you for trying to help me." Mozenrath answered, reaching for my hands and I felt my cheeks heat up when his hands covered mine.

"You're very welcome." I stammered and he chuckled, unable to resist giving my cheek a kiss. "We...we should get going. The light's not going to last forever."

"Yes you're right. Here let me help you." Mozenrath offered as Carpet hovered by my feet and after the sorcerer helped me onto the magic carpet I sat waiting as Mozenrath climbed aboard. Carpet didn't wait for the sorcerer to sit before he took off heading for the open window and I grabbed Mozenrath's shoulders keeping him steady as we shot out of the room.

"Thank you. I thought I was going to fall." Mozenrath muttered, narrowing his eyes briefly at Carpet which sent a shiver down my spine before he finally shook his head. "Now where exactly is my kingdom?" He asked me back to his usual calm self and I just sighed, wondering how long it would be until he remembered who he was. Noting my lack of a response Mozenrath stared at me as I stared down at the ground below only pulling back when I started to feel dizzy.

"Probably not a good idea to look down especially when we're up this high. Never even realized just how high up we are before." I muttered, swallowing and Mozenrath gave me a tiny smile when I leaned on him.

"I'm sure that Carpet wouldn't let us fall." Mozenrath answered, keeping to the center of the magical rug once those words left his mouth. "On second thought I'll just sit beside you until we land." He added in a quieter voice and I nodded, intertwining my fingers through his left hand.

We flew over the sands of Agrabah in silence and I found myself growing more worried as the journey brought us closer to Mozenrath's kingdom. As soon as I spied the black sands beneath us I felt my heart sink and Mozenrath looked up once he felt his hand being squeezed tighter. Once he looked directly at my face he noticed how pale my cheeks were and he started to open his mouth closing it as soon as I swallowed, trying to figure out how to explain who he was.

"Kaya, what's the matter?" Mozenrath's voice jogged me out of my thoughts as Carpet landed near the double doors of the citadel and I sighed, giving the sorcerer's hand a quick squeeze as I tried to find the right words. "You can tell me whatever it is that's bothering you." He told me, curious as I stared up at the doorway with two wide eyes. As soon as he saw me staring at it fearfully Mozenrath reached up and I blinked as he gently turned my chin so I was facing him.

"It's not that scary is it?" He joked, trying to make me concentrate on him and not the doorway that led inside. Noting my lack of response other than a slight lowering of my eyebrows he sighed. "If finding out who I am frightens you we should leave." He added, taking his hand away before he rested it on my shoulder but I instantly shook my head.

"I want to help you, Mozenrath but this citadel brings back...bad memories for me." I admitted and he nodded, draping his arm around my shoulders when I tried to stand. "I keep forgetting about my ankle." I added with a faint smile and he nodded, allowing me to lean on his shoulder for support as we headed into the citadel.

"Just lean on me as much as you need to, Kaya. Though that might be a problem since I don't really know where to go." Mozenrath spoke after a slight pause once we were already heading through the hallway and I let out a breath, searching the area with just my eyes before I settled on a doorway that I remembered seeing when I watched the show. Once I pointed towards it Mozenrath nodded at me, helping me limp towards the door.

I leaned on the wall as he pushed open the door with his left hand barely even glancing at the bandage on his right as he turned his attention back to me. Once I wrapped my arm around his shoulders I hobbled into the room with his help, seeing his laboratory up close.

As soon as I laid eyes on the tapestry on one wall I shivered thinking back to the first episode I'd watched, The citadel, and the first appearance of Mozenrath who would soon become my favorite character even if he was a villain.

"Kaya, is this my laboratory?" Mozenrath asked, almost forgetting that I could barely stand until he stepped towards a table covered with scrolls and test tubes. It wasn't until I yelped, quickly grabbing that same table for support that he realized and he gave me an embarrassed smile as I frowned at him, secretly liking the way his cheeks turned pink. "Sorry about that, Kaya but I had my attention focused elsewhere." He apologized and I just sighed, lightly patting his shoulder as Xerxes sniggered flying around the room as Mozenrath offered me his arm this time.

We spent the next few minutes walking around the room, well I hobbled anyway, and as I leaned on a table for support Mozenrath unrolled a scroll. "Hmm...this sounds strange but I know this." Mozenrath commented and I leaned over slightly checking the scroll when he held it closer.

"No offense but I can't read that." I pointed out and he gave me a slow smile, chuckling softly when I shook my head. "I'm being truthful, Mozenrath. It's just squiggly lines to me."

Mozenrath fixed me with a grin, trying not to laugh as I squinted at the scroll though when I finally shook my head he frowned slightly tilting his head to one side. "You honestly can't read this?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes towards the ceiling as he set the scroll down again.

"Of course not, Mozenrath otherwise I wouldn't be asking would I?" I pointed out, chewing my lower lip when he chuckled. "It's not that funny is it?" I muttered, turning my attention to the tapestry again and just for a moment I saw the Thirdack again. "Anyway how do you know how to read it? You lost your memory remember?"

"You're right, Kaya. Maybe coming here has helped my memory and I have you to thank for that." Mozenrath answered and I blinked as he wrapped his hands around mine.

"You're welcome." I mumbled, my cheeks burning as he locked eyes with me though as he started to lean in we both jumped as something smacked into the floor, glass shattering.

"Oops?" Xerxes said, looking down at the broken beaker and I sighed as Mozenrath turned his attention to the glass the moment between us lost.
