Chapter 9
Alright, I'm gonna try to get these done on time.
This chapter will be the reign of Gunters.
Of course, I'm skipping you made me, Who would win, Ignition point, The Hard Easy, and some other one you know about in the past.
Right now I'm gonna get to the point.
Phoebe and Bonnie are slightly getting along but building trust is slow.
Now! On with the chapter!
Months have passed with Ricardo and Jake getting the News that he is becoming a dad as he spent most of his time with Lady and slightly do any adventure with Finn, but Phoebe has been able to adventure with Finn. Finn and Phoebe have been sleeping in the same bed for a month and both of them have agreed to go on dates, with the news that Finn the human is dating the princess of the fire kingdom. Every princess was jealous. That Flame princess has taken the hero's heart
In the bedroom of the treehouse, the two couples just returned from a long journey from the dungeon they found. They thought it would be short but the dungeon held undead Draugr, traps, and an undead magic-user. That almost took all day to clear the dungeon, and when the two stepped out of the dungeon the sun was about to set.
Finn is in the bathroom brushing his teeth and Phoebe is in the kitchen taking a bite of her coal making her fiery hair lit up, as she finishes her coal, she climbs up the ladder to Finn's room. Weird that she and Finn have been sleeping in the same bed for almost a month. Phoebe blush as they've been dating for a month, the two couldn't kiss because of her unstable matrix, but they'll find a way to feel each other.
Phoebe enters the room and sees Finn in his footie pajamas. Finn turns his direction and sees Phoebe and smiles.
"Hey, pheeb, man, that dungeon crazy wasn't it?'Finn asked.
Phoebe nodded" yeah, that took all day to clear out one dungeon. All those undead and avoiding those traps, and dealing with that undead magic-user." Phoebe said as she was getting the shivers.
Finn nodded in agreement" yeah, dealing with magic users can be difficult at the times, but you'll learn how to get used to it," Finn said as he was getting his sleeping bag ready.
Phoebe is also getting her tin-foil sleeping bag ready." yeah, it took me a while to get used to bonnie, but I slightly trusted her a bit" Phoebe said as she slipped into her sleeping bag.
"Oh yeah, I'm glad you're warming up to her," Finn said as he got into his sleeping bag."Bonnie can be difficult to understand, but she knows where her heart is," Finn told Phoebe as he started to yawn.
Phoebe started to yawn too" yeah… well better get some sleep. Maybe tomorrow we could do something together" Phoebe said as she closed her eyes.
Finn smiled" yeah, together," Finn said as he closed his eyes.
Finn and Phoebe fell asleep, but in the morning things are about to get interesting.
In the morning Finn awoke from his slumber. He sat up and saw a sleeping Phoebe still next to him, he smiled and got out of his sleeping bag, and went to the kitchen to get something to drink. Moments later in the kitchen, he decided to have orange juice, he opened the cover and pulled out a glass cup and set it on the counter and he opened the fridge, as he was trying to grab the orange juice until he heard glass shattered. Finn turned his head and saw Gunther on the counter but he was green.
"Gunther?"Finn asked. Gunther shook his head as four more Gunther got on the counter next to the other Gunther. "Uh…" Finn just said as Gunther's stare at him.
Meanwhile, up in Finn's room Phoebe slowly opened her eyes, she sat up and noticed that Finn was gone.
"Hmm… Now, where could he be?"Phoebe asked herself as heard glass shatter in the kitchen" Oh, he's in the kitchen '' Phoebe got out of her sleeping bag and walked down to the kitchen. When she reaches the kitchen, she expects to see Finn but she sees Finn fighting a bunch of penguins as they were smashing every glass in the kitchen but then some of the penguins were starting to smack Finn with their flippers as they started to overpower him.
Finn tried to fight back but the gunthers were starting to grow in size, but then a fireball knocked some of the Gunther off of him, he looked at where the fireball came from and saw phoebe with another one in her hand.
"Oh, thanks Pheeb, they were getting strong," Finn said to Phoebe as she was about to say something, but she was interrupted by the door opens and revealing the real Gunther hovering with a pink cat on tie to his back and wearing an amulet with a gold chain and a demonic eye.
Phoebe looked confused as she stared at Gunther" umm, Finn who is he?" Phoebe asked Finn.
"That Gunther. Ice king's penguin" Finn replied and looked back at Gunther." Gunther, what's going on here? and call-off your super bros!" Finn told Gunther but he didn't listen as he knocked some glass bottles off the counter causing them to shatter. Finn just looked at Gunther with a frown look" really Gunther? Ok, where's the Ice king, Gunther?"Finn asked but Gunther turned to the door and just floated away."Gunther! What? All right. Whoa!" Finn exclaimed as the Green Gunthers ran out the door.
Finn and Phoebe look at each other with confusion and follow them, and the two are shocked to see a bunch of Green Gunther everywhere.
"Is this happening everywhere?" Finn asked Phoebe.
Phoebe shrugged" I don't know. But I'll check it out" Phoebe flew up and looked over the land and she was shocked as there were Gunther all across ooo." ooh that's not good" Phoebe flew down to Finn" okay Finn bad news, everyone has been conquered," Phoebe told Finn.
"By the ice King?" Finn asked.
Phoebe shook her head." no, by Gunther, and they're heading towards the candy kingdom" Phoebe said.
Finn was shocked as he looked at the hoard of Gunthers heading towards the candy kingdom.
"We gotta save them!" Finn shouted as he took off sprinting towards the candy kingdom but stopped and ran back passing Phoebe '' I'm still in my pajayjays" Finn said running back inside the treehouse to change into his adventure clothes.
Phoebe spun around as she changed into her royal dress.
A moment later Finn is dressed in his normal attire white bear hat, a light blue shirt, and dark blue shorts and wearing his green backpack.
Later Finn knew a shortcut to the candy kingdom getting ahead of the army of Gunthers. As the two were heading to the candy kingdom, Finn reaches into his backpack pulling out a table with a wire attached to the table. Finn taps the table dialing bonnie.
Bonnie answers as she appeared as a pink holograph of herself. "Yo, Finn, are you seeing these penguins?" Bonnie asked Finn.
Finn nodded" Yeah, it's Gunther! He's taking over the whole thing!" Finn exclaimed.
"Well, he'll have to beat my banana guards and my gumball guardians," Bonnie said with a serious tone.
Phoebe then spoke up" that's not gonna work, you know!" Phoebe exclaimed as she was hovering above Finn.
"What did she say?" Bonnie asked Finn as she couldn't see Phoebe.
"She says your plan is bunk," Finn said to Bonnie.
" well, what's your plan?" Bonnie asked Finn, as she wanted to know.
Finn clutches his fist with detriment" I got a plan!" Finn said.
"You do?" Bonnie was kinda surprised that Finn has a plan.
" When we get there, I'll do my plan in addition to your plan - two plans!" Finn lifting two fingers "Later!"Finn said.
"Uh...alright. So you're not gonna tell me y-" Bonnie didn't finish her sentence as Finn hung up.
"I'm outie!" Finn hangs up and he puts the table back into his backpack. But Phoebe gave him a confused look.
"You never told me the plan? What is the plan?" Phoebe asked as she wanted to know the plan.
"Don't worry. You'll see what my plan is. It's going to be the best plan I ever come up with" Finn said as he continues to run to the candy kingdom.
Phoebe just shrugged it off as she continued to fly ahead of Finn and see the candy kingdom wall, and on top of that wall was Princess bubblegum she was wearing a pink Gypsy dress and appear to be wearing gladiator sandals and gold hoop earrings, and her hair is cut shorter, and she was holding a golden sword and the guard was made out of candy cane. Phoebe descended her flying and landed in front of her.
" Hi, Bonnie. Are you ready?"Phoebe asked.
"Yes!" Bonnie nodded" The cavalry is standing by." Bonnie said but then saw Finn running towards the gate. He then looks up to the wall seeing Bonnie and Phoebe and a single banana guard standing by her.
Finn waves to Bonnie and she waves back to Finn" Hey, P Bubs, is everything ready!?" Finn shouted to Bonnie so Finn could do the part of his plan. Bonnie nodded" Cool. I'm gonna rally some citizens and do this other plan" Finn said as he walked to the candy kingdom town.
"Okay, but what -" Bonnie was cut off again as Finn jumped down to the town shouting out good luck.
Bonnie then looked at Phoebe" Phoebe, what's with all the mystery?" Bonnie asked as she had no idea what was the plan.
Phoebe just shrugged" I have no idea? I'm just confused as you are" Phoebe then looks over to the field and sees a bunch of Gunthers but they look like they shapeshift their legs like horses but they have a single horn on their head." Bonnie, here they come!" Phoebe exclaimed
As Bonnie turn her head and sees the Gunthers
Bonnie lifts her golden sword" Banana guards, defend!" Bonnie shouted as the cavalry of banana guards came out portcullis charging towards the Gunther's but the banana cavalry was trampled by the Gunther like they were like nothing. "Aw, geez!" Bonnie exclaimed.
Then the gumball guardian stood up" Evil presence detected!" the gumball guardian shouted as it headed towards the Gunthers." Must...defend...candy...king- Ahh" but it was cut off by a giant Gunther fuse into a giant pinning the gimbal guardian to the ground.
The army of Gunthers march towards the candy kingdom wall.
Bonnie pointed her sword at the Gunthers" you'll never get past these walls! I think!" Bonnie said until Gunther released the pink cat as the pink cat floated up. Letting out red light and shooting out a red laser makes the ground explode. Phoebe and Bonnie and the banana guard jump off the wall as the lasers hit the wall making a hole.
Gunther hovered towards the hole coughing. Then as the smoke cleared his eyes sparkled as he saw a pile of glass, and in front of it was Finn with a smile.
" This is my plan! I got the candy kingdom underground to help me collect all the bottles in the land!" Finn said as Gunther grabbed one of the bottles and smashed it. As the other Gunthers came through-hole and smashed the bottles.
Finn ran to Phoebe and Bonnie and helped them up.
Phoebe spoke up" so… this was your entire plan after all. Get them the bottle to smash and…" Phoebe doesn't know what to say but then Boinne spoke up.
"But what'll happen when they run out of bottles?" Bonnie asked her champion.
"Yeah, that part" Phoebe agreed with Bonnie.
"I won't let that happen, Prubbs," Finn said as the sound of glass smashing stopped. Finn look around and see a pile of shattered glass
The real Gunther looks around and wenk in anger as the others green Gruther all wenk with him.
The Green Gunthers and Gunther crowded the three to the wall.
Finn grabs his sword from his back and Phoebe ready for a fireball and all of a sudden the green Gunther's open their beck and coming out of the mouth are hands holding golden swords and are preparing to fight.
Then Bonnie spoke," wait a minute!" Bonnie shouted at the Gunthers as they stopped wenking. "Put away your weapons, and we'll get you more bottles!" Bonnie said as Finn and Phoebe looked at her with a confused look.
"Peeb, there aren't any bottles left," Finn tells her as he mentions he collects all the bottles in the land.
" I have a third plan," Bonnie said, confusing the two more.
Moments later, Finn, Phoebe, and Bonnie are sitting on the ground, putting the glass bottle back together one piece at a time.
"So you plan to make new bottles, then the Gunthers break the bottles, and then we pick up the glass and make new bottles again?"Phoebe asked." wow! This is the best plan you ever came up with" Phoebe said in a sarcastic voice as she didn't like the plan while putting the glass back together.
Bonnie angrily looks at Phoebe" hey, at least the plan is working. I don't see you coming up with a plan" Bonnie said to Phoebe.
Phoebe was angry by this but she knew how to keep her calm.
Then Finn spoke" you know I always agreed with you P bub, but Phoebe is right. This is the worst plan you ever came up with" Finn said as he stopped putting the glass bottles together.
Bonnie was shocked and was a little hurt. She was about to say something but then she was interrupted by Gunther wenking at them.
"What? What do you want?" Bonnie asked Gunther. "I don't -" But then Finn Spoke up, cutting Bonnie off.
"He wants to smash the Gumball guardian's head!" Finn said as he understood Gunther.
"We're going to make more bottles. Just wait, okay?" Bonnie told Gunther, but he put his flippers to his head and the demonic wishing eye started to glow as the giant fuse Gunther's pin the gumball guardian to the ground. Finn, Phoebe, and Bonnie shouted" No!".
"Goodbye, princess."The Gumball guardian said to the princess as Gunther walked up to the head and gave a tap as it started to crack.
The three-eyed widened but then heard the ice king voiced.
"Hey!" everybody turned their direction towards the Ice king as he landed near them and his robe was torn up." What's going on here? Why's this place all crazy?" the ice king asked" I was just flying by and - (Gasp) Gunther! You took my stuff!" The Ice king exclaimed. Gunther just wenk.
The Ice King is angry"That's bad! You know what you get now?" Ice king asked the little penguin. Gunther wenk sadly as he answers the question. "That's right! You get the squirty-squirts." The ice king pulled out a spray filled with water and sprayed it at Gunther. "Bad! Bad! Now take off my demonic wishing eye!" Ice king told Gunther and Gunther took off the demonic wishing eye making all the green Gunthers disappear.
"All right, Gunther, now go home!" Ice king orders Gunther to walk back to the ice kingdom and he just wenk." That's right! Walk! While you're walking home you think about what you did!" Ice king sighs sadly" it's getting worse and worse with him. He just - he hates it when I leave the castle. I'm sorry, guys" Ice king apologizes.
Phoebe spoke up" hey, I know it's none of my business, but where have you been?! This whole time?!" Phoebe asked the ice king as she wanted to know.
"Yeah, and why are you all jacked-up?" Finn wanted to know too and wanted to know about the bruise.
The ice king just laughs" Well, I got into some crazy wiz-biz over at Wizard city."Ice king telling his story" Honestly, I don't even know how I survived. Basically, it was the craziest showdown ever. I -" ice king just stopped and spoke again" I wish I could tell you all about it, but you know, "wizards only, fools - Keep it tight" Ice king said facing nothing.
Finn, Phoebe, and Bonnie just stood there confused. Who was he talking to? But they decided to not get into it.
Bonnie spoke up" well I better get the banana guards to clean this up" Bonnie pointed at the pile of broken bottles" and fix the wall and I gotta fix the crack on the gumball guardian head" Bonnie pointed at the crack on the Gumball guardian head" But thanks for your guys" Bonnie thanks Finn, Phoebe.
"No prob, P Bub" Finn said as Bonnie went back to her castle to care for her kingdom.
Finn, Phoebe made their way out of the candy kingdom. They headed back to the treehouse.
The two continue to walk through the grassland then Finn decides to say something. "Hey, Pheeb" Phoebe looked at Finn, as they both kept walking. Finn walked by her side" I…" Finn stood there in silence as he struggled to get the words out"...I wanted to ask you something?" Finn asked.
Phoebe tilted her head" umm, sure" Phoebe said as she wanted to know what Finn was getting at.
Finn stopped walking. Phoebe stopped walking too as she waited for Finn's answer.
Finn stared into Phoebe's eyes with a blush on his face."Phoebe, for two months and three weeks, when we met. I started to feel some affection for you."Finn said, confusing Phoebe some more."What I'm trying to say is…. I want us to be together ' Finn said with a blushing face.
Phoebe then blushes in confusion" A-aren't we together already?"Phoebe asked as her hair started to flare up.
Finn blushes some more as Phoebe is not getting it. " I-I mean not like hanging out. I mean like…. being Boyfriend and girlfriend" Finn said as blushes some more.
Phoebe started to feel hot as the grass around her incinerated as her emotions wanted to burst. Phoebe took a deep breath and calmed down.
Phoebe's flame started to calm down, but she still had that blushed look on her face. She looked at Finn with a sparkle in her eyes." R-really?"Phoebe asked Finn.
Finn nodded his head" Y-yeah, I wanted to ask this for a while, but I was afraid that you'll reject me or leave or something" Finn said as he looked away from her.
Phoebe can tell that he was holding this feeling for quite a while." Finn, I wouldn't say no to you" Finn looks at Phoebe" you gave me a place to live and a place to stay, and a place to call home." Phoebe walked closer to Finn '' I feel the same way for you too, but what bothers me" Phoebe looks into Finn's eyes" Why chose me? You could've chosen any other princess. But why me?" Phoebe Asked Finn as she wanted to know.
" Why you…" Finn put his hand on her cheek as a little sizzling noise came off his hand"…. Because I can't get you out of my thoughts" Finn said, as he tried not to make a painful expression and make Phoebe blush madly.
Phoebe could smell the burning flesh of his hand. Phoebe gently pushed his hand so she couldn't burn his hand.
Phoebe smiles as she looks into his eyes as Finn did the same.
The scene cut to the fire kingdom. In the throne room where the flame king was in a bad mood. The reason is that his spy said that his daughter is dating a hero and not a prince. He never heard of this hero before. Anyways he had to eliminate this human, but then a flame guard came into the throne room. The flame king looks at the flame guard.
" what is it?! Do you see that I don't want to be disturbed right now," the flame king said in an angry tone.
The flame guard bow." forgive me my king for intruding, but sir eldur request to see you" The flame guard said to the king.
The flame king raises an eyebrow curiously, then the FK sighs in annoyance." he may enter, but this better be good" FK said as he was tired of bad news. The door opens and enters a young flame elemental man in his early twenties, and is wearing noble armor attire and his flaming hair is in neatly way, his face looks attractive but his eyes are full of greed and a slight of evil.
Eldur gave a little bow and looked back up to the king with a smug look" my king, I heard what happened to your daughter" FK narrowed his eyes towards this boy. Eldur chuckle" don't need to give me that look. I'm just giving you an offered, something that make it worth your wild" Eldur said making FK stand up from his throne.
"Keep talking," Fk said as he wanted to know.
Eldur smirk"here my offer. If I kill the hero of ooo, and on the day of the princess's 18th birthday, I would win the hand of the princess" Eldur said to the Flame king.
FK rubbed his chin as he thought about Eldur's offer. Then he smirked" well if you succeed, then you can have my daughter's hand, but if you fail, you'll be stripped from your noble hood and pride if you fail.
Eldur smiled darkly" oh, I won't fail, and i better get praise from the fire kingdom" Eldur said as he started to walk away and headed to walk out from the throne room.
The throne room door shut and one of the advisers spoke to the king." My king, if sir Eldur killed the hero of ooo. The other kingdom may start an all out war with us" the adviser said to the king.
FK sat on his throne and thought about this and looked at his adviser." If it comes to that. You better hope that Eldur fails" FK said to his advisers.
The advisers spoke again" My king! if he succeeds! We won't stand a chance against all the kingdoms of ooo!" the adviser exclaimed. If the hero dies, war is inevitable.
FK raised his hand to silence the adviser" have a little hope for our kingdom. If Eldur succeeds or fails, it's not my problem" FK said coldly as the adviser stopped talking.
little did everyone know but outside of the throne room window, a familiar flambit known as flambo, sitting next to the opening of the window as he was eavesdropping on the flame king. Flambo dashed away from the fire kingdom Palace and headed towards the border to warn Finn about his assassinison. The screen faded to black
